- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
"Alright, nozia, hop out. We're here!"
A dirt road off a dirt road off a highway, deep in the woods, was where Elena had journeyed today. Certainly not her usual neon and chrome, but as the mid-afternoon sky grew ever grayer with clouds, it was still as lovely and full of life as the city. She'd had to bother Tatsuya--and owe him more favors that would inevitably be forgotten--to make use of his car; while she'd learned to drive in Spain, she hadn't ever gotten her license in Japan, so she had to be careful not to get pulled over. With car in tow she'd driven to the little suburb where her best friend had "settled down". It was so much nicer than that ratty apartment he'd been living in, and it was much more appropriate to be raising Yui in a house rather than...that. However at his bequest, Elena had come not to visit, but to steal Yui away while he had an evening in.
With his boyfriend.
Boyfriend? Are they dating yet? I know Kocchan is down for it, but...Tou-chi is like a frightened bunny rabbit when it comes to him. Hope he knows what he's doing.
The original plan had been to take Yui out for dinner and a home-cooked dessert, hopefully keeping her in Elena's care until late enough that, when they returned, certain somebodies would be done streaming and chilling and she could be none the wiser. The little hellion had other requests, though: she wanted to train her Quirk. All well and good by Elena's book, but they had to be very, very careful. Yui wasn't just some random little girl with living in Haku's tub anymore. She went to U.A, she was getting better known by her peers, she was even class president! If they were seen...
Which was why she'd driven them outside of Tokyo, and out into the woods at the base of tall, tall mountains and shrouded from prying eyes and ears by thick brambles and birdsong. Elena stepped out of the car herself and brushed some leafs off the roof of the car. She may have had to drive over some shrubs to get to this spot, but it was far enough from the main road and side roads and any real roads that it was worth it. She stretched her arms high above her head, the loose black--and surprisingly plain--tank-top on her torso not hiding any of her shoulder muscles.
"Where did you want to kick off, querida? If you want to go one on one, give me a moment to warm up first." She grinned. "Get it? Warm up? Ahhh, that was awful." wC: 457, Yui Fujin, Be ready for a lot of fire puns

Yui had thrown a temper tantrum at first when Kohaku told her that she couldnt stay around when toma came over. "WHY NOT? I WANNA STAY I WANNA PLAY WITH TOMA-" she said before being cut off at the offer to go hang out with her "Tia" she remembered that word meant aunt in spanish, that made up language Blueblitz taught her. Well she was told it wasn't made up but it sounded like gibberish to her so it must be made up! Right? Well regardless, after some bribery from Elena and from Kohaku, Yui was finally convinced to leave. She told Elena she actually wanted to learn how to use her powers more effectively. The drive to get to the outskirts of Tokyo had taken them quite a bit to do, there were a lot of other cars and there was a lot of stop lights, Yui was groaning in the car as she fiddled around with her seat-belt, she HATED being restrained by this evil belt strap thing. She gnawed on it but then gave up when she realized it was to no avail, the seat belt restraints were too strong for her hands.
Her mother had told her time and time again not to use her powers on others or in general out of fear that Yui loses control so that's exactly what she wanted to work on. She looked around the area, most of it was pretty flat, trees scattered the area but there was a large enough opening as if it was meant for picnics and the likes. Ohhh this was going to be so much fun! Yui ran in circles around Elena, ignoring her pun since she really didnt get it. "What do you mean warmed up?" she asked curiously in the midst of her running in circles. Yui was a little bundle of energy she could barely sit still, WAIT WHAT WAS TIA'S POWER? Ooooh Yui had no idea "What can you do Tia? Huh huh uh??" she said practically jumping up and down in anticipation.
She went on to "I know Kohaku has those weird noodle fingers that can connect to the shiny boxes, Toma makes it really hot and flash around him, what can you do?!" She said as her eyes lit up looking at her wondering if it was something with her hair, it was big and kind of a symbol for her too...yui wondered if she could do her hair like elena's...it looked cool. "Tia is it ok for me to use my powers? My mom used to tell me not to. But i wanna get stronger." she said regaining her focus on the task at hand.

- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
The amount of energy inside Yui's deceptively small body could power Tokyo for at least a decade, but metaphorically and, in the sense of her Quirk, probably literally, too. Elena snickered and crossed one are in front of her chest, caught it with the other, and pulled it to the side until she felt her shoulder pop in a most satisfying way. "Un momento, un momento! I'll show you! Just back up a couple steps. My Quirk is sort of like Tou-chi's, but less flash and more heat." She repeated her action with the opposite arm, then shook them both out in front of her. "Bien entonces..."
Elena drew in a breath. Behind her bangs, her left eye began to glow--softly, at first, like a moonbeam through thick clouds, but within the span of seconds it became brilliant enough that the shape and color of her entire eye was shining right through the hair hiding it from sight. Of course, what was likely more impressive than her eye glowing was the fact that in that same amount of time, both of her arms suddenly ignited. Brilliantly blue flames consumed all the flesh and muscle and bone up to each of her elbows, and yet as she extended her arms out, there was motion in the flames like the her fingers curling and flexing, her wrist turning in little circles. It had been a little bit of time since she'd done her right arm, too. Usually she kept it normal so she could swing a weapon or the like. She didn't need one of those for this, however.
She waved a flaming hand at Yui, grinning, left eye still a flame behind her hair. "There we go! I can turn my whole body into fire, if I want--" to demonstrate her point, the tips of her hair and lips, began to blaze the same blue as her arms and eye, more for show than for use in combat "--buuuut it will burn my clothes. So let's not." With a small shake of her head the flame on the tips of her hair and on her lips went out. While the immediate parts of her body touching the fire didn't burn, leaving those on could still risk catching the rest of her hair ablaze with a fire she couldn't control. It was all or nothing from the neck up. She'd learned that the fun way once.
"Why'd you think I brought you all the way out of the city, tonta? Of course you can use your Quirk. Or powers, whichever you prefer calling them." Elena dropped her arms to her side, carefully giving them enough space from her torso to not burn her shirt or shorts. It was strange hearing Yui mention her real mother, when Elena was so used to the running "joke" turned semi-serious responsibility that was Kohaku and Toma acting as her parents. Where was the woman, anyway? She couldn't have just abandoned her daughter somewhere in Tokyo and not filed a police report to find her. Yui saying that her mother had discouraged her Quirk use, though...was more familiar to her ears. Elena sighed, clenching her alight hands into fists. Too familiar to her.
"They're your powers. Not only should you be able to use them to become stronger, but you should practice as much as you can. If you don't, you'll wind up screwing up when you need to use them for something." Her gaze averted to the grass, the light of her left eye flickering. "Yeah, there's places you shouldn't use them. That isn't right here right now, though." Elena lifted her chin and met Yui with a bright grin once more, pushing aside the shiver, the chill, that went down her spine. "What kind of training session would this be then? C'mon Yui! ¡Muéstrame lo que puedes hacer!"
She braced her jogging shoes into the dirt beneath her feet, ready for the first gale.

Yui could barely contain her excitement, she finally was gonna be able to use her quirk! How exciting! She’s never pushed it to it’s limits before, she didn't know what she was truly capable of the true extent of her godhood was unknown to her. Despite her running in circles around Elena, she heeded the woman’s warnings as soon as she spoke. She back up a few feet and sat down in the soft grass as she watched her carefully. To Yui it felt like ages, she didn't notice any changes at first staring at the beautiful woman very carefully. However she caught of a glimpse of a spark on Elena’s body. Huh? Were her eyes playin- OH FUCK HER AUNT IS ON FIRE. Yui’s first reaction was to back up out of fear and try to help her but she quickly realized Elena didn't even react to it.
What the heck? Yui stared out of sheer curiosity, she was like a blend of pure fire and skin..it was mesmerizing to look at..she was like a goddess of fire..WAIT IS SHE A GODDESS OF FIRE? She had to be! How else could she do such a thing if she wasn't?! Yui had already convinced herself so now no amount of reasoning, the woman had encouraged Yui to go all out. “Hmmm” she said hesitating a bit as she looked over to the nearby trees trying to think of what she could do. After a few moments of thinking she decided what she could do, one thing Yui did like to do was make a show of everything, as if her previous endeavors have not been evidence enough.
She raised her umbrella up in the air and began to gather wind, she formed a small tornado of it that had gold flakes of yellow in it, allowing Elena to see it. She lowered the umbrella and uttered the phrase “Divine wind!” as she pointed it towards the tree and fired the blast towards it. The tree snapped in half like a twig falling over with a loud thud. Yui stood there in amazement, wow she really was impressive! She turned around with her crazy hair and waited for Elena to praise her. However Yui’s mind was rather warped because the three she managed to break really wasn't all that thick nor was it all that durable. She thought she took down a oak wood tree but it was really more like a palm tree one.
Oh wait Elena wanted her to fight her...ohhhhhh, that would explain why she was in a fighting stance.. “OHHHHHH. Wait you wan- sorry I slacked off in my spanish teaching I thought you wanted me to show you what I could do on the tree...not on you!” she said as she opened up her umbrella and began to float backwards to create some distance between the two.
Well damn Yui kinda made a big mistake didn't she, she showed elena a strong move she could do, well not that i’d be useful in combat like this, it took too long to charge up. Yui instead opted to send a blast of wind in the shape of a ball towards Elena and see how she reacts to it.

- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
The heels of Elena's shifted as Yui raised her umbrella into the air, and the wind began to spiral towards it with the sheen of a dozen glittering golden lights. It really was a beautiful Quirk. Dangerous, too, in the way any gale of wind could be--especially to unsuspecting hackers and their easily tossed around furniture. Her grin grew wider. The tension in her muscles was, however, for nothing, as Yui opted to swing the small twister she'd formed on her parasol into a nearby birch sapling. It cracked in two cleanly and fell to the earth with the a crash of leafs and branches. Elena stood back up, stance relaxed, and chuckled softly to herself. "No no no, my mistake. I'm still not used to be surrounded by non-Spanish speakers. Want to try that again on me?"
Yui didn't need to be asked twice apparently. Once again the lights whirled around the tip of her parasol, this time into a sphere, and fired off straight for where Elena stood. Part of her wanted to see if she could tank it with her arms. Wind fed fire, right? What about Quirk-infused wind and fire in human form? Would that work the same? Her logical brain said "no, you're an idiot". But it would do to be training Yui without her knowing just how strong she was, right? So she crossed her flame-engulfed arms in front of her in the shape of an X, and let the brunt of the blow wash over her.
And knock her clear over.
"Oof!" Elena let out a huff of breath as she was not only hit with the gale, but was tossed backwards a few feet before landing on her hips. Her hands came down to steady themselves and their heat charred the dirt below them, blackening it to ash.
Bueno. Asi la pequeña Yui y sus bonitos poderes del viento eran bastante duros.
Elena finally reminded herself that, of all the things she'd considered, Yui was, still, a student at U.A. She wasn't a pushover. But Elena was just so used to all the wild stories and silliness that came second-hand from Kohaku or the chat...she'd forgotten.
No volveré a cometer ese error.
"Ay, mi cadera...good hit! Let me get, uff--" she struggled to push herself up with her arms. While they were flame, they didn't have the same mass as usual. As such, her strength was much, much less when they were like this. Less enough to struggle to even push her own body back to her feet. She managed it after a couple awkward, very irritating moments. "--back up. Alright. I deserved that bruise for not dodging your attack, but I needed to feel how strong you were! Otherwise how am I supposed to tell if you're getting stronger while we're practicing?" Only a literal airhead would believe the 'I meant to do that' line. But, hey, Yui was smart at a lot of things. People, and especially social situations and norms, were not any of those things.
Elena shook her hands out twice to clear the faint smoke that lingered on them from touching the ground. "Okay, real question before I do anything. I will burn you if I touch you. I obviously won't do anything that will seriously harm you, but if we're going to train, I'm going to hit you with the same effort you just gave me. Entender?"
Man, she was already feeling bad about burning her little "niece". How did those teachers at U.A do any sort of teaching, when it meant beating up on kids like her?
Maybe they were just all sadists.
...eso explicaría mucho sobre él, en realidad. wC: 624, Yui Fujin , at least hachi isn't...junko tho...

Yui gave Elena a smug look when she saw that she was able to push back her aunt back. She stood there contempt with herself striking a pose with both fists on her hips. "Bwahaha, it seems like you cant stand up to my greatness!" she said allowing her cocky attitude to fully flourish.
She never really felt like this before unless she was using her "magic" as she called it instead of a quirk. Soon after, Elena seemed to shake off the hit much to Yui's surprise. Hmph! How dare she! Yui's cheeky ego was getting to her head, she was so used to always having the upper hand in whatever she did that Elena not losing in one hit was much of a shock. After-all everyone back home was quirk-less so they couldn't really put up a fight if they had to restrain her. For most of Elena's talk with Yui, the girl was patting herself on her back until a certain string of words brought her back to reality. "I'm going to hit you with the effort you just gave me." those words left her stunned for a second.
She hadn't thought about her aunt really trying to hit her back. Her paranoia of her hollow bones took over. She freaked out and opened her umbrella and used her serene grace to leap backwards a bit, away from Elena. "NO! you're not allowed to hit me" she screamed a bit, freaking out. As she moved backwards she fired another albeit weaker gust towards Elena to try and keep her at bay. Yui, was a very squishy creature. She was always told she had to be careful to not do anything rough or strenuous due to her physiology and that gave her an innate fear of being hit. Aside from people's innate fear of being hit or pain.

"Alright, alright, pepita pequeña engreída, you got me. Don't get a fat head."
Elena gave a little roll of her eyes at Yui's boast. The effect was lessened by the fact that she was still smiling. She was such a brat, but she was their brat, so it was cute. Still, that was the sort of thinking that lead to kids that never learned to stop being brats and parents who could never wrangle control of them. She didn't know if Yui's mother had been of that sort of people, but it lined up with Yui's behavior. Hopefully Koaku and Toma together would have better luck getting her to act more maturely. Probably not, but hopefully. At least they had Elena to give them a break.
Her arms raised in front of her in a classic boxing stance, right hand held out further than the left, her thumbs tucked under her fingers--though given they were made of flame right now, one couldn't tell nor did it really matter. Yui had not taken what she'd said well. At least, she didn't seem to. Just as she shouted for Elena not to touch her she'd opened her parasol and another wave of wind pushed outwards towards Elena's position. This time, though, she didn't sit and take it like an idiot.
Ella es fingiendo estar asustada? Ella todavía está tratando de pegarme...
Ella es jugando un juego?
With a jerk forward and to the left Elena evaded the gust before it could reach her, putting her several steps closer to Yui by the time the girl may have dared a glance over her parasol. Her fists still held in front of her, her blue eye flashed brighter as she weaved in and around, trying to find an opening over or around the protective umbrella. Even if there was one, though, what was she going to do? She didn't want to burn Yui, but her hands were pure flame. Even a light punch was going to leave at least a red mark for a day or two. Nothing that cold water couldn't help; and she had packed plenty of that, just in case. She always did, especially when she was out here.
Her arm struck around to try and get a blow against Yui's arm, and, in the moment of contact, Yui would come to realize her fears--unknown to Elena--were for naught. Although Elena's curled fist would make contact, and the feeling of something touching her arm would be there, there was no physical weight to the strike. As quick as she could throw a punch and as strong as she was, Elena could not land a physical hit while she was made of fire. The contact would burn, of course, but it would never bruise and bones would never break. At worst the pain would make her instinctively jerk away. For as bright and brilliant as she was in this form, Elena was toothless.
At least, so long as she wasn't actively trying to melt a person's skin off. Which she was most certainly not, in this situation. Not in a million years would she hurt Yui.
...but giving the little punk the lesson that she could, in fact, get hurt, wasn't all bad. wC: 544, Yui Fujin , yes she did just call yui a nugget there

apparently telling someone to stay away was not an effective tactic in getting them to do so. Yui's panic only advertised to elena further that the girl was wide open and able to strike. Yui was caught even more off guard by the fact that she had missed! SHE NEVER MISSED BEFORE WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSE TO DO NOW? Her mind was flooded with thoughts, like what should she do, oh god was she gonna break the bones in her face? Yui never really felt serious pain before and she was NOT excited for it
And that Lack of excitement was painted all over her face moments before Elena closed the gap between the two, Yui was stuck, she couldn't leap again using her wind so soon and Elena would just be taken with her if she did. Yui's only weakness (she lied to herself on account of her ego)..close combat. She couldn't handle stuff quickly and thinking on her feet was not her friend. She preferred to fight from afar to have SOME time for decisions, up close and personal she couldn't do anything!
Yui flinched expecting the worst, however she didn't feel a bone break...no wait, this felt WORSE. Yui let out a blood curdling scream as Elena's flames made contact with the girl's skin. Her adrenaline shot and she sent all of her force downwards between the two of them."GET AWAY" Yui went flying to the side and hopefully Elena was flung in the opposite direction. Yui caused some damage to herself in the process to split the two of them up, she had a bruise on her ankle. Yui crawled backwards as fear filled her eyes, this was pain huh? Yui HATED it she was in total baby mode.. She stared at Elena as tears filled up her eyes, that was AWFUL why would ANYONE do that to someone else? Yui grabbed onto her arm rubbing it. She began to shake a bit from the adrenaline, her quirk wore her out extremely fast due to the amount of force she used to split the two up.
How was poor Elena going to explain this to Kohaku? What would she say to the kids at school?

- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
It was only a small burn. The sort of burn you get from brushing your arm against a warming stove top, or from being out in the sun for too long. Some cold water, a compress, and some aloe would make it good as new in a day or so. At least that was what Elena kept repeating to herself as she felt her flame make contact with Yui upper arm. Perhaps it was justification for her actions. Yui needed to learn that she could get hurt trying to be a hero, and it was better she learn it now than by acting cocky around some actually dangerous villain--besides, this wound was hardly a wound at all! She would apologize to Yui, treat the burn, and they could keep going from here.
But that ideal scenario required Yui not to full-on panic the moment she felt scalded.
The wind suddenly ripped the two of them apart, like a bomb had gone off between them, and Elena flew several feet away before landing in the dirt on her side, her arms suddenly doused as she fell on top of one. She gasped to get air back into her lungs. Okay. That had not been the reaction she had anticipated from Yui. A little "How dare you hit me?!" whining, perhaps, but the blow hadn't just been a rebuttal. She'd thrown herself away, too, like she'd been desperate to escape Elena's touch. Elena cursed softly as she stood back up, holding the elbow she'd landed on with her other hand. With the flames gone, the bones ached something fierce. She'd heal.
"Huy..." she winced, and looked up to where Yui had crawled to. Even at this distance she could see the faint red mark on her skin and noticed a purple splotch on her heel. Crap, she must have landed wrong. "That was a little uncalled for, Yui. I told you I wasn't going to burn you that badly, you didn't have to hurt yourself flying awa--"
As she had been walking towards Yui, Elena saw the glint of tears in her eyes, and her voice died on her lips. Crap, had she hurt herself that badly? Had she burned her worse than intended? A cold, heavy feeling began to swell in her stomach. She had been going so, so easy on her. They hadn't even really started. Why was she crying?
"I...I'll get you a cold cloth, hang on, cariña." She stepped backwards, eyes frantic, fretful, before turning around and rushing towards the car. She didn't have a full-on first aid kit in there, but water and a cloth would be fine. She had aloe in the glove compartment. She grabbed that as well. All the while she was screaming at herself.
Entraste demasiado caliente! Podrías haberla lastimado seriamente o ella podría haberse lastimado a sí misma! Qué estaba pensando?! Y ahora está sufrienda...
Bottle of water, little packet of aloe, and a clean-ish cloth towel in hand Elena returned to Yui, her free, unharmed arm extended to gently touch her on the shoulder. "Here, here, let me take a look at the burn. It will feel better in a second. Why..." she sighed, softly, concern thick in her voice, "Why did you jump away like that? I...I didn't mean to hurt you, I was going as gentle as I could. It's not a bad burn. And now your ankle is going to swell up and I don't have any ice. Por Dios, mi querida..."

To say Yui was being a bit over dramatic would be the understatement of the century. To Yui however this was very serious, her mother had always warned her of her hollow bones. Making her paranoid of doing anything that could end up getting her hurt and today that paranoia proved itself right, pain sucked, 0/10 wouldn't try again. However Yui was not one for jokes or 'memes' as the kids in the modern world called it. Instead she was still sobbing from the shock and pain from her injured leg and the burn on her arm, she was being dramatic as Elena expected but really what else could she expect?
She laid there still sobbing and crying, she didn't pay attention to Elena at first in fact the wind. Around her seemed to start running around a bit faster, she was starting to lose control. She saw Elena's worry on her face, the woman began to speak to her in Spanish at first, her brain was running to fast to even attempt to remember the bits and pieces she could learn. She saw Elena approaching her and tried to move back a bit but winced from the pain in her leg. She saw how calm Elena was acting and was starting to wind down a bit but the adrenaline was already pumping. "I-I.." was all that could escape the young girl's lip. she was inconsolable "I-I've never F-Felt pain before, I was sheltered.. ev-everything-was made safe." she said continuing to stutter, she was also conflicted. She wasn't afraid of Elena, she knew that Elena loved her but the fear of the fire burning her again scared her. She didn't want to associate Elena with fire, she blamed the fire, not her. "I-I-Wanna..go home.." she said "What are we gonn-gonna- tell ko-kohak.." she said as her words began to trail off. She was getting really tired already, the pain combined with the exhaustion from using so much force suddenly was catching up to her. "I dont like fire.." she said going into la la land.

- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
Elena cracked open the water bottle and poured enough onto the cloth to make it cold and damp, something that her skin really disagreed with. Her palm began to steam against the liquid and the wet towel. It didn't hurt the way a burn would, but it was still an extremely unpleasant feeling. She reached to cover Yui's burn with it, then, a second of thought later, prefaced what she was about to do with: "This is going to hurt again, and I know you won't like it, but if I don't the burn won't get better. Hold still." With that said she pressed the wet cloth against the burn. Her skin continued to hiss and steam in protest. "Hold that against your arm, I'll open the aloe. Don't move it."
Yui's words were so shaky compared to Elena's own, but inside she felt like she was falling apart at the seams. She would never, ever want to hurt any child, let alone one she cared so much about. Why the hell couldn't she have had a combative Quirk that had an "easy" mode? Fire had no such handicap. She was either going all-in and could hurt anyone who touched her--friend or foe--or she didn't use her Quirk in a fight and may as well be Quirkless. All of her fighting, save what she could do with a weapon, required her to be ablaze. She sure as hell wasn't going to be using a blunt weapon against Yui though. Not when her body was as fragile as it appeared to be.
But the rest of the world wasn't like that. She had to learn. Didn't she? Elena did at her age, and she turned out...
...well...
"Yui, if you want to be a hero like Tou-chii or somebody who fights crime the less-than-legal like I do, you're going to get hurt. Even people who go as far as Kocchan does to stay out of physical fights gets hurt. It's just a part of life." Elena's voice was a dead contrast to the words she was speaking; she should have been encouraging, maybe a little hard, trying to get a girl who had never known pain to accept that the path she was on had pain in it, and she'd need to overcome it to triumph. Her voice was weak and worried and uncharacteristically quiet, more like she was apologizing to Yui for the way the world worked. If there was a way she could keep the poor girl away from pain forever, she would do it. The only way she could think of, though, was to shelter her, just as Yui appeared to have been all her life. That was no way to live.
No es justo.
"I'll tell him the truth. I burned you while I was teaching you some fight moves, even though I said I was taking you to a movie. It was my idea and I'm the adult so it's my responsibility." She was lying. Well, sort of. Elena had told Kohaku where they were going and what they were doing, but she hadn't told Yui that. Yui still thought they had gone behind his back to train. Like Elena would ever do something so stupid. Something could go wrong and they'd be caught in the lie, and everything would go to hell. Case and point, this exact thing happening without Kohaku knowing would have burned a lot of his trust in Elena. Or worse. At least having told him he knew something like this could have happened. It still wouldn't be a fun conversation.
"But we should wait a few hours, at least. I don't want to interrupt him and Tou-chii on their 'date night'." She sighed and, rubbing some aloe on her fingers--they sizzled a little but no heat came off of it--to apply to Yui's burn. "We can do something else. See an movie for real, go back to my apartment and play games, anything you want."
Por favor, no me tengas miedo, querida.

Yui still kept sniffling as Elena was treating her wounds. oh yeah, Cry baby mode was still in effect. Yui had flinched a bit when Elena touched her, albeit she couldnt tell if it was from the pain or a fear of Elena burning her again. "Why, why would people do that? That's horrible? Do they like that kind of stuff? That's cruel.." she said through her sobs and gasps for air. Yui began to understand why her mother didn't want her to leave the village, it was safe. Devoid of the cruel sin that made people do this kind of stuff. She sat there thinking, somewhat tuning out to Elena's words.
She then in that moment decided her new goal, she wanted to make a world where such cruelness would be purged. That sin of joy that comes from hurting others, what she called darkness was going to be removed. She snapped back to reality When Elena said they couldn't go home yet, asking Yui what she wanted to do now instead of going home since that weird Toma guy and Kohaku were still hanging out. She sniffled and looked straight into Elena's eyes and told her word for word. "If you give me ice cream we don't have to tell Kohaku that it's your fault, Ill say i tripped and that i burned myself on something..I dont know..." she said trying to play it off as her being mischievous. but really Yui just didn't want to put that kind of strain on her and Kohaku's relationship. That little box that acts as Kohaku's voice was going to be EXTREMELY crossed with her for this. "Dont tell him..." She said pouting to really emphasize the desire for her to not get in trouble.
As the two would most likely begin to head out, Yui put her arms up signaling to Elena that she wanted her. To pick her up and carry her, she did the same exact thing to Kenji so it's only fitting she do it to her aunt as well...As the two of them most likely began to head out Yui said something rather interesting to Elena "I want to make a world devoid of that kind of pain...That's why I'll be a hero." she said leaning into Elena, hugging her a bit.

- The wind shows us how close to the edge we are -
"Sometimes it's an accident, sometimes it's because they are cruel and want to hurt people because they're bad. Because they want people to hurt so they can feel good. But, hey, there aren't nearly as many people like that in the world then there are people like us who would never be like that, ever." Elena forced a smile onto her face even though it felt too raw, too hollow. She didn't like faking anything, even smiles, but she couldn't shake the need to give Yui some sort of reassurance right now. She needed it. She needed to know the world wasn't a completely horrible place. Right?
Elena could give her that without it being a lie, right?
Thankfully Yui made it easy to find even a sliver of good feelings in this sort of scenario. "That sounds like you want me to bribe you with sweets, niña descarada." With the aloe applied and nearly completely absorbed by Yui's skin, Elena drew her hand back and started standing up. She almost held a hand out for Yui to take, but at the sight of her holding up her arms, Elena bent back down to pick her up, holding her piggy-back style. Right, her ankle was hurt up, too. That would need ice. And she was incredibly light, too. Kohaku was feeding her enough, wasn't he? No, of course he was. Elena made sure of it on a nearly hourly basis. "Alright, ice cream it is. Do you want to buy it somewhere, or homemade? Creo que tenemos leche entera..."
She reached the car and--with a little awkward maneuvering trying to open the car door without dropping Yui--opened the back so Yui could climb into her seat and buckle up. Her words hung in the air for a moment. A world without pain, without people hurting. That was what they all wanted, wasn't it? Heroes and vigilantes and even just most normal, sensible people. If nobody hurt then nobody would be sad. It was all very idealistic, maybe too idealistic. No single person could erase the world of pain; not even a hero, not even a lot of heroes. It was just the way the world was.
Elena was too young to be so cynical--hell, she was only five years older than Yui.
So maybe it wasn't impossible.
"I'll hold you to that, queridísima." Elena smiled softer and closed the back door of the car, climbing into the driver's seat. "If anyone could do something so grand, it's you."
Sin embargo, no me vas a dejar atrás.
wC: 430, Yui Fujin , Well it wasn't a long training session but she did learn something...that's good, right? Right...?
