“Your friends?” The red headed girl would ask curiously, raising an eyebrow as Kenshin seemed to be here to protect G specifically. He was awfully young to be friends with her dad… he didn’t seem to be much older than her if he was… If he was a vigilante and part of her dad’s group then she’s find herself to be mildly annoyed. So it wasn’t okay for her to be a Vigilante, but he’d let this kid? Come on… no need to jump to conclusions. Seemed he wanted to kick more criminal butt with her which made the girl smile a bit, though she shook her head, she couldn’t make a regular occurence of this…
“Not likely for some time. You know, you should get your Hero license instead of this, you wouldn’t have to run away from the cops when they arrive and get to kick villain ass any time of day.” Sirens in the distance meant the cops were getting close, and that meant not only did Kenshin have to go, but she should probably take her mask off and head inside now as well. Without the mask, she doubted anyone would recognize her as anyone more than G’s daughter coming for another visit.
She didn’t give Kenshin her name, or even an alias to cover herself up. She just let that topic drop just as she suddenly had too when Kenshin yelled at her to duck. Her body immediately tensed up, her hands flying up to her head as she ducked down. Not that she needed too, as Kenshin suddenly vanished from out in front of her and re-appeared behind her, taking the drill bullet for her.
“This guy…” She growled, peering around the now armored Kenshin to the drill guy who was thankfully still bound by her mask. She stood back up, ready to spring back into action but thankfully Kenshin was still faster, smacking the blunt end of his sword against the guys head. Haruuhi watched as the man crumpled back onto the ground and let out a sigh of relief when Kenshin asked her if she was alright.
“Yeah, I’m alright. Change back, come with me.” She stated suddenly. She could see the lights of the approaching police car which meant that the two were out of time. With one hand she would take Kenshins in her own and pull him towards the Hospital, and with the other she pulled off the visor that was covering her eyes, holding it then stuffing it into her coat pocket. Kenshin might recognize her from the rescue mission back in December, but it had been quite a while so then again, he might not.

Kenshin raised an eyebrow upon seeing the girl ask about his friends and raising her own eyebrow. Well he could not just talk about G, Miku, and Hanako to just anyone. Unless this girl somehow knew them. But what were the odds of that being the case? (Again, the irony) "Aw, that's sad to hear." It was a shame that the masked girl seemed to see this as more or less a one-time thing. He would not have minded fighting with her again. Maybe even let her join the Storm Knights. He was sure that G would be cool with having this masked girl on board. But then she essentially scolded him, saying that he should get a hero license instead. Ah shit, here we go again. This argument of heroism versus vigilantism. Kenshin was tired of not being able to definitively make a choice regarding the matter. The goal was ultimately the same either way: Protecting the innocents and stopping criminal scum. But it was not as simple as just leaving his vigilante life behind him and going to UA. There were some benefits to remaining a vigilante, such as not needing to worry about rules and regulations when it came to helping people, or having to wait three years just to be able to do what he was already doing but without having to worry about the law breathing down his neck for it. But sadly, there was no time to dwell on those thoughts again. After making sure that the girl was safe from drill guy's failed attempt at an assassination, Kenshin heard the sounds of a police siren. With the sound getting gradually louder, it was clear that the police would be arriving soon. Fortunately, that meant that even if the two thugs were conscious (which they were not), they would not be able to get very far before they got caught. It was safe to say that the two were done. Unfortunately, this meant that Kenshin needed to get out now. Haruuhi was already on the move, grabbing Kenshin's hand and telling the boy to change back now. With a nod, Kenshin pressed on the emblem on his chest, making his armor disappear and fade away. Once the two were inside the hospital, Kenshin could relax a bit. Shit, that was a bit too close for comfort. He then noticed that the girl no longer had her visor on, and he could see her face. Kenshin did not recognize Haruuhi at first, since it had indeed been a long while since that fateful day. But something about her nagged at him. Why did she feel ...familiar? "Have we met before?" Kenshin's voice was quiet, as while the two had gone inside the hospital before the police got there, it was not necessarily safe just yet. "I don't know why, but I have a feeling that I know you from somewhere." The boy kept thinking back, wondering just why her face seemed so familiar. The fact that Haruuhi had not revealed her name to Kenshin or even gave him an alias earlier was something that the boy almost forgot about considering what had happened just after, but was something he had remembered now. Just who are you?Kenshin then went back to what it was she said earlier about him getting his hero license. Was this girl a UA student? But then it clicked. "Wait, I know you." He had never met her before, at least not personally, but he had seen her before. Kenshin's thoughts went back to that fateful day. That kidnapping, where G had gone to save his... "You're Haru- uh I mean G's daughter!" Obviously Kenshin was not stupid to say this loudly. His voice was barely above a whisper. But still, this was very exciting. "I knew I knew you from somewhere! You were..." But then he just realized something. It was an incredibly idiotic idea to bring up the kidnapping. He did not want to open up old wounds. So instead, the boy frantically began to come up with something else. "...at the Sports Festival! Yeah! I watched it all on TV. You and Miku both did quite well." Yeah no, Haruuhi would probably have little to no problem seeing through his bullshit. Well shit, I guess this means I've now met the entirety of G's family. | Word count: 727

Kenshin was pretty quiet as she pulled Kenshin into the hospital, the boy pushing on his chest piece and changing back to his civilian attire almost instantly. Damn that was cool… she would have to remember that trick and see if she could apply it to her own suit in some way… s he was sure she could come up with something, and if not she could always brainstorm with the robotics club at school.
She didn’t dwell on it too long though as the two stepped through the automatic door, not stopping for a moment as they made their way down the hall. The further away they were from the scene the better, as much as she wanted to make sure those two really got arrested…
Her thoughts were interrupted however as the boy behind her asked if he had seen her somewhere. Haruuhi looked back at him, but she definitely didn’t recognize him at all and so she just shook her head before speaking up.
“No I don’t think so. I don’t usually put myself out like that to have met you before” She muttered to him so that none of the nearby staff would be able to hear her. She wasn’t going to take him to Hana’s room, that would just be stupid of her, but she did lead him towards the little coffee shop they had on the main level of the hospital. At least there they could wait things out and Kenshin could leave safely without being stopped.
As they walked towards it however, Kenshin seemed adamant that he had met the girl before, and her heart started to pound harder and harder in her chest as you could tell he was piecing her identity together, and then he spontaneously remembered her name, and stated that she was G’s daughter. She flinched when he said so, stopping in her tracks and turning to face him now instead. She had a serious look in her eyes as she looked the boy up and down.
“By the way,You never told me how you know my dad. Maybe you do know me from the sports festival, but that’s not all is it? Are you part of dad’s group?” She asked him suspiciously. She was starting to get pretty worried about this sudden coincidence… She didn’t know who to trust other than her family, so this was very unnerving for her.

It did not immediately occur to Kenshin that just because he knew G that Haruuhi would immediately find him trustworthy. Though hearing her question the boy made him want to facepalm so hard once he caught on to the fact. How could he be so stupid to not realize that until now? "Yeah." He answered while still keeping his voice low. Kenshin was not about to take any chances with potential eavesdroppers. Even if no one was listening in, talking aloud about such things was simply idiotic. "Well I guess you could say I'm one of the co-founders of that group. I actually met your dad before that." Kenshin was hesitant to mention anything regarding the Storm Knights, even the group's name. Not that he couldn't trust Haruuhi. Far from it, in fact. But he did not know just how much or how little G spoke to Haruuhi about the details of his vigilante work. The boy did not want to risk telling her something G wouldn't want the girl knowing. "Oh right, forgive me for my lack of manners. I'm Kenshin. Nice to meet you in person." If he could trust G, Hanako, and Miku, then Kenshin had no qualms with being able to trust Haruuhi with his name. "Look, I know how weird this must be, meeting some random guy you don't know who just happens to know the rest of your family. But I promise I'm not here to bother you. Once the coast is clear, I'll head out right away and leave you to go back to what you were doing before you got dragged into this mess. And I'm sorry for you having to have been involved in the first place. I just wanted to make sure those creeps didn't mess with your family." Not that he regretted fighting alongside Harruhi. That was just way too much fun! But the fact that she was put in even the slightest danger to begin with made Kenshin feel terrible. What would G say about this if or when he found out? "But speaking of those creeps..." The boy smiled. "You don't need to worry about anyone else causing trouble for you or your family. If someone is stupid enough to try, I'll just kick their ass. So you don't have to worry about the Kobayashi scumbags. Just leave it to me. You focus on being happy and doing whatever it is you do at UA." That kidnapping from all those months ago was already terrible enough. Kenshin hoped that Haruuhi would never have to go through something like that again. But that was why Kenshin fought crime to begin with. To stop that kind of crap from happening to anyone when the police and pro-heroes were nowhere to be seen. He just needed to get stronger. Kenshin looked over to the coffee shop. Perhaps he could buy a thing or two to take with him on his way back home. But before that, he turned to Haruuhi. "Hey, do you want me to buy you anything? It's the least I can do." | Word count: 515

'A co founder of the Storm Knights? that's hard to believe, he doesn't look to be that much older than me... and dad's never spoken about him that i can remember. The most he's mentioned is Yuri...' She thought to herself suspiciously. It must have been apparent in her face that she had her doubts as Kenshin answered them right away, stating that he would be out of here the minute the coast was clear. he was a nice enough guy, introducing himself properly finally... but why did she feel so unsettled? She didn't feel threatened, but there was... something, some kind of connection. The only thing she could think of, was that he was there that day. She must have heard his voice then, and that's why she felt so uneasy.
She let out a light sigh as she pushed the thought to the back of her mind, shaking her head when he apologized.
"No need, I was on the roof making sure creeps like that didn't get close to my family... dad guarded me and my room when I was hospitalized last Christmas, it was the least i could do. I didn't really think anyone would try to come after him now though. Oh... and uh, my name is Haruuhi, though you probably already knew that. " She added, finally introducing herself to the boy so they wouldn't have this awkwardness between them. As the two passed the coffee shop, Kenshin would then offer to buy her something and she just nodded lightly. It would be rude to refuse right? She went along with him to the shop and ordered something sweet. A little pick me up to keep her going for the rest of the night.
"Anyways... Thank you for looking out for him. If you don't mind... don't tell him this happened okay? At least not yet. He's been really happy lately, more so than I've seen him in a while and I want him to be able to enjoy that you know? He's always looking out for me and worrying about me... I want him to be able to relax." She asked of Kenshin, quickly sitting them both down as two police officers would go running through the hall towards the location they'd just left the crooks.
