| | | | | Waiting outside the school, by the gate, stood the hero known as Spymaster. He had sent out a text to his interns to meet up with him at the designated location around noon. It would take a bit of time to arrive at the village on the outskirts, in which the time would match up well for them to begin this operation. In the message, he had let them know that this was a real situation that he had been tasked with...that it was a serious matter. A matter of life and death.
When one spent time in the shadows, they typically see things that others do not wish to reveal. Disgusting and horrid things that would break the mind if not cared for...Kiryu only hoped that this operation wouldn't tax his students too much. Though it was only a simple kidnapping, so the idea was a snatch and grab. But he had seen rookies fail before, himself included, and the consequences would be dire.
But these were heroes. Not young vigilante wannabe kids like he and so many others were back in the day. He didn't have a teacher like they did, so Spymaster had confidence in their performance and maybe he'd even make a spy out of them? One could only hope.
He chose these three based on their abilities and mind sets for the most part. They seemed to synergise with their quirks and represented a decent balance of power and utility while also bouncing against each other with their personalities.
So he merely leaned against the wall of the gate, reading the latest book on poetry, and awaited the arrival of his students so they could perform this black op. His eyes twitched a bit, as he normally performed these alone. Bad experiences led him to work solo...but maybe a team could pull something off that he never could? He would see. If all went well then they would even be paid quite handsomely for their troubles. |

The Spymaster's Shadow | | | | | It was a day she had been looking forward to, one she had been preparing intensely for. After all, for the second years at this school, the internship was an opportunity that led to a certain sense of excitement for most of them. The opportunity to work in the field under the tutorship of a skilled professional was more than enough reason for one to be interested in this, and yet for Elise her interest was different. This was not simply a desire to impress her teacher, after all, she knew her mentor was more than aware of her skills and capacities, but it was a personal test for her, a chance to see how far she had developed as a shinobi. It appeared there would be plenty of challenges ahead of them, and the very first one would come in the form of the students her master had chosen for this internship. It had taken some effort, one only made possible by their shared office and some peeking around from the reactions certain students made in the chatroom that was part of the digital system that the school had at its disposal.
However, on the morning of the start of the period of their internship Elise had woken up early, for once making certain to put aside the medical books and get more than enough rest for whatever trials and tribulations the Spymaster would throw at them. However, the pink-haired lass was not found within her dorm room, rather after Tetsuko had departed Elise had made her way for the disciplinary committee building, her stride swift and with determination as she arrived at the office she shared with the Spymaster, and upon reaching for a bookshelf pulled a hidden lever, it was after all a clever hiding spot that her master had prepared. Kiryu really loved those classic styled elements, didn't he? Still, as the bookshelf slid to the side and the shinobi-themed suit came into view Elise's gaze softened, a hand reaching for its chest piece.
Just like a hero suit was a symbol of a hero's identity, so was this suit a symbol, a symbol of her identity as the Spymaster's Shadow. After all, she was not just Elise von Eisenberg, a student at a academy of heroes, she was also Shadow, the apprentice of a true shinobi master. A look of determination forming into her eyes Elise's body started to mold into its slime form and with a light acrobatic hop bounced into the suit, stepping outside the hiding place as the shelf pushed itself back into place.
The decision to attend this internship as 'Shadow' rather than Elise was a sign of just how serious she took the internship and her training. Stepping toward the doorway Elise shifted a hand toward her wrists, a brief tug allowing the secret blade of slime to push out of it, just like a hidden blade from an assassin.
Good, it seemed everything was functioning optimally, and she had rested enough to be ready for combat, which she believed would surely happen. After all their teacher had send them a message warning the group of just how dangerous and serious the situation was, a matter that was well and truly a situation where lives were at stake.
After stepping outside the committee building the masked kunoichi wandered along the path leading back to the main building, and felt it was fortunate that it was so early that she didn't need to worry about other students. If the others witnessed her they would have recognized her only as 'Shadow', the leader of the disciplinary committee, but with it being so early in the morning there were no students to reasure that they weren't in troubles.
Arriving at the school gate she spotted her master waiting, seemingly leaning against the wall and reading one of his books. Although she moved quietly, she had not done that much effort to conceal her presence, although her identity was currently only known to her master. It would be up to him to decide whether the others would find out or not. Speaking of them... A brief glimpse around the area didn't seem to show their presence, so she was likely the first student to arrive.
"Good morning sensei." Elise answered, her tone more polite and serious than the usual playful and slightly mischievous tone it carried. |

RISAKA REINACHTSecond Year U.A / Miss Gray
''Everyday I ask myself if I even should bother'' words 297 • tagged @ • notes | After a long awaited month it was about time Risaka to be placed in a more controlled situation, she has had her fair amount of dangerous conflicts during her first year, but she had hopes that this internship could properly display a situation she could confront without unnecessary hesitation. At first she had her doubts in a shinobi mentor, they must've seen something in her that she didn't know or, or at least wasn't well aware of. There are a few predictations in her head for this kidnapper situation. For one she knew they'd focus on stealth, while her fighting method is blunt and direct she has a few silent tricks up in her sleeve, she just hopes Spymaster will grant her something new, an alternative way to use her quirk or simply teach her something valuable. Because so far she hasn't learned anything significant lately.
She had just arrived near the gate, wearing her hero outfit which consist of a simple dark coat that was loose on the bottomhalf, sports thights and combative boots for extreme sprinting. Other than that she looked just as casual she could be, a hero outfit fitting to her personality and appearance, monochrome and dark. She didn't even recognize Elise who stood near Spymaster, but Risaka wasn't about to do another meet n greet so she approached the mentor and displays a respectful bow. ''A pleasure working under you Spymaster, I am looking forward for your guidance and teachings.'' She then looked around her, there was no one else around, was there only two? Risaka expected a group, however she prefers less interns, and she could totally relate with Spymaster about the solo play. |

Miku got Spymasters message. But that did not mean she was quite ready for this. For example, it was a real situation of life and death. It wasnt Rescue, nor Combat as Miku knew Spymaster was a stealth Hero. But Miku had little to no stealth training at home or at UA. She doesnt really have a hero outfit thats appropriate stealth. Her initial hero outfit reflects her original wish of being a Rescue Hero. But recently that changed as she wanted to be more combat oriented. Miku hasnt gotten a new hero outfit made yet, thus she was stuck with what her dad got her. And truthfully, that was more villanous then heroic in appearance. And for an internship or a mission in this case Miku needed to change things.
She left the white hat, the bandana and the chain necklance back at the dorms. Instead she just had her white shorts and black tank top with a cross with the shape of a X in the front. She also had black socks and white shoes. She took her fanny pack to use her Quirk. While she could'vetried to put some sleath mud face paint thing. Lets just say the blonde didnt feel confident enough to sport that look until she got to her destination. Especially since she was as stealthy as an elephant in a bar. Which was to say, not stealthy at all.
Miku quickly arrived at her destination once she got set. She saw their Teacher, Risaka and some other person. But knowing Miku's rotten luck, thats probably Elise fully getting in the role. Which would mean Miku arrived last to the 'party'.Well fuck. She couldnt even sigh, she had to be professional. "Good morning everyone. Sorry if Im late" she said
