Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse The sole reason why Nimue asked if Naoru would come along to help her with a delivery and a check up on her research was that he was afraid of the hospital. She wasn't entirely sure why, they had not talked about it, she had not asked but merely accepted. But now that she had something that did not involve the medical section and thus the wards or the surgery rooms, she decided it was good for Naoru to come along. Holding on to the boxes in her arms, she looked over her shoulder as they passed the hallway. She found Naoru difficult to read and she wished that he would open up to her so she would learn to understand and maybe be a bit of more help than what was going on now but she was a patient woman and everything that Narou needed or the way he handled it himself was good for her, but she would be there, worried, wondering if she did right by this.
She had not offered for him to wait outside, she had simply called up on him during the school day, stating that she needed to go to the hospital and that he as her intern should come along. He was a smart one, so even if he at first had no medical knowledge he learned a lot and she was sure that either of the three or maybe all would be able to help her with her research in the future if they wanted to. Maybe First Aid would become part of the curriculum and they would need a teacher later, that was a good idea. She gave a kind smile to Naoru, hoping to put him at ease. "The offices are on the third floor, do you want the stairs or the elevator?" She asked politely because it did not matter to her anyway, she would mostly take the elevator because she was walking with a big box and just a small woman on her green sneakers right now, looking rather modern than professional as she tried at school.
Maybe she could push a little, in a good way, asking Naoru what happened, the assumptions in her head did not make the story any better and the nurse only wondered how many more students and other quirkers might be involved in the mindset of experimenting as they did not understand quirks that well. Surely she was doing experiments as well, to be able to make the bandaid and to see if they needed other methods for quirkers with transformations and mutations to work. She remembered she saw the light under Jack's skin and the question Yojin asked in her class because of Jisatsu. The road only started for those and it was up to her to follow it to be able to provide for them what was necessary. "If you need to sit or want some air, I hope you will tell me." She finally said when she clicked on the button of the elevator. Was it the smell of antiseptics? She did no longer smell that, besides some hospitals surely got better with masking it.

Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures When Naoru was asked to join Nimue on her trip to the hospital, his initial reaction was to say no. But a moment of reasoning and inner turmoil later, he accepted to be her escort, although he was unsure what help he would be able to provide. After all, he was still only learning medicine, but he had a feeling he was not asked to accompany her for his knowledge. He supposed it was fair. After all, he will have to get over his fear sooner or later. And while they were at the hospital, he might as well visit... “Let me carry that, please.” He said while pointing at the box Nimue was holding, taking it from her if she let him do that. He wore his school uniform for the visit, as that was as much of an official garment as he could have at the moment. His Aura was a soft scarf around his neck. His usual grey contacts were abandoned, so he stood with his original red-colored irises that perfectly matched the red stigma on his face. “The elevator will be fine.” He nodded and stepped inside, as that would be much easier to reach an upper floor with, than the stairs. He was as obedient as any other time, but the hospital made his smile harder to maintain, so he decided against forcing it halfway through the hallway. Instead he kept his eyes downcast and focused on evening out his breathing to clear his mind and try not to think about where exactly he is headed. “I will, thank you for your concern.” He answered when Nimue offered he could sit down and go for some fresh air if needed. “I think I will be fine if we do not meet doctors, and do not go too deep into the wards.” The smell was most horrible there, and the general atmosphere was especially stifling in examination rooms. If he could, he would avoid those as much as possible. “What will you be doing here, sensei?” He still did not look up, eyes strained on the floor or on the box in his arms if he managed to get it from her, but he thought it was polite to at least ask. Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse As she was wondering how to approach the subject, she wanted to get a global idea why Naoru was afraid of hospitals, was it the same way as to why Jack was afraid of needles? She did not blame either of them but it would be quite helpful to figure out what to do. "Oh, sure." She said and handed them to Naoru, there were no breakable issues in there, everything that could be slightly breakable was wrapped very carefully but most of it were her writings and findings on the research that she tried to perform when she wasn't teaching and not preparing for classes. She surely had enough other things to do but this wasn't about herself, this was about the medical world and what she could do for that. She smiled at Naoru as he said the elevator was fine and she clicked the up button so the elevator would appear not too much later and she let Naoru in first, there was no one else in the elevator and with a bit of luck, no one would join them anyway. She clicked on the shiny three on the elevator and a bleep rang through the elevator. "Oh, stupid." She muttered to herself and got the card out of the pocket of her jacket and held it in front of the black little box above the numbers and the doors closed and would bring them to the third floor.
She nodded again when she rethought what Naoru had said before they entered the elevator, "I can't promise that we would not meet doctors, but they will be in their offices and meeting rooms, so not in the wards or in a surgery outfit." She was sure they would not be wearing the white jackets and the green scrubs so that would help probably, it was a different side of the hospital that she was sure of that Naoru would not have seen before. The elevator ride did not take too long but before they left it, Naoru asked what she was doing here and she smiled at him, even if he wasn't looking. She thought he would be aware of it anyway.
"Oh, I do research for the hospital, they do some themselves as well but I find it very important to start at the beginning, I made a bandage and band-aid that works for the mutant students, so they don't have to be treated as animals when it comes to wounds, no shaving and so on." She smiled proudly, "I have a lot of meetings when it comes to discussing that and how to discover it, but I am working on completing it full circle, we need new items for the medical department in the world that could make it easier for people with mutations that give them other than human skin." She looked at Naoru, she did not want to say it in a wrong way that she would offend anyone, she surely hoped she had not done that with Jisatsu either and she made the steps towards the hallway on the third floor and invited Naoru to walk with her and to one of the offices.

Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures He absently stared at the card Nimue took out to use in the elevator, ignoring the little remark about how she forgot to use it in the first place. They must be going to a separate floor that was not accessible to patients and visitors normally, which, to him, made a lot of sense. He adjusted his hold on the box and leaned his back against the railing of the elevator so not to lose his balance in case it came to a sudden halt. The Aura around his neck was swaying slightly, but he kept his gaze on the box, only occasionally glancing up at Nimue as they talked. “That will be fine.” Probably, he added mentally. Maybe if he thought that the people here are not actually doctors, he will be okay, although the general atmosphere was still unnerving. He could hear her smile in her voice even when he did not look at her directly. As Nimue mentioned her research, he managed to look up at her in wonder. Being a kind of mutation himself, he could appreciate that she was thinking about them and experimenting with possible solutions. “That is...” he was searching for the words when she talked about what exactly it entailed, “...really kind of you. I am relatively normal-looking compared to other mutants, so I do not know what hardships they have, but I am sure they will also appreciate the work you are doing.” He glanced at his left arm that was for now covered up with a full-arm glove for the visit to hide it. “Can I ask how exactly those band-aids and bandages work, or is it classified information?” He was curious, really, especially since he might have to work with such equipment in the future, but considering the research, it might not be in the stage for Nimue to reveal too much about it yet. He took no offense to her words, especially because she talked in such a careful and considerate way, there was no way he would be hurt by anything she said. He knew she always had the students and the people’s best interest in mind. It also made him wonder if he would be able to do some kind of research as well, if he would be able to help out the masses with his findings like she does. But that would mean he would have to work among doctors, with doctors, and the mere thought made him pale and shiver. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She knew Naoru wasn't stupid, she obviously had asked him specifically to help her with going to the hospital. She hoped that casually going there during his internship to the third floor that only held the offices and meeting rooms for outside consultations would have a better influence on him. Not immediately linking the hospital to surgeries and so on. She wondered if she should bring him to the maternity ward, how good was he with children? Because Hanako was here and they could check upon her and Kai, just a ten minute visit maybe? She would see how it all went and goes but that was now a more positive space either. Albeit Hanako might still be working on that depression so maybe that did not work. She took a deep breath and tried to focus on the here and now, on Naoru. She would look at him shortly but she had only learned that the most expressive way would be the scarf that was his aura, depending on how jump it was at the end, but right now it seemed to be doing fine. Probably because nothing was really happening as they stood in the elevator. As she thought before, she wanted to ask Naoru what he got his fear for hospitals for but again she refrained from doing so for now. He would come and tell her whenever he was ready and whenever he wanted, that was her strategy for now or maybe simply when they got out of the hospital depending on how it would go.
She looked up with a questionable look in her eyes, but a kind smile still on her face when she kept on talking and talking about her research for the rest of the trip to the third floor, once she arrived there, she would first finish her conversation with Naoru before continuing as she wanted to offer him that respect of being her conversation partner before going to the right office. "I really hope they do, albeit it's just to make things easier for everyone." Well everyone them and not make it an embarrassing thing at the doctor's office, she was really afraid people simply would not show up only because they were afraid of the humiliation at doctor's offices. As she wanted to take a few steps towards the office where she had the sort of appointment, it wasn't a directed time frame, she stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Even if it was, I would tell you." She said with a wink, "You are my intern after all but it's not. Follow me." She went to the place where she had to be, knocked on the door and opened it to look at another woman who sat behind her desk, "Good to see you Kiyoshi, this is my intern Kehai Naoru, do you have the samples here, I want to show him about the research." The woman, albeit as petite as Nimue, looked more chinese and she nodded enthusiastic, introduced herself as Kiyoshi Lin and stood up to open a cabinet and gave the file to Nimue who placed it on the side of the desk where she stood. "Here you see," The bandaid that was there was green and in a see-through file. "It works in a way that the system, specifically made for fur in this case, attaches to the hairs in a painless way, with a bit of rubbing and water you can get it off later., so it will not need any shaving." She took a few more pages down in the file and turned to the bandage, "This one shows the inside of the bandage, the starting point so to say, that covers the wound, to sort of make an little cave, sort of space for the wound to protect it, so no fur or feathers can come within, while the rest of the bandage works the same. I only haven't figured out yet how to do that with bigger wounds, but I hope that idea will come to me at some point." By pulling in Naoru in the conversation, she hoped that she did divert the attention away from Kiyoshi, but now that she sat back at her desk, the woman offered the two of them some drinks, in this case, Nimue decided to be polite and thoughtful of Naoru, "Oh no, thank you, we only came by shortly. I have the other files here, trying to help for the issue with scales and needles." She said and pointed at the box that she had given Naoru to carry, if Naoru put it down or offered it to the doctor, Kiyoshi would take it, asking if they had any further questions and if Naoru was interested in the medical aspects of the hero jobs.
