HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? She had not even had the time today to change for the third time, she just liked the comfortable feeling of the cheerleader uniform on her body, this was a clean one after practice, she had brought two versions so she could show off her body as well as just let people know that U.A. had cheerleaders. This one had long sleeves and she wore her black leather jacket over it because it was obviously still cold outside in the winter. Rowan wondered what she should expect of the other schools, did they bring along everyone even those that would not participate in the events or should she say finales of the event? Rowan wondered, should she more see this as a sort of fair from showing their decency or what. It was strange to meet the people from England, especially considering her mother had wanted her to go there. She had not thought about it too much.
She was now just pacing back and forth to consider where she should start and what she should do and mostly keeping her body warm. She had made an appointment with Farrah, and she hoped the girl had read her text on time else this waiting around was for nothing. She wanted to make sure if they could spy on the other cheerleaders and see what they were doing, as they were new to this, it would be better to not luck dumb. She still wasn't sure if their cheering during the football match had been of any help and she did not want to make that feeling worse.
The girls from the other schools were so pretty and Rowan wondered whenever she heard them speak English if it could have been her if she had gone to the other side of the ocean. Would it all be better? Would Rowan listen? No, Lady should not give in to those feelings, she had someone here that understood, so she was totally fine.

While Rowan had shown up in a cheer uniform with long sleeves, Farrah arrived to the meeting showing surprising forethought, dressed in her fashionable black winter coat, which was long enough to reach her knees. For whatever reason, her cheerleading boots showed underneath. Besides that, she wore the same shades as always, along with a thick scarf.
The plucky poetess spotted the cheerleading club captain, Rowan, waiting in the spot where she had called the meeting. Farrah was relishing the opportunity to have a little one on one time with her, since so many of their meetings had been in large groups so far... she felt like she had yet to get to know Rowan, despite seeing her at each meeting. What she didn't know, of course, was that the subject of their meeting would be other strangers, not either one of them.
"My friend! I've taken a break from my family stroll! As your friend and teammate, I heed the bell's toll!" she announced herself, waving her phone in the air briefly and grinning wide. Seeing her friend's state of dress, she considered for a moment, then loosened up her scarf. With an alarming motion, she threw open the coat and the scarf in one motion, letting them flutter in the air for a moment before catching them with one fist.
One might be worried this was a perverse act, given how much she had just shed, but underneath was a similar cheerleading uniform to Rowan's. She smirked for a moment and raised her eyebrow, seeing if her friend would be surprised, before settling back into a cool smile... a little too cool. Her smile curved a bit at the corners and her shiver became apparent. She had worn the tank top version of the uniform, making it especially chilly given the temperature of the day.
She hugged the bundle of coat and scarf to her chest, then laughed. "Well, I hope you are enjoying the school sports fair, in spite of this frigid winter air! So far its been leisure and family fun! But whatever you need, I'll get it done!" she promised, pressing one thumb to her chest confidently.

"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" A shrill squeal escaped the raven haired girl as she ran towards both Rowan and Farrah. Of course, in all of her excitement she had completely forgotten that she was quite invisible. The only thing the other two girls would be able to see was the heavy white and red coat of the Canadian school floating towards them (with a pair of pants and black boots of course).
"You two look sooooo cute!! Look at your outfits! haaa It's so risque but adorable! I bet you guys are really popular!!" Mia could coo over them, darting around each of the girls in turn, analyzing the outfits closely. The girl was very clearly invading their personal space, even if her actual body couldn't be seen. She wondered just what kind of skills these girls had? She hadn't been aware they had a cheer squad! How strange for a Hero School! She absolutely loved the idea though! She'd done a lt of gymnastics herself and studied cheerleading closely back home but never had the opportunity to actually apply it before.
"You're such cute cheerleaders! Can you show me your moves!? I love everything about it! eeeee I know I know! Maybe I can try out!?" She asked excitedly, bouncing up and down now.

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? She looked up when someone in the corner of her eyes came towards her and Rowan was relieved to see it was her co-captain, Farrah. She grinned as Farrah spoke in her fashionable rhyme, Rowan actually wondered why she did that or if that had something to do with a quirk or so. She might ask later, even if she wanted to spy on the other cheerleaders, if they were there, it might not be bad to talk about each other to each other. Considering she did not know many but Chise from the cheerleaders, it was good to make new acquaintances.
Before she could ask or say anything, Farrah surprised her with a surprisingly quick motion with taking off her scarf and coat and it took a few seconds but Rowan would get over her surprise and grin at the other girl when she noticed the cheerleader outfit. She chuckled, she wore the other version than Rowan did and Rowan already felt a bit of the chill hitting her bones. "Well, I am glad you had some time to come meet with me. I hope it's not too bad that you had to leave your family for a while." She realized she should have invited her mother but Helena would instantly know the difference between Rowan and Lady and that would be too problematic. "I thought we might-" But before she could finish her sentence, someone squealed or something and Rowan looked left and right and noticed someone was running towards them. It was one of the girls that she had heard speak another language than English, so she wasn't entirely sure what to say. No, wait, that girl was only looking at Rowan and not saying anything. Now that the Half-Japanese girl blinked twice she noticed a coat walking towards them quite fast.
Her golden eyes, big from surprise and uncertainty, turned shortly at Farrah while listening to a compliment about risque and adorable. Ha, if only she was popular. She brushed her hair and twirled the end of her ponytail around her right index finger. "If only." She muttered in English. Show moves? Would that be a bad thing considering competition, "Ehm, do you know that you are invisible?" She decided to first, "Even if I show my moves, I wouldn't know where to direct it too apart from at your coat." Maybe there was less to worry about if their cheerleader was invisible. It would not be impressive to see, right?
** normal speech is Japanese Bold is English. (Assuming Mia spoke it as well)

"Oh, no, it's fine, oh captain of mine! We've had food and fun at so many stalls! I'm so fleet on my feet, I'll see them all!" Farrah reassured Rowan, pantomiming a run for a moment, then skidding to a stop (in place), standing on her toes. "What's on the agenda, do tell? The two of us will do it well!" she confirmed, before she heard someone with the rare distinction of matching her out of place enthusiasm upon meeting strangers. Thankfully, the one approaching was wearing a uniform, or else the sound would have been completely disembodied.
There were likely some among UA who'd scoped out the competition to get ready for the upcoming inter-school contests, but Farrah hadn't made that a priority; as such, she recognized a neat uniform, but had no idea what school it belonged to. For all she knew, it could even be a hero uniform. All she knew was... she liked it. "Mon dieu! I see those boots, and I'd like a pair! But I don't see their owner to ask anywhere!" she joked, then chuckled. "Only kidding; that's an exciting power! And your energy matches mine, a hundred miles an hour! Risque and popular? I'd like to be! As Rowan said, if only," she giggled again, flipping her side ponytail over her shoulder again and grinning. Even though she said that, her satisfied look seemed to say she was under the impression that she and Rowan were popular cheerleaders already.
Although she'd spoken Japanese (and briefly English), Rowan went into English; it was possible their new acquaintance had some mastery of her native tongue. She'd been praciticing Japanese for so long in preparation for coming over that she was finding it difficult to switch back over, but she tried to follow along. "I know! How would you like to try a toss, as the center? Luckily, you came well dressed for the winter! The move could be dangerous if we couldn't see your shape. Since we can, our efforts should go off great!" she insisted, nodding toward Rowan with a cocky smile, eager to see if her co-captain would take her up on the demonstration of conventional cheerleading wisdom.
The side of her smile twitched a bit as she realized she had some incomplete information. "Eh, your name? I didn't hear! Please say it now and I'll lend my ear. I'm Farrah di Prima, school cheerleader! The two of us are a double feature! Skillful cheer girls with moves to delight! We'll perform all over the sports fest with zero stage fright!" she announced, still not realizing that the girl was part of the competition that her school was going to face in competition throughout the day.

| "I am? Oh no! I got so excited I completely forgot about it! Hold on~ There! Tadaaaa!" Both girls pointed out that she was invisible still, one more bluntly than the other but that didn't matter, the point was made. She had a large excited smile on her face as the raven haired girl would suddenly materialise out of thin air, her piercing blue eyes looking to each girl in turn.
Clearly Rowan was the head cheerleader what with those looks and that steamy gaze, but surely Farrah was the one that came up with all the cheers with her rhymes and sing song voice. It was so exciting to meet them both! Whenever Farrah then pointed out that she hadn't introduced herself, she turned to the girl and took her hand excitedly.
"My name is Mis Wilson, I'm one of the Canadian Hero students participating in the festival! We don't have a cheer leading squad though, Mr Freeborn says it's just a big waste of time... but I think I've got enough enthusiasm to push the team. Hehe I'll be rooting for you guys too! I'm really excited to see you guys in action! I'd definitely like to perform the toss with you girls if that's alright!" She said happily, quite content with Farrah's suggestion. She had no qualms about it, and didn't doubt her own ability to perform it, regardless of the fact they had no cheer leading team of their own.

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Farrah had said it nicer than she did, but Lady had been sick of the idea of someone being overly enthusiastic and she was sure that the other student was showing off. Pretending to be very innocent all about it, asking if she really was, did you not keep an eye on yourself? If she had ever the ability to be so dumb with her quirk, she would hurt everyone. Surely that sounded like a lot of fun but that did not work for the best. After all, no one liked to be burned. "So you turn invisible when excited? I most of the time blush." Lady tried to say as a joke, she still felt that Farrah was making far too much nicer comments that she was. But well it was nice to be able to look at someone, they seemed to have the same hairstyle, albeit, at this point, Rowan had it in a bun. Her own golden eyes looked the girl up and down, well it was something. She crossed her arms and looked at Farrah who spoke to the foreigner now.
Why for heaven's sake did she offer to show that they could toss her, besides Farrah was taller than Rowan, would that be a good idea, they never really tried a toss. But she did not say anything but kept a smile on her lips, fine. They could do that. She would see the smile on Farrah her face and gave a slight shrug, indicating that she did not mind, all that needed to happen before that was the girl accepting it anyway. She was far too friendly to the competition, not that she knew what this girl was about to join anyway. She made a tsj, sound once she heard that their teacher said it was a waste of time. At least it meant they had no competition for their cheerleading performance, "Nice to meet you, Mia, my name is Rowan Sakamoto. What a shame you don't have a cheerleader team, Orlov-sensei thought it was a good idea because of teamwork and yet being able to form some motivation to work on sports, without actually playing sports." She was definitely making that up but that was okay, at least their teacher did agree with supporting them. "Let's find a place where we could make the toss, we sure as hell must have a safety net, that's very important even when not entirely necessary." Of course, the girl would agree.

"You blush, Rowan? Ho ho! I can't imagine! Dancing and singing is more my fashion! When I'm excited, I find I twirl and tap! I create such motion I have to secure my cap!" Farrah teased the cheer captain and sympathized with the foreigner. She demonstrated by doing exactly that, raising her hands in sequence and snapping, while lifting one leg and spinning. She ended by spreading her arms and waving excited jazz hands. "Aw yeah! The sequence is complete! I feel even more energetic on my feet!" It was as though Farrah was some kind of robot that powered up her motor through distracting dance motions.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance, my northern neighbor! We'd be happy to do a friend a favor! It's a shame that you haven't had a chance to cheer, but let's make up for it now by doing it here!" Farrah insisted, assuming the position on one side to carry Mia if she was ready. Something seemed a little off; she was no good at judging a situation, but she got the vague sense that her wavelength and the cheer team captain's were pretty far off compared to usual. Perhaps she was directing traffic too much and that ought to be left to Rowan, as the captain? She promised herself she'd keep that in mind for future reference... but that was a promise she'd probably break. Farrah wasn't the best at keeping her impulses under control.
She also made a mental note that she needed to meet the club's sponsor, Mikhail Orlov, in the near future. He sounded like a great person and a real visionary, if he came up with such great rationale to push the club forward!
"... Oh, yes! A safety net. Safety, sure, yep, you bet," Farrah agreed with an absent smile that made it a little too clear she hadn't envisioned a net being involved at all. It probably would be the safe thing to do, since, now that she thought about it, they'd never practiced this maneuver before. "It's just like a pyramid, only the top gets to jump! There's no reason we shouldn't set up," she thought to herself, affirming it with a nod. At any rate, it was clear that there was no way they could progress until she assured Rowan that nobody was going to end up leaving on a stretcher from an impromptu cheer-leading accident.
"... I'll bet we can borrow one for the gym! Orlov-Sensei might let us in if we can find him. Or perhaps it's already open for the fair and we can simply walk in there?" she asked. "If not a net, we could stack up some mats! Not that we'll drop her or anything like that!" she spoke in a hurry, pushing her shades down and showing Rowan her best puppy dog eyes.
At this point, Rowan was probably wondering why Farrah was fighting so hard to make sure that Mia got a cheerleading experience and was probably at least a little annoyed by it. In truth, what had started off as a stray thought had become more of an obligation in Farrah's mind once she learned that Mia wanted to be a cheerleader but had never found someone to support that desire. She'd feel like a failure as a spreader of cheer if she didn't manage to help Mia achieve that dream!

| W henever Rowan mentioned the fact that she just blushed whenever she got embarrassed, Mia was more than aware of the fact that this girl didn't like her very much... How rude was that comment disguised as a conversation piece. If this was anyone from her own school she might have given them a light smack for that, but instead Mia just maintained her smile and chuckled at the comment, bringing no further attention to it.
"I'm sorry... my emotions often dictate how my quirk reacts so sometimes I vanish pretty unexpectedly! At least you can still see my clothes and it doesn't feel like you're being haunted by a ghost of something! hehehe" She answered as she instead focused on Farrah now who seemed far more keen on the idea of letting Mia try the toss with them. She'd seen it done a million times before, practiced the movements on her own and her own nimbleness made this a piece of cake! but still Rowan suggesting getting a net, and Farrah further mentioned getting a mat to make sure that she didn't hurt herself. She gave a playful huff at that comment, but that quickly vanished as Farrah did her own little cheer in place.
"I'll be okay, I don't need a safety net! We might not have a squad back home, but that doesn't mean I haven't practiced! Here, maybe if I show you a routine I learned from the world Championships you'll believe me." She stated as she reached into her coat pocket and retrieved a bright pink cellphone. She quickly typed away with her thumb, pulling up her playlist and turning up the volume on full blast. She tossed the phone down onto the ground in front of her, and when the music began to play Mia would extend her arms forward, moving her hips in time to the beat. She brought her hands up to either side of her body as the music started, moving her hands from side to side, up and down before she moved into the full dance moves of the cheer. She'd bounce up and down, wave her arms this way and that, flip backwards at one point and nimbly act out every move the professionals from the world championships almost perfectly.
Totally this, with flips

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? Maybe the mask held a crack, maybe she was simply tired and grumpy of playing nice all the damn time. She wasn't getting anything out of this meeting with Mia except for a much grumpier mood. The fact was that she wanted to spy on other cheerleaders and well Mia had escaped her eye because she was invisible. However, it seemed there were none. No other cheerleaders which made this a waste of her time and especially because Mia seemed to be knowing what she was doing, which made the cheer captain even more out of her element. Her golden eyes again looked up the girl, up and down and back up again. She noticed that Mia noticed as well, her power play of being Rowan had just worn out. Maybe she was even tired from running around all day but Lady would never admit. "How interesting." She honed but it might sound too fake and vocal for it to be true, she did think an invisibility quirk was interesting but she was glad she did not have it.
She mentioned something about nets now that they were talking about a toss, she could hit Farrah as they had never practised that, it might be dangerous, for all of them and she was already the bad guy considering how Mia had seen the cracks in her facade. "You might not be a newbie in this but we are and I don't want you to hurt yourself." She said before Mia could finish her sentence, she did not mean to be rude this time but to be careful. Even if she would have believed Mia, which she half did, she wasn't sure they would do it right which meant that she could still hurt herself and they would not look at the person who was tossed, they would look at the people who did and that would be a bad look on U.A. but especially on the Captain. "But show us, please." She decided to add a nice word and took a step away from Mia to watch, which surely did not make an improvement on her mood, but she was trying very badly. "If only you would stay in Japan, I could use someone like you, that was great." That flip backwards was something that Rowan did not even dare, she had tried to figure out a few things during practice. "Let's get a place where it's softer to land, so we can try that toss if you want." Because Mia did seem enthusiastic, this combination of Rowan and Farrah was not the best in size either but they would have to make do, they should show how professional they were and how they could do it whenever. The dance had annoyed her, maybe she should practice some more.

The tension between her team's captain and Mia seemed to be growing rather than lessening, in spite of Farrah's efforts, the aspiring poet heroine noticed. Additionally, she might have made a misjudgment: cheering was Mia's passion and dream, that much was obvious, but the other girl also had a level of preparedness and practice that Farrah hadn't anticipated. Truth be told, she wouldn't blame Mia if she felt a little off-put, being talked to as though she were a newbie by two girls who had only been cheerleaders for a few weeks. Hopefully, the girl would take it in stride. She seemed to, anyway, and decided to show them a routine in lieu of the toss.
The routine was something to watch; Farrah had only just started getting into practice dancing in a way that would move her hips and arms in time with music. To put athletics like a flip or a cartwheel in with it would probably be more than she could manage at her level. Rather than feeling discouraged, Farrah punctuated the performance with a fit of applause, then pressed her fists to her chin and invaded the girls space a bit, looking her over as if trying to see if she had some secret invisible appendage that allowed her to perform such tricks. "That was exciting! And certainly rare! You're already a performer extraordinaire!" she encouraged Mia, piling on more flattery than was strictly warranted, but every bit of which she felt was justified.
Apparently, Rowan hadn't abandoned the idea of performing the toss after all. That was good by Farrah; she still had energy left to spare in her seemingly inexhaustible store. "Oh goodie! If we do it on grass, it ought to be fine! After all, cheerleaders perform all the time without that lifeline! Our football players risk their health, and this is far less of a risk to self! When you look at it that way, what's the harm? As long as we pay attention and brace our arms!" Farrah cheered, giving a perhaps inappropriately lackadaisical appraisal of their readiness. "I'm sure the football field is occupied during the sport's festival; that'd only make sense. But there must be somewhere around the school that's free of events! Somewhere soft, with fertile ground, for us to toss and unleash cheerful sounds!"
It was a little tricky figuring out such a place, though. Finally, an idea occurred to her. "I've got it! There's a bouncy ball pit they set up for the young! Fall on that, and only upward you're flung! If we can secure a spot over there, we can surely seize our air!" Farrah's idea was pretty safe... for the one being tossed. What it failed to account for is that the two girls with arms waiting, standing below, were not going to have a very secure base for their feet. It would make for quite a spectacle and be somewhat of a miracle if all three girls didn't collapse into a heap... probably not the giggling kind, giving Rowan's serious demeanor.
One of the others would probably need to break it to Farrah that her idea wasn't going to work unless they could somehow find a secure place to plant their feet while performing the toss.
