As he explained, it seems Nimue thought he told her to jog. He shook his head to correct her "No no no. I used jogging as a metaphor on how one keeps up their quirk active. Jogging was a metaphor for Quirk. The jist was, you have to work out. If you wanna keep your Quirk more active for a longer period of time, you must work that body! Preferably in a gym. If you want we can do it sometime together. I mostly use tutoring as an excuse to work out myself. Because to be honest, Im lazy with that. Half of my working out is just catching crooks" G explained to her
When he asked about her Quirk, he learned she was a transformation Quirker. He didnt understand her Quirk at first, but he did get a pretty good picture of it when she fully elaborated. Once he understood it, he clapped his hand and spoke "Ok. I get the problem. First of, you dont say 'so-called spirits', you call them just 'spirits'. Because if they're sentient they wont like that and wont cooperate with you. So, you got 3 Spirits. Which one do you want to work on first?" he asked
G got his Quirk, his Spirit Animal tamed in a pretty... violent way. Beating it into submission and showing it that he is the one and only master. Because his Spirit Animal, Goliath needed to respect him. G was the pack leader, the alpha and the omega. Thats how G gained control of Goliath. And how he maintained the Spirit Animal? Push ups, sit ups and plenty of juice

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Oh, she took the information wrong, but he did say she should jog right? Oh... a metaphor. Going to the gym? Ag she had no time for all this but it would be a pretty good benefit if she would be able to use any of the spirits better. She nodded, catching crooks. "Yes, I also don't go out that often to do that. Most of my work is in the infirmary or teaching biology." Maybe some of the other teachers would want to work out with her, but than again if she had to be here every day to train, that would make sense, she could start with that and maybe try things in the morning, going early to Yuuei to fix things. She felt the dread of the problem that Oz would not agree with it. That would be a bad situation, would he really worry if she went out earlier... ah but going here every day might be making it worse at this time? He might think she was doing things, that made him jealous and if he was drunk again. But she would be here! She had a quirk to work on and a responsibilty as the school nurse as well as being a pro-hero.
She had no idea she said so-called, she never did that. She considered them all beings that have their own opinion, her eyes turned a bit bigger, what did she all say if she did not pay attention. "I didn't mean that." She sounded a bit panicky, she remembered who said: so-called. Oz. She felt dread in her whole body and apologized for the beings in her head. She looked at the ground, three spirits, who to work with. Nkosi and Nimue were quite the buddies so she did not have to work very hard on that, "I-I think Uphondu, we don't work together well at all and I would really want that, especially if the situation is so dire that I would have to... to try and fight?" It wasn't her intention to end the sentence more as a question but it was the problem anyway, so Iwayo was doing okay, they did not agree on everything but they could work together, "He finds me weak." It was out before she knew it, but it was the truth anyway. Maybe she was as she did not dare to envoke the spirit any time and they were at least four years together now.

He figured she'd mostly stay indoors or away from the danger since she is the nurse. A healer, a non combat hero. That cut on her cheek still disturbed him though.
Asking what Spirit would she like to work on first, she said the one that cooperates with her the least, Uphondu.
"Hmm, I think since that's a more combat oriented spirit. That he does see you as weak. But that is just the spirits way of caring for you. Its giving you some tough love, but wants you to be strong. The Spirit wants you to be more confident in yourself, so you dont have to ask all the time if you're wasting someones time. You gotta be assertive. And, you gotta" pokes her arm "Work out"
He then made her an offer
"Why dont we work out at a gym together? Get you to have a better physical condition. It'll allow you to summon your Spirit longer and your spirit might respect you if he saw you more... erm...well not buff, but whats that word" he said as he tried to remember a japanese word "string? No... strong? More physically fit?.. erm.. something along those lines. Heh, sorry, my mind had a blackout moment there" G said

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse The complexity that was Nimue was a lass with four different souls, her own, Uphondu, Iwayo and Nkosi. The latter one basically being her best friend and the first being her dire enemy. They could only work together if Uphondu saw the necessary means to that, which was not how she wanted to be. Back in South-Africa her training had been harsh and difficult. But it had focused on the training to shamanism. Her mother drilling the knows of herbs and the like in her head and she knew that it was important but as a teen, she had not liked it. Seeing how Cal got the easy way out and did not have to study, got all the attention of her mother as a loving one. He had no pressure on the heritage line of becoming a shaman. Why did she had Nkosi first, how different would her world be and her persona if Uphondu was first. Iwayo after all, the defence form, fitted perfectly with her duty of protection and healing. She loved healing, she loved the idea of what she was able to do.
This meant only that she would have to do it more, she tried to go to Cape Town to apply for a school but her mother did not let her. Till the point that she ran away and went to do a medical education in Japan. Pushing and pulling to learn the language, to learn the meanings of Medical school and after six years she was done. No special higher education or experimenting thing, she just wanted to start. She had so much to do instead she felt like she was a liability. Not able to save those instantly, not being told about issues that she might be able to fix, what was she doing anyway?
That was Uphondu's way of caring for her? What? She looked at where G touched her arm, work out? Yes, well, yes she could get into that mindset. She could not help but chuckle when he tried to find the word but did not seem to be able to. "So my training here will be another training and you want to go to the gym? Effective way of teaching mister." She tried to be more casual, but she wasn't sure if she came off that way, what changed between South Africa and coming here was something that she did not understand, maybe not feeling at home had had a huge effect on her. Maybe she was simply homesick. |

"Well yeah. I mean Im just a guy, I dont have a special facility like UA to teach you and do stuff. I have what life gives me. So how about it?? We do this together! Hell, you can summon Uphondu now, so we can see what happens before and after you mastered all the training and lessons I give you." he nods to himself "Ok, first order summon Uphondu and try to communicate with him. We have to see if we can find a reason why Uphondu cant stand you. Otherwise we're left to speculation. Which I would assume is your lack of strength" G said
He gave Nimue space and crossed his arms, he watched to see if she would summon her spirit. And if so, he wanted to see how big it was, what it looked like, how it behaved, could it talk. He knew Kasey's Setsuna could talk, but his Goliath couldnt. G was always eager to see similar people with similar quirks. It did make him chuckle when people thought he was the spirit expert because of the quirk. He doubted he was, since his solution was to beat his spirit to subission. And he doubted Nimue would go about it that way

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She shook her head but did smile again, "The infirmary is run over anyway." Her class was doing a lot better in that case but she understood what he meant, she looked around the facility where they were now. "You have a nice spot here but I get what you mean." It might motivate her more to go to the gym anyway and the best part might be, she barely wanted to think it, was that she would be away from Oz for a couple more hours. She would specifically say it would be for quirk training and not tell him that she was training with someone. She did not want him to hurt her and cry about it again. She was not sure how much her own heart could take when it came to that. "I like the idea, thank you very much." Yes, she would. But she froze and stared at him with big eyes, shaking a little, "You mean, now-now?" She did not stutter it was to confirm that it was here and now. She simply took a breath, swallowed and another deep breath and watched how G took a step away from her.
She closed her eyes and felt the power swirl around and inside her, but nothing much changed, there was no external body, there was just Nimue, the skull appearing on her head, showing the heritage of South Africa, it was practically always there but just in spirit form, you could walk through, brush through when it came to her hair but it was there. Her eyes were bright red and the shy and timid look on her face turned into a scowl when Uphondu took the body in his own hands. "So you wanted to speak to me, you want to know why? I have a lot to say about why, first of all, she doesn't listen to our advice, we have been with her for so long, Nkosi since she was seven, Iwayo since she was sixteen and me since she was twenty. But no, everything that doesn't concern her need of spirits is ignored when we give advice when it comes to Oz--" But her hand slammed, quite harsh against her lips, she had taken that back, showing one red eye and one amber coloured. No. No, she would not bring Oz into danger. |

"You mean, now-now?"
"Yes, I mean now now.... Now" G said as he mimicked Nimue. Although he did say it in a joke-ish tone. To make the situation lighthearted as to not scare and worry the timid teacher.
And then, Nimue closed her eyes. Something happened, but at the same time, nothing really change. There was no being beside her or getting out of her. Just Nimue and her cool skull. G then noticed her eyes were red and she wasnt a shy cutie no more. There was a scowl, which he approved of. G understood, her spirits possess her. Thats a unique quirk. He then listened to Uphondu. So Nimie ignores advice the spirits give her. And then something about Oz... some person, Nimue covered her mouth with her hands. G raised an eyebrow
"So there is a secret. I wonder" he thought to himself
"Nimue, considering you interrupted Uphondu, it means you dont want him to tell me something. If you dont mind, I'll instead let our Spirits chat. I'll summon my own Spirit and move farther away so I cant hear them talk. I'll let Goliath dal with this... whatever this is" G said and then used his Quirk to summon Goliath. G then walked away
Goliath meanwhile looked around confused, G would hear nothing but isopod noises, but Uphondu would understand the Spirit Animal "Huh? What? Where am I now?"

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse They could not speak about Oz. Oz did things wrong, yes, but he had an excuse and a pretty solid one and he was afraid and she would help him. They did not need to spill that secret, Oz will be fine, it would just take a lot of patience and time. Oz loved her, Oz was fine. She felt shaky but Uphondu still having the most power over her body did not speak anymore or change, he lowered her hand and let it go. She had nothing to say. She did look at G but the problem he would not be able to see her. The spirits, only being spirits, only visible if you could read auras in the way that the tribe was taught. It was tiring, it was upsetting but Uphondu nodded, "She agrees with that. She believes she can fix this problem herself." He simply eyed the man with the red eyes, Uphondu, speaking in his mind to Iwayo and Nkosi shut out Nimue, she could only watch, only listen to G and not say a thing. She wasn't sure what to do but the spirits agreed, they would tell Goliath, even if the Isopod would not be able to tell his master, they might get something out of it. They might understand how he worked and how they could step in, how they could protect Nimue from getting hurt.
She had to stop, she had to stop getting hurt because she believed she could do something about it. It wasn't her fault and she needed to be far away from that man. "You must be G's spirit." Uphondu looked up the isopod, he seemed strong, maybe on an equal footing with the spirit himself if only he was able to show that off. "Goliath, right? I am Uphondu." The spirit spoke with pride but soft enough to not boost or let G hear them. "I wonder, ngumhlobo, how do you protect him? Are you able? We need to become stronger to protect our host, she is weak, she is blind, she needs to know. You see, she cares about others before herself." The spirit lifted up his hand to touch the cheek with the cut, the right eye closing as it hurt. "Her man is making use of that. Stealing money, abusing her and blaming her. Yet she shuts us out."

G left, as he wanted to leave the spirits alone to do their talking. He knew something was up since Nimue silenced her spirit. If his theory is true, then she is mistreated. That cut, its so obvious. And now he had a name... Oz.
He sighed as there was nothing he could do, now it was up to the spirits to settle it. G sat down on the ground and sighed.
Meanwhile, back with Goliath and Uphondu, the two talked. Uphondu knew Goliath which caught the Spirit Animal slightly by surprise. But then remembered that G being number 1 Vigilante would probably make him famous as well. It was something he didnt think about. Goliath nodded when Uphondu said his name. And when the foreign spirit introduced himself, he said "Nice to meet you."
Uphondu spoke and wondered how did Goliath protect G. It was something he never got asked and enever really thought about. Uphondu then spoke of his problems with Nimue. She seemed to resist the help of her spirit(s)
"I see. A stubborn human... Well... in my case. I fight, I try to follow his commands. Sometimes I do my own thing. But he can protect himself mostly. .... Well, except for once when he was a child" he said and then focused on Nimue's cut "Is there a way where you can convince her that she is in the wrong? Maybe she needs to come to that solution on her own. Instead of just being given it" he suggested

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse His eyes going to the man that seemed to want to protect. If only Nimue would see, if only she would allow, if only she would listen and accept. At least there was a change because he was able to talk to the spirit of G and Uphondu could try to figure it out. What they could do, what they could say and ask and prove to Nimue to make the right choice. To make sure that she would be save, using her utmost power, even if that meant that he would have to do something that she disliked but still she would understand. She would be more powerful, she would understand, she would learn. She would understand and forgive them for doing this.
"We see. Your human can protect himself, we are not surprised. We would like him to train her, would like her to know more, understand us more, be able to use our power more." That probably did not work the same as they did share the body and yet they let their hostess rule over them to gain her trust and to use hr body to gain that power but she wanted, no she must, understand.
"We are afraid she would not see that, she always picks other people over her. Someone needs to show her, we decided that would be us. She would not tell him." The red eyes going back to G, "Not because she does not trust him, she is afraid they will hurt that man. She wants to see if she can redeem him, but he is not worthy of her time. We want her out, but she can't see. How will she see without our help?" There were a lot of questions but the spirits believed that they would have to push Nimue in the right direction, but that did not work now, how would she get to the point that she would see for herself.

Goliath listened to the fellow Spirit. Hearing about their human, Nimue. It seemed like she valued others more then herself. And it seemed as if she was stuck in a toxic relationship, blind to its toxicity. There were many things to discuss, but not enough time. "He can protect himself because he had a wake up call. She still didnt have that call. Believes in her man, even if he is bad for her." Goliath said as he thought outloud, he glanced at G when Uphondu did. G was meanwhile just browsing his phone, for all G knew, Goliath just said gurgle click click. Back to the spirits thought. Goliath tapped his head with his hand/claw as he thought, tried to help his fellow spirits in need. He was sure G knew Nimue's situation just by the cut on the cheek. Goliath pondered and thought, until he got a stupid idea
"I know... why dont we make them work together? She doesnt wanna tell him. But if they work together, they can become friends. Friends give eachother advice and help eachother. Surely, if they get closer that she could tell him. He's a guy and he knows guys. She'll listen to that logic, right? So, maybe for now, you convince her to befriend him?" Goliath suggested to Uphondu.
It was strange logic, but maybe just maybe it might work. Nimue wont open up to an authority figure like a sensei, but as a friend... she might.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse A wake-up call, now that was something the spirits had not thought about. How would they get that call into motion though, they almost wondered if they should set up a stage, so she would see for herself that it did not have to be like this. That people did appreciate her and so on, but only time would tell if she would see and understand. What was making Oz so important that she was holding on to him? They did not understand and yet they had been here all the time, Uphondu maybe not from the start of their relation but long enough to give an opinion if he would say so himself, four years out of five, that was okay. He shut her out now, she did not like it, but maybe it would start to trigger her that Oz was doing the same, where was their money, what was he doing and where were those paintings?
"Work together?" The spirit replied not entirely understanding what that would change. She might listen to that logic indeed, maybe more so than listening to spirits without a body apart from hers. "We see him as a good someone, so does Nimue so that works. Ngumhlobo. We see. We understand and we agree. Let them work together, let them train together, let them become friends with time and she would trust his advice and thus leave Oz. We appreciate and we are glad to have a plan." He nodded, his red eyes switching shortly between Goliath and G before going back. "Thank you for talking to us, ngumhlobo. We are glad to have met someone like the two of you." He repeated the word for friend, but by the intonation of his words and what he said before when Goliath mentioned the word friend, it would not be surprising if he got the meaning of the word.
Unexpectedly the spirits were longer holding on to the reign of the body than before, which was a good thing, they would work with that. They would only maybe ruin her stamina right now but it was for a good cause, her safety meant everything to them, she was too kind and that could be a bad thing for some. |

"Work together?" Uphondu asked, but Goliath nodded. The Spirit of Uphondu agreed to it, they saw G as someone good, which was a relief to the Spirit Animal. Uphondu thanked Goliath for his help
"Yes. Perhaps if they work as a hero-sidekick duo, they can become close and be friends who trust one another. Surely that will help her. But actually, I have to thank you. I've never had a chance to have a conversation with someone" Goliath said
G meanwhile was in the distance, tinkering with his phone. He looked up to the spirits and wondered if they were near the end of their little chatter. He saw that Goliath turned around and waved over to him to come over. G put his phone away and walked over to the spirits. He then asked Uphondu "So, did you two have a breakthrough? Any way I can help?"
It was then that G would discover what the spirits planned for him. A Hero and Sidekick duo? He pondered. It was a nice idea, one which he wont admit made him smile a bit. He wanted to be Caitlyns sidekick but nothing came of that. Perhaps he can do that with Nimue. Granted Miku and Haruuhi were against him to become a Hero. Maybe Hana though? He still hadnt learned her vote.
Votes aside, to get the ball rolling G and Nimue had finally begun to train properly together. It was mostly generic training and some very simple beginner moves on self defence, like blocking hits and counterattacking. Albeit G was very gentle when he needed to explain how to block his super 'strong' attack. The two would continue to train like this.
