Jace watched the boy in front of him get a look of deep thought, looking exhausted trying to come up with dome sort of plan. And Jace mostly stood there, sideglancing him while staring at the ground due to a mix of curiousity and guilt, but still not offering anything. He was better at thinking on his feet than trying to preplan things like this, and honestly didn't have much of a strategy beyond "Wait and see", but still felt bad about not being able to help his partner out. But it seemed his partner was coming to the same regards, suggesting they improvise along the way. Y-Yeah...Ok. Jace nodded to the suggestion, nervously agreeing to the plan, or lack of one as it were. And he looked around at the competition, whom almost certainly were coming up with actual, concrete plans. Would theirs be enough?
And as Jace nervously thought to himself, Kirk let out a yell, and as the boy jumped and let out a yell of his own, he turned to a confused looking Kirk again, saying something about putting stuff in stuff. Did he want him to put something in his pouch? Jace stared at the boy, head tilted in confusion hoping for clarification, but not getting anything. He hoped he didn't mean hiding his scarf thingie in there without tying it somewhere visible, that'd be against the rules! But instead, the conversation moved on, to the scarf and clothing in fact. Jaces face lit up at the suggestion of such durable clothing, and let out another coo as he pulled on his uniform as if looking at if would change anything about it. He was smiling as well, he'd been really a OK tried that he'd burn his clothes if he wasn't careful. Now all he had to worry about was not burning the guy he was gonna be riding on.
Speaking of which, it was time. And Jace climbed into the pouch with the help of Kirk. It was...surreal. And roomy. And actually did feel strangely strong, as if holding him wasn't too hard for the literal bag of skin. Bag of skin, it was something that kept crawling back into his mind as he stood in here. It was kinda creepy when he thought about it, and couldn't hide his blush. But when Kirk started his chant, Jace could feel his excitement in the air and himself as his chest tightened, and when he let out the yell Jace couldn't quite hold it back either. Y-Yeah!!
And then the match begun, and Jace did about the only thing he could, and his ears would become pointed and larger, much like a cats person's ears from fantasy genres, and his hands would gain long claws as well. Somethings that only Kirk would be that his body was slightly hotter from his body temp rising up, though not to an uncomfortable degree. He'd also feel something swishing around the pouch, rubbing against the inner pouch walls, as Jace had also grown a tail. And unfortunately for Jace, he transformed right when the other team made a giant boom! AAAH! For most it'd be a surprising noise, for Jace it had become a rather painful one as his senses were now heightened to a very high degree. He let out a loud yelp of pain, gripping Kirks shoulder with his left hand tighter than either of them would have probably liked, and nursing his throbbing head with his right. But headaches aside, he was mostly fine, though he still whimpered from the throbbing. What was that?... Whatever it had been, he didn't wanna be hit by it, it'd probably hurt a lot more than it had his head.
But as the dust settled over the opposing team, instead of looking for them Jace started to sniff the air and listen, trying to pinpoint the now hidden team with his enhanced sense of smell and hearing. If he was successful, he would try to not show he knew, though his ears would still perk slightly to where he believed them to be and he'd sideglance the area. He'd also tap Kirk's shoulder, much gentler now. M-My hearing and smelling is a lot more sensitive now, s-so, uhmm, I'll try not to lose them...So..What should we do? Jace was fully willing to follow Kkrks lead, wherever it may take them.

The cheer of Kirks mighty voice (followed by Jace's semi spooked but hopefully excited yelp) and the sound initializing the competition were only drowned by the sudden loud explosion, seemingly caused by the bug! The punch outright busted up a huge cloud of dust in the middle of the arena they were gonna be running in! "Well, that's convenient!" The handy thing about big clouds of dust? They could hide multiple folks, even without entering it! Well, besides maybe the big dinosaur who could just look over the cloud if you weren't in it...
However, what caught him off-guard worse, was the sudden shout of his own carried friend! Oh dangit, don't tell me he is already spooked, Kirk thought briefly, Only to feel that the boy certainly felt different now... And warmer... And the clawed hand on Kirks shoulder pretty much told him all he needed to know about what the boy had done. "Man, you are quick!" Way faster to get going than he had expected that is. However, now, the important thing, was the tag team plan! Apparently the boy could keep them informed about what was coming, so they had pretty much the perfect choice on who to pick as their first target!
On one hand, they could just jump into the dust cloud, and try and grab stuff from the big pile of them! However... Kirk couldn't help but feel like that was almost like attacking their own team, since same school and all that. Heck, the bunny was their classmate! The problem was that it left them with either the loud and big dinosaur with the thick skin and tiny lady on top of him, or the duo of... well Kirk couldn't really say much about them other than that they looked weird and that would have been rude. And what he had learned with Risaka and some others was, that diving head on against some ability that you didn't have any idea about what it was risky and best way of getting you in trouble...
So, with those two thoughts, ironically, the first target for Kirk and Jace duo... Was the giant tyrannosaurus! Atleast he wouldn't surprise him with shenanigans of weird kinds!
"Ready to uh... Face your fears head on!? Cause you gotta tell me, if you want me to dodge!" He leaned forward, And started running towards the cloud of dust, only to make a sudden sharp turn towards where the dinosaur was gonna be! He looked directly towards him, as he pulled out his tennis racket... This way he pretty much knew what was coming from his direction atleast, and would be ready to dodge, or perhaps even get a hit in himself against car sized creature! Rest would be up to Jace to info him about... And well, atleast in coolness factor he would get some points... right? "BIG BOI OF THE BRITS! MEET BIG BOI OF U.A!" A bolsterous taunt towards some things he knew were coming his way!

so put that ring away and cash it in Thank god Jisa wasn't a coward. She gave him a hearty slap on the back, approving nods validating his suggestions. "Exactly. You're the most mobile." A diminutive frame and legs like thunder put him in the exciting position of bandana-bandit. Yet despite his advantages, he still proposed defensive strategies, drawing a heavy sigh from Heidi. Leave it to Support Studies to go the passive route. "The less prep time they have, the better. Offense is what we'll do. We'll rush at the enemy and launch you. Grab all the headbands you can." No room for agreement or negotiation, her finality of tone made it clear. As for Charlie, the oceanic creature complied, committing to act accordingly. Took her long enough. Into formation, an awkward trio they made, but she couldn't really complain. The tips of her thumb and index finger met in a classic, tacit "okay." Being ferried around was ideal. With the unofficial title of captain on her shoulders, victory might be within reach. "Cover your ears!" she barked in Japanese as a pulsing arm drew far back. She pushed an unburdened hand against the side of her head, then pressed her other ear into her shoulder. Inelegant, but functional. She twisted away from the blast, though unnecessary thanks to Charlie's hulking size acting as shield. The crack of earth split her ears apart, though the hearing damage could've been worse. Particles circulated high to low. Coughing kept it out of her lungs. Welling tears served to protect her eyes, while her dizziness sent her into a crouch. She shifted Jisa onto her shoulders, then recovered her balance with a bulky hand enveloping hers. "Good. Yeah. Good. Great, actually!" Hot damn, that was some punch. No wonder her classmate hesitated to swing at a person, that thing could liquify heads. Palm to palm, Heidi gave hers a squeeze, watching through thick air a bubble emerge. Soon, their team was reduced to a duo, at least from an outsider's eyes. Still keeping grip, she pulled at her fellow horse until it looked like she was holding Charlie's severed hand. "It worked!" As if it came as a surprise that her quirk was anything less than fully functional. "Jisa, climb up her arm, then hang onto her shoulders. Keep your head low and ears flat." If they had to stay touching, then by associative property, having their rider stick to one horse was fine. Hopefully the lagomorph could use the visible claw as a starting point to feel his way up to his new resting spot. As long as the top of his head didn't extend past Charlie's they should both be well hidden in her box. "And Charlie, keep your arms close to your body, as much as you can while moving." She didn't expect perfection, especially if they had to stay holding hands, but the less visible the crustacean mutant, the better. The dust thinned, and if their rider readjusted in time, Heidi would be left looking abandoned, save for a floating blue forearm. A jerk of the arm steered them all toward the corner, where the Chinese team stood waiting. "Let's knock 'em out!" Freedom of movement hindered, but certainly not erased, she dragged them along at an initial crawling pace, then ramped up the speed as she and Charlie synced up.

As they simply spoke in Chinese, there was no need to discuss in whispers what they would do, they just start somewhere after all. Their combination looked awkward and Cheng at first did not agree with Zhao for forming their cavalry battle like this. But he also got very crazy when Zhao threw facts at him about strategy that he quickly said: "alright, alright, I will do it." He was just taller than Zhao, hence the strange combination, but people might underestimate them now in general and Cheng was in for the view of the faces of their opponents. With one last check on the band on his tight he was sure that it would be good to start.
Cheng was wearing his school track suit with two bags on his sides, he would use that for his quirk. He couldn't wait to try something out, Zhao was paying more attention to the stage than he was, missing the idea of what the others were up to, it didn't really matter, he did not have to walk. He wanted the strategy to be to stand still and wait for their greatest show down, but Zhao again did not agree.
"A man grows most tired while standing still."
They both turned their heads at the sound that was much louder than they expected, Cheng really had hoped that he would avoid such things, "Oh well, before you know it, we are hole again." He made on purpose the mistake between the two words, but his English might not be the best to use as a joke on his Chinese fellow student who did not pay attention to him but just walked backward to get out of the way of whatever was happening. Smokescreen. He considered transforming and getting over the cloud to see what they were all doing, but that meant they would break their tactics, this was going to be all about tactics. He had to nudge Cheng to get into gear and grab the balls to at least know what he was going to do. They had to look for the team that made the smokescreen, after all it was loud and clear that the Yuuei student was going for the British one. And since it were four teams, Zhao and Cheng had to get ready, but they were playing the waiting game, it might be the best part of what they could do now, not overuse but be on their feet and ready.
Zhao called their tactic with another chinese proverb:
"Be not afraid of growing slowly; Be afraid only of standing still."
and all Cheng could do was groan and just look around to make sure he was paying attention well enough. While Zhao held his spear in both hands, ready to dodge and block whatever was needed.

"We're gonna take em out, screw those silly bandanas" Lucas told Melissa, she smiled and nodded her head in agreement. It would be much easier to get them to surrender instead using Lucas's large size and strength. While everyone was prepping their fight Melissa placed both her hands on Lucas's back where she was seated and created a black tary and sticky substance she placed both her shoes on it so that she'd stick onto him and wouldn't fall off it looked like she was surfing on his back. She tied the bandana around her lower right leg and she had helped lucas tie his bandana onto his right arm. Lucas had a shot of adrenaline running through his veins from his war cry, everyone looked like little bugs to him despite only being the size of a hatchback car, if only his ego matched his size. He said giving a Melissa held on and gave a big grin as she held onto him, a sudden loud bang was heard and Lucas and Melissa were both caught off guard by it. A bunch of dust and dirt and other things were kicked up by the blast creating a smoke screen. Lucas was tempted to charge in but Melissa called his attention towards something "HEY REXY WE GOT A PROBLEM." she said looking over and seeing a tall muscle body builder god charging towards them and a...cat? Oh god he was a cat! Well whatever they were together, they were running straight for them.
Lucas gritted his teeth, those two pipsqueaks want to charge at him? Good, it's time for a game of chicken. "What problem? I got this, get ready Melissa." he said practically yelling loud enough for everyone to hear him, he was super pumped to show his stuff. He began to charge straight at them, his feet causing sudden thumps on the floor, despite only being the size of a hatchback car Lucas was very strong and weighed more than normal. He began to charge straight for Kirk and Jace and made a slide move to the right so melissa had a clear shot at them from the side. Melissa pointed her palm at the two boys and shouted "TAKE THIS" she said before firing a small stream of tar at them. If the tar comes into contact with any object it will cause any surface to become sticky and adhese to the next surface it touches for one turn. She wanted to help keep them in place so that Lucas could take care of them, if Melissa missed the tar would land on the floor and form small bubbles and Lucas would charge again at them.
~~Tldr~~ (For the sake of clarity please use TLDR bullet points at the end of the post in order to make it easier to see what everyone is doing <3)
. Melissa used her tar on her shoes to stick her onto lucas's back. . Lucas has a bandana tied on his right hand and melissa has her tied around her leg. . Lucas charged at kirk and Jace and moved to the right at the last moment to avoid a head on collision . When lucas moved to the right melissa fired a small stream of tar from the palms of her hands. This tar causes whatever surface it touches to stick onto something else. Tar stickyness lasts for one turn round after it lands on a substance

so put that ring away and cash it in A bulky build made for clumsy feet, hobbling with mutants in tow. As they burst forth from the cloud, earthy overlays lifted, sending fresh air into her lungs. Her targets, one stacked atop the other, seemed to sway in the breeze that dispersed Charlie's damage. It was an odd sight, with the smaller of the two stepping up as support, a decision likely driven by quirks. Quirks she couldn't decipher given their mediocre appearances or even their lackluster gear. "There's a 'no maiming' rule, so why the fuck does he have a spear!" Sharp, a low hiss, meant for her teammates' ears as mere rhetoric. Whatever. It was go time. Charlie had thick skin. Literally, or so she had claimed. "Char, swing around front and push the bottom guy down. When you stretch out your limbs, be quick about it." They had the element of surprise if the Chinese team remained ignorant, but the bounding box could barely enclose them. Her hand still shook a severed, floating blue, so that was one hint Heidi wasn't exactly alone. "Jisa, aim a kick at the top one. Try to swipe his headband off." Springing out from the veil should give them pause, spooking them through and through. If her teammates did as told, their opponents would notice Charlie's floating handshake drift out from behind to the front of Heidi's torso. Her first reaction to the Chinese horse toppling, in the event they succeeded, would be to try and seize his weapon for herself, ripping it from his clutches. Jisa, assuming he didn't fuck up, would find Heidi's arms outstretched and ready to catch him. He couldn't exactly navigate back to mast, y'know.
wc: 280 TL;DR: Heidi plays backseat driver- Her headband is wrapped around her head
- Tells Charlie to tackle Zhao and Jisa to facekick Cheng.
- If Zhao falls, she'll try to take his spear
- If Jisa goes for the kick, she'll try to catch him

Well, this is what Kirk had gotten them into! A loud shout by the girl on the dinosaurs back informed him that their attention had been grabbed. "HECK YEAH YOU HAVE! ME AND MY DUDE" He shouted to confirm almost instinctively. However, there was this slight moment of regret, as the dinosaur proceeded to charge towards them wildly! Admittedly, Kirk had always wanted to be in those movies with dinosaurs in them, But still, a beast like that running at you would kick in any sort of running instinct! Luckily for him, though, he was running forward anyway, And as they were about to make head-on contact with the dinosaur, Kirk proceeded to jump towards his own right to dodge him...
Only to see the dinosaur do the same thing. Kirk blinked a couple of times. "...The big guy dodged?" Well that was unexpected! Almost like they had pretty much mirrored their moves! However, his attention quickly shifted towards the girl who shouted and launched something black at them! And of course, Kirk with his sportsman instincts, lifted his racket to meet the thing head-on! A loud SPLAT flew about, As small bits stuck to his face. The racket had turned into almost big black soggy lollipop. "Dangit!" Somehow this always tended to happen whenever he used the racket. Something gooey would go through it and grab it! However, the dinosaur immediately seemingly turned to run towards them again. Admittedly, Kirk didn't have a much better idea, BUT what he did have was an evolution of it! Hitting something that big with something sticky just brought up cartoons to the mind, so it was time for a much smaller and more portable weapon! He grabbed a tennis ball from his chest, and proceeded to charge again! However, this time, As they would come across each other, He would smack the ball full force against the ground towards the way the dinosaur was going. The sheer force of it would bounce the ball upwards like a delayed uppercut. Although, it did come with the problem that he hadn't exactly aimed at anything specific. The good thing though, was that his enemy was a giant dinosaur. He didn't NEED to aim!
However, for the actual charge, Kirk, now accepting the fact that this dinosaur was a little less primal than he had thought, this time would only dodge if the dinosaur didn't dodge.Kirk could feel the thumps of his steps, as he ran past him very near to him... It was like passing by a train... This was pretty much the definition of hit and run. And he could keep doing it for quite a while if nothing surprising happened... Although, his partner hadn't yet done anything. "You got any ideas, dude?! I don't think I am getting any closer to grabbing those bands!" He asked... Man, he was sweating like a pig. It was like wearing a furcoat in the summer!
- Rans towards him bravely... - Only to dodge as the dinosaur also dodges! - Kirk is a bit baffled. - Racket is now tarred as heck! - proceed to run towards him again, only dodging if the dinosaur doesn't dodge! - However, bounces a ball from the ground at great strength towards the big guy! - Asks for advice from his partner about going and catching the bands!

He gulped heavily as things were going underway. But he tried to hold in his worry hanging on and adjusting as they needed him to when they made their attacks and maneuvers. Jisa himself trying to make sure not to be a burden while he was carried moving as best he could to try and make sure not only being so light weight but also to try and allow them as much free movement as well as they required to properly make their attacks and maneuvers towards their many opponents. Jisa himself waiting for the right moment to strike as well. He had to be able to not only find a nearly perfect moment to strike but also opened for the counter to shoot himself back so he didn't end up fumbling around mid air and hitting the ground with a goofy thump and embarrassing himself.
But just as Heidi had requested when the time came he crouched in their arms and kicked off their forearms with a massive kick trying to soar at the intended target and smash hard after flipping mid air into the target. Trying to land like a small canon ball with his feet first into chengs face if he could. Trying to smash his feet hard into chengs face then kick off with all the force he could muster again to shoot himself back towards heidi hopefully landing back in her arms safety
---- Jumped towards Cheng from the top of Calvary position Tried to drop kick him with bunny feet in his face then kick off back towards Heidi so he wouldn't hit the ground.

藤岡 シャーロット Stuck in the deal I've been handed, Got me stranded, Force me to swim or drown, Nothing is the way that we planned it, Take for granted the signs that I leave around WORDS 199 NOTES TldR: Charlie tries to go for Zheng, trying to push him with an open palm to his shoulder. This is the arm that she punched with, so it's sore. |
Charlie's arm throbbed painfully from the punch. She wanted to clasp her elbow with the opposite hand, but the opposite hand was supporting Jisa. Charlie wasn't entirely sure if what Heidi's box did, but they were cutting through the settling dust and bee-lining towards the Chinese students, and there Chinese students were just standing there. Not preparing themselves or anything.
Heidi gave her orders.
“Okay!”
Jisa went first, springing off of Charlie and out of the box, as it were. Charlie's turn. She clenched her mandibles against the dull ache of her arm and ducked around Heidi, extending an open palm towards “the bottom boy”. Even though she'd never dealt an explosive open-handed shove, she'd rather play it safe than sorry. Her arm unveiled quickly, just as it did when she was throwing a punch, and attempted to connect with Zheng's shoulder.
It felt gutsy, and a little stupid, to be shoving quirker kids with no apparent mutations. For all she knew, this boy had an “incinerate on contact” quirk, and she was moments away from being flambéed. You could always trust mutants to have mutation-centered quirks… it was emitters and transformers that you had to be careful of.

Jace tried to smile at the compliment he'd gotten for his speed in how he transformed, but it was kinda difficult. Partly because he didn't really have much to do with the speed of his transformations, and another larger part due to how that very same speed betrayed him as it made him more vulnerable to that stupid boom, whatever it had been. If he'd been a few seconds slower, he'd have been like everyone else, surprised but fine. Instead his face was still grimaced in pain as his head still throbbed and ears still rang, even as he explained his abilities to Kirk. But unfortunately the fight wouldn't pause for Jace to down a bottle of aspirin, so instead he pushed onwards!
Jace, for his part, was pretty sure of the targets. The fellow UA students. After all, with his advanced senses being an ace up their sleeve, they had a clear advantage, especially in that dust cloud! The team was obviously using it to gain the element of surprise, but this way the ambushers would instead become the ambushees! And while it might seem cruel to target your fellow students like that, especially with rival school students being a choice, for Jace it wasn't quite that simple. Mostly cause he didn't know these people at all, he'd transferred here so recently that at the moment they were neither his classmates or his schoolmates. Instead they were just people who happened to be going to the same school as him. Heck, he didn't even know their names, let alone their quirks! Well, except for the bunny girl and the insect boy, those two were pretty self explanatory really. So when Kirk asked him if he was ready to face his fears as he ran towards the dust cloud, Jace took a deep breath and nodded. Yeah! Go-...Wait..DodgeaaAAAH! As Jace prepared to give directions, the second part of that sentence hit him, right as Yuueis favorite jock took a very, very sharp turn right, forcing him to wrap his arms around Kirk as he swung around in his pouch like an unbuckled car passenger. WHERE ARE YOU GOING??...Oh... As Jace yelled at Kirk asking what he was doing, it soon became very apparent. After all, it was pretty hard to miss that giant T-Rex.
Thankfully Jaces confusion over the turn of events didn't last long, Jace realized pretty quickly that while he might be too new to feel too guilty to attack his fellow students, this did not apply to Kirk, who apparently decided on a different course of action. He couldn't hide the sigh that escaped him though, some warning would have been nice, especially if they were going to be surrendering their advantage so early. And this sigh quickly doubled into a whine as Kirk decided to offer some banter when the other team realized that they were being targeted as well. Don't antagonize them that'll just make em mad... And he was promptly ignored as Kirk challenged the T-Rex charging at him. For a second Jace thought they were going to collide and felt his heart almost stop, until both dodged, the T-Rex doing so in a rather nimbly fashion too boot. What?... Jace was as confused as Kirk was at this, and his shock almost made him miss the girl shooting something at them. Jace could only raise his eyes, before Kirk thankfully reacted faster, turning around and smacking it out of the air. Or, that had been the plan at least, as in reality it just sorta splattered all over the place, some landing across Jaces face. It was sticky, and once again his enhanced senses worked against him as a strong, foul smell coming from the racquet assaulted his nose, smelling like oil but somehow worse. Still, better than being covered in the stuff. That was close thanks! It really smells though...What is this stuff?
He didn't really have time to give it much thought though, as soon they were going for another pass. This time though, Kirk threw a tennis ball at the dinosaur. So this was how desperate they were. And then Kirk asked if he had any ideas as they got closer, and, unfortunately, he did.Y-Yeah...J-Just get me close... He was stuttering again, and for good reason. What he had in mind was really risky, but for all his nerves Jace was not the patient person and he'd rather take the opportunity he had now than wait for one that might never come. And for all his faults, Jace did have one brave thing about him. He didn't hesitate when he's made a decision, so as the approached again, Jace put his foot on Kirks shoulder and right when they got next to each other again he jumped, attempting to cling onto the the T-Rex with all his claws like a cat clinging to a tree, aiming to get on its back where falling would be harder to do. At the same time his bare skin would finally have orange hair grow from his arms and face, only for it to ignite into flames just as it became visible, covering his arms, legs, and his tail. Not only would this hopefully be uncomfortable for ol' rexy, but it was a deterrent as well. He was pretty sure that this girl wouldn't try to shoot what he was pretty sure was flammable all over her friend while he was on fire. And then Jace would make his move if he was still on, dashing on all fours across the t-rex towards the tar girl, where if he successfully reaches her would try to do two things, take her bandana and ignite the tar she was standing on. He really hoped Kirk had been right about their clothes being fireproof. Success or not though, he didn't plan on sticking around, and would dash off the tyrannosaur, making an attempt on his bandana as well. But like before, success or failure, he didn't stick around, instead leaping off as close as he could towards Kirk and unigniting himself as he let out a single yell. KIRK-SAMA!!
Summary: ...I swear I didn't mean for this to happen it just did....
-Jace half smiles at the compliment for his transformation speed. Also, big booms and enhanced hearing don't mix! Who knew? -Jace thought they were targetting the fellow UA students, and doesn't feel particularly guilty over this since he doesn't really know them. (Also thinks Jisa is a girl and Charlotte is a boy) -Tries to give Kirk directions using senses, until Kirk makes a sudden exit stage right, throwing Jace around in the process -Jace puts together what's happening, wishes he'd been told earlier but accepts it -Is surprised at t-rexs nimbleness, and also caught off guard by tar girl -Kirk saves the day by swatting the tar, and he realizes it smells like oil -Kirk asks if he has a plan. He does. A very bad one. -Kirk throws tennis ball at T-Rex, and as its distracted when Kirk gets as close possible during this he attempts to leap and cling on using his claws. -Also grows hair/fur and ignites it so tar girl doesn't get smart and burn rexy with Jace(really hope these clothes are fireproof) -Going all in now. Attempts to blitz tar girl on all fours, and tries to take her bandana while igniting the tar she's standing on (really, really hope these clothes are fireproof). Then jumps off, trying to take rexys bandana as well, but not stopping if he can't, jumping towards Kirk while unigniting himself.
Transformation: 2/3
Ability:Cats Grace Type: Enhancement Rank: F Effect: Thanks to his enthusiasm for athletics, Jace is actually a rather nimble person and can perform feats of acrobatic agility like a well trained individual. He can even move well on all fours, though this is really only useful in his transformed state.

Cheng did look left and right, not entirely focused, not entirely worrying, he would be fine. He had this stupid strategist with him after all, he spun one of the green tennis balls in his hand, he had a couple but that did not mean he should use them loosely, he wasn't ready to hear another inspirational quote of the Chinese empire from Zhao anyway. His eyes looked shortly at the other teams but the curiosity was pulled by the sound and the smokescreen so even if Cheng threw glances at the other teams, he tried to pay attention to that.
Which was exactly what Zhao was doing, he heard his partner be surprised when only one person seemed to show up. "Huh where did the rest go?" Cheng said but Zhao said nothing, statistically this girl could not be by herself, that would mean that she had already lost in the cavalry battle, he had not intensly watched the other teams but they were an exception as they were two that carried one. That meant any of their quirks either made a connection to her so the rules allowed it and they were still hidden by the smoke screen or they were there. He waited, calculated the exact step until he allowed his quirk to take form. "Hold on Cheng." Was all he said, holding the legs of the boy on his shoulders, Zhao stared to turn, becoming taller, bigger and green. The attempt of hitting his shoulder was now caught up with the scales of his body, he did feel it, he did not like it and let out a roar of a dragon, "Holy shit calm down!" Cheng called in an attempt to hold on to his partner and swinging the ball from his right hand towards the rabbit that tried to hit him in the face, instead because of Zheng growing, more like hitting him in the face, albeit it was closer to the dragon's collar bone. Now that they were towering above them, Cheng tried to throw multiple balls (3 in total) each at their individual target while Zheng did nothing, he would just stand there, trying to get his bearings now that he changed again, surely felt uncomfortable, "Come on Zhao, move!" His partner yelled, it was good Cheng had never heard of the words: fear of height, that was for sure.
Cheng directed the three green orbs each individual, one after the other, the first trying to hit the rabbit (or was it a hare?) in the middle, trying to knock him off with the force of the little thing. Trying to hit the blue-haired girl towards her left shoulder and the last ball directed at the arm that he saw. It was better than trying to do nothing he thought so himself.
tldr: Zhao turned into a dragon, making Charlie hit him at his stomach instead of shoulder and Jisa missing Cheng but hitting Zhao at his collarbone/shoulder. Zhao now is a 10 meter long dragon, he grew still when the two of them hit hence the location of where.
Cheng threw three tennis balls using his quirk of spinning it and thus being able to direct them towards all three of them, one for Jisa, one for Heidi and one for Charlie.

so put that ring away and cash it in Steering this tragic triangle top-down turned out to be a miracle. All she had to do was spout strategic nonsense, and just as a Capsule Creature responds to its trainer, her teammates followed through with ease. Oh rad! This whole tussle was hers. With Heidi as the mind and the mutants as muscle, victory could taste no sweeter.Until a conspiracy unfolded before her eyes. When the lanky foundation of the Chinese stronghold began to stretch and mold, she dug deep into her track pants and whipped out her phone, deft thumbs activating her camera. "Lizard people are fucking real!" A vertical pan then snagged in 1080p that majestic, mythological frame. At the serpentine summit, she noticed the partner still scrambling to find his balance. Specks of green waved in his hand. Time to end the scene. With her free hand clenched around her device and the other still tight on Charlie, she braced herself, eyes pointed up, to catch a falling hare. Then fluorescent green ballooned into her view. One swerving to Jisa, then two aimed below. Self-preservation taking the wheel, she yanked the shrimp's arm in front to deflect the rubber projectile. Cooperation be damned, tough skin did wonders against tennis volleys. Her gaze continued to soar through the skies, locking on a freefall furball. "Jisa!" She'd lunge to try and catch him at the last second, but being tethered to a giant mantis shrimp left her more immobile than was ideal.Relaxing her pull on her makeshift shield, she glared at the teetering tower threatening to take the top spot. "His aim is too good," she seethed. They were too close in proximity to discern any curve to the trajectories. Their rider had a good arm, but whether it stemmed from his quirk wasn't set in stone. That pouch guy, Kirk, for instance, frolicked around with baseball bats to compensate for his uselessness, so who's to say these tennis balls didn't function the same?Either way, they had bigger issues to deal with. "Still on your feet, Char?" Periodic status updates couldn't hurt, especially since she couldn't just glance her way.Regardless if Jisa managed to land safely, she rolled the fallen tennis ball closer to her, only to send it sailing out of bounds with one huffy kick. She tugged on her fellow horse to do the same. "Let's get these little fuckers outta here!" She swore if he had some stupid ball generating quirk, she'd go mad. Otherwise, best to punt his weapons away.
Now back to that reptilian shock factor. Transformation quirk confirmed. And a fun one, too. "Hey! Dragon boy!" Hand cupped for volume, then pointing at his partner sitting on top. "After this is over, can I take a turn?" Shame if they couldn't understand Japanese.

While Jisa was able to be caught by his compatriot he still felt the sting of one of the tennis ball projectiles careen into his face as he looked back as tension loomed about his foes not far behind. The Collision into his face and little wiggling nose caused him to briefly loosen up if not relax his muscles in Hiedis arms. A little blood dripping from his tiny sniffer. Clinging tight to her as briefly he seemed to be caught in a daze with little control for a few moments minorly helpless in the grasp of his fellow allies. The small bunny not built so much for conflict directly as it was anyway.
"Ew,... My nose is bleeding and my strong senses... It making my head spin." He'd say feeling a little sick as the scent of fresh blood flew within his nostrils flooding his strengthened sense of smell. He tried to regain some sort of composure and posture where he should have been atop their Calvary position but did so slowly and sluggishly. Things most certainly weren't going as planned for the little bunny boy or his friendly allied trio bellow. Hopefully luck would shine on them in the coming turns.
---- Jisa managed to land in Hiedis arms. Was hit directly in the face by a tennis ball. A little dazed with a bleeding nose.

291 words ft. heidi and jisa
The blow should have landed, but-- what her eyes saw was beyond description. There was a guy and then-- there wasn't. Charlie was high-fiving a dragon-tummy. Charlotte took a step back, gaping slightly at the sight. You had to be kidding. Char watch as her small, fluffy friend rebounded off of said dragon, a thrill running through her. Someone had to catch him. She was just about to run get him, when someone snagged her arm.
She felt the tennis balls rebound off of her forearm, and the prawn said some unsavory words in response. Yes, even though her arms weren't fleshy and peachy, there were still nerve-endings, and it still hurt. Charlotte flinched involuntarily from the pain, withdrawing her arm from Heidi's grasp (and nearly smacking her teammate in the face in the process.
"Son of a bitch," Charlotte grunted, shaking the soreness from her arm, "I know I'm armored, but could we... not?"
Like, for fuck's sake, dodge your own tennis balls. How the hell did he throw that hard, anyways? Geez... Somehow, in the chaos, Heidi had managed to catch Jisa. Charlotte took a brief moment to look at Jisa's nose, which was steadily streaming blood. She then looked skyward towards the dragon and his riders, humming to herself. Going airborne seemed risky, if they didn't want to take a tennis ball to the face or the gut or whatever.
"Maybe if we get them to chase us, he'll be lower to the ground and then we could... I dunno, snatch a headband?" she asked Heidi, hoping she would translate to Jisatsu, "Off the dragon or, uh, off the dudes." One of them didn't look too steady after all, "Wonder what happens if you piss the dragon off!"
OOC notes: Char takes 2 tennis balls to the arm! And proposes another idea!

"Oi!" Cheng called down, he was basically drumming Zhao on the back of his big green head but the Dragon-boy was not moving. "You okay buddy! I didn't mean to hit you in the face!" But well moving objects or people in this case were difficult even if he could control the loop of the ball with his quirk, he was not able to control and look at three spinning tennis balls at the same time. Finally it seemed that his shouting, which was what Cheng had to do he thought before his voice would carry to the now itty-bitty-people on the ground. Okay that was ridiculous to think but he still did not understand completely where that third person was, he had seen the hand, armour, what was it. He threw another tennis ball up with his left hand but did not pay attention to it, he only had two more, this was why they brought the spear, defend, and throwing back up the tennis balls to Cheng but Zhao had to move, all his big talk about not standing still and he now did so.
Finally the dragon shook his head, but Zhao could not speak in his normal language, which was okay because his English wasn't as good as Cheng's and he rather would not say a thing but he could let out a roar and he felt angry about the pain that the collision to stomach did, he had the urge to vomit while transforming, that seemed to be gone now a bit, the scales might help with that. He lowered himself a bit so Cheng could aim for the blue haired girl again, was she the leader, the one that kept the box hidden, he actually didn't want to swing too hard at her, what if he hit the bunny again! Cheng could be a bit of a softy at some points, especially once seeing blood, good that he was so high up here. Zhao at the same time moved his left hand or more like claw to try and smack the three of them on the ground, he counted two but he had seen the arm too and especially felt it, to break up the team would mean they win.
TLDR: Cheng feels bad, so he hesitates to throw a ball but throws it at Heidi's shoulder, on the right for him, left for her. Zhao lowers a bit be able to reach for the team with his left claw hoping to disturb them and break them up.
