Split from calvary bishie battle (Jace and Kirk)

Things were actually going surprisingly well! After the slight debacle with that sticky black stuff and Kirks tennis ball, things got significantly better when he actually jumped off Kirk and stuck to the dinosaur person. At first when the girl riding atop started yelling about breaking the rules, for just a split second Jaces eyes rised in shock as he simply cling to the T-rex, he hadn't actually thought of that...Was he breaking the rules right now?! But the announcement came, saying that he was fine, and his face relaxed as he continued, he didn't have the luxury expressing his relief normally given he was pretty busy at the moment, but he did still show it in his own way by sticking his tongue out at the girl. It was a surprisingly and uncheracteristically bold and teasing move for the normally timid boy, but his impulsiveness had soothed his nerves and given him a sense of bravado, or at least enough determination to focus on what he was doing and not panic while doing it. Kirks cheers of encouragement didn't hurt either. And it seemed in their game of chicken, this allowed him to win as as soon as he went to ignite her tar, the girl instead of trying to fight, fleed. And this gave him an opening, and with a reach and a grab, he'd done it. He took her scarf.

Unfortunately Rexy once again showed a surprising amount of nimbleness, managing to move his arm out of his reach just as he tried to snag it, but while unfortunate, Jace knew better than to overstay his welcome and leaped towards Kirk screaming out to him. And Kirk responded with a yell that was even louder than his had been as he ran full speed towards him, which actually filled him with some ease. He didnt know why, but the beefcake boys enthusiasm kept rubbing off on him, helping him get excited or just letting him believe in the boy. Though out of everything he'd been expecting, being caught like a falling bridesmaid hadn't quite been it. His eyes would widen in surprise as he fell into Kirks arms back first, legs and back supported as he looked at Kirk now blushing with his fire and fur gone, leaving him looking like just a regular boy who just happened to have cat ears and a tail. He had not been prepared for being in this situation, and it was causing his blush to get even darker. Thankfully, Kirk helped break the mood, unfortunately Jace didn't take it the way Kirk had probably meant it. W-What?! You thought I was a loser?! Jaces face was a mix of hurt and shock as the whine left his lips, while he had senses Kirk had his doubts he hadn't realized he'd actually been thought negatively of!

Thankfully Jace wouldn't get further upset as his tantrum would be interrupted by a roar, and the T-Rex they were facing suddenly growing in size. Not many things could distract Jace when he was upset, but that would definitely be one of them, and he just stared into shock until Kirk told him to get into the pouch. Y-Yeah... He dutifully obeyed as he was helped in, his previous upsetness now forgotten, or at least put aside, even tying the stolen scarf around Kirks neck as he trusted it more to the boy than himself. Jace hoped Kirk had a plan, and he pulled his racquet Jace was filled with hope. Until he yelled to book it and ran. Once again Jace found himself being ragdolled in a pouch with no seat belts, except this time they were being chased by a T-Rex. He looked back and immediately regretted it, seeing the thing starting to catch up.Jace so far was not a fan of this plan and he was reminded of a really, really old movie about wild dinosaurs, though he didn't remember if the people being chased had been caught or not. He really hoped that for his and Kirks sake they hadnt been. Faster, faster, must go faster! Then Kirk stopped, and for a moment so did Jaces heart. THIS ISN'T-Wait what? Jaces panicked outburst was replaced with pure confusion when Kirk squatted down, until he finally realized what was about to happen. They were gonna try and dodge it. At first Jace was uneasy, but as the T-Rex came closer Jace felt another hint of impulsiveness as he saw what might be an opportunity. And like before if he hesitated he'd probably lose his chance, and so like before he didn't hesitate.

Reaching in Kirks pouch for one of his many tennis balls, he grabbed it while trying to not be obvious about it, and Kirk would feel some heat as his hand caught aflame as did the ball still in the pouch. He actuallyfelt pretty guilty about destroying one of his balls, but he'd be ok with it if it worked! Hopefully...So right as Kirk was about to jump, he tossed the thing at the tar girl, before swiping at rexys leg in a followup with his claws as Kirk tried to dive past him. And the entire time he swiped at rexys legs he kept his eyes on the flag he'd missed previously, and if he had even a slight chance, he went for it to grab it one more time!

-Jace didn't consider he might have broken rules and is nervous, but relaxed when he's told its ok and sticks tongue out at girl
-Jace is high on determination! He's not even feeling nervous right now!
-It worked!!
-Jace is seriously surprised at how agile this T-Rex is.
-Jace feels confident in Kirks abilities to catch him, and feels strangely at ease with his cheers and bravado
-Jace is a waifu now
-Blushes as he's carried bridal style, but then gets very upset and starts whining when Kirk reveals he had no faith in him.
-Rexys transformation kinda makes Jace forget to be upset
-Wraps their new scarf around Kirks neck as he hopes he has a great plan
-He does not...
-If you weren't expecting at least one Jurassic spark reference than shame on you
-Jace gets that impulsive itch again as Kirk prepares to dive
-Stealthily lights a tennis ball on fire inside Kirks pouch, then chucks it at Tar girl before they dive
-Then claws at rexys leg as they dive by, keeping an eye out for an opportunity to snatch his flag, and goes for it if he can

...Kirks face immediatedly twisted in awkwardness as he realized what he had said to the boy. He had pretty much just admitted, that he thought he was a wuss at first! "Well uh...! I mean you do not uh...! You're uh!?" He was having a real hard time admitting it too. But luckily the actual danger in the situation soon slapped them both out of it with a roar, and they were soon in the actual action again! The sort of action that once again had his little package deal... Kirk would have propably shaken his head to think up a bit more respectable way to refer to him if he had time... shouting awkwardly in surprise! However, he was seemingly doing something, as Kirk could feel heat coming from behind him. Either that or the giant dinosaur had learned to breathe fire, and that would have been even more horrifying! "IT'S A VALID TACTIC TO GET FROM BASE TO BASE!" He shouted behind him, before sliding away...

Only to feel his pouch become significantly lighter...  and after blocking, the sight was a bit confusing. "Huh?" And soon enough, a giant shadow went over him, as Lucas slammed his tail upon him successfully... However, aside from couple of scrapes from the extra contact with the ground and the big ol' bruise on the pouch, Kirk was surprisingly mostly fine! With his pouch still puffed up to carry Jace around, his pouch was pretty much like a turtle shell on his back! However, his racket, recently splattered with tar, was now stuck to the ground. As soon as the tail lifted back up, Kirk was pretty much up as well, letting go of the racket, and finally realized Jace had been captured, with the girl on the back of dinosaur shouting orders for him to leave all the bandannas on him to them so he could get his friend back.

...Man, Kirk had not expected to be extorted in this competition. But on the other hand, they had a good point! If they dropped him, they would lose so many points... However, the dinosaur seemingly hadn't noticed him yet... And to his knowledge they still had one of their bands atleast, with his own... And if his maths were right! (which they rarely were) If they would make the dino fall over, they would get a ton of points WITH the bandannas! So, the conclusion in his thoughts were simple...

"Okay... Sounds good... I am coming to the front..." He mumbled, lifting up his baseball bat, and ran towards the dinosaurs giant leg, as he swung it towards his knee like an ax towards a giant tree at full strength, with a war cry of his own accompanying it! "AFTER WE ARE EVEN!" Extortion was distinctly not heroic in his head, whatever the reason! It was always done by the big villain of a tv-show! However, hitting a guy with a baseball bat to the knee wasn't exactly a nice thing to do either! So, now they were even. The expectation from Kirk was that the guy would fall over, and roar in pain as he had done for the whole thing! ...kind of like him actually... This would release his, friend, which he could easily grab from the air like before, as he took off running forward and opening his pouch wide and arms wide open, so he could grab Jace from the air, or from the falling dinosaurs hands, before he would hit the ground, and of course, it was time for yet another get away!

However, it was up to him whether or not they actually got one of the bands back.

Summary:
- Kirks slide is successful... in getting HIM out of the danger.
- Is slammed into the ground, with the pouch protecting him for the most part! 
- Goopy racket now stuck to the ground. 
- gets extorted... 
- ...and after a quick thinking session smacks Lucas' leg with a baseball bat.
- proceeds to prepare to catch Jace, who he presumes will fall from lucas' mouth or from his arms. 
- glorious getaway!

"Good that's pretty heroic of you-" was all that could escape escape Melissa's lips before suddenly Kirk was charging full speed towards Lucas's leg as Kirk raised the baseball bat to swing at the boy's weakness, his legs. Lucas was too large and couldn't react in time to him coming, he tried to get away but kirk was too fast. The baseball bat hit both legs with a loud CLUNK sound, Lucas let out a loud roar and began to tumble backwards. Melissa clung on for dear life as her life boat began to sink, Lucas did not let go of Jace though as he fell onto the concrete, rocks flew up as Lucas's weight and strength broke the concrete floor causing a big shake to shake up the arena. "GROOOWWWRARRRR" he said as he hit the floor, letting out one final screech before going silent.

Before Lucas fell though, Lucas raised up Jace a bit to try and prevent the poor cat thing from getting completely crushed but seeing as how he was about to be knocked out there was not much he could do. Melissa managed to survive the fall barely as she was able to roll onto the side that Lucas didn't fall on. She turned and looked at Kirk with the biggest what the hell face she could make, that did not go according to plan. "Whats wrong with you?!" she said looking to Lucas and Jace  "Are you both ok?!" she asked worried. "You!" she said looking to kirk "YOU MORON!" she said pushing through the pain shooting through her arms aiming both hands to Kirk. "You risked your partner's safety for a win!" she said as she took the hypocritical stance, she was the reason he was in danger in the first place. "You could have just given us the bandanna!" she said as she began to throw a hissy fit that her plan didn't work.

Lucas was out could and his grip on Jace loosened up enough that Jace could now escape. Melissa fired from both arms and crossed her arm, this was her secret move she was waiting to use. A large torrent of Tar was fired at the boy , looking somewhat like a wave of oil coming straight for him. " Road wave!" she said allowed She wanted to knock him down and try to make up the difference in their points, she was beginning to panic. After the move was fired she grabbed both her arms and let out a small but muffled scream. That fiery pain in her veins cranked up to a 10, she barely had any fight left in her and with Lucas out cold she had no idea what to do.

Jace had been expecting to be dropped, at least when he saw Kirk going in for the charge. What he had not been expecting had been for Lucas to keep hold of him and not let go as Kirk smashed his legs. Jaces eyes raised as suddenly, instead of falling safely into Kirks arms, he was falling alongside a giant T-Rex, or more specifically UNDER a giant T-Rex! But instead of being smooshed, he found himself being lifted up as they fell, the T-Rex boy actually trying to make sure he didn't get hurt. And it worked, as while Jace was still pretty beaten from the sudden crash landing he was also still moving as Rexy smashed into the ground, giving a mighty roar as the concrete broke from his body. Jace was very, very happy he had not been not under that. Y-You saved me! Unfortunately, Jace was talking to himself at that point as rexy was completely out of commission by this point. And the girl was not happy about it, Jace looking up from his now unconcious savoir towards her, no longer trapped and held hostage since the hostage taker was unconcious squirming out of his grasp and crawling on top of him across from her on the other side of the giant dinosaur. Y-Yeah, mostly, thanks... He answered her question of his well being, taking it at surprising face value, though she seemed more interested at screaming at Kirk at this point.

Jace felt slightly conflicted now, he was pretty sure she had been worried about him and while he himself hadn't forseen all this happening just from Kirk charging, she did at least seem to have a point in how that that plan had been willing to risk him for a win. Though, he himself had told Kirk not to trade the bandana, and really if he hadn't jumped in the first place no one would be in this mess. Unfortunately, almost being crushed had overwhelmed the boy with so many feelings, he really wasn't sure just how to feel at the moment, and so he stood there panting from tiredness and still being on edge. At least, he was that way until Kirk took a direct hit from the tar girl, who screamed out in pain as Kirk was sent flying to him. Everyone was at their limit in one way or another, he realized. And as Kirk got up, his entire back and pouch completely covered in that sticky, oily stuff, simply telling him that he'd make everything up to him, he simply looked at the boy in shock, before his feelings heavily landed on feeling guilty over everything. And it showed, looking like he might start to cry. But as Kirk encouraged them to win, Jace simply sniffled and rubbed his nose before nodding. Y-Yeah. Then he'd look sadly at Rexys bandana. I'm sorry... He then took it from the unconcious dinosaur, hopping onto Kirks back.

But the way he hopped on wasn't a normal way, instead only his feet touching the sticky substance, everything else coiled up like he's ready to pounce, even his arms were gripping the front of Kirks shirt, where there wasn't any tar. It would seem as if he didn't like the idea of being sticky, and he even began to lick his arms, grooming himself much like a cat, before licking his palms and rubbing his legs. Though this was actually due to the fact his skin had been tingling ever since his transformation had ended, the flames he made not actually hurting him as it burnt down to his skin, but instead creating a more tickling sensation. And this meant his skin would still be too hot to reignite if he transformed again. But really, it was sort of a moot point, as Jace wasn't really planning on transforming. If they ran away, the girl would almost certainly attack them again, which Kirk himself proceeded to acknowledge by pointing out her attacks would only make him stick to him more. But she'd also hurt herself more, and while Kirk might find the idea of attacking her right now cruel, the idea of her hurting herself more and screaming from pain as she did so was what Jace found worse. Yeah... He agreed with him at first about the idea of sticking further. It was a good idea, one they could probably win with, unless she had any more big moves, which honestly Jace was pretty sure she couldn't even pull off anymore. But he'd watch look behind and watch her, waiting to see if shed make a move before sighing and wrapping Lucas' headband around Kirks neck as well. ....Sorry...senpai...but I dont want her to scream in pain more... And before Kirk could get too far away from Lucas, and if Melissa tried lining up her shot waiting before she could fire, he'd unslip his heels from his shoes much like she did, and jump off quite literally jumping out of his shoes back towards rexy and the tar girl, once again taking an impulsive leap.

Jace would try to land back unto Lucas, and like before reverted to running on all fours in his agile manner, though this time more sore and tired after all that's transpired. Still, he tried leaping around as he approached and closed in on the girl, and if he managed to get to her he'd tackle her to the ground, holding her arms at her side so she couldn't keep shooting tar at him. And if it all worked he'd just sit over her, panting heavily as he stared downwards at her face to face.

-Jace was not expecting to almost end up under a T-Rex
-Rexy saves him! Though Jace didn't have the gentlest of landings he's ok! Mostly.
-Tries thanking rexy but he's unconcious now...
-Tells Melissa he actually is ok when she asks as he squirms out of rexys grasp and crawls on top of him
-Isn't sure whether to be upset, guilty, or sad and its kinda overwhelming. You feel a lot of emotions when a T-Rex almost lands on top of you.
-Decides on guilty when Kirk tells him he'll make it up for him after getting hit by tar girls ultimate attack and tears up. Also doesn't like tar girl screaming in pain, especially since she'd been worried about him
-Sniffles a bit in front of Kirk, but nods when told that they're gonna win, and guiltily takes rexys bandana and hops on Kirk.
-He actually coils up on his back, only letting his feet touch the tar while everything else is curled up above it in an almost pouncing like position.
-Starts licking himself to cool his skin down after having ignited himself......
-Realizes they'll probably win if they run like Kirk suggests, but tar girl will hurt herself trying to stop them. Doesn't like that.
-Decides to stop her, apologizing to Kirk as he does what tar girl did and slips his heels out of his shoes before leaping off of Kirks back back into Lucas
-Goes on all fours as he tries to be agile and hard to hit by tar, though he's still sore from the crash landing and kinda tired
-If he gets close tackles her to ground, holding her arms away from him so she can't hit him. If all this works he just sorta stays above her, staring at her face as he pants
