Having met quite a few new people, Miku didnt want to just stop there. There was one place she hasnt checked Fenghuang High. Well, not the actual one in China. But the people that came here. She hasnt met anyone from China, but she wanted to. For several reasons, one is friendship and the other is knowledge. Knowledge of the competition, Quirk knowledge, knowing how they fight and what they might do. Miku was not the strongest person in the battle tournament so she needed all the help she could get to get an edge over the others. She knew that there was no way she could win with other powerhouses like Jasmine or Darren. But if she could get at least one or two victories, she would be happy. If she won more, then that would be amazing, but she didnt have high hopes.
As she thought about her chances at the battle tournament when she stopped and realized that she had no idea where anyone from China would be staying. Miku was mostly spending her time here at the stalls of the cooking club, so she didnt get to explore much and learn the layout of the event area "Maybe wandering alone wasnt the smartest thing ever" Miku thought to herself

“Shaolin Wǔ Bù Quán!” intoned a feminine voice, firmly yet with a softness to her. “SHAOLIN WU BU QUAN!” answered a choir of mixed voices.
The girl made the first move. She drew her fists to her waist, blocked an imaginary kick with her left hand as she dropped into the horse stance and drew it back as she punched in the direction of the imaginary opponent with her right fist, twisting her hips into the bow stance. The crowd imitated her, some doing far better than others. “Keep your body relaxed through whole movement,” she instructed, effortlessly maintaining her stance. “At point of impact is where you tense. When you twist your hips. The legs are very important, you draw power from earth in gong fu,” she continued. Her Japanese was not exactly fluent, but she had no trouble making herself understood despite her wording being a little awkward at times.
A little ways away from the main stalls, Fenghuang High had organized a demonstration of martial arts, headed by their star practitioner, Jin Chang. The girl had every quality of a martial arts instructor; diligent, conciliant, bright as a flower, she guided her classmates with a motherly blend of firmness and kindness.
No one seemed to complain that the rather innocent looking was the one teaching them in the ways of beating someone to a pulp either. To an experienced practitioner, it would be immediately clear that Jin Chang wasn’t leading through charisma alone, but well and truly with skill and imposed respect. None of the students contested her instructions and they all religiously followed. And to anyone who had seen Jin Chang fight, it would be very clear why.
But right now, the redhead was not here to fight, she was here to teach. “Okay everyone, these are the first movements of Wu Bu Quan. Please watch the rest of the form with attention!” She went through the rest of the motions composing the first form -- taolu, in Chinese -- of Shaolin kung fu, the Shaolin Wu Bu Quan, or Five Stances Fist. She made it seem easy, her balance never wavering, each movement flowing into the other like quiet mountain streams growing into a mighty river. “One more, slowly this time. It’s okay to take your time, doing it good slow is better than bad fast. Everyone understands? Yes?”
She noticed a little blonde girl heading down the path to the demonstration. “Nĭ hăo! Would you like to join us? This is free session, open to everyone!”

“Shaolin Wǔ Bù Quán!” “SHAOLIN WU BU QUAN!” "Shaolin wu what?" Miku thought to herself as she heard the voices yell something out. She went toward the source of the noise to find quite a treat. It was a girl who performed a martial art move, and she saw a crowd trying to imitate her move to the best of their ability. But compared to the girl, they were nothing. She then heard the girl speak, she was actually instructing them! "Did I just walk into someones lesson??" she thought to herself as she observed the scene infront of her as it unfolded itself When Miku heard her a bit better, she deduced that the girl was not japanese. She hoped this meant she ran into someone from Fenghuang High. She was excited at the concept of meeting someone from another hero school! Her last two encounters were earth shattering or something. Arthur was a jawdropping scary experience, destroying a drone in 7.2 seconds. And then there's Canada's Grayson Casanova Tremblay who was a ... he was something else. Miku hoped that Fenghuang High wouldnt send a scary powerhouse or an incredible flirt. Someone normal would be nice. This girl seemed great She then heard the girl speak again. Miku looked at noticed that this was directed to her. She was greeted and informed that this was a free session open to everyone.
... THIS WAS GREAT She gets some last minute training in martial arts. Surely she could surprise some of her UA students with some butt kicking China skills. "Ah! Ni hao" she greeted the girl as that was the only chinese thing she knew, she learned ni hao through anime.
"I would love to join" Miku said This meant she needed to go with the crowd and mimic what she does. Well.... you only live once.

With a cheerful smile, Jin Chang welcomed the blonde girl from UA into her class, instructing her to step in an empty spot. “This is Shaolin Wu Bu Quan, first tao of Shaolin wushu! Its what the Japanese call kata. Try to follow the moves, I will help you do it right later! Now everyone, the next move… It’s a whipped kick and a punch...” She executed herself. “Then a punch with the other hand, as you step down and block a hit from above!”
Et caetera, et caetera, until the taolu was done and every move decomposed. “That’s it! When you can do it slow, you try faster and faster. It helps build coordination and is great for training difficult moves. Now we will see about practical applications! Fenghuang students, please pair with a foreigner and explain! Don’t forget you represent our school and our tradition of martial arts!” That being said, everyone made pairs. The red-haired instructor, for herself, approached Miku. “Let’s practice together, yes?”
Behind her bright smile, she was thinking. Now let’s see if I can get some information on her… She is registered for the tournament, isn’t she? Ren is gonna be angry if I don’t learn anything… She sighed mentally. Well, he didn’t say I couldn’t teach her for real~
“What is your name, by the way?” she continued, her smile not betraying a hint of the internal conflict between her classmate’s instructions and her genuine desire to teach everyone to the best of her abilities. “My name is Jin Chang. Nice to meet you! As for practice, its very simple. You throw a punch, I’ll show you!”

Miku was welcomed in to the lesson, she stepped into an empty spot and listened to the instructions to Shaolin Wu Bu Quan. She listened and tried to mimic the instructions and the moves. After a while, it seems like each move was said and done. Now everyone from Fenghuang needed to pair up with someone foreign. Miku herself was bad at searching partners. She wasnt the type who can approach a stranger, not anymore at least
But then suddenly, of all people to approach her, it was the instructor herself! "Holy guacamole" Miku thought to herself as she saw this. What luck that the instructor would want to pair up with her! "Y-Yes! Lets!" Miku said Once the girl asked her name, Miku introduced herself "Oh, pardon me for not introducing myself. My name is Miku Hajimari. I am from UA's class 1B. Pleasure to meet you" Miku said
Once the introductions were done, Jin, the girl instructor said that Miku had to ... throw a punch. This was deja vu... sorta. Like way back at Darrens lesson. Only she was on the receiving end of the punch. Miku though had to make sure she understood everything correctly "I throw a punch, yes?" she checked

“Yes, throw it at me like that. Don’t worry, I can take it!” affirmed Jin cheerfully.
The blow having been thrown, Jin appeared to have quite blandly parried it, a simple technique to execute with some sense of timing when you knew a blow was coming. However, at the same time, she had slid her front foot behind Miku’s ankle while her attention was focused on throwing the punch. Grabbing her forearm and shoulder, Jin gently pushed down the blonde, not enough to throw her down, but enough that she would feel the hook around her ankle.
“See? While defending, I also attack. This is a major principle of kung fu. Very important to master for effective fighting. You can’t be only defending, or the bad guy will just keep attacking you, yes? You have to attack too!”
With a bright smile, Jin invited her to try the move herself, throwing a slow, telegraphed punch for Miku to get the feel of the movement, advising her on how best to parry. “I see you’re experienced in fighting too! What is your school? Why don’t you show me what you do? Ah, I know! Let’s have a light sparring match, yes? We can show everyone techniques that way. Light sparring, okay? Yes? Not heavy blow. Light. Like a breeze of wind. To show student technique, not hurt! Yes?”
What the Chinese girl was trying to offer was a session of gentle sparring, with almost no force behind the blows, more a demonstration of technique than anything. Nonetheless, it sounded like a perfect plan to Jin Chang. Ren couldn’t complain that she wasn’t getting information, and she could teach this nice UA girl at the same time! A happy outcome that pleases everyone, she congratulated herself. A good chance for everyone to learn and grow stronger. As fellow heroes, it was only good, right?

Jin was masterful in her craft, after she showed Miku how it was done, she explained that you cant just focus on defence, otherwise the foe would just attack on and on. Miku nodded "Ok. Combine attack and defence. Attack while also defending at the same time" Miku said to herself as she processed this new information. Miku saw the slow telegraphed punch and parried just like how Jin told her to. Jin then asked her for a light sparring session. And she also asked what school was Miku from "I am from UA, class 1B. And I will accept the spar! This will be the lightest of spars you've ever seen" Miku said, trying to joke a bit
What Jin offered was something that was perfect for Miku. A spar with no strength and muscle, but focus on the technique itself. Miku like the sound of that, and accepted the chinese girls offer.
The lightest sparring match in the world then started, Miku threw a light 'punch' at Jin. It was not much of a technique as Miku was still a martial arts scrub novice. She still needed plenty of practice to get a proper form for a technique
