For the most part, Farrah's thoughts during music night had been dominated by certain positive feelings: a giddiness bordering upon tipsiness, an admiration of music and culture, an appreciation of her fellow man- basic Farrah things, in other words. During the other performances, however, one little negative emotion had managed to take nip at her heels: jealousy. There were so many great bands involved in the Fourth Corner's music night! The Quartet, the familiar OD Hazard, and so on had made performances as though they belonged on stage. Farrah didn't mind being a solo act, normally, but she thought to herself what she'd give to share the stage with others who could accompany her drumming. After all, drummers didn't tend to take the stage on their own a that often; it was more of a supporting role, traditionally.
After the show, she had received a text message from her girlfriend, Angel, who had been in attendance, at least for her own act. The message stated simply that Angel was looking for other cast members to form a band and asked if she was interested, or knew anybody else who might be. Farrah was interested indeed, as well as surprised to learn of her girlfriend's musical talent (although, it was almost a foregone conclusion that a literal angel would).
A duet between the two of them would be lovely, but why stop there? Angel wanted a band, and that meant all the fixings! People had begun leaving the venue already, but they hadn't gone far yet. There was still time for Farrah to ambush one of the solo acts and sell them on the idea of joining her new band! Her blend of optimism and shamelessness assured her that nothing wrong could come of approaching a relative stranger in the dead of night and asking then to be in a band with her.
Still wearing her sunglasses despite the darkness, Farrah spun into view of Jack Orion, clasping her hands above her head and looking like either a drunkard or the world's fanciest robber. Thankfully, he may have already spotted her either during her own performance or at least in the audience during his, so the blow would be somewhat softened. He wouldn't have seen her do anything more dangerous than hit a bongo and down a half a dozen sodas tonight, so while he may feel suspicious, at least he ought not feel he was being robbed.
She cleared her throat once she ha made her entrance, then extended one hand dramatically, speaking much too loudly for this time of night. "My talented friend! Hello! Hi! I happened to see you passing by! In you I see a fledgling guitarist! In me, a fledgling percussion artist! Have you desire or see you the need, to pool our talents and together succeed?" she queried the likely confused dragon boy, giving him precious little time to dissect the meaning of her rhymes. "I know of an angel, and in her own hand, she wrote to me of a newly formed band! She wants me to join, and I'm eager to do it, but you stand to add even more to it! Why not join her and I up on the stage and find a whole new audience to engage? Bandmates and friends, both we can be, and all you need do is answer me!"
A little pushy, perhaps, but she pushed down her shades and gave him a smile to calm him. "Fear not! We are not getting together tonight! Better to do it during broad daylight. If you are interested I'll write down the place where you can join us and together, we will all match pace! Upon this road, a stairway to heaven! Success is a question, but fun is a given!" she reassured him, offering perhaps the bubbliest darkened sidewalk proposition that had ever been made.

"If You can't stand the way this place is...take yourself to higher places." Jack was surprised that his performance went as well as it did, in all honesty.
The dragon boy was obviously a newbie when it came to the music scene, with his rather mediocre guitar playing but rather good singing. However, despite that, the audience took rather well to the young upcoming musician. giving him a surprising amount of praise and support, despite his clearly still blooming guitarist skills. It made the boy feel rather giddy, like there wasn't much that could go wrong at this time of night.
He skipped along happily, only just exiting the Fourth Corner, his guitar slung over his back in it's case. He hummed another tune as he scampered along, mostly just thinking about more songs that he could practice for the future. Maybe Livin' La Vida Loca...? Or maybe-
He was immediately broken out of his thoughts by a sudden loud voice. Jack promptly screamed in surprise, and dark plasma energy surged around the boy as he suddenly flipped around to face who he thought was an enemy. He growled defensively, ready to fight off whoever would try to attack him at such a surprising time.
He then blinked questionably as he then recognized Farrah, who he admittedly only saw about once or twice in the past, including in the crowd of where he literally just was. Before he could really question what she was doing here, Farrah was already well on her way of explaining to Jack in a rather spiratic manner.
He didn't really know what to make of it all, even after she had finished her rather bubbily proposition. A band...already? Jeez, you'd think that it would at least be a couple more performances before he really got an offer like that. Frankly, though, his instincts took over for a moment, and he eyed the estatic girl warily.
"And...what should I really expect of all this? You said there was you and Angel, but is there anyone else? I'd at least appreciate a bit more information before making a decision," he said rather flatly, crossing his arms. His wings flapped a little bit, and his tail waved around in anxiety. The boy was clearly nervous, given the fact that this was very much out of the blue. He briefly remembered Angel, from the Sports Festival, but they hadn't really interacted much outside of an attempt to switch opponents, which...failed horribly.
He then sighed a little bit, trying to calm his demeanor more. The dark energy around him dissipated, and he pursed his lips. "I'm also sorry that I got a bit hostile there, but...you kinda came out of nowhere and it startled me. Sorry..."

Just as Jack was thinking about Livin Da Vida Loca, out popped someone who was, arguably, doing just that. To Jack, this extended to her sensibilities of the chemistry needed to come together and formed a band. About all the two of them shared was their status as music night performers and fellow students; beyond that, they weren't in the same social circles. Not just that, but they weren't even really acquaintances. In hindsight, she figured it might have been better to approach him about this before she left the Fourth Corner, but all she could think about at the time was the music.
That left her in an awkward spot; he wasn't eager to jump on the idea just because she'd flattered him and then presented it with a smile. "Ho ho ho! No offense taken! I can't blame you for being a bit shaken! I've been told I have a startling voice! To hold off your attack shows a hero's poise!" she complimented Jack again, tipping her cap. "Now we get down to the brass tax! You've asked for some supporting facts. The truth is, there are none to go with my appeal! I'm operating on only feel. Don't you feel like making friends? And wouldn't a band be a means to that end? The joy you feel when playing a song would be amplified with others to play along! And you're free to play solo all you want, too. But won't it be nice when others join you? For those songs that need more than just guitar! To play songs together, whatever they are!"
She approached again, and tapped on her hip-sack, from which her bongos were suspended. "This is especially true for drums, you see? You'd be doing a huge favor for me! There's only so much these skins can do on their own. My talents are better, to others, loan!" She pulled out her phone and showed Jack the message she'd received from Angel, asking her if she knew anyone good for the band. "My girlfriend, Angel, likes to sing! And if the two of us our talents bring, our numbers increase at least to three! And she says there's another, unknown to me! That makes four, and that's peachy!"
Farrah optimistically hoped that Jack, like her, had been craving the wider range of sound that only a full band performance could provide. The more he talked to her, the more he'd realize that she didn't have an ill-willed or deceitful bone in her body, but the more he'd doubt whether there was anything other than sunshine and lollipops bouncing around in her noggin. "Just one morning, to test out the waters! Then you'll know if joining is something you oughta!"

Jack remained rather poker-faced as Farrah went on to accept his apology for becoming shaken. Though, he did raise an eyebrow as she then exclaimed that she had been told she had a rather startling voice. That's an understatement... he thought, his heart still racing a little bit from her initial reveal. Farrah then went on to explain that she didn't really have that many answers to his question, which didn't really sit too well with the dragon boy. She attempted to make the idea of making new friends and experiences rather appealing, though only really half succeeded with the attempt. He didn't really know if it was just the area or the fact that she had scared the crap out of him, but he couldn't help but take her claims with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, he would let her continue, though he retained his stoic demeanor.
She then started to get closer, which only really made Jack step back a little bit. It was nothing particularly personal, he was just feeling a little cornered by the girl's rather...energetic nature. She explained that it was likely better to play songs with more than just one person, for the songs that had more than just that. He cocked his head just a little. She had a point, he supposed, though he didn't really let it show, as he would let her continue.
She once more brought up Angel, showing him the text that she had received of her asking if she knew of anyone who could be good for the band. She then mentioned that Angel herself knew of a mystery person, which just made Jack more apprehensive towards the idea. He preferred to know what he was getting himself into before jumping into any big decisions like this, and she really wasn't giving him much room to operate for responses.
The energetic girl then attempted to plea with Jack, asking for only one morning, to test out the waters. He crossed his arms a little bit, looking uncertain. He exhaled through his nose a little, looking at Farrah questionably. "Y'know, in most cases, this would seem a bit suspicious. A random band offer in the middle of the night outside of a bar? Sounds like a sketchy drug deal, or something," he said, smirking just a little at that last part, showing a bit of humor towards the girl.
He ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back so that it didn't hang in his face. "Fine, one morning. Hopefully it'll be under much less dark of an atmosphere." He stepped forward towards Farrah, he hand extended. He still looked wary of her, though, so any sudden movements would likely make the boy flinch and back away.

Common sense ought to tell anyone hoping to scout band members that popping out of the shadows and singing at strangers was the wrong way to get them interested in the band you were representing. Farrah was slowly being forced to come to terms with the fact, as Jack rightly pointed out that she seemed more like some villain attempting to sell him drugs, perhaps using street slang code words, than an honest student trying to get him into a fun band.
The poetess placed one hand against her breast and the other at her forehead, slinging her head back dramatically. "Oh no, my friend! Perish the thought! This isn't an offer where drugs are bought! Life and poetry are my only highs! Higher than any drugs you'd buy! So come experience them with me! Test the waters! Come on, it's free!" she continued to urge him, dancing back and forth as she did.
Finally, Jack begrudgingly accepted; Farrah clapped her hands, then spread them wide. "Excellent, my snow-haired chum! My friends will be glad you've come! And don't worry- there will be no darkness there. When I'm around, it's a sunny affair!" she reassured him, though this sales pitch was more of a crazy affair than a sunny one. She sprang forward on one foot, raised her arm into the air like she was going for a karate chop, then stared awkwardly as he preemptively backed away, as any rational person would.
She coughed into one fist, crossed one arm behind her back, and, with stately poise, offered the hand again to accept his shake, this time in an aggressively normal way. "Rest well tonight! For soon you'll see... my predictions will prove themselves positively!" the girl in black laughed once more, before releasing the shake. After confirming the location once more, she spun a few times on her heels, then danced off into the night.
