Loud thundering and heavy rain was currently present and the time of day was just at the struck of midnight. To be fair, Aegon had no business leaving his one person small apartment and heading out to get a late night drink at this time of the night and its weather conditions. However, depression had struck him like it does anyone at any given time. He was tired of slopping around and sitting in idle at his apartment complex doing nothing at all. Aside from the entertainment of roaches crawling all around the place, there was no use in just sitting there and doing nothing. The rent was due at the end of the month and he needed the money in order to live yet another day in the apartment. 

After taking his somewhat tattered umbrella and using it to cover himself from the rain which really didn't aid in much protection, he eventually found himself entering the shady establishment that had shady characters of all types. The wood floors were now soaked with his massive feet, heck not even a carpet in the front entrance in order to dry it off. What kind of an establishment were they running? oh right.. This wasn't Aegon's first time at this bar, this was his? 100th or so time at the place. The employees knew him as much as the locals that always visited the place just like he did. Heck, the only reason he even goes to this bar is the discounted liquor that he can get here during the span of one hour. Two dollars per shot, who can complain about that? 

Aegon made his way to the front of the bar and placing his umbrella next to him and leaning it against the counter. The slightly muscular and not so well groomed large white mustache that the bartender had on him, showed age of a veteran employee that didn't care much about his outer appearance, even his uniform was missing a button or two. Heck he doesn't even blame the guy, minimum wage pay would make anyone not care so much. The bartender finished up cleaning a glass cup, sniffing the air ever so slightly due to his allergies and whatnot. Eyeing Aegon and having a somewhat rather pleasant smile come across his face, probably indicating that Aegon was one of his favorite customers. He approached him as he placed the glass cup he just had cleaned right in front of Aegon. 

"What can I get for you Aegon? The regular whisky like always? Or perhaps the rum you occasional get?"

Aegon simply nodded and gave a response. 

"I can see that you have been bored out of your mind with this much chatter you are giving me huh Clarence?" 

Clarence sighed in almost disbelief and agreed with him with a simple nod to confirm it. He poured the whisky shot in the glass and gave him a nod, as he went to attend another customer in the mean time. Aegon looked at the glass of whisky like it was a life decision whether to drink the poison or not. He drank it without a second thought to process and there he sat, pulling out his wallet that appeared to look a decade old and stared at the five dollars that he only had. Boy the times were tough indeed and with his criminal record, he can't even get a job doing good.
