Oracle is the new Black [Kyoko, Vagabonds]

Oh? Who was this? A small kid and 8 foot tall bag of meat huh? interesting group of people so far, they hadn't noticed her yet, after all they had no clue what she even looked like. But it was obvious who they were, they looked like goons who stood out like a sore thumb. She laughed to herself, she had decided to keep it more "low-key" so to speak. She wore a black hoodie and some denim shorts, her hair was loose, spilling out of her hoodie over her shoulders.

She was chewing some gum and had some headphones around her neck to tie in this nerd look. She usually didn't like wearing this kind of stuff, she fancied herself a fashionista who loved to wear beautiful outfits. But given that the police were out and about asking people if they knew anything about her, she didn't wanna draw attention to herself. However apparently her disguise was working so well that the "boys" didn't even notice she was there. she had been sitting on a bench nearby listening to the two of them and their comments, it was obvious they were looking for her. She decided to sneak her way over to them, using her stealth skills and her disguises she wanted to see if they'd notice her presence.

She managed to get right behind the younger man, listening to them talking about her. She whispered right into the younger man's ears her reply to savage's comment "Either that or you guys arent very aware of your surroundings." she said before immediately backing up in case he tried something. Kyoko revealed her face to the two of them, they weren't hiding theirs so why should she hide her own? "So you guys are the ones that made me think that the bot in the chat was breaking huh?" she said putting her curled up finger on her lip as if she was asking herself questions mentally. She looked at them up and down, judging them. Guessing from his language the younger one was the one she spoke to in the chat, who was this big ol bag of meat? he was cute. "You guys looking for me?" she said hinting at who she was, hoping they'd pick up context clues. She really hoped they weren't clueless idiots and could figure it out without her having to spell it out.

"They aren't my friends ass hat, I already told you that." He responded to Kono with a sour face like a child to their daddy after they had to repeat the same story over because he wouldn't listen. "I already told ya what the deal was but if you weren't fuckin listening then let me do the talking. Idiot." He sighed just before he felt the breath on his neck. "GAAAAAAAAH!" He shouted jumping back towards Kono instinctively. Once he got a good look of the woman, his shock turned to rage as he glared daggers at her. "The fuck is wrong with you ya dumb bitch!" Seriously what was her problem? Even as she spoke and he figured out who the bitch was he was still pissed that she snuck up on him. His mood was not helped with Kono being himself and almost insinuating something romantic between this thot and him. Thankfully another glare was enough to shut him up.

"Yes! Use my alias like I told you to. And for the love of god stop calling me little!" He growled at Savage after he had spoken. "Even though you probably already know my real name, call me Eclipse." He said in a calmer tone, trying and succeeding to sound cool. "Yeah we were lookin for you. Few reasons but mainly about that little rag tag group of gays you run around with, Eternity was it?" He said putting a finger to his chin and acted like he was deep in thought. "Basically we don't want to step on your toes and you guys really don't want to step on ours. So some ground rules would be good. And the second thing would be you yourself." Folding his arms he looked a little more serious, a slight twinkle in his yellow eyes as the sun set in the background. "You're obviously good at tech shit. How else would you have found us when we got into the city. So I guess we have more of a preposition for you specifically." He said hoping to get the woman's interests. Since he had to act like a leader for multiple reasons now he knew he couldn't fuck up so being in control was key. But chirst if Savage slapped his back one more time he was going to lose it.

When Jean-Luc had been told that Ryung had taken it upon himself to organize a meeting between himself and a representative of another criminal organization here in Japan, he had been equal parts proud and strangely upset. It was a passing emotion, but it still somewhat stung the Frenchman. The fact that Ryung was finally beginning to strike out and take his own initiative was a welcoming idea, Jean-Luc had been trying to instill such things in the young boy for years now ever since he had taken to the role of mentor after the Vagabonds had added the Korean teen to their number. Though it was the fact that the boy hadn't even consulted him about the decision that was most vexing. The sensible part of Jean-Luc realized that Ryung was not under any obligation to do so, he was his own person much the same as any of their compatriots. But emotions were never sensible were they?

Still, he took it in stride, pushing such miseries from his mind and focusing on task at hand. Savage had been the one to mention the little outing to Jean-Luc as the man was planning on attending the meet and greet that Ryung had set up. He was certainly interested in this Eternity group, their abilities while benign seemed to be rather far reaching in the country. The fact that all of their phones had been pinged and drawn into a heavily encrypted text chat server within days of entering Japan spoke volumes of their efficiency. Jean-Luc had sneered at the idea of such a chat server, immediately leaving the server and much to his pleasure he had not been forcibly re-entered. He saw it for what it was, an invitation to join the criminal community in Japan and the very concept of it almost made Jean-Luc laugh. He had done his research, as thorough as ever. The vast majority of true villains in the nation had all died off a generation ago, what remained were a rag tag assortment of disappointing and pathetic nobodies committing petty crimes and labeling themselves as the next big thing. In Jean-Luc's opinion they were a complete and utter waste of ability. They did nothing to further the cause of their Brothers and Sisters, choosing petty rebellion over true action. That would change with the arrival of the Vagabonds, that much he could promise. 

It had been easy enough to pry the location of the meet up from Savage, the man not particularly caring if Jean-Luc made an appearance, and so he had followed behind at a reasonable distance. Taking up a vantage point nearby, Jean-Luc had been happy to at first simply listen in on the conversation to be had. As expected Savage was only riling Ryung up, whether it was intentional or completely by accident one could never tell. Ryung was always a little hot headed, something Jean-Luc had tried to temper and had ultimately written off as a lost cause. Still, he was handling himself well all things considered. Both he and this Oracle, the leader of Eternity as luck would have it, seemed to have clashing personalities to an extent. She seemed for all the world to be almost as hot headed as Ryung, if a little more reserved and calculating about her approach to it. She sounded more than confident in her group, an admirable trait though perhaps a somewhat naive one. From what Jean-Luc could tell from his limited digging, the group had no true Front Line fighters where as he was confident that even Ryung had a kill count higher than their membership total to say nothing of both Jean-Luc himself and Savage. They may be new players to Japan, but the Vagabonds were not to be trifled with.

Jean-Luc watched from where he stood as Oracle gave what amounted to an endorsement of them before moving to sit herself down on a nearby park bench and asking the penultimate question. Jean-Luc took that moment as his queue to enter proceedings. He walked stealthily and calmly up to the group, Oracle with her back to the Frenchman, as always he intended to make as much of an impact as possible. 

"We seek to upend to world dear Oracle." he said, his tone cold and smooth as he stalked up from behind her, moving around the bench so as to be standing closer to his companions. 

"Knowledge is Power as the old adage goes after all, we simply desire to make use of it in a much more liberal fashion to most groups." he explained, lacing his fingers behind he back as he spoke, giving off an air of authority and menace in equal measure.

"Make no mistake my dear, out plans will precede regardless of your intervention or assistance, we will not be stopped. What Eclipse is attempting to convey to you is that we are offering you a chance to join with the winning team as it were." he said with finality before his eyes widened ever so slightly. 

"Oh, where are my manners today?" he exclaimed, an arm coming out from behind his back and lacing across his stomach as he gave a slight but formal bow.

"If we are going by our aliases then you may refer to me as Dagon." he said as he looked up at the young girl, his slitted yellow eyes narrowing ever so slightly as what could amount to a wicked smile formed across his features, his tentacles quivering ever so slightly. Jean-Luc knew all too well that few people were unaffected by their first meeting with a man of his otherworldly appearance, as such he always used the first face to face gathering as a means of subtle intimidation.

This Oracle interested him, as did the group she owed allegiance to. Ryung had chosen well when he decided to at least attempt to form a partnership between Eternity and The Vagabonds. As he himself had mentioned moments earlier, Jean-Luc was more than confident that they could exact their will on the island nation without the assistance of the shadow organisation but it would certainly help speed things along if they had an already operational information network to utilize. It was quite possibly the most time consuming apparatus to organize when they first began operations in a new country, to have one already set up was a boon too great to pass up. All that remained to be seen was if Oracle, and by extension Eternity, would play ball.  

”Shut the fuck up Savage! You don’t fuckin know me! I can talk however the fuck I want to you fucking asshole. And fuck your Japanese lesson I don’t need’em!” he said sulking crossing his arms and raising his shoulders. If he wasn’t before Ryung was now in a foul mood. He could handle being picked on by oracle since that’s how freindly banter worked when discussing logistics with other crime gangs to a degree. But having Kono pile on only pissed him off more and it felt like he had to convince Kono to agree to teaming up with her as well as her to team up with them! Even though he wasn’t sure if he even wanted to team up. He assumed Kono would take the reins and move things along but now Ryung had to do everything! As per usual! Gosh these guys never give me any respect!

”Good fucking job now she knows my name because of you you fucking idiot!” He said punching savage in the arm, his hands coated in some shadows which would leave the man with a small burn mark on his skin for all of 5 seconds before his natural regeneration took care of any damage Ryung did. He least he felt some pain from the punch. Cause of him Oracle now knew his name which meant she could use it to blackmail him if she wanted! Even though she later revealed that she already knew his name from old records she dug up the teen decided to blame Savage all the same. He was still picking on him after all.

As Kyoko spoke he couldn’t help but notice one of the other members finally joining the talk. It was even a member Ryung could rely on! The Psychonic Squid! Jean-Luc, aka the Dagon! Ryung unintentionally let a small smile pass on his face when he saw his friend but he soon wiped it off his face realizing he was bartering with Kyoko. But Jean butted in much to Ryung’s annoyance/relief. In all honesty, Ryung wasn’t sure how to feel. He was annoyed that Jean was stealling his thunder but glad that the Frenchman could convery himself better.

”Shut the fuck up Savage at least he’s trying to help the fucking negotiations.” He said in defence of Jean, a rare sight to see. ”But yeah what that bozo said but lemme add a few more things to reassure you.” he said now turning his attention to Kyoko once again and acting a little more sternly and less sulky.

”So if you’re in the IT department that suits us great. Shenanigans are a personal favorite hobby of mine too but some of these numb nuts don’t exactly like it so we can put that aspect on the back burners for now.” not so subtly gesturing towards Jean he continued talking. ”And if you wana see what we are capable of then you’re in for a treat since we plan on taking down some of the so called ‘number 1’s that are around Tokyo. You’ll definitely see the reports of how we kick the shit outa them and their subsequent disappearance.” His tone now shifted back to a more childish demeanor but now he sounded confident in what he was talking about. ”By then you should be more than satisfied with what we can do. Then we can work side by side so we can really kick off. Eternity’s tech skills should help us in that regard.” Once he was finished he ran his fingers through his black hair to make sure it kept it’s position.

”Oh yeah, one more thing. By then if you haven’t made your decision or you don’t plan on joining us, you’re going against us. If that comes to pass, I hope you can accept the responsibilities that will arise should you choose that action.” This was a blatant threat to the girl disguised as a well meaning afterthought. If she did choose to join she would have more responsibilities too, joining with the vagabonds so they could both rise in the underworld so to speak. But against them? Well she’d have to deal with another criminal syndicate destroying her organisation to get what the needed. But how would she react? And god how would the boys react to Ryung essentially revealing half of their plans to a stranger.

"Fuck you bitch I have manners." he said in a huff crossing his arms. "You just gotta not piss me off and you're not doin a very good job." Ryung was a spoiled child to say the least. At least since he joined the vagabonds. He assumed the position should evoke some form of respect however his idea of respect was far beyond what others would think as normal. That and wildly blowing these little reactions out of proportion usually helped his quirk so he unintentionally got very used to being a whiny bitch about just about everything he could. It was why he decided to take particular offence to every word she uttered and retorted in his usually comically sulky way.

However not surprising Kyoko quickly got annoyed and bored with this. That couple up with more of the vagabonds sneaking up on her and their "demands" flipped her switch so to speak and she wanted to make a few things clear to them. Okay now she was getting into the actual insults which really started to trigger Ryung. She even decided to show off by causing some car crashes and shattering so lights. "Alright bitch, if you wana fight in the dark you picked the wrong guy to go against!" From his back a huge shadow emerged overhead. The black mass took the shape of a frightening monster to try and intimidate Kyoko but knowing her she probably would want to fuck it.

However that's as far as the edgy teen would go. It seemed that after her little light show she said how she wanted respect and that she would be willing to team up with the boys. Ryung however was now skeptical. Could she really be trusted after just flipping on them like that? There was even a panic in the fucking park now and these four fuckers were the only calm looking ones which was bound to turn some heads. "Okay whatever, take Savage to a quiet corner so you can fuck I don't care." he said shaking his head. Why else would she wanted the hulking brute by himself. "Secondly having this meeting at all is fucking respect. We're trading jabs you dumb bitch not threatening to get in your way. We want to work together. We do not want to get in your way and we do not want you getting in ours. Is that clear enough for ya?" He sighed shaking his head. "As for respect I'm not making any promises but these guys are bigger pussies than me so they'll be more complacent if that's what you're worried about." The shadows Ryung prodcued quickly vanished as he spoke. No need to have it out if he wasn't gonna hurt her. That was never the plan anyway. "So we have an understanding?"
