The Inagawaro family was dealing with some rather, difficult times. With the Keishicho actually attempting to take them down, people were bound to betray the family. One such betrayal however, was completely unexpected. A man named Splitter who had proven his loyalty time after time, but after all that, he had finally gone rogue. Not only did he decide to betray the family by taking a shipment of their juice, but he was going to sell it to the Railway Union! This proved to Inagawaro Juro that even his most loyal and trusted enforcer could betray him. He was extremely displeased to say the least.
Thus, Juro chased the man down with ten fellow yakuza goons. A shootout occurred, and Splitter, being heavily outnumbered, was badly injured. However, he managed to escape into a train yard. The clever man saw this as an opportunity to prove the Inagawaro clan was superior to both the Railway Union and the Keishicho. He pulled out his phone and messaged three individuals: Inagawaro Kai, Emile Papillon, and Nureru Tauto. He had been told to hire two of the three if needed, and the third was a fellow member of the Inagawaro family. What he needed now, was muscle, however he wasn't certain that the three were what he needed. He was merely told to use them if needed. He sent them the location to a nearby tower and headed there himself, waiting for them to arrive.
Once the three arrived, he would explain the situation to them. "Evening you three, we have a little situation here." He cleared his throat, "There has been a betrayal of the Inagawaro Family recently. A man by the name of Splitter has taken a shipment of our 'juice' and plans to sell it to the Railway Union and use that as his way to go legitimate. This is an issue for multiple reasons as I'm sure you're all aware, so I'll spare you the details. Now," He would point to a nearby train yard, "We've cornered him there. However most of my men were just in a shootout with him, so I would rather you all go in. That's why we called you three, we want you three to track him down in the train yard and, naturally, kill him. Be careful though, one mistake and you could easily end up being the ones that die. Not that i care too much, i would just have to call more muscle. Any questions?" Hopefully the three wouldn't question the situation, and Juro could get away with it. Soon his last loose end would be tied up.

When Kai got the call, of course he had to respond immediately. Any chance he could get to prove himself to the family was a chance he was going to take. No doubt about that. There was only so much he could do on his own, as a lowly soldier within the Family. His name did very little for him, because he wasn't actually an immediate member of the main family. He didn't want to get by on nepotism, though. He needed to prove himself. He needed to be useful.
Arriving by the tower, Kai folded his arms and leaned against a side, listening to Juro explain the situation. He immediately scowled at the news. There had been a betrayal within the family. There had been too many of those lately with those scumbag Keishicho and those Union bastards whispering in every ear they could bend. But this one, this one hit Kai particularly hard. Splitter was someone he knew, of course. The man had been loyal, or so Kai thought. He had at least known of the man since he was a little kid, even. Later on in his life, he had even gone on a few assignments where the bastard was involved. Never in a million years did he expect Splitter to go rogue like this. But that thought only pissed the Yakuza Son off.
Kai, still with his arms crossed, found himself gripping his bicep hard. He was pissed. He was fucking angry. This was almost personal. "Splitter? That piece of fucking shit!" He spat, without a shred of mercy in his voice. "Yeah, I'll fucking kill him. You can count on me." He pushed himself off the wall and started rolling his shoulders. "Just one. Where the fuck is he?" The faster he could find the bastard, the better, so he could blast his fucking head off his shoulders.

Screams, terror, blood, dust, running from destroyed buildings and ruined, desecrated bodies that ruined the hardwood floors, a flash of all these things over and over again in a loop that seemed to never end. These were the things that littered Tarou's dreams. Ever since that day he had never been able to have any normal dreams, was this trauma perhaps? Possibly just his mind relieving the horror of what happened to him, what happened to his family. Though those thoughts, those ideas of revenge still remained strong within his mind this dream that he couldn't forsake seemed to torment him every night to the point where now he was no longer scared of them. now he embraced them. He basked in the screams, the dying bodies littering the ground, the blood that seemed to rain from the sky, and the dust of things he touched and "ate" till they crumbled into nothingness. Soon he made it a habit within his dreams to hunt, to capture any living things left and do away with them. Though it was said to him once that those little things left within his dreams, those living things besides himself were his consciousness, or pieces of them anyway. He didn't mind that, not by a longshot and in this very dream he found himself face to face with a younger version of himself, frowning and crying. He walked up to it and caressed its face- his face many years younger. As he wiped the tears away they seemed to absorb into his skin, and then he grabbed it. He grabbed his own face so hard that it hurt, and he began to eat. Eating was what he called it when he took moisture out of things using his quirk. He grabbed "his" face with both hands as the smaller version of him struggled and he wouldn't let go, the more the younger version of him struggled the more he gripped harder, the more he ate until there was nothing left but dust, and as he blinked he could feel it, the horror of being eaten, the horror of devouring himself, and in the face of all this terror. He dusted the remains of "himself" off, and simply walked away with a smile.
The alarm clock went off, ringing in his ears the knell bell sounding for its tone. He yawned and stretched his limbs, the bed around him seemed soaked with sweat. Was the dream that intense this time? He had already begun to forget it, but what he did know was that like many other times occasionally, a piece of him seemed to be missing. Was it compassion perhaps? A part of him felt darker. Though he knew it already, that every time he closed his eyes he devoured pieces of himself, the parts most people would call "the good parts" all those good bits and pieces were slowly being taken away, turned into nothingness, he figured it was just some form or way of coping with what he had become, what he had been becoming. He'd absorb the sweat he'd lost out of the bed, though he didn't like the "taste" of it. Leaving the bed and its sheets as dry as when he first got on. He'd get up and go to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash. Looking in the mirror he'd mutter but a simple word of what he figured he was becoming his true self "Heathen" he'd say with a smile before moving out of the bathroom.
He'd dress in a simplistic fashion today, putting on nothing but a pair of black shorts, and black tank top along with some black sandals. He didn't mind the weather today regardless of the outcome, he loved the rain and snow after all, though with what month it was he didn't think that was going to happen, possibly the rain, at least he hoped so. He'd make his way to the bed stretching once more loosening up. As he sat at the foot of the bed his phone would begin to ring. Reaching over to his dresser, sprawling himself out across the bed he'd grab it and look at who was calling, rocking both his feet and legs in the air like a giddy teenage girl listening to his ring tone a bit before pressing the button to answer the call. "Moshi Moshi~ Ah. Uh-huh. Oh! Okay~" He'd respond, it seemed he got a simple job today, one he'd enjoy. He gave a Cheshire smile as he hung up the phone.
He'd leave out of his rundown apartment complex, a tempory shelter as he liked to stay on the move. He'd jog in place a bit, the sound of his sandals slapping against the wooden and rooting floors pathed over by cracked concrete. He had a smile on his face as he usually did, one that never seemed to fade. Often people would wonder just what the hell he was so happy about. As he took off, jogging down the stairs he spotted an old lady struggling to come up. From his knowledge of the short time he had lived in this area she was rather frail and it often took her a while to get up the stairs. She looked at him with pleading eyes, and he gave a simple nod, and like he did most times he saw her he would hoist her up gently onto his back and jog back up the stairs, gently holding her until he got her to her apartment door. She'd thank him and give him a hard candy, he'd take it and continue his jog back down the stairs, popping his hard candy in his mouth. It tasted like cherries, his favorite. His smile grew a little larger as he exited his apartment. He loved running into that old bat, a simple jog up the stairs for some free candy sounded like a good deal and it was a decent pre-workout.
Nureru would jog down the street making his way to the nearby train station. He'd hold on to the rails, standing until he made his way to the designated stop from the location he had been given. He didn't mind working with the Inagwaro, in fact, his Yakuza family and theirs used to be on great terms back in the day and often his family acted as their "clean up" or "take out" crew. It was only natural that eventually, he'd stumble back into them, and when the opportunity arose to do business with him he was one of the first to throw his metaphorical hat in the ring. After all, he wouldn't mind doing what his parents did and this was a great way to make money and connections that he knew he'd need. Plus sometimes it was just downright fun, after all, he got to do one of his favorite things-violence.
Making his way to the meetup spot dictated by the "big man" he spotted some others. He walked over with a simple smile, his hands behind his back and his eyes so low one might think they were shut. "Hi, hi~" He'd muse to them with a simple wave before listening to what the "boss" had to say. He'd lay still with the exception of a simple head nod as if he was following what the man said, and he was through what he was looking forward to was just getting started already. Three simple thoughts would plague his mind as the boss spoke. "Already nearby in train yard; Wonder how I'll kill him; Haha, we can die." He didn't mind any of those things, after all, it just made things more exciting to him! Even more fun, this job was starting to sound like a good day to spend the day. Much better than just sitting around in a run-down apartment all day. Yes, now was his chance to let loose, a chance to do his job, and a chance to prove to the Inagwaro that he could do what they hired him for! That he could do even more!
As he looked around getting a better look of the others he gave a slight bow, hoping they would pardon his disrespect in terms of formal greeting, especially one of the younger members of the very clan he worked for Inagwaro Kai. He wondered why he had come personally but he supposed he could just downright ask him, himself after all from now on it seemed they'd be working together on this little hunt. Though the young Inagwaro seemed rather aggressive though for a child born into a Yakuza family he didn't think it was anything strange. He was sure the boy was most likely some form of delinquent in his spare time after all. Nureru would flash a simple thumbs up to the young Inagwaro and would simply let him know "I'm ready when you are." He'd say with his smile still stagnant on his face.

Things never quite work out how you wanted them to. Take this phone call, for an instance. Émile was largely undertaking his own little, largely independent ploy for that'd benefit Inagawaro, but had exchanged his "work" number with them should any complications arise. While the vagueness of the message, as well as the arranged meeting place, seemed largely unfitting for his job, Émile brushed it off for now. The yakuza usually were an entitled bunch, so pushing even their business partners around like this wasn't uncommon in the old man's experience. He merely sighed and prepared to leave his hotel room sufficiently prepared. Émile arrived to the scene dressed more modestly than he commonly did while arranging "business" due to the location in question. The old foreigner was clad in a formal yet obviously cheap, worn suit, complemented by a matching hat, a common cane and his signature black butterfly mask upon his face. He was quick to note that he wasn't the only guest. One looked like your typical yakuza, while the other one... while the other one was a large man whose presence made Émile feel slightly at unease. When it finally came to explaining the situation, things started to make more sense to Émile. In hindsight, he was unsure if he had still recovered from jet lag if it had taken for him this long to catch onto what was going on: he had been called here as hired help, instead of any kind of discussion about his own machinations. Surprise must have shone through his mask, and this "revelation" must have also been the reason as to why Émile was the last one of the three to finally open their mouth. "Pardon? Have I misunderstood something, or am I being treated like some kind of common mook here?" Despite his heavily accented Japanese, the annoyance in his tone carried through sound and clear. "I had understood that your family was in a tight spot currently, but it is quite something if you need to call an old man like myself for a cleaning job. For heaven's sake..." Émile pointed his cane towards the same direction as Juro had. "You already know where the man is, it's not a large area, and they're wounded. It's not exactly like they need assistance in being discovered, especially by someone whose arrangement didn't include such turns of events in the first place, should I recall correctly"(Reference for the outfit, only the mask differs.)

And thus, the trio of his hired 'supporters' had arrived. The first was a fellow member of his fellow Yakuza family, followed by Nureru Taoru and then Emile Papillon. The first of the three was an arrogant fool, so of course he fell for Juro's trick. The second just wanted to kill apparently...but the third. The third of the group was the only one he needed to convince. An old man would be hard to switch to his side though, but the sneaky Juro knew how to do it, "Yes yes Kai, I'm sure you'll prove yourself just as the rest of us have. And Mr. Taoru I appreciate your patience. As for you, Mr. Papillon, as I said before, Splitter was our most trusted enforcer, he will attempt to pull all manner of tricks, he can be very convincing, but the moment you believe him he'll strike you down. So to answer your question, no you three aren't mere grunt soldiers. Grunts could never hope to win against Splitter. And if we didn't think you could you wouldn't be here. Of course, there is a reward. For Kai, he's expected to help as a member of our family, but it will prove his worth in it and give him a smaller amount of cash than you two. For Mr. Taoru, he gets some money, and is given someone to kill, something I'm sure he appreciates. And for you, Mr. Papillon, you get more money than the others to continue whatever work you please, unless there was another reward you had in mind? Regardless Splitter has a car with him in the train yard, what he stole from the family is in the back of it. Bring that back with you too."
The man then motioned for one of the ten body guards to come over and requested a cake be delivered to him, he was getting awfully hungry. Once the guard left, the man looked at the three he had hired for the job, "Alright now, no time to waste. My men can't hold him in the train yard long. Come back when you're done for a reward, and if you don't I guess we'll just have to hire another three stooges to kill him." The cynical man smiled and waved them goodbye, once they were gone he ordered the remaining guards to leave him alone in the room and talked to himself, "Setting Splitter up was probably the best way to get rid of him. Still, I wonder how he found out I was selling information to the cops...I suppose I'll just have to be more careful next time. Now where's that drone so I can watch the action unfold." He said as he reached for a drone with a camera, flying it to a position where he could see the train yard. He would follow the three hired arms he had called in, if there was another betrayal he wanted to know about it. He ordered his men back in, "In case they betray us you guys may want to prepare to go in, rest up while you can."

The person who arrived after him was someone else that Kai already knew. Kai nodded in greeting even as a cold sweat dripped down the back of Kai’s neck at the sight of him and an uneasiness settled in the pit of his stomach. This happened every time. Nureru Taoru was simply a terrifying beast of a man. The two of them had gone on several jobs together and Nureru was always the one tasked with the dirty work. Killing was something he enjoyed. Kai didn’t mind killing himself, but he didn’t reveal in it like this man did. Every time they met, Kai found himself glad that Nureru was invariably on his side.
The final member of the team was a completely unfamiliar face and looked unfitting to even be here. He was way too old for this shit and dressed like the fucking gentleman. What was he? Some kind of fancy assassin type? No, even he was confused by the scenario. Kai just scowled, first at him, then at Juro. It was his fucking fault, after all, having assembled this team.
“Yeah, what’s the goddamn deal here, Juro? This guy doesn’t even want to be here. You pulling our leg or something?” Kai spat, demanding an explanation. Of course, Juro promptly gave it, but Kai was hardly satisfied, about that answer or the question of compensation.
“Hold the fuck up? What do you mean I get a smaller amount of cash?” The young yakuza was livid. He smashed his fist against one of the legs of the tower they were all gathered under. “Motherfucking cheapskate, Juro… Whatever, gotta do what I gotta do… Never been like this before.” Kai grumbled, but ultimately accepted his situation. He still wasn’t sure why Papillion, or whatever his name was, was even here, but it was up to him if he was coming.
Nureru looked to Kai to take the lead. Kai gulped and took it, as usual. The monster was effective, but he required direction and Kai knew he could give it. He had done it before. “Let’s get going then.” He announced, gesturing that the others follow him. “We should move quietly, though. Check the place out before we go barging in. I wanna know the terrain and anything we can use to our advantage.”

Nureru watched the back and forth between both one of the workers and the big boss. Though truthfully he didn't really care about their scuffle, he just thought it was funny. He would simply smile and watch, taking stock and note of both men as they had their 'discussion' if one could call it that. Though as they did he made sure to turn his head to look around the train yard. His quirk wasn't one that specialized in tracking or even visual aid for that much. So he had to be more cautious in areas like this, but that's what made it more fun, right? One would think so anyway, at least Nureru did and for him, well that was all that mattered was that it was fun!
Upon them finishing Nureru did think that the hatted older gentleman did make a few good points, however, right now that wasn't his concern. Even though things seemed a little fishy it wasn't too out of the ordinary for Yakuza to do this kind of thing, but he did have this nagging feeling of wondering why he and the others, in particular, were called. Was it simple convenience or was it more than that? Even if it was, he wondered why one of them in the Yakuza would do such a thing knowing he wouldn't get away with it, knowing what the outcome was? Nureru simply turned the one he thought of as the big boss and spoke: "Whoever this guy is, he won't get off easily betraying the Inagwaro family that's for sure." Nureru chuckled shooting a quick glance at the "big boss". He wasn't sure but something was off about this whole thing.
No matter! His mind told him, he would simply follow his gut with everything as he always did, and now it seemed it was time to move. Kai the young yakuza seemed to be more than just a hot-headed delinquent it seemed, the plan to go in and check out things quietly was something Nureru could get behind, after all just barging in recklessly was a good way from them all to die, especially, considering this guy they were chasing was good at what he did, after all, why would they need them? That there was a reason for them to be cautious enough. He agreed, nodding in the direction of Kai. He'd speak to him again in an energetic tone "Just let me know if you need me to do anything specific." He said with a smile. He gave a simple nod at the older gentlemen wondering if he'd play nice with them all, or if he would simply spout more complaints as he did earlier. He didn't mind that the guy was upset, in fact, he thought it was normal. What he didn't like was that he seemed presumptuous, at least that was the fill Nureru got from him.
Though considering he was called like the rest of them here he figured the man might have some form of skill. He was interested in seeing it. In fact, he was interested in both of them, he wanted to know how they'd react to getting their hands dirty, to killing someone, to blood, to chaos all around them. Would they freeze up and simply become more victims for the taking or would they actually be the ones who did the taking? Ah, the thought about it was enough to make him tingle. He gave a small laugh, though not directed at anything but his own thoughts. His smile never wavered and he licked lips slightly, the taste of cherry candy still resting on his tongue.
He'd stand on the tip of his toes as he walked, mostly for being silent as he had been taught when he was a kid. His father uses to joke that they learned the technique from foxes. Which always made sense to Nureru, he liked to think that every time he took steps like this he was a cute little fox, but more accurate to say a Kitsune, a trickster. He liked those more, and the memories of his father telling stories about those magical foxes had long since begun to fade, but still the faint speaking of his voice and knowledge of them remained for now. Though there were times like now when he thought back to his father that he wondered how long would it be until those memories were also taken and destroyed by nightmares. Non the less, his smile remained unwavering. The sad thoughts simply had to be replaced by happy ones, like being able to kill someone soon, and eventually revenge. Yes, it was simply just a matter of pushing those things all the way down till they no longer nagged him and then simply letting them out again with healthy coping mechanisms, like pain, or fighting, or killing. Yup, it was just a matter of time now before he would be able to let loose and he knew it. That for Nureru was the best payment of all. Though the money and merit he'd gain from this were nice too. In his mind this was a win, win situation!
He took a glance around as they walked, being sure to look out for any traps. He knew the guy had just made it to the train yard but he also didn't know how long the guy had to set up, for all he knew there could be numerous traps around and they were being lured into it. That wasn't all though, if the guy had truly set them up this could be the place where he was to meet reinforcements by chance. If he had been selling the information he was only as good as the information that came only useful as long as it came. If this was the end of the rope then it was unlikely to help was on its way, but with goodie goodies, you could never be too sure, they liked to do what was "noble" and "right" and Nureru despised those type of people the most. Though still a single question was left nagging in the back of Nureru's mind how did "Splitter" he was called get caught.

Émile listened intently, refusing to lower his cane. On one hand, Juro's reassurance of how dangerous this "Splitter" person was wasn't all that reassuring to someone such as Émile. He had an appreciation for thrills, but not when they seemingly were too dangerous for organized criminals to deal with on their own. The fact that his employer was essentially letting the older gentleman name his price was especially telling. Unfortunately that did do the trick. If the man was a bad enough of a negotiator to give in to demands before they had even been made, there was a lot of potential in that offer.
There was the alternative explanation for such rushed behavior, of course, but that wasn't worth contemplating right now.
Émile's cane turned its head to point towards Juro as they finished. The older man was silent for a moment as he tried to come up with a good deal, before giving up and simply playing it cool for now. "We shall continue this conversation afterwards." The cane was finally lowered with a hearty tap on the ground. "And for the sake of our continued partnership, do not call me by that name again." Émile joined the others as he grumbled quietly to himself, while at the same time activating his quirk. The larvae started to generate within his stomach as they walked, feasting on the leftovers of Émile's lunch as the three started to make their way to the scene proper, trailing behind the other two ever so slightly.
Émile didn't prefer that Kai had taken the lead, but continued to let him do so since it seemed like the path of least resistance. Émile also unfortunately couldn't comply with the man's command to stay quiet due to his cane, but for the sake of his own safety, he omitted from making his taps snappier to gauge how irritated Kai could get. Whereas the other person... Taoru, was it? The old man had responded to his nod with a half-forced smile and a nod of his own. Émile still had no idea what to make of the man. It was very much the opposite of Kai, who was explicitly obvious of what they were thinking about.
Émile didn't say anything quite yet as his thoughts concentrated on the internal metamorphosis, running through the factors to consider for their features. As a result, he may have become somewhat complacent about his surroundings, but surely these two fine gentlemen were suited for such a simple task while Émile was preparing to do the real work.

Juro didn't pay much attention in the last bits of the discussion, he had already fooled the trio into thinking Splitter was the enemy. His goal had been accomplished. Kai complained about not getting as much money, but Juro shrugged carelessly. Taoru seemed as ignorant as ever, for once that was a good thing. Emile requested not to be called by the name Juro had been addressing him as, and mentioned that the two would discuss his payment later. Juro simply gave him a nod before the trio headed off to do his bidding.
The three would eventually find themselves in the abandoned train yard after a few minutes. It looked rather huge, but in all actuality it was only around a mile or so in each direction. It was nighttime so the groups sight would likely be hindered slightly, but there were a few noticeable sights throughout the are. The first of which was expected, there were around six different train cars on the floor they were on, the second was an area above them, train tracks led to it but from where they were there was no way of knowing what lied in waiting for them. Should they head that way, they would likely notice a burning smell...
Splitter lit a cigar as he waited for the inevitable hit squad Juro would've called, "Man that bastard, who would've thought he would betray us like this. Not only that, but he turned this whole thing around on me! I swear when I get out of here..." But that was the problem, he had no idea how to get out of his current predicament. Juro was nearby so any chance of escape was squandered. But he had evidence of Juro's betrayal! He had to somehow get the information out there! The only question was how...He took the cigar out of his mouth for a moment, man this was a predicament.

Kai nodded to Nureru, who he trusted to stick by him and be quiet. Emile, on the other hand, he eyed with disdain, specifically noting the cane. As they walked it tapped the ground. Over and over again. It wasn’t a particularly loud tap, but it was noticeabe enough that Kai found himself almost wincing every time he heard it. His nerves were being grated on as they made their way to the trainyard.
At one point, before they got to close, Kai had to whip around on the old bastard, “Can’t you be any fucking quieter, old man? That fucking stick is gonna give us away!” He was pissed and he seething, but he still managed to keep his voice low. He didn’t have patience for this shit, but he also wasn’t about to jeopardize their position himself. That would make him a fucking hypocrite if there ever was one. “You know what, just stay out here. We’ll scope it out and meet you back here, got that?”
Without even waiting for the old man’s response, Kai gestured to Nureru to follow him, He knew the guy was quiet as the dead. Couldn’t hear the big guy sneaking up on you even if you knew he was coming for you. He knew his shit. He had trained for it all his life, no fucking doubt. Kai was really glad to have him by his side as much as he freaked him the fuck out at the same time. It was a weird feeling to be friendly with someone who also scared the shit out of you, even for a kid who grew up in the Family.
Kai and hopefully just Nureru entered the trainyard then. Kai immediately ducked behind one of the train cars nearest the entrance and peaked out slightly to look around the area. It was mostly empty. Didn’t look or sound like there was anyone around, at least in this area. He could see that the first section ended further back while the train tracks angled upward and continued on. The next level, maybe that was where Splitter was hiding. Kai rolled his shoulder against the train car back behind it and raised two fingers to wave Nureru forward. They would be advancing.
Kai did his best to follow the train cars through the yard, keeping an eye out whenever he traveled between them. He kept on the side that was the least exposed to the rest of the area until they came upon the lip. Kai ducked underneath the raised platform. The smell of smoke wafted by, which he picked up almost immediately. It wasn’t cigarette smoke, at least he didn’t think so. He smelled that shit all the time around plenty of the other members of the Family he hung out with. No this was a bit sweeter, a cigar, probably. Either way, smoke like this meant a smoker. Someone was definitely in that next area.
Kai turned around, still in a crouch, and peaked up over the lip to gaze out on the upper area. It was as dimly lit as the rest of the trainyard, but he could see a little circle of orange not too far away at all. It was a cigar, held by the shape of a man Kai knew. He started talking just then, and Kai was just in range to hear him, only losing a couple words here and there. That was definitely Splitter’s voice, no fucking doubt. Kai glanced at Nureru and gave him a look as if to ask if he was hearing the same shit. Who was Splitter talking about being betrayed by? Wasn’t he the traitor here? And then there was something about the whole thing being turned around on him. Something wasn’t right here.
Frowning, Kai waved to Nureru once again, this time back toward the first area’s entrance. He began to make his way back, following the same route, if it had proven safe enough the first time around. Assuming Emile hadn’t followed them in, Kai made his way back to the old bastard with a disgruntled look on his face. “He’s definitely in there. Looks like he is alone, too, for now. Might be the best time to grab him ASAP. But something’s not right. He was talking about getting betrayed, just muttering to himself, but I caught most of it. He seems to think 'the whole thing' was turned out on him.” Kai explained with a scowl, scratching the back of his head, “Listen, I know this guy. Thought I knew him at least. Never thought he’d be a traitor. Not once. I was ready to fuck him up, but something feels off about this whole fucking thing now.”
