Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse It was her advice to Miku, but look at her now being here at the advice of Miku. Strange how the world sometimes turned, the same with that she could heal almost everything at this point, especially if you looked at the minor things and yet there was a cut on her cheek and quite some bruises on her body. Thank god her clothing hid that, she did not want to talk to people and explain it because her brain could not make a word about it. She was always the one who saw the sunshine in the rain, the silver lining in the clouds and now suddenly the world only showed it shadows and she did not understand. Nimue checked the address another time as she had to take a bus and walk a bit before she would be able to get here and she looked around. Surely it looked like there was activity here but it felt weird to suddenly walk on the industry terrain at the outskirts of Tokyo. Even if she had lived for quite a while now in this town, she had never been much to this part of the outskirts. She had studied in the town and Oz lived in Musutafu, so that was the part that she got out. This was a completely different world and she had already felt that when she got from Cape Town to Tokyo.
It reminded her of home, in Cape Town, the world looked already different after ten minutes of driving and apparently Tokyo had hidden gems like that too. As she arrived at the right address and the signs pointed there, she looked around a bit ill at ease, again something that did not fit her, surely she was shy but she knew Gabe already and even if it was a little bit, she was rather curious why he was okay about this and if he had considered the job of a pro-hero and if one of the other pro-heroes had come over to him because that surely had held her up thinking at night. Until the moment with Aki and now she had a lot of pain every night, not only physically, that was not even that bad but mentally, her world suddenly felt upside down.
She felt like her paintings, property of someone who did not like her, but that was nonsense, why would they else still be together, she walked to the first door that she saw. Yes, why else would they still be together? "Hello? Anyone here?" She had not seen anyone and she felt like it would be better to talk to someone before the shadows would take over her thoughts. |

G was at the Pink Jackal training area. He was sitting, resting and waiting. Miku told him that whats her face, Nimue, would seek him out to train. She wanted to be HIS student. Nothing felt better then THAT! An actual Pro Hero, seeking his infinite wisdom! He had a shit eating grin hearing that. A Hero seeking a Vigilante
He couldnt resist but do it. As he waited, he rested and yawned. Honestly, he was a bit tired. But soon, he heard someone call out if anyone was there. G then got up and opened the door.
"Welcome m'lady" G said in a smooth voice but as a complete and utter joke. No, he wasnt hitting on Nimue, but he did enjoy parodying a sophisticated UA Teacher. Some person Miku mentioned to G. Irrelevant as G actually couldnt keep up the fancy pants act. He just bursted out laughing and let her in
"Sorry! Sorry! Come in come in!" G said as he moved out of her way to get in the training room. Once she was there, he asked "So.... what exactly brings you here?"
What did a Pro Hero need help with? Please dont tell him its martial arts... or a booty call. She wouldnt be the 1st UA Nurse he got

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse The shadows were like playing a match that Nimue did not want to lose, Oz meant well and while asking out loud if someone was here, she unconsciously moved up her right hand to pat the cut, it was ridiculous to use her own power on it when it was not necessary, but she also felt like that it was too obvious that the nurse had a cut on her cheek. She hoped no student would ask and neither this man. She heard a welcome m'lady, which reminded her of someone but she could not come up with who and she simply followed the voice and noticed the man she had seen a few weeks before. She bowed shortly, "Nice to see you again Hajimari-san." Too many people with the name and the strange use of Japanese that made her feel like an utmost foreigner like always, but she had to do this and try for the sake of the students. She wasn't sure what to say but as he had to laugh she was surprised by him and smiled, oh that was a joke, oooh that was Ningyo-sensei, she had only heard her speak in the hallways and in the channels but not direct face to face. She let out a short giggle now that she understood. She walked into the training room to look around there.
She did hear his question but she did not know how to answer it instantly, she felt so weird to answer this, it was not that he made her feel weird, it was strange to ask a student's father. "I-I heard you trained Miku and I wondered if you could give me some tips. I understand that sounds strange but I am a healer and I can't do anything but healing. I don't even need to do something else but I think, se-self." She could not say the word and pulled on the sleeves of her shirt to make sure you could no see anything, "Self-defense" Finally, it was not that she needed it against Oz, he did not mean any harm. "can be useful." She looked at the floor, she felt as if she was betraying Oz. |

The nurse chick greeted him by the name Hajimari-san. That was so cringe worthy japanese, G couldnt take it
"No need to be formal. Call me G. Also... whats your name again?"
After those corrections and introductions were done, G asked her, what brings her here. To which the nurse lady spoke how she heard from Miku that he can give her some tips. She spoke how she's a healer, but... she needed...help for... self defence?!??!
To which then G actually snapped out of his head and noticed... a cut on her cheek and under her eye. Self defence and then there's a cut. Knowing G and his typical hatred of men, he'd say that someone abused her and thats why she needs help for self defence. But the more rational side says she's a hero dealing with Villains. To believe his bias or not, that is the question
G decided to poke on a bit and get more info
"Right, so self defence. How come you need help with that. Obviously you're a healer. But, I may be jumping the gun and the shark at the same time, but... just.. how come? I assume its not self defence against Villains, a Pro such as yourself can handle that. Is there something more? Did someone hurt you?" he asked as he approached her and gently touched her cheek
"I need to know, so I know how and what to teach you"
Teaching a grown adult woman is different then teaching kids. Having a ... well endowed adult woman requires G to personally spar with her. He may mess up and accidentally touch.... a thing...fruit... melon. He needed to be VERY careful

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Aah had she already made a mistake, she felt already too embarrassed to ask someone's parent to teach her and now she was screwing it up too, maybe Oz was right. "Nimue, sorry, I mean, nice to meet you again." Definitely not good with lasting impressions, was she? She did really repeat herself twice in like five seconds, it was even far from being over with the embarrassment as she hackled on the next question that he asked her and the dark shadows were creeping in on her mind again. Her amber eyes looked at him with a pleading look in her eyes, she did not dare to bother the other pro-hero teachers with it and apart from that she only knew Caitlyn, maybe she should have asked others but she assumed they were busy... Eh, now she realized how much she might have underestimated how busy Hajimari-san must be.
She nodded when he said that she was a healer, h-how come? She might have looked a little scared and surprised without wanting too. She closed her eyes and shook visibly over her whole body when he touched her cheek. Her lower lip trembled, she was making this a bigger deal than it actually was! Or so she told herself, she swallowed and tried to put on a brave face. "I-I cut myself." She felt so bad for lying because he said he needed to know to be able to teach her but she could not betray Oz because G did not even know him and it wasn't fair. "I also am not well in fighting in general, I mostly focus on healing and protection in case necessary. I do have a spirit who is good at fighting but he won't teach me."
Why was she lying, why was she trying to change the subject, was Oz really wrong and did she know, was that why she was protecting him? What would happen if she told G? It would not stop or maybe someone would hurt Oz. She did not want that either. |

There was a certain look in her eyes. Something he couldnt really resist. That look, it was just so.... famliar to him. G felt like Miku at the moment because he felt this urge to just hug her and protect her.... That look in her eyes... it reminded him of himself... when he was a kid.
He snapped out of it when he heard that she cut herself. How? How do you cut yourself on the cheek, under the eye? Obviously not when peeling a potato. And again, he doubted a Pro Hero is shit against fighting Villains. G imagined that she probably is going through the stuff he went through.
He then heard Hana Nimue speak that she is not good at fighting in general, she's a healer. G crossed his arms and got serious
"Ok, I'll teach you. It will be hard because of your elegant physique. But you gotta know, when I start training you, I wanna see you here every day at this time!"
G wanted to check if she was abused. A girl like her probably wont admit the abuse. If she comes here every day, then he gets to see if she really got hurt accidentally or if there is something more sinister going on. If she comes here unscathed and unharmed, it means she is progressing with her martial arts and defending herself. Plus, he'll keep an eye on defence wounds... Then again... she really might have cut herself on the cheek by peeling a potato.........yeah, fuck no.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She did not know how pleading she looked and what he thought and what she was actually doing with herself because she felt unnerved, shaking and absolutely insecure about everything at the moment. She had felt this bad when she returned from her early morning adventure, trying to safe Haruuhi, which had gone relatively okay. She had mentally kicked herself and been angry with herself that she forgot her bag and had to depend on someone's attributes and she had done so much better with Aki, she had been prepared, she had her brain all sorted out with what to do and instruct the children to help her now that they were there anyway, which was bad and good at the same time. But Oz understood the urgency for Hajimari, why did he not understand it with Koyama, why did he hit her, why did he keep pushing her when she asked about the new apartment, what was she doing wrong?
She looked at her feet, not sure what to say, she lied that she cut herself. It was her fault anyway, she should have watched what she was doing and Oz had apologized, heck he had even cried about it, she should not punish him or let him be punished for an accident. She looked up surprised after he said he would teach her, that went well. "I mean if you are busy that's... every day?" Oh did he really had time for her every day, what would she say to Oz, what should she do. But she nodded, every day, that would mean that every day she would get a little bit better with defending herself and supporting those that needed her as a healer. What if there was an accident at the school and she had to be there. She should not think about that right now.
"A-anything I should take with me, can I take notes or is it just practice all the time?" Which she had nothing against, practice made perfect after all, her mind was still considering how she could sneak out all the time without Oz actually noticing or saying something bad about it. |

G didnt like her body language. It screamed fear and insecurity. Not the traits of a hero, but a victim. G watched Nimue as she looked down at her feet. She only lifted her head when he gave her his ultimatum, he will teach her if she comes here every day. She seemed surprised and asked if he's busy
"A true Hero makes time. He's never too busy for someone in need." G said
Nimue then asked if she should take somethin with her or if she should take notes
"If you want the full package lessons then yes, you could bring a notebook. But I doubt you wanna be lectured on what it means to be a Hero. For our lil self defence lessons, bring just comfy clothes. And by bring I mean, come wearing some sporty clothes. If you dont, then I'll have to make you change into some more comfy and more fighty clothes" G said
Though he blushed at the idea of her stripping infront of him just to change into some more fitting clothes. Those are some KILLER curves for a Hero. He then shook his head to clear his dirty mind of dirty thoughts
"HANA IS MY ONE AND ONLY LOVE!!! THIS IS JUST EYE CANDY!!! EYE CANDY!!!!" he mentally yelled at himself

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She felt fidgety, she felt like she was in the way of so many people. She had convinced herself to ask her colleagues and talk more with them but that did not entirely work as she still felt like she was too young to try and to be officially understood, she only got her license because she was a healer and the government understood her usefulness. But they did not know how useless she was in general as a pro-hero. She looked surprised when he said that a true hero would make time, never busy for someone in need. But was she considered someone in need? "Thank you." She dared to say, she was too surprised to consider that other people could think the way she did and that she wasn't the only one, that many more might think that way. She would do everything within her power and capability to help those in need, but she did not consider herself in that category.
She nodded, a notebook, oh that was only to be learning how to be a hero. Which made her frown, she wanted to ask but not be rude. Comfy clothes, that made sense. She did not know that he blushed as she did not look up as she thought about it and only kept nodding, "Sporty clothes, that makes sense. I-" She looked up but only saw him shook his head, missing the whole point, "I only got through the test for the license because they wanted healers. I have not been entirely fair to you when I explained what it takes to be a pro-hero. I don't have my license long, I am a very bad one." She looked away again, she felt that way too. She had not been prepared when it was necessary, she might already have gotten too used on being a nurse at a school where all the supplies were, she had her own, she carried her own with her but not everywhere, which was maybe something she should do. With the other situation being recently and she had been prepared and taken her bag and everything she needed.

G hopes she got the message and that she'll get sporty clothes. Nimue then spoke and apparently she was a new hero or just needed as a healer, not much of a combat hero. And then she looked away.... again. G had had enough of that. He then casually walked over infront of her gaze again, and even got closer to her face
"Ok, I get that. But why are you avoiding to look at me. You're literally gonna talk to the wall if you keep that up. Whats wrong?" he asked
Usually when one avoids someones gaze, its because they're either guilty or scared or hiding something. So which one applied to a Pro Hero like Nimue? Was it fear? He asked her whats wrong, so will she be honest and tell him? Was she afraid of him. G hoped she'd be honest and tell him whats bugging her
"I dont get her. Whats wrong with her? Her attitude seems off. She looks scared of me, I mean I get it as my Heroic shtick is to be scary and villanous to my opposition, but Im not doing that now... unless...IM THAT AWESOME!!" G thought to himself, trying not to smile as he had a fantasy about his awesomeness, he needed to be serious, for Nimue's sake

She had to look up as G got so close to her that there was nowhere else to look, she would not be able to see the floor or her feet but just his shirt and she looked up, he was quite a bit taller than her, must be about twenty centimeters at the very least and she felt quite flustered when he spoke to her. Her eyes shaking a little, not sure where to look but at G, which was kind of confrontational, something she rather avoided. What was wrong was a good question, even for the nurse herself. Since she was a nurse and she applied for a job at Yuuei, she believed that hurting others was wrong. She accepted it because of the teachings is class but that did not mean that she agreed with it. That also meant that she knew she was wrong in defending Oz and telling G that she hurt herself.
But it was also wrong not to defend him, it was not everyone their business what was done in the heat of a fight and he had never done that before. He had also never drunk so much before, so she wasn't sure what to think about the whole situation. "Everything." It was a word that she had not meant to say, it was not something of Gabe's concern! He probably had everything else to worry about and she did not want to worry him about things that would only bother him and eh... She simply hid her lips with her left hand, but they were trembling. "I mean, I feel like I am wasting people their time, so please tell me if I do and I am so sorry for not being able to do more for Haruuhi-chan and and I just feel kind of lost." As if she belonged nowhere, she belonged in the infirmary and she was okay with the children but were they okay with her? Surely she was appreciated by Relena as she said so but was that enough and should she just go home? Be that shaman that her tribe wanted, even if it was not like the age-old way of learning anymore with her quirk. "I am so sorry, I should go, I should not bother you with my personal things, it's not important." Maybe taking a few days off and really trying to find her father, but would Oz let her go?

Only when he got in her face did she tell him something. And.. what was wrong? Everything was!
"Wait... everything?" G asked, slightly surprised and bewildered
She then eventually elaborated and said that she feels like she is wasting everyones time and then she started apologizing
"Hey listen" he said to gain her attention "Dont worry about it. You're not wasting my time. I mean, if you did then you wouldnt be here. So calm down, you're not wasting my time. You're not a burden and you're not bothering me in any way, shape or form. You're a Pro Hero and you need help. Well imma gonna give you that. Is that ok?"
He had to check to see if she was fine with him teaching her. G didnt mind, he would love to school a pro hero. This would inflate his ego and he'll love it. Having a chance to personally groom a hero and influence the hero society first hand. He couldnt help but smile. Though before that, he had to make sure Nimue was on board with him teaching her. Plus since she's a new hero, he had to check does she want the works or just martial arts lessons.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She should not bother people, everything was exaggerating but not having found her way around the school and her fellow pro-heroes, feeling that her license was only giving because they needed a healer or that they pitied her and many other things were piling on the South-African woman. Not even she would be able to avoid the dark shadows looming over her, maybe it was her conversation with Ai that started it, pointing it out to Oz that she had no idea how it all worked and why she got to a meeting over a painting she had not seen in months. She bit her lip softly as she looked up at Gabe when she gave the waterfall of words and tried to repair the damage but before she could go further than just apologizing he said she should listen. Her amber eyes staring at him in surprise. She should definitely not bring her problems to a man she just met or well, met only two times before.
Is that okay?
All she could do was a nod at that moment, of course! If that was not okay, she would never get better and only become more of a burden to people and maybe, slightly, maybe, she should do something about Oz. She did not want to hurt him, mentally or physically but it was not fair that they could have a fight and that he could just take her things, even if they lived together, it were still her paintings, it was maybe better to at least be able to defend herself in case he got drunk again.
She wanted to apologize but that was something she had already done before so it might not be considered a good thing at all. "Thank you." Was the most important message and she could not help but as she thought about it, Oz and his drunk endeavours, she couldn't help but move up her hand again to touch her cheek, it would only work out better if she would be a better pro-hero. "Can I ask, with that evening, in December, you could use your quirk for quite a while, how do you do that?" Because after a few minutes her skin would crack, even Nkosi would become restless as if the spirits all would get evil and decided to take her own body, which was another reason why she did not dare to use Uphondu for too long. |

Nimue then asked G a question. She reminded him of that evenin in december. But it was a Quirk question. How come he can keep it up and manifest it for a long time
"Training. Physical training. Stamina. Endurance. Thats how. Your body has to be ready. Sure, you can use the Quirk... but your body has to be in good shape to keep it up. Take something as banal as jogging. Sure you can jog, but you need leg power to actually keep doing that. Otherwise you'd be outta breath in a few seconds." G explained
The jist was that Nimue needed to stay fit if she wanted to use her own Quirk for a longer period of time. Speaking of which "Whats your Quirk? Are you an emitter or transformation or a secret mutant?" G asked
He didnt know what her Quirk was. Well, since that... evening... he knew it was healing. But how? There are all kinds of healing Quirks. Like healing kiss, healing sweat, healing tears, healing spit. Those were the kind of healing Quirks G saw in his life. He wondered how did Nimue do that.
"I wonder what kind of healing does she have" he thought as he didnt quite see what she did before

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse That made sense, having her physical training to be better and longer holding on to what she had to do. Maybe Uphondu would listen to her more often too, that would be better. She did not want to be afraid of her own quirk, let's be fair. "I should really work on that." She said with a sigh because she was really working on too many things, she should squeeze in something more, apart from just her daily research, her work for the students and trying to even do something for her own good. She touched her hurt cheek again, maybe that's why Oz was so angry. That she gave him no attention lately. She could find something in understanding that but she was so close and so busy with a lot of things. Jogging, oh god, she should just get up earlier in the morning and work on that, jogging, she could do that. She nodded, jogging. It kept being in her mind. "But where to start? I mean I can't just go out for a run. I would need to find a schedule." She would have a lot to do and pondered while remaining standing in the middle of the room. She should write things down, that might be smart.
"Ag, I am a transformation quirker." She said, afraid she should have explained it a little bit more, "I have the power to evoke so-called spirits. They have the three functions, I mostly use the healing power of Nkosi to well heal people, as I did with you." Using G as an example was probably the best she could do instead of mentioning Haruuhi, which was a worse example and she still regretted how she took care of that. The other two are Iwayo, who helps me be a sort of shield, made of like iron I would say as well as Uphondo, trying to teach me fighting but it did not work well yet." She wasn't sure how much detail G wanted to know. She wanted to change so many things but she did not know how and that's maybe only for the best that she came here. |
