 at most I'm sleeping all these demons away Today did not seem to be as any other day, she woke up early but the only thing that changed this 9th of April was that she had to go to work for a meeting with her boss. They were going to discuss a few things she should do considering the pregnancy and the time she needed off after she gave birth, it was far in the future but it would be a good idea to already know it and how to fix it in the future. She fixed herself this morning properly and went to work together with G. It made her happy to get a bit back on her normal schedule, she smiled as she leaned against G in the cab and looked outside. "I can't wait to go back to work only for this." She said with a chuckle, the thing was that it was for her own health and good thoughts that she stayed at home and occasionally went to work only to pick up new information and to work out better information for a lot of things. She was also done with new blogs and the articles for Lady Scandal. She arrived early in the morning and talked shortly with Lisa who seemed to be rather enthusiastic about her return for a while and that she caught her and Hanako felt actually really happy about talking to Lisa for that matter, it was also useful that Yuuki wasn't here. She excused herself to Lisa and went on to read the paper and catch up with her text messages for Scandal. She stared at her screen. Hanako... Misushi... Hanako Mizuki... No. No, no that was highly unlikely. She felt trembling but G did go away drinking right. She stood up rather quick, threw the phone in her bag, followed by everything else that she was okay to carry with and slammed the door of her office behind her. "Are you okay Hanako?" Lisa asked her and she walked past her, she did not want Lisa to see her crying, "Tell our boss I am not coming, something happened. Actually, I am not coming the rest of this week either." She hurried down the hallway to go to the elevator and hurried out on the street, in the mean time she had already ordered a cab through an app on her phone and when she arrived outside, now really crying as she had read the text message at least four more times. She hurried past Nifuji and possibly G and took the cab waiting there and gave him the address, she tried to stop crying. This cab driver did not have to know. She was lucky that the green lights were on when it came to traffic lights and twenty minutes later she arrived at their house, no G's house. She no longer had a house. The hell what should she do. She asked the driver to stay and that she would be back in a second. She hurried out of the cab, which wasn't as easy as she hoped, opened the door and hurried up the stairs to grab her little suitcase and stuff her clothing in it and grabbed her make up article. She stared at her engagement ring and took it off before putting it on the nightstand on her side of the bed. She cried again. Why. Why. Why. She could not stop repeating the one word in her mind. Why. He knew. He had said so, he had not used the words against her to prevent her from panicking and yet, was that even the truth? MADE BY VEL OF GS |

G was at work, just doing average security guard business with Nifuji. Obvious to what was going on. As he just worked and guarded at his station, he saw Hanako rush out of the building. She hid her face but G saw it. She was crying.
"H-Hey Hana!" he went to check on her, but she entered a cab. He didnt even noticed that a cab was waiting for her. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong
"You hold down the fort for me" he told Nifuji and quickly halted one cab and told them the right address, their home. Assuming she went there. But knowing Hana, she probably did.
It took a while as his light swere not just green but red. But eventually G arrived home, he looked around, but venetually decided to go to their bedroom, where he saw Hana put her ring on the nightstand
"H-Hana? Whats wrong?" he asked, slightly frightened, he didnt know what upset her this badly that she had to leave work. G was slightly worried, something made him afraid. It was like a terrible gut feeling, a terrible intuition. G hoped he was wrong in what he was feeling. It couldnt be that, right?

Forget it, it was in the past, it did not matter anymore, right? Right? But why? Why? She was maybe okay, with the whole idea of them getting a little one, but if this was how... she was not sure if she could handle and she shook her head, she did not even try to stop the tears. She was so confused about everything that she did not have to consider much. She took the handles of her bag and wanted to lift it up off the bed, damn, she could not carry so much at one go and she had not even thought about taking shoes or anything else for that matter. She would figure that out later. She had so much to figure out later, it could all come to later, but she had to get out of this house. She did not know what to say but G was hopefully- nope. Nope of course not. She looked up when she heard her name. "What is wrong?" She said with a trembling sound in her voice, she hated it. She hated how he made her weak! He made her vulnerable, he did this to her and she... she was not even sure if she was angry. Her heart told her to stop it, to forget it, what did it matter now but her brain yelled at her to go now. You should leave and not return, he did not care about your opinion, he did not dare to trust you, not to give you time, it was a lie, a lie, he is a liar.
"What's wrong is that you lied to me. You said-You said." She shook her head and took the bag and wanted to get out of their bedroom, no his bedroom. She had no place to go. It made her feel more lost than ever, she thought that she was safe here and had everything she wanted but now, now she had to go. "Was it so important?" She could not stop but say, "Was it more important than me? You kept saying it, why was I so blind, everything to keep the baby, you would raise it alone if I did not want it, so what am I to you? A tool? Something replaceable as long as you get a baby? I-I thought..." She could not finish her sentence, she turned her eyes away from him, she could not even yell at him, she should not look at him as it made her weak in her knees, she should not, she should walk away, so she made her way to the door with the bag in her right hand. "What is wrong?" the way Hana said those words, it made him tremble in fear. He hoped it wasnt going to happen. He hoped and prayed as he listened to Hana speak
"What? Lied to you?? Hana, you're not a tool! I love you and him equally!" he said, scared and just praying she doesnt break up with him. How did this happen? How did she know? Can he salvage the situation? G walked slowly and carefully towards Hana. Maybe a hug would make things better? He doubted but he had to try.
As he slowly and carefully approached her, he spoke "You're not a tool and never will be. I also suggested you let me raise the baby if you didnt want it. I couldnt bear that our child gets to be yanked out by a medical fork. It's terrible and I thought there would be more humane alternatives if you didnt want him. I wanted to find a solution that would make both of us happy." he spoke and then he attempted to hug her. Hoping that she wouldnt move away from him or just outright slap him. He did consider both of those possibilities, but once again, he had to gamble and do something

It hurt so much to consider what she felt and even if he said that and even if her heart screamed to accept the words, it hurt even more. It was breaking. Little cracks on the surface that only ripped open more and felt like bleeding, if he loved her... if he loved her than why at all... Why? Why for heaven's sake did he do this? Why did he lie to her. "You lied to me!" She could say it normally but instead she snapped, "You said we could wait, and yet, yet... yet..." She looked at him now that she stood close to the door as she had stopped. She felt her lower lip tremble and her eyes look up at him, she did not want to cry now but the tears rolled over her cheeks anyway. She had to go, she needed time to think, this was ridiculous. They... They should break up. For real. She had said it four months ago to him, to break up because he deserved a woman that wanted a kid with him and he told her it was okay to wait. And look at them now. "I did not want it yet. You knew that, you said you did not speak a word about it to me and yet." The word yet seemed to be stuck on her lip, sealing every other word after that because she did not want to say it, it made it real, it made her feel like she was about to vomit. "Yet you knew I forgot. You used that against me." She held up her bag in front between them and looked away, "Please don't." She turned around and opened the door to head to the stairs and down to the foyer. She wished that she was faster but her pregnancy was really in her way. For crying out loud, why was she pregnant? Well he knew! With her free hand, now that she lowered the bag again, she tried to brush away the tears but new ones kept showing up anyway. He lied to her? When did he do that? But then she spoke. She didnt want ut yet, he knew and he didnt speak a word about it. He knew she forgot it and he used it against her. She of course didnt allow the hug, she was mad.
G spoke
"Excuse you, but last I checked, you were the one who dragged me off my work station to have some office sex. If I had it my way, I'd create a baby in the comfort of our home on our bed. Not a dusty table. And of course I wouldnt remind you. You know me by now. And you knew the risks and yet you ignored it. Because you thought with your cooch instead of your brain. You cant blame me for your mistakes!" G said, mildly annoyed by her behaviour. He didnt lie or manipulate anything. He knew she didnt want the baby, but when it happened, he gave her an out. Give it to him, so he can raise it. She wouldnt be a mother, and they were free to date and whatever. Then there was adoption. She wouldnt be a mother and they'd date and be together. Anything but killing it. So why was HE the villain here?? "Seriously Hana. It's not a biggy. It's just a... happy little accident. This will be done in no time and you can be free. You dont even need to raise the boy. I'll make sure you never see him. Like Goliath. He'll be out of your hair and we can be together like nothing happened" G said, hoping to salvage this situation. This doesnt have to escalate any further |

Hanako hurried down the stairs as fast as her legs could carry her and her bag, tearing almost the muscles in her right arm, that's how it felt. But it made nothing, it compared nothing, nothing to what she felt raging in her chest. Her heart trying to put every piece back together. Forget it. Shut up, don't tell me, tell me that's not true. Deny it, don't say it's true. Shut up. She wasn't sure if the shut up was for her own thoughts or for him speaking. She stopped midway through the stairs and looked up. "Really?" She said, tearing up again, "Because you have an excuse it's my mistake only? You knew, you knew everything, why could you not be patient? Why did you not trust me? Because you are the almighty one isn't it? Everything should be exactly how you want it." She shook her head and turned away again, lifting up the bag and finally putting her feet on the ground of the foyer, not looking back. Not when he called it a happy little accident. She had thought that, yesterday, not knowing how quickly that was possible, she had been careful enough before, just not at that moment, she had been so frustrated and offended and wanted all of him, also the uniform did not help, now it seemed to put her off. All words made her nauseous and upset. She held her hand on the doorknob. "I thought you knew me, I thought I knew you but apparently I did not. Stop protecting me from you! It's our child and you will not take him away from me, did you forget that I was the one that was happy yesterday, trying to make you see that a baby boy was okay, don't think for a second that I will take my hands of something you might hate. She jerked open the door and tried to get to the taxi, the man was leaning against the door with a lazy expression, he must have seen G run in, he must have connected the dots as he opened the trunk for her bag, she would reach it soon enough. "You knew the risks! You know what I wanted." he said, tearing up but also frustrated "I told you that men are trash. You shouldnt have....." he doesnt even know what to say. "All I wanted was a family"
It was his fear that pushed him towards that drastic measure. He was afraid she would never want a child. He just wanted his flesh and blood to love him. But since his parents hated him, he decided to make his own. Its just he never expected that to be so damn hard. Why? Why didnt anyone want that? He thought girls were the cheesy ones who wanted to settle down. So far no one wanted that! Why did this happen? Did he really not trust Hana? But she seemed so fine with it before.
Her words hurt them, because they were partially true
"Please Hana, dont go. I'll do anything, just please dont leave. I'll- I'll get rid of the baby so it can be just you and me. Please. Dont go" he soon devolved into crying and begging.
He didnt know what to do and he didnt know how to stop her. He fucked up, literally. But all he wanted was a family. And not a made up one that he keeps stitching together. He wanted to be with someone he loved, he wanted to be loved. Why didnt no one want that?

She shut up and looked away, yes they spoke about men being trash, she had not agreed, she had considered, she had asked, she had hoped. It was all in vain, it did not matter anymore. Look at her now, betrayed and pregnant, perfect combination. "And all I wanted was for you to wait." She gave the bag to the cab driver and turned around to look at him. Was that just so hard, she had not considered to be a mom but she knew that after panicking and him talking to her so sweet and caring during new year's eve that she cared and that she wanted him to have his family, with her but he... he.. She stepped towards the door of the cab, two steps backward and looked up at him, his crying beautiful face that she loved so dearly but she was so conflicted. "I can't stay." She shook her head and she wanted to run back in his arms but her head screamed and screamed at her, it wouldn't be surprising if in a minute she would have a massive headache. "I need to think about this, I don't know." She could not think straight if he was here, if he would kiss her now, she would let it go but it would gnaw on her and she would not be able to work it out forgive her. "I don't want to get rid of the baby but I wanted you to trust me, if you can't do that, how can I trust you, G?" No Gil, just G, she should keep her distance. The cab driver opened the door for her and she turned around, no goodbye, no bye, nothing, she did not know what else to do and stepped in and waited for the cabbie to get back in his seat and drive away, he simply drove without her giving an address before she finally gave a name to the hotel that crossed her mind. This was a sinking ship. If this was a ship, it'd be calling itself the Titanic. She was hurt, hurt far more then what he expected. He didnt know she would be this hurt. He thought they would be together and love the child. But this. This is the worst case scenario. She was leaving him and walking out on him and he was powerless
"And all I wanted was for you to wait." But he waited, he waited until he could wait no more "I've waited for years. I couldnt.. I was tired... I thought you wouldnt" he said, defeated. He looked at her and she turned around to look at him. Why did it have to be like this. Why wasnt he allowed to have his family. Was he cursed? His flesh and blood always hating him and never getting someone that loved him? She said how she cant stay and that she needs to think about this. She doesnt know. Does that mean that there is hope. At least she doesnt wanna get rid of the baby. He did desperately reach out for her. To at least touch her and the baby one last time. But to no avail, she left and drove away. Now it was just him and him alone as he stood there at the entrance, the open those, just frozen at paralyzed what just happened |
