London was as loud as the ravenette remembered.
There was something quaint about her residence back in Japan. It was something that the rambunctious teen had come to appreciate- a calmness in a life that didn't slow down. Jun was constantly up to no good, much to her poor parent's both disbelief and disappointment, and the flirt had no time to stop and smell the roses in a world that wouldn't do the same for her.
Walking down the long hallway of the Prism estate to return to her room, Jun was sure that the mansion would surely scare her friend off. Filled with near endless, pointless rooms and a hollowness that made words shared between the two that temporarily dwelled there bounce off the walls. It puts me at ease, her mother had always said. She'd lived in a similarly styled and shaped shell of a mansion her entire life and always had complaints about it. Too big, too lifeless. The decision to live in an almost exact replica of her old family estate back home that left nothing but a bitter taste in her mouth was the only thing that Jun ever questioned about her mother, and she did so especially now as the matron of the family laid in her flesh prison back home in Musatafu.
Theodore was to be arriving soon, surely with his younger brother in tow like he said he would, and she stood with her head rested in her hands idly at her balcony. The trees swayed and birds chirped in the garden below, and the sound of the fountain splashing against the water was grating on the girl's restless mind. All that she could think about was school on this so called 'break', and it wasn't even the academics that were driving her insane.
It was her.
Salmon-colored hair pulled back loosely, an expensive perfume sprayed where Jun had pinpointed was the nape of her neck. The sunlight that shone in through the window made her eyes look like topaz- glistening like two pristine jewels. Still, it wasn't just her looks. It was her wit, her pushback. There was always a comeback when it came to Emi, and she was fiery. And God, it annoyed Jun. It drove her crazy. The lax girl would never let it show, but the idea of developing a crush on someone not within her preferred type was madness.
"What's gotten into me?" Jun scoffed, running a hand through raven hair that wasn't tied up in it's usual hairband. It was puberty, it had to be. That raging hormonal fire that refused to quit around the prettiest girl in the whole damn school. There was no reason for her to feel this way about a girl she hardly knew.
One of the workers that helped around the house called through the closed door that a car had arrived, and the teenager sighed. Pushing herself off from her comfy spot on her balcony, the sugar addict took the leisurely stroll through her old room back into the long corridor ahead,"God, it's like this bloody house is dead." She spoke in her native tongue freely, the accent of her father and her own homeland coating her words. The grand staircase joined the two sections of the houses together- right and left wing- and she'd perch herself against the bannister that overlooked the main hall. It felt like a lie not to mention her family's wealth to her friends at U.A., let alone the friend that decided to grace her day with his presence.
The sugar addict hoped he could forgive this small secret, and keep it from the rest of the school. Jun was, after all, the relatable one.

Steam rose from the head of the locomotive that barreled down the train tracks towards London, letting out a shrill whistle that surely the entire country could hear- at least if you asked Theodore’s opinion. The muscular boy was excited to see his friend for sure, but things started off in an annoying direction when his parents insisted that he wear nice clothes to London, especially since he was meeting a girl. Even upon explaining that Jun was just a friend of his and that she wasn’t even in to guys, his fussy mother was stubborn- which was why the young boy was dressed in a teal button up dress shirt that hardly fit along his muscular frame and a pair of black slacks with a belt and dress shoes. His little brother, Steven, had the same rules imposed on him- though his formal wear was odd as usual. The younger brother was shorter than Theodore, had spiky brown hair as opposed to his older sibling’s clean and put together style, and wore a pair of brown boots, black tights, and a white dress shirt with suspenders. If it weren’t for the two boys similar facial structures and how they sat so closely to each other, their appearances and demeanor would make it nigh impossible for anyone else to tell they were related.
Steven was restless- excited to head into the city for a day out, and more importantly, meet one of Theodore’s friends from UA. Aside from his older brother, the kid didn’t know of anyone else interested in heroics, so meeting another student seemed like a prime opportunity. His knees were pressed against the coach seat as he stared out the window, watching the scenery pass by with a bored expression. Theodore on the other hand was reading a fantasy novel that had come out earlier in the year- though from what he’d seen so far, it wasn’t really groundbreaking compared to similar books. Suddenly however, Steven’s expression would perk up as he rapidly tapped his brother’s shoulder: ”Theo theo theo theo theo theo theo!” he called out repeatedly, earning him the ire of their fellow passengers, as well as frustration from his older sibling, ”Calm down- what is it?” he said, taking a good look at the current page he was on before slamming the book closed. ”We’re here- look!”
As he craned his neck back to see out the window, an announcement from the train’s intercom system would inform them that they’d reached London. ”About time” he said, a sigh of relief escaping him as his mouth curled into a small smile. The train ride was only an hour, but public transport was always annoying- especially when your younger brother was tagging along. Theodore loved Steven dearly, but sometimes that kid was too much to handle. Thankfully though, they were able to make it out of the train and onto the platform, Theodore pulling out his cell phone to check the texts from Jun about her address and when to meet her. ”Great- we should be able to make it with a few minutes to spare” he remarked as he grabbed Steven’s hand with one of his own and waved the other to hail a cab.
After getting inside, he’d give the address to the cabbie, which earned them a raised eyebrow before he nodded and made his way there. ”What’s your friend like? What’s her name? Is she Japanese? Does she speak English?” he asked, bombarding his poor older brother with questions. ”Cool, Jun, Kind of, and Yes” he responded almost without batting an eye. He was used to how Steven acted by now, though his constant questioning and excitable personality often irritated people- even his fellow classmates. The cab began to slow down before finally stopping, the cabbie announcing that they’d arrived and what the final cost of the ride was. Looking out the window however, Theodore couldn’t believe his eyes.
Outside was an enormous mansion, the likes of which he’d never seen outside of TV or the internet before. This couldn’t really be Jun’s house, could it? He knew her mom was a hero but...did heroes make that much? Or perhaps maybe her dad had some kind of amazing job? Either way, his expression was dumbfounded as he took out his wallet and began to pay the driver. ”I didn’t know she was rich!” Steven called out. ”Me neither.”
As the two stepped inside, they were met with an enormous entryway the likes of which they’d never seen before. ”Hello, is anyone there? It’s me, Theodore- I brought my little brother too” he called out as he looked around. His eyes finally settled on the familiar face leaning against the bannister above them, nodding his head in greeting: ”So this was the right place. Hello Jun” he called out with a smile, though his expression still showed a sense of confusion and disbelief. Steven would step out from behind his brother, waving hello with a toothy grin.

A grin would spread across her cheeks when her friend and his brother appeared through the entrance,"Yep. This is it~" In one smooth motion, the sugar addict would slide down the stairwell haphazardly to greet them. With how fluidly she moved, it was obvious the rambunctious teenager had done so at each opportunity when the Prism's still lived in the grand estate. Still, it didn't stop her from nearly tripping over her own feet the second she landed. Jun, always as smooth as butter, adjusted herself afterwards and pretended like that clumsy bit after the cool one never happened.
"Teddy, I hope you can forgive me not mentioning my mum's wealth~" A cheeky smirk still curled on the corners of her thin lips, Jun crossed her arms in front of her as she leaned down to get closer to the little one in their presence,"And you must be... Steven?" Her eyebrows would raise whimsically, and her hand would be unfolded from underneath her arm to point just behind her at the staircase,"There's an arcade upstairs. Second door on the left~" Jun's mother was a strange woman- elegant when it mattered, but a complete shut-in when it didn't. The mansion that was made in her own childhood estate's spitting image was one that was filled with odd rooms and even stranger memories, but the oldest of the Prism twins hadn't bothered her dear mother for details. It was a time that was dead, much like Jun's own time in the massive house, and it should stay that way.
Hoping that Steven would run off and find the specified game room, the ravenette straightened her back and focused on her friend, the black mop that fell along her back and shoulders swaying,"Came just on time, dude. I couldn't be arsed to accommodate to guests, but I'm sure one of the helpers can grab us some snacks if you'd like." Finally letting the swear words flow through that crooked mouth of hers, Jun let out a sigh despite her grin. The entire business trip had been nothing but boring- a snooze fest filled with following her dad places that didn't interest her and watching grass die in the garden of the family estate. To see a familiar face, especially someone she considered a good friend, put the sugar addict's mind at ease. For once, her mind hadn't gone to girls this entire trip.
It had, more disappointingly to the lesbian, gone to Theodore's face,"As much as I would like to finally bloody relax and take some time to not think of Pinkie, I need some advice. You're a good, strong lad with the entirety of the straight and female student body nipping at your heels, Teddy-" She couldn't contain the snorting laugh that followed the lie, continuing through poorly-muffled chuckles. A hand would find his shoulder and she gave him a thumbs up with the other,"You're my only hope, O' Eligible Bachelor-san~" The entirety of her words were spoken in her native tongue, made perfect with the last bit spoken with her heavy-accent. It was joking like this so easily that made her quite fond of Theodore, and her smile was a genuine one instead of the usual plastic smirk that she wore as a defense mechanism.
Besides, she had no reason to feel otherwise. Though Eli currently held the title of 'best bud', it was Teddy all along.

Theodore would match Jun’s grin with a toothy smile of his own as she slid down the bannister, nearly tripping over herself after landing. ”Nice place you got here” he commented, quickly glancing around the large entryway once more. ”I’m not sure why you were hiding it, but don’t sweat it. I can keep it a secret if you like- no big deal.” Some called the boy naive, but he and his parents liked to think of it as ‘trusting’. Jun was his friend, and if she wanted to keep her wealth a secret, then she must have a good reason for it. The burly Brit was more than willing to trust his friend.
As his classmate turned her attention towards his brother, Steven would step out from behind the shadow of his older sibling and respond in a prideful manner: ”Pleasure to meet you~” he said, trying- and failing- to act sophisticated before the girl mentioned an arcade upstairs. ”For real?!” he called out, looking to his brother for confirmation. After a sigh and a head nod from Theodore, the boy would dart up the steps and out of side, presumably towards the arcade. He’d sigh, thankful to have Steven out of his hair, but worried about the trouble he might cause.
”I’m happy to help! You don’t have to worry about snacks or accommodating me or whatever, but you might want to send one of your helpers to keep an eye on Steven- just to make sure he doesn’t break anything or get into trouble” he explained with an awkward chuckle, thankful that she didn’t give him too much of a hard time for bringing him.
As she went on to talk about her issues with Emi, she’d crack a joke at his expense, eliciting a bout of laughter from the boy as he lightly jabbed his elbow into her shoulder: ”Yeah, you know me- total stud” he joked, already rebuilding the rapport they had going before vacation started. The fact that the two were able to laugh at their own expense and keep a light atmosphere made things simple- and was a major reason why Jun was one of his closer friends back at school- that and of course the fact that they both spoke English. ”Can’t believe I’m seeing your hair down though- are you finally giving up on trying to look presentable?” he jabbed back in a humorous tone, being one who dished out just as much as they received.
After the laughter had ceased and the mood was right however, he’d let off on the jokes for a moment to focus on the problem at hand. ”Right, so Emi. I thought she was sort of cute myself- so I can’t blame you. What’s your relationship with her like right now?”

An eyebrow raised as Theodore commented on her hair, the same mischievous smirk worn on her lips,"Uncalled for, Teddy. I thought I looked ravishing~" It was laziness that brought her hair cascading along her back and shoulders like a black waterfall, but it was a lack of truly caring that kept it there regardless of the hair band that she wore around her wrist. Being that it was just her friend, the ravenette couldn't bring herself to look presentable when it came to him. Long dead were the days where Jun would have rather built a wall made of plastic smiles and honeyed words.
It took a little while, but the sugar addict finally found someone who she could start being her genuine self in front of. Whether it was mutual or not.
"Can't get a read on Pinkie. I crack all sorts of jokes and flex my super impressive muscles and she's just... nothin'. Not even phased a little bit." Jun would sigh melodramatically, her hand leaving Teddy's shoulder to run through her bangs,"I mean, yeah she's cute, but that can't be all I see, y'know? I'm sure there's a ton more to her an' all, but I gotta get closer to see it." The way that the Prism child went about life was as if she was playing a character- drama in every movement with a dash of comedic effect. She was quick to flourish her hands about when explaining what was happening between the two girls, her shoulders tensely moving up on their own. To say she was a bit nervous about the whole ordeal was an understatement. Going into murky waters with a girl she hardly knew was always going to be scary, but it was only her that could bite the bullet when it came down to it. Theodore wasn't trying to be the one that seduces her.
There could only be one narcissistic knight in shining armor, and Jun was determined to be it.
"I'm thinkin' about maybe bein' a bit more forward with how I talk to her. Maybe not like, y'know, exactly flirting but maybe more like... nudging her with that sort of speak. Does that make sense...?" No, it didn't make sense. Not in the slightest. And Jun realized this fact very quickly as she chuckled awkwardly, the shrug of her shoulders relaxing as she slid her nervous hands into her sweat pockets. With a slight shake of her head, the same jovial mask was back on and Jun was replaced with her much more composed self,"Tea? Sounds like tea time." Bringing her arm up to motion towards the archway that leads to the kitchen, the ravenette grinned the same as she always did,"You seem like an Earl Gray kind of bloke, Tedster~"

”Yeah, girls can be confusing sometime” he said without thinking, not even considering Jun in the category of people who left him scratching his head. She was simple to understand- or at least so he thought. ”It seems like those more superficial things won’t really strike a chord with her then. Maybe you have to connect on a deeper level?” he asked before chuckling, ”That might be impossible for you. Perhaps giving up is an option?” he teased. Still, he’d quickly correct himself considering how stressed his friend was over the situation: ”Just kidding, by the way. You said yourself that there has to be more to her than looks- and the same goes for you. The best thing to do would be to have a real heart to heart, get to know one another better. How to set that up though is the question…” he answered, trailing off.
What Jun said seemed to reflect his idea...kind of? Maybe? It didn’t really make much sense to be honest. One thing that was clear however before she threw her facade back on however, was that Ms. Prism was genuinely nervous. Theodore couldn’t claim to know her incredibly well with the amount of time they’d been friends, but in all that time, this was the first situation where he’d seen her lose that cool and easy going demeanor. Perhaps it was just a little bit of anxiousness, but that wouldn’t stop the burly Brit from worrying nevertheless. ”Yeah, Earl Gray is fine” he answered, his expression and tone quieter and reflecting more concern.
He’d head into the kitchen and take a seat while Jun got a kettle ready, tapping his fingers against the table in thought before finally slamming them down with a light thump. ”What about an interview?” he offered. ”She runs a blog, right? Maybe you could give her an interview as a foreign student. It’d give you a chance to talk to her in a setting she enjoys, and give her a little more insight into the real Jun.”

The nerves were starting to build up in the girl, more than she realized. Typically, Jun remained as cool as cucumber- rarely was she ever bothered. Or more so she used to be this way. After the way things ended after the Sports Festival and the belittlement she faced from people she thought were her friends, her emotional fuse was much shorter than she would have preferred. It left her in one of the worst states she could think of.
Vulnerable.
The sound of hands hitting the table made her jump slightly, but she was always quick to recover,"The real Jun. Right. Why didn't I think of that...?" The ravenette filled the kettle with water, closing the lid at the top before placing it on the stove. Her face was washed of all previous mischief from their banter and had been, instead, replaced with a frown. Who was she really? An overflow of negativity flooded her mind as she searched for an answer only to be whisked away by the sudden thoughts. The lax girl that people in Japan had come to know as Jun Prism was quickly replaced with the insecure girl born and raised in England, but only the stove would be able to see the confusion and sadness that blended together on her face. Stubborn, prideful, weak- it was the only traits of the real Jun that came to mind. Who was she if not a coward that hid her true feelings behind a foolish grin that people had come to depend on? Why couldn't they depend on her?!
Gulping back the growing lump to push down the emotions she kept behind lock and key once more, the sugar addict flicked on the stove and turned to Teddy with the same smirk she'd always had,"Gee, Ted, and I thought you were just the brawn of this operation. What a genius idea~" While the water inside the kettle heated up, Jun reached into the cupboard just beside the refrigerator to grab two mugs- one blue and the other a purple one with a poorly painted cat on the side. It was her mug, and she kept it at home where it should be. After all, Japan was just a stop in her life. The ravenette had always planned on coming back to the mansion she hated to live where she belonged. No matter what happened or who she met, England was her home.
The pantry was mostly empty apart from a box of teabags and a few cans of soup. Earl Gray, just as Jun said she'd whip up, would be taken and placed in each mug to wait while the water heated. In the meantime, the sugar addict took a seat with her friend. Instead of sitting like a normal person would, Jun was compelled to straddle the seat and rest her head on the back of it,"I'm pretty sure her blog is all about... like heroes and all that shit. Would feel kinda odd tellin' her to interview some random kid with nothin' special about me." She'd give a self-deprecating laugh before running a hand through her bangs, giving that same plastic smile all the while,"I'm sure we can think of something... I can't just invite her to my cafe after hours to taste test shit or something stupid like that..."

Theodore couldn’t see Jun’s expressions that only her kitchen stove was privy to. He couldn’t read her mind, and he wasn’t able to decipher exactly how she was feeling- but he did pick up on the little things. The way she jumped at his hands meeting the table, her general demeanor and seemingly forced smile. There was no way the big doofus could tell how she was really feeling or how bad things were- but he at least knew his friend well enough to know that something was wrong. She’d trail off in her response to his suggestion, flicking on the stove to heat the kettle before turning around with that old, familiar smirk- sending a playful jab his way- as she usually did. If that was all he had to go on, then Theodore wouldn’t be able to tell anything was different from how Jun normally was- but the little snippets he managed to catch in between informed him that everything might not be so hunky dory. For now though, he’d push the thought to the back of his mind, choosing to focus on the present instead. ”If you think about it, the brain is just another muscle~” he chimed in, not knowing whether or not there was any truth behind that statement whatsoever.
”Heroes, huh? Well...isn’t your mom a professional hero? I bet she’d be interested in an interview from a big shot’s daughter- though you’d have to figure out how to change the focus back to you sometime afterwards. Maybe invite her to your pastry shop after the interview for a celebratory cake or something? Ahhh, I don’t know” he admitted, ruffling a hand through his hair as he strained to think of an idea. Amidst the awkwardness, muffled sounds of shouting and stomping could be heard from upstairs- presumably Steven going wild over the arcade.
”I’ll be honest with you Jun, because I trust you. I’m not very...good with all of this dating stuff. I had a lot of bad experiences with it in middle school, and I don’t really know what I’m doing- heck, I’m scared to even think about dating at UA myself. So my advice might not be that great. Even still, if there’s anything I can do to help you out- I’d really like to” he said, showing a moment of sincere concern and empathy for his friend. The two usually kept things light hearted- bantering amongst each other and not taking things too seriously- but if something really was up with his friend, then he wanted to help.
”Uhh, what do you do for fun? Aside from like, training to be a hero and your pastry stuff. What kinda hobbies are you into?” he asked. ”Aside from video games and my daily routines, I like to play guitar and sing. You have any artsy or fun stuff you’re into that could be fun to do with Emi?”

”Well...isn’t your mom a professional hero? I bet she’d be interested in an interview from a big shot’s daughter-"
It was a shot that Teddy hadn't even known would pierce deep into Jun's hearts and bury itself there, but it didn't make the bullet any less painful. She remembered seeing her mother on the television screen well, her vigilante name in big bold letters as yet another criminal was taken down. The feeling of pride that swelled in her chest just from knowing that she could grow up to become just like her mother someday was something that Jun never forgot. Even during the move to U.A.- which was long after the accident- there was still a shred of a childlike hope left in her. Maybe it wasn't too late to be the hero that Mom always wanted me to be, the naive girl thought, I could finally do something that was worth making her proud.
She could still remember her father's crushed voice on the phone saying that there had been an accident. The hospital bed where her mother sat, hooked to machines just to stay alive in those crucial hours. Dread was always supposed to be a fleeting feeling- a fear so strong that starts at the pit of your stomach and eats it whole. But, it had an end. It was always supposed to have an end.
That dread ate Jun whole.
Her mother was never a pro hero. 'Twas never what I wanted, she'd always say, but Jun the real reason. It was the last bit of freedom she had, clinging to it as if losing her ability to walk was somehow worth it. How could being so selfless end so poorly? How could Jun even think to protect the ones she loved and be a hero if it meant losing her everything?
Jun stayed silent as Teddy talked about girls and about his own experience with them, listening but taking little in. It wasn't until a buzzword mixed in with a question tone that made pulled her from her daze,"Hobbies?" God, did she even have any apart from the ones he excluded from her already short list?
"There's sports." A voice responded for her from the doorway. A tall, lean man stood against the frame, grinning the same sly smile that Jun always wore on her lips. He still looked young- blonde hair pulled back into a loose ponytail with an equally light goatee to match. The eyes that looked both of the students down were eerily blue and hid much behind them, much like Jun's own. His voice sent the girl right back into the shell that Teddy was slowly pulling her out of, and she mirrored her father's expression,"Bloody participation trophies don't count, Pops." Gale had swooped in at the perfect time. A second more and Jun might have turned out like one of those students in the chatroom that overshare, and she would've hated to do so when the conversation used to be so light and airy.
Walking into the kitchen and towards the table, the blonde nodded towards his daughter's friend,"I don't believe we've met. I'm Gale, Jun's dad~" He had charisma, that was for sure. It was plain to see just where the ravenette had gotten it, and he'd extend a hand out to greet Theodore,"With how often Jun brings home company, we were sure she hadn't made any friends." Gale chuckled, ruffling the mess of black atop his daughter's head with his free hand. With the greetings now out of the way, the blonde walked over to the kettle just before it was ready to give it's loud whistle and poured it into the mugs on the counter,"So, what's this about girls?"

Theodore would gradually start to drift off as he realized Jun didn’t quite seem… all there. Was it something he’d said? Did it have to do with her mother? In all honesty, Theodore probably didn’t know as much about heroes and vigilantes as the other kids who attended UA. He’d never really paid much attention to that whole culture growing up, and had only decided to become a hero after someone came to speak at his middle school 2 years ago. He was aware that Jun’s mother was a big name, but he didn’t really know about her accident or any of the details- so there was no way the burly Brit could know just how harsh his words had seemed to Jun. As he was about to stop speaking all together, she seemed to come to life a little at the mention of hobbies, responding briefly before another person entered the fray.
A tall, blonde man with eyes and a smile very similar to Jun’s own leaned against the door frame, bringing up sports. Jun’s expression would return to her usual sly smile, countering the man’s point. Just like that, his friend had gone from being lost in a daze to back in her typical form. It was...unnerving. Theodore was a fairly gullible young man, and usually didn’t notice subtleties, but even he felt like something was off about Jun’s sudden shift in mood. Nevertheless… he hesitated. He didn’t feel close enough to his friend yet to prod any further- and he especially felt as though digging deeper wouldn’t be appropriate once the man revealed his identity as Jun’s father, Gale.
He’d stride over towards Theodore, offering a hand in greeting- which the boy would grab firmly and shake in response: ”That so?” he asked, a small grin making its way back onto his face, ”I figured I’d stop by since I was visiting my family back in Oxford. You have a lovely home, Mr. Prism, sir” he said, trying to speak respectfully towards her father. He’d give Jun’s hair a quick, playful ruffle before moving towards the kettle and pouring their tea, asking about the conversation at hand. ”Ah, you would probably be more help than me. There’s a girl back at school that Jun likes- but I was just telling her that I might not be much help since I’m not exactly an expert at dating myself. This girl runs a blog for UA and is somewhat tricky to get a hold of at times- do you have any advice?” he asked, figuring that an adult, married man would probably be more helpful than he was.

Gale smiled graciously at the compliment towards his living space, strolling over with mugs in hand to place them on table,"Honestly, it's just Jun's mother's house. I'm just living in it." An airy chuckle would leave him as he returned to his spot near the kitchen counter, fingers tapping against the marble surface rhythmically. As Theodore explained the situation, Jun was only able to stay silent with both of her hands coiled around the mug. Asking for help wasn't something that the ravenette ever did easily. Even agreeing to her burly friend's offer to aid her in her quest to conquer the young blogger's heart was quite the task. Truly trusting someone was always difficult, especially for Jun. And especially when it came to her father.
"Seducing someone is an art, or maybe even a war." The way that Gale spoke was unintentionally melodramatic- a swirl of emotion that he made obvious with fanciful movements of his hands. Jun was more than used to it, and could zone both his voice and the agitating flourishes with ease. There were often times in her childhood where it put her in hot water, but the sugar addict was never one for subtlety. The way she spoke to him and about him...
Jun preferred her mother. Or, even further than that, disliked her father. Call it the blatant favoritism that he displayed for his 'genius daughter, Nora' or all of the characteristics that she'd inherited from him, but she was already past the starting point of hatred when middle school began,"Either way, it takes practice. Jun was flirting with babysitters since she was still in diapers, so she should have no trouble on that front." The blonde continued,"The real tricky part, though, is if the blogger girl even rolls that way." It was a fair point, and one that the ravenette hadn't even thought of. Though, she wouldn't outwardly speak about this one lapse of thought. The last thing she needed was her father teasing her for not thinking again, and sipped the Earl Gray from her mug with disinterested glint in her eye for her father,"Flowery words for someone that was asked out on a date out of pity~" It came out as a joke, but she couldn't help the smarmy grin that curled at her lips as Gale chuckled at it unknowingly,"Yeah, fair. I'm sure you can get this girl to do the same." This was the kind of father-daughter relationship that they had- the two of them taking jabs at each other until the other forfeited. Typically it would be their mother that would separate them, but Jun stopped voluntarily. Company was over, after all, and giving her best bud the wrong idea of her even with her recent negative outlook wouldn't be the best idea.
Her impossibly blue eyes would shift to Theodore, the same Jun-like smirk on her lips,"How's that sound, Teddy? Getting Emi to go out out of pity would be a piece of cake~"
