It started off as an ordinary evening. Now that he was an official Pro-Hero, Tony was eager to go out into the streets and start showing all the criminals that there was a new hero in town! And that hero's name was Wildheart! He was determined to work hard and make sure that no villain, regardless of whether they were a minor or major threat, would continue to get away with causing harm to this great country.
Although Tony had not settled with a definitive hero outfit yet, he was wearing one that was good enough for his tastes. Black tight pants and boots. No shirt, because Tony liked going out without one to show off his muscles. Still, an outfit was just an outfit. It was not as though his choice of fashion mattered. At the end of the day, what was important was being able to save people, uphold the law, and stop crime wherever it happened.
Speaking of crimes, Tony heard some news on his police radio. Apparently, there was a local gang causing trouble. At first, it was nothing major. But it had quickly begun to escalate, with the gangsters taking out weapons, hurting innocent civilians, and trying to rob nearby stores and shops. "Maldición" Tony muttered under his breath. Crime never rested, it seemed. Well unfortunately for that gang, neither did he!
Tony began to speak on the radio. "This is Wildheart. I'm not far from the area. I'm on my way there. Are there any other heroes in the area?" Tony figured that although Centaurion would probably be enough to suffice, it would be good to check if there were any potential allies to work with. Two heroes were better than one, after all! But either way, it was time to get moving! It was time to use his quirk.
¡Despiertate!
Upon concentrating and calling his beast to awaken, Tony summoned the red sphere in front of him. The sphere then expanded, forming into the familiar white beast. "Centaurion! There's a crime we need to go stop. Let us hurry!" The beast grumbled lowly. It was understandable to be summoned for that reason, but could the violet-haired man not walk there himself? Centaurion was no mere mule! "Fine, hop on. Centaurion take you there. Then Centaurion SMASH! Then Tony get some steak for Centaurion." Tony chuckled. "Very well, amigo. I'll buy you the finest steak! But only if you perform admirably. Now there's no time to waste. ¡Vamonos!"
Getting on the back of the beast, the two began to hurry towards their destination. Hopefully, they would meet up with another pro in the area.

A fair distance from UA high Mia was used to working alone in the big city. Not that there weren’t other heroes now and then but she tended to be one of the most mobile thanks to the efforts she’d put into learning the layout of the city and the limitations of the leaps she could make across the many tall buildings that made up it’s skyline. And even then, while the UA teachers certainly did their part, this day in the week and this time of day no less, things tended to be a little more focused around the school itself. Not that Mia was gonna complain. Left a lot more for her to do, and she couldn’t help but enjoy keeping some of the glory to herself. Even she could admit she had a bit of an ego after all and it never hurt her personally to fuel it up now and then.
On one of her daily patrols, casually walking through the streets as many pros might to remind the public of their general presence and reinforce themselves as a new part of the law enforcement structure, the small earpiece Mia wore when out on the job beeped softly as it picked up an escalating situation on the police radios. Right from the start, it had Mia’s attention. No crime was too small afterall, but the more risk that seemed to come from the situation the faster she started to move. Some hefty work into her leg muscles lately really had her going once she hit her stride, and with a hard bound off the road when she saw a big enough gap in the traffic, she was making her way to the rooftops and rushing towards the scene as fast as she could.
As she continued to bound across the rooftops, a few hefty strides between each leap helping her maintain some decent speed and momentum, Mia heard the call of another hero in the area cutting into her ear piece’s constant feed of the radio. Sounded like a new voice, *Definitely* didn’t sound Japanese. A hero visiting from abroad? A new recruit maybe? Heck knowing herself maybe just someone she’d somehow managed to let fall under her radar. Whatever the case, bottom line was it was rare for her to catch another hero on her scenes, but she wasn’t the kind to turn down aid just for her own sake. As big as her Ego was, she wasn’t an idiot about it.
“Red Horn reporting in! Moving to the scene now! Can’t say I’ve caught a ‘wildheart’ before! Any visual cues so I don’t take you for a bad guy!?” She didn’t mean to yell but when you were pumping up your adrenaline and trying to be heard over the roaring streets and the wind whipping past you it was almost a necessity. As for her question she hoped Wildheart would make it clear what they looked like, or even just some base idea of what their quirk was so Mia didn’t end up dropping on them instead. The sirens were already starting to make themselves known in the distance so it’d be good knowing how to tell friend from foe sooner rather than later.
Assuming Wildheart gave some way of picking him out of the chaos, Mia gave a hefty kick off her next foothold and continued to soar towards the scene. “Gotcha! I’m the woman with the big red horn if it weren’t obvious! Hahahaa! It’ll be good to work with ya mate! I’m coming in from the south, what’s your situation? Coming in on foot or by the sky?”

Upon hearing the name Red Horn, Tony began to smile. Of course he learned the names of his fellow pro-heroes, seeing as he was among them and wished to assist them as much as he could. Naturally he knew all about Red Horn. Getting to work alongside her would be such an honor. Perhaps he could one day hang out and chill with the heroine if he was lucky enough. A sparring match with her sounded like a very fun time. But that was a thought for another time. Right now, it was time to fulfill his duty as a hero.
"Right. I'll be the shirtless muscular guy with the long violet hair and three dark horns." Fortunately, Tony doubted that there would be anyone with an appearance similar to his. He did like to be distinct in any situation that did not require stealth. And Red Horn was also a very distinct person in appearance. There would be no trouble in that regard. "I'm approaching the area from the east. Should be there soon. If you see a large white centaur-like beast galloping its way to the location, that's my quirk."
Speaking of galloping, Centaurion was moving as quickly as its legs and hooves would allow. It stuck to the roads so as to avoid running at any civilians. Just to be safe, it periodically let out some roars to let anyone ahead know that it was coming so that they would know to get out of the way.
The two arrived at the scene with no issues. Normally, Tony would wait for Red Horn so that the two could discuss a strategy of some sort before jumping into action. Unfortunately, that proved to be impossible now. Just as Centaurion arrived at the scene with Tony riding on its back, there were already several thugs heading right for him. Of course, those were the ones who were not just shaking in fear upon seeing the tall menacing beast growling and glaring at them.
"The hell is that thing?"
With a leap, Centaurion sprung into action. Seeing as the thugs were armed with things such as bats, pipes, and crowbars, the immediate goal was to rid these thugs of their weapons. Letting out a roar, the beast rushed in and tackled the small group of thugs, knocking most of them to the floor. The ones that tried to fight back with their weapons would quickly find themselves being punched by the beast.
Naturally, Tony was not about to just let Centaurion do all the work. Hopping off the beast's back, Tony ran at and tackled one of the scared thugs who tried fleeing from the beast. "Going somewhere?" Once the thug was on the floor, Tony leaned on the guy's back to pin him down so that he could not get away and avoid being cuffed. Once the thug was sufficiently restrained and cuffed, Tony got off of him and looked toward his beast. "¡Escuchen! Once you knock them out, send them my way so I can cuff them." The beast nodded. "Right!" Tony then looked at the thugs in the immediate vicinity. "And as for the rest of you, you have two options. Stop now and surrender willingly, or be taken down and forced to surrender. What will it be, muchachos?"
Sadly, it seemed that these thugs refused to listen to reason. Picking up their weapons, they charged towards Centaurion and Tony. The violet-haired man just shook his head. "Idiotas. Well, you were given fair warning." And as if one pro-hero wasn't bad enough for these thugs, then they would also have Mia to deal with once she arrived, assuming she wasn't already there.

"Horns huh? Looks like the law breakers got a two for one on us lot today!~" She cheekily commented, trying to make a joke on the fact they both seemed to have horns, but all the same she focused on the path ahead. As easy as it might seem there was a lot of forefought involved in taking leaps of this size. The further you went the more you had to focus on your accuracy, and even then it was a constant game of judgemt trying to ensure she didn't land on any rooftops that looked especially weak. All the same she could still throw in a quip here or there. "Still, that's quite the look you got going on by the sounds of things! I'm sure I'll be able to pick you out no problem. I'll keep an eye out for this quirk of yours too-!" She let out a soft grunt as she bounded off the edge of another towering building. "Transformation or summon!?" She'd call out, again, in no way intending to yell, but getting close to the scene she was getting herself fired up ad ready to go more and more by the second.
With the scene getting closer, the sirens of the police already trying to handle the situation became clearer and clearer, acting like a beacon towards the action for Mia herself and allowing her to find the place with ease. She was just a moment or so behind Wildheart, and as she came onto the scene she decided to hold back as she got a good look on things. It would be good to get an idea of just how much help Wildheart needed. As big as her ego was, she was never one to steal glory from others, and in this case she was making sure how much she could throw into this whole thing without overshadowing someone who was, effectively, her co-worker. Watching this beast of his rush into the scene it clearly had some power behind it, and Mia wasn't surprised that her first thought was 'yeah, I could take that thing~'.
All the same, the scene could definitely use another pair of hands, and she began to back up from the edge of her perch, taking a few steps back to really get the space to build up speed again, before charging out at full force and leaping with all the strength in her legs to launch across the street and into the scene at hand. As Centaurion faced the goons head on, Mia's jump had her landing beind them, a hefty amount of force thrown into her heels as she impacted with the tarmac of the street, the ground cracking beneath her as she landed with enough force to shake a few of the goons around her off balance, her body whirling around slowly, the red, deep eyes of a battle hungry monster, and the wild white fanged grin to match.
"Hope you don't mind me dropping by Wildheart!" She grinned ever wider as one of the goons quickly dropped his weapon on red horns arrival. One new hero on the scene was scary enough for him. Adding Red Horn to the mix seemed to be one too many for him to handle. She scoffed as she let her eyes follow his escape, slapping down a heel into a sewer cover beneath her foot, the metal disc flipping up, caught, and thrown like a frizebee, sweeping under the legs of him as he escaped and forcing him to fall with such momentum and sudden-ness that it seemed to knock him out, Mia taking a brief moment to pump her fist. "HELL YEAH! SCORE!"
Her self congratulations couldn't last too long however, and between an Oni and a Lionel, the goons now seemed pretty trapped, Mia slamming her fist into her other palm and cracking her knuckles loudly and with almost eerily prominent echos across the street. "Well guys. You're about to learn how much Crime makes you pay. Anyone willing to go first...?~" She lowered down her stance into a more ready position, almost seeming to lick her lips in anticipation of what was to come.

Before getting the chance to respond on the police radio, a thug tried to swing at him with a crowbar. Tony sighed as he moved aside and dodged the swing. "¡Qué grosero! Can't you see I'm in the middle of something here?" A punch to the gut was enough to send the guy down. Having dropped his crowbar, cuffing the guy was quick and simple. A couple more showed up. It seemed like there was no end to them! Not that Tony cared. Whether it was one or one hundred, he was determined to take all of these lawless gangsters down.
After punching a guy, tossing another into a group of thugs, and cuffing them all, Tony looked around to see how Centaurion was doing. To his delight, his beast was doing an even better job with taking them down. The gangsters stood virtually no chance against the mighty beast. Any thugs trying to fight Centaurion would soon find themselves being beaten, taken down, tossed towards Tony, and cuffed by him. And the ones who did decide to start running away would become terrified at the fact that the beast had no trouble catching up to them and subduing them too.
And as a final nail in the coffin for the troublemakers, Red Horn had arrived, dropping in to let the gang members know just how screwed they were. If things looked bad for them before, they were all essentially screwed now. One of the goons realized this and tried to make a run for it. But of course Red Horn would not have any of that. Grabbing a sewer cover, she literally threw it like a frisbee, making the guy trip and fall down. Tony could not help but be impressed. "¡Increíble!"
Despite knowing that they stood no chance against either hero, let alone both of them together, the remaining thugs insisted on fighting to the very end. Tony could not help but be impressed with their determination to not give up. Still, their struggle was useless. It did not take long for the heroes to finish taking down the remaining thugs here. And then right on cue, the police had finally arrived to apprehend and arrest the cuffed and fallen thugs. One of the officers could not help but salute the two heroes. "Excellent job, you two!"
And with that, this area was secure. It was time to move on to the next area. According to the police reports, the gang had split into two groups. With the first group easily taken care of, it was time to head up a few streets north to take care of the other group. Tony was feeling confident. If the second group was anything like the first, then order would be restored in no time!
"That was pretty impressive back there, Red Horn! Fighting alongside you is a great honor and pleasure. I look forward to seeing more of you in action." Sadly, now was not the time for a conversation, so Tony would leave it there for now and focus on going to the next area as quickly as he could. Tony hopped on Centaurion, riding on the beast to get there faster. If Mia decided to hitch a ride on the beast, then Centaurion had no problem with that. Otherwise, it was time to head up a few streets and enter the plaza filled to the brim with armed thugs.
Many of the stores in the small plaza were smashed up, robbed, and empty. Most of the civilians had cleared the area and ran away from the troublemakers. However, not everyone there was fortunate. A few of them were hiding in the now empty stores, some were on the ground unconscious from the beatings the thugs gave them, and there were some still trying to defend themselves from the gangsters. These ones did not look like they could hold out for much longer.
Fortunately for the civilians and unfortunately for the armed gangsters, the two pro-heroes were closing in on them, ready to finally end the madness.

Mia smirked wide as she heard a chime of approval from the fellow pro hero working the scene, but with goons like this to handle she didn’t have too much time to properly introduce herself, winding back her arm as the muscles continued to bulk up in her demonic form, letting out a bellowing roar to help throw some intimidation into the goons before rushing towards them, having recently learned how to put her leg muscles to more use than just jumping, and rushing towards them with speed they wouldn’t expect such a large woman to have. She reared her fist back, and with a hard slam into the ground beside them, so as not to just punch straight through them, she shook the ground with enough force to send them all off balance.
From there, it was child’s play.
Before long the first scene had indeed been wrapped up and Mia was more than eager to get onto the second. As she went to regroup with her fellow hero, Mia was a little more than surprised, not just that the cops had something nice to say (she supposed every once in a while she did get one who didn’t hate her for the public damage she tended to cause) but also that the fellow hero said it wasn’t just a pleasure, but an honour to work with her…”Hhehe…what?” She asked, just a little bit stunned by the choice of words. Mia’s experience of the other heroes hadn’t been….well, positive, to put it bluntly. She respected the work they did and even worked alongside Army of One. Issue was whenever she tried to talk to the other pro heroes in the chat room they had…it was very clear they took this a lot more seriously than she admittedly did. “Er…no need for it to be an honour mate. Just one Pro helping out another.” She would have taken the opportunity to break bread and get to know the guy, but with another scene to get to, he had the right idea in mounting his centaur lion…thing.
“Right, lead the way!” Mia started to jog behind the creature, easily able to keep up, and if she started jumping, she could probably outpace it, but she decided to hold back behind the front line on this one, not wanting to steal the new guys thunder too much by racing ahead of him. As they arrived on the scene, the issue between the bad guys and the good guys seemed close to dire however, and Mia started to rush ahead, running up infront of the civilians that were ducking behind a car, her hands digging low into the ground and hooking under a layer of tarmac, the veins across her arms bulging slightly as she slowly ripped the layer of the earth up and curved it into a higher, more reliable barrier, beckoning the civilians over. Mia didn’t seem to notice she’d taken a few bullets across her right shoulder and a shot to her abs as she beckoned them over. “You guys okay?”
The civilians were shaken but seemed okay, Mia glancing to wildheart as he caught up, gesturing for him to come over since the goons were a bit more prepared for the heroes this time. “Hey big guy, little guy-“ She said, looking to the centaur monster and it’s summoner in turn. “Got a plan here? May not be obvious but I don’t tend to be the brains of an operation. Hehehe!~”

As Centaurion galloped to the next area as quickly as it could, it was surprised to see that the horned heroine had no problem keeping up with the beast. Tony was surprised as well, not to mention impressed. Being this fast, and for all he knew, she might even be able to move faster. Perhaps they could have a race of sorts some other time when there were no crimes needed to be stopped.
To say that things were looking bad was an understatement. Fortunately, the two had not arrived too late to the point where there were any casualties to worry about. Unfortunately, these thugs were not like the ones from before in the sense that these guys had guns and were not afraid to use them. Upon seeing the pro-heroes arriving, some of the thugs began to fire. The first couple of shots missed, but then a few hit Mia as she lifted up a piece of the ground to form a barrier. Not that any of the bullets did anything to stop her. As Centaurion galloped behind the barrier to join up with Mia, it growled as it felt some bullets hit its left shoulder. Of course, that meant that Tony got a similar wound on his left shoulder. Though with how durable the beast was, it was for the best that it took the shots rather than Tony. Still, that did not stop it from stinging quite a bit. ¡Coño!
Alright, with the barrier giving the heroes cover, it was time to think of a plan. Hopefully, Mia would have an excellent strategy to get them out of this... well shit, never mind. It seemed that the two had something in common. "Sorry to say this señorita, but I'm usually not the brains of the operation either. But we shall think of something. Something to ensure that no one else suffers any injuries while we take these thugs out. The ones with guns should be taken out first, that I know. But how to grab their attention while avoiding gunfire?"
Meanwhile, the beast resisted the urge to roll its eyes. Humans sometimes had the bad habit of overthinking things. Sometimes the solution was simple. Just SMASH the problem until it went away! Not wishing to remain silent, the beast grunted its idea aloud. "Use me as bait. While they're distracted by me, you two SMASH them and take their guns. I divert their attention so no civilian gets hurt in crossfire." Tony thought about it. "A bit reckless, but at this point, what other options do we have?"
So that was the plan. But before executing the plan, Tony wanted to check with Mia to see if there was any input she wanted to add. No need to go charging in if there were more options, after all.

Mia was a little short on options here. Protecting the civilians and taking down the bad guys was always a balancing act and right now they were leaning a little heavily on one side. Not the wrong side by any means, but they had to even things out somehow or they’d be stuck on the defense, and as big as Mia’s ego was she wasn’t gonna risk civilians for glory. She peeked out the edge of the make shift cover she’d made, humming to herself in thought before looking back to the hero she was working with, listening to his summoned creature and their idea to be used as bait, and while not a plan Mia was too keen on, given this thing seemed pretty intelligent and she didn’t want it getting shot to bits, she supposed it’d work…
“Right, I got a little plan of my own, but you distracting them will leave them wide open for it. Just make sure you don’t get two far out there okay? What I’m gonna do has a bit of a..blast radius, to say the least, so just cover your ass, stay safe, and grab their attention. Sound like a plan?”
She looked between hero and beast, making sure everyone was on the same page, though she’d add to the actual human. “You’re sticking with me, to be clear.”

Tony and Centaurion listened to Mia's plan. It was decided then! The beast would be the bait, luring and distracting the armed thugs long enough for Mia to strike hard without them seeing it coming!
The only problem was that Centaurion could not wander too far from Tony. The beast had less than about five meters of range to work with at best, so the room it had to maneuver around was comparatively limited. Still, this would be no problem. Once Mia was ready to make her attack, Tony would call back the beast, making it vanish so it would avoid the blast radius of whatever attack Mia would unleash. Once Mia was filled in on this detail, and once everyone was ready, it was time to move out!
"SMAAAAAASH!!" Leaping out from behind the barrier, the beast lunged at the nearest gunman. "Oh shit!" The thug fired a few rounds at the beast, but with how much he was shaking in fear, all of his shots missed the beast. He screamed like a little girl as Centaurion picked him up and began spinning him around in circles. After a few revolutions, the beast threw the guy right at some gunmen who were just outside the beast's range. They were too slow to move out of the way, and got hit, being knocked to the floor and dropping their guns.
As Centaurion galloped to another nearby thug to repeat this tactic, a stray bullet grazed the beast's shoulder. Of course, a similar wound appeared on Tony's shoulder as well. He ignored the pain, as the wound was only minor. If Mia had noticed the wound appearing on Tony's shoulder, he would assure her that it was nothing to worry about. Otherwise, he would just ignore it and continue to follow Mia. Fortunately, no more shots were fired from that particular thug, as once Centaurion saw that it was that guy who fired, he became the beast's next target. Grabbing and tossing a different thug to the gunman, Centaurion growled triumphantly upon seeing the criminal who had fired at it get knocked down.
For the crooks that weren't knocked down by their own allies, it was safe to say that the beast was proving to be more than capable of distracting them. Now was the perfect time for Mia and Tony to take action. Once the heroes made their move, the thugs would not be able to see it coming, let alone do anything to try to stop them.

Seeing Antonio and Centaurion play into her little plan, Mia grit her teeth and ushered some of the civilians to safety as she was about to get rid of their cover. She could hear the mighty beast creating a bit of chaos on the other side, but as she prepped herself to initiate her plan, it didn't miss her attention that Tony didn't seem to be immune to the damage he companion recieved. "I dunno what connection you two have...but when I yell now, you call him back, get him to rush to the side, make him dissapear. Again, dunno how it works...but get him out of the way, or you're gonna be fucked to say the least..."
She lined up her shot with one hand, palm open, out infront of her. Her thumb level with the horizon even if she couldn't see it. She reared back her other fist, and flecks of red appeared around her knuckles. It was brief, but the tension flowing through her arm brought her muscle mass towards it's limit, even if the red faded before Mia actually threw her arm forward. With the shot lined up, she yelled out.
"NOW!"
She paused for just the most minor of moments to allow them to get centaurion out of the way. After which Mia let the cover wall she'd created have it. With a bellowing roar that cut across the whole street and somehow seemed to hold an echo to it, she threw her fist through the uprooted tarmac and watched as the whole thing shattered into a shotgun blast of debri, firing across the road and cutting through all the goons and their guns. It was a blind attack, but with the amount of shrapnel that fueled her shotgun blast of an attack, most, if not all the goons were knocked off their feet, heavily winded, and gripping their wounds with a hiss behind their teeth.
"HAH! TAKE THAT!"

Once the civilians were safely out of harm's way, it was time to put Mia's plan into action. As soon as she was ready to fire her shot, Tony yelled out to the beast. "¡Regreso!" Now it was rather fortunate that the thugs did not understand Spanish, because then they would have known that something was about to come, and thus they would know to either brace for impact or get the hell out of the way. But the important thing was that they did not know, and thus were heavily confused by what the hell that word meant.
But unlike them, Centaurion knew exactly what Tony meant. It was a shame that the two did not share a telepathic link when the beast was brought out. That way, Tony would not have to speak at all and not run the risk of alerting the thugs what he and Mia were up to. Still, it was important for the beast to get the message. With a simple nod, Centaurion returned to Tony, turning back into the red sphere and then fading away. And the instant this was done? Mia no longer had to worry about Tony being caught in the crossfire of her attack.
It was over pretty much instantaneously. With a single punch, Mia absolutely wrecked the raised tarmac, shot the debris straight into every single thug, and took them all out in one shot. With how unexpected the attack was, there really was not much the thugs could do against it. "¡Increíble!" Tony stood there amazed by just how strong Mia was.
"Ughh..." One of the thugs groaned as he tried to move towards his gun on the ground. But just as he was about to reach it, Tony had gone over there and pinned the thug down. "I don't think so." Cuffing the guy, Tony then began to go around to every fallen thug to cuff and restrain them. He also brought Centaurion back out to both assist him with this task and to stop anyone stupid enough to try to make a run for it. Not that there were many who would think to attempt something so foolish and futile. They all knew that they were screwed.
And in very little time, every single thug was rounded up, stripped of their weapons, restrained, and left in a corner to be taken away by the police once they arrived. Tony was satisfied. The chaos had ended, the police were notified and were on the way, the culprits were to be taken away, there were no major injuries, and the ambulances were on the way to help out anyone who did get injured amidst the chaos. Everyone was okay. All was well, thanks to the combined efforts of Red Horn and Wildheart.
"Excellent work, Red Horn!" Tony was pleased to have been able to assist such a strong hero. With heroes like her around, there was not much to worry about. Perhaps someday, he would be just as powerful. That way, he could ensure the safety of the people and make villains think twice before causing trouble.

Mia vaguely recognized the Spanish herself but mostly from the inclination … inden … the sound of the words. That thing. But also because for a while during Mia’s vigilante years her sister had been going through an experimental phase in colledge where they took a bunch of extra lessons to try and seem cultured. At one point even taking Spanish so Mia had picked up the bare minimum from her second hand. Hah. She still loved to poke fun at her for that phase.
Back in the zone though, thanks to her comrade’s quick thinking in calling back his beast in Spanish the two of them had managed to catch the goons off guard and leave a bunch of them whining on the floor. As her comrade pinned down one reaching for their gun, Mia spotted another trying to crawl away, just resting a foot down on the back of their ankle without much thought, catching their eye and smiling wide as they said. “Do you REALLY wanna see what happens if I put my foot down here?” He slowly shook his head, cause of course he did, and Mia took a hefty chunk of the rubble from her attack, and laid it on his back so he couldn’t move without making it super obvious.
As the police started to close in and help clean up the scene, Mia looked to her knuckles, picking out a few small pieces of tarmac that got embedded in the surface level of her knuckles. Not deep enough to bleed, but her skin was never the smoothest surface anyway, especially around her fists, so she’d hardly notice the difference once she brushed the tarmac off. As the other hero rushed over to give her a job well done, she smiled back brightly and raised up an arm where he’d probably just be able to reach if he really threw his arm up. “Ayyy! Great work from you too! Doubt even those idiots woulda let me line up that shot without your help.” She’d cross her arms over her chest and continued to hold a bright smile as she addressed her fellow her. “You gonna stick around for the civilians to get a few pictures, or you got somewhere to be?” She didn’t have any snarkiness in either option. Mia was always glad herself to put on a show for the public, but she also fully knew not everyone enjoyed that aspect of hero work, and heck, sometimes they were just too busy for it.

With the chaos quelled, the scared civilians were calming down, sighing in relief that the madness was finally over. Several of them (the ones who received no injuries at all) were beginning to head home, or go back to whatever they were doing before the gangsters caused trouble. The few that were injured were awaiting the arrival of the ambulances. All of them, however, took a moment to look at the two pro-heroes who had saved them. Some smiled and nodded, several of them expressed their gratitude, and a few even began taking pictures of the two.
Tony smiled. Seeing the civilians safe and happy. Now this was why he was happy to be a hero. While the admiration from the people and the paycheck were both nice, he was just relieved that no one received any major injuries and that things ended well. Sadly, not every day would end up like this. But that was why he and Centaurion would keep on working hard. To have as many good days as possible and keep the tragedies to a minimum.
Tony then turned to Mia and gave her a high-five as she raised her arm up. (To say that Tony was surprised that he actually had to struggle to reach her hand was an understatement, as he was used to usually being the tall one.) While he and Centaurion did well in distracting the thugs, Mia was the one who finished them off. Without her, taking on those thugs would have taken much longer. There would have been more opportunities for things to go wrong.
Upon listening to Mia's question, Tony grinned. "I have nowhere else I need to be right now, so I don't mind sticking around. What about you? Do you need to head out now, or do you want to indulge your fans?" Right on cue, several civilians approached the two heroes. Naturally, more of them approached Mia than Tony. But seeing as she was not new like he was, it made sense. An excited female who looked to be in her early twenties was the first to ask the question. "Thank you both so much! Could we take pics and get your autographs, please?" Tony replied with a smile. "Of course! I don't mind." It was a good thing he kept his pen on him at all times.
And with that, a couple of the civilians took out their phones and took pics of themselves with Tony, and Mia if she was in the mood for it (and in that case, she would get far more pics taken). Naturally, Tony could not resist being a large ham, and decided to pose and flex for a few of the images. This got a laugh out of the civilians. But Tony did not mind, as humor was good to wash away the last remnants of fear and worry. Unheard to anyone else but Tony, Centaurion, who always resided in Tony's mind when not summoned, snorted at the man's silly behavior. Showoff.
After the pics and autograph signing, the excited civilians thanked the pro-heroes once more before heading out. Smiling, Tony turned to Mia. "Ah, that was fun. I don't mind doing this again sometime. I mean the crime-fighting, but I wouldn't say no to the autographs either." It was getting late, and it was probably wise to head back home soon. "See you around, Red Horn." He would tell her to take care, but it was clear she was more than capable of doing just that.
If every pro-hero team-up is going to be like this one, then I should do this more often.
