HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? It was quite early on Saturday morning, Rowan was on her way to the gym facilities of U.A. It was so early and cold that she could see her breath as a small white cloud and she shivered while dragging a huge bag of clothing with her, another one with the pompons and well many more things, like water bottles and things, her seamstress had worked day and night to finish the cheerleader outfits for everyone and she was very proud and happy about that, maybe Rowan had not been the nicest in that case but the girl did not know that she was, after all, making an impression.
She walked with difficulty because of that but the apartment complex was only that far away from the school that it did not take much longer than fifteen to twenty minutes to arrive. She had texted everyone that the meeting was rather soon but for those that would show up, she would have the uniforms and right colours ready. She had sent that text message yesterday afternoon and had high hopes for people to show up.
She placed the bags on the ground near the door, put on the lights and made sure to get everything ready within the hall. They needed to practice, she had a few ideas of how to do a warming up, after that she wanted to split up, have some work on the slogans and yells that would be essential and someone or multiple helping her with the routine and picking the music. It was essential to work hard and maybe all morning to get to that point, she had many ideas of how to spread the news on the cheerleaders and what to do for the sports event, she had to still ask Orlov-sensei if he agreed with all this but it could not harm if they only needed a Bluetooth box for the music and themselves, the clothing and pompons had not been expensive at all. Now all she had to do was wait, moving her hands back and forth to keep her body warm now that she was inside.
~~ The idea is to start the topic with the ones that want to join and spread it into two/three groups depending on what could be done to work on the information for the pep rally. pompon colours: White: Rimma Orange: Chise Red: Chiyoko Yellow: Hye-Rin Green: Ericka Cyaan/light blue: Lani Blue: Melody Indigo: Rowan (I changed myself from red) Violet: Arisu Black: Farrah

He'd showed up next smiling as he walked his way in. The quick little hero with a slow and steady type of natural walk often making it all the more confusing when he actually shot off with serious speed. He had when all set up dress in a pair of cheering like sports pants for the normal cheering given they were as good for him as any other training clothes. Plus he just liked the way he looked and belonging to a club for once! His upper body just as before in training ideas was bare though as given his fur if he got to worked up and also insulated he'd be reduced to a painting mess. At least this way he had colors and could show his colors still. Some part of him almost felt like a mascot but it honestly didn't really bother him in this case. The small but still large and bright enough flag with school designs on it hoisted over one shoulder held by one hand at his side. His other arm with a small cooler he had a few snacks in and a bottle of water should this go on to the point he'd need them he wanted to be ready set and willing to go!
"I'm here Rowan Chan! Ready for some training today!?!?!" He'd say with a light gusto kicking up speed suddenly from the door and bolting at a alarming pace up to her side. A heel skidding on the training room floor as he came to a sudden stop right next to her. Using his heels in a sense for emergency breaking so he didn't stumble or have to do a slow down as often when he went from full to stop speeds. The fur on his body provided a nice insulation for that as well so he didn't have to worry about skinning up his feet when he did it either.
He'd offer her a rather peppy thumbs up and sticking his tongue out lightly as excitement made it hard to be bashful today. It was fun and exciting to finally be part of a club and whats more they'd be cheering on and helping their other fellow students feel happy and ready as well! It was a rather uplifting thought when he thought about it.

--- arisu --- - - -
Arisu was, predictably, early. It was becoming clear that Arisu was the sort of club member to be on time to every last meeting barring a schedule conflict, and today was no exception- she arrived in the school-issued tracksuit and windbreaker to stay warm on the jog over, with a notebook and a pencil under her arm as she came inside and shut the door behind her, lest cold leak into the building. She spent enough time cold under the power of her own quirk, she surely didn't want to volunteer for additional chill time.
It seemed that Jisa had beaten her here, which didn't really bother her, since he was, after all, what looked to be part jackrabbit, and if she outran a jackrabbit, the bunny would need to be ashamed. No need for that, though! She raised her hand and waved towards Rowan and Jisa, heading over to join the two and waggling her notebook at them.
"I hope you guys don't mind but I looked up a whole bunch of classic cheers for reference, so we could modify them for our team, our situation, and our opponents. That's not presumptuous, is it? I know Farrah is super good with words, I'm not trying to steal her thunder."

Farrah had never been a perfect student, with numerous offenses such as being distracting in class and not listening to her teachers. Among her worst offenses, however, was tardiness... she stayed up late and didn't stress most rules, which made for a rough combination. For that reason, she had to be super careful to make sure she wouldn't miss any of her club practice sessions...
... And even then, it had been close! Fera ran out her dorm, dressed in her tracksuit top and pajama bottoms, black with white musical note designs dotted on here and there. She had remembered her shoes, her hat, her scarf, and her sunglasses, while still somehow forgetting to change pants before running out of the dorm. She grabbed up her standard-style cheerleader uniform but did not risk putting it on, having yet to feel the temperature outside. As it turned out, she made it in very decent time, and probably could have spared a few moments to get her clothes right.
She smiled, recognizing three of her friends upon entering. "Bonjour! The day is magnifique! Well suited for honing our technique!" she greeted them all, waving first, then posing with one fist on her hip and the other making a V at the right side of her sunglasses. Both hands were empty... whereas Rowan had brought two bags full of newly-made cheerleader apparel and Jisa had brought water and a hand-prepared banner. She looked to Arisu, then gave a sigh of relief, seeing the girl had come with just a notebook, much like herself. She produced her own out of her jacket pocket.
"Hm hm hm! My thunder's not stolen, but freely given! Poetry is my soul and the whole of livin'! Why should I mind if you have the bard's spirit? Frankly, I can't wait to hear it!" she chuckled, grinning at Arisu and shooting her a finger gun. "As for me, for my precious cheerleading friends, I've been devisin' new rhymes and ends! I've got some spicy new ones to make you cry in jubilation! For instance for that one, I'd use..."
She paused for a moment, thumbing through her book. The space next to that one had a few words scrawled with lines marked through them- in other words, nothing usable. It was time for a topic change. "Rowan, those costumes are lookin' first rate!" she announced, peeking inside the bag. In a flash she had danced over to Jisa, pulling open the banner to get a better look. "And Jisa, this banner takes the cake!"
She opened her notebook and displayed for the three of them a few diagrams. The first one was clearly a human pyramid. The next one looked like some kind of rolling wheel made of seven people, impossible in its design. There were more under it that seemed to only further stretch the limits of imagination. In their first practice session before the football game, Farrah had to yield to the constraints of time and avoid pitching any crazy ideas, but now she was prepared to go full force. "I was thinking we could practice our pyramids first! While brushing up on our rhyme and verse! After that we will go for some crazier formations! I cannot this one "UA-Boros Rotation!" she announced, pointing to the human ring excitedly. Someone would have to let her down easy, regarding the group's inability to perform this manuever.

these rapid eyes will keep on moving Today was the day Lani was finally going to get the official feeling of being on the cheerleading squad. She, along with the rest of the squad, was going to be given their cheer uniforms today and Lani was ecstatic about it. She still didn't know much about cheerleading at all, but the idea of helping the crowd root for her team was fun. She always saw the cheerleaders in various professional sporting events and liked the idea of it. And while she had no plans on being a professional cheerleader she didn't mind helping out her school and supporting her classmates. SHe practically did that already! So when Lani got the text from Rowan, she made sure to clear the time needed to meet up with the others and receive her uniform and pom poms. And when that morning came, Lani was already awake and ready to go. She had washed up right away and was hanging around the dorm's common area until the meetup time was set. It was early in the morning when she could catch the games playing in America, so it was a nice chance to watch them live. And sure enough, once the time was upon her, she made her way to the meeting spot. Lani didn't run there, but she had a brisk jog going. Not just because she wanted to get there as quickly as she could, but also because it was cold outside. One would think the dark skin girl would cover up to match the cold weather and this was true...sort of. Lani was not only an islander, but her quirk made her feel more comfortable with the most light that was touching her skin. This led her to wear as little as possible. She wasn't a full-on nudist and did accommodate herself for the weather, but she didn't enjoy having to cover up because of the cold. For her trip today she worked out something that could hold her over until she was inside again. Namely a black hoodie and some sheer leggings. While most of her upper half was going to be covered, the sheer material was going to let some light through while offering something to help her legs not freeze. She just needed to get to the building as quickly as she could! And sure enough, her jog got her there without her freezing to the bone. She was quick to open the door and jump inside the building. The girl rubbed her legs a bit to warm up as she looked up to see that only Rowan and three others were here. She must have gotten here pretty early if that was the case. "What's up!" She spoke up. SHe only really knew Rowan' name and that was because they had to exchange numbers. It seemed now was the time to get to know everyone. With a smile, Lani walked over to the group and placed a hand on her hip. "You've got the goods?" She asked in a jokingly sketchy voice about the uniforms and pom poms. 513 | @tagged | notes ulla

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? She was looking through the bags to make sure she had everything, everyone their colour in sets of two as well as three skirts for everyone, three sorts of jogging pants for Jisatsu, two shirts with long sleeves and two short sleeves and those depended also on having the crop top version or not. But the long sleeves were mostly for now as the winter did not make it very warm and especially not if you were outside the whole time. She waved happily at Jisatsu when he arrived at the first person and laid down all the items and the right pompons to the right uniforms as she was spreading it out. She looked up when she heard someone else and noticed a notebook before she followed the arm connected to Arisu. "Oh good morning to you too. No that's okay, maybe with Farrah's help it will be easier to change it to something for us, so thank you." She herself had mostly focused on the choreography.
When Lani arrived as well, Rowan thought it would be everyone at this point so it would be good to make a start, it would be okay if some others showed up later, after all, it was very early in the morning. The others that did show up were already there at last Sunday's training and cheering for the football team but that meant that they only got half of the new uniform and she had taken their pompons back only to be sure. She did not have any spare pompons at this point. "Hey everyone, glad to see you all here. I wanted to discuss a few things for today as the sports events are starting and I hoped we could organize a Pep Rally for our school and the others. So I have thought about a dance routine and let's come up with something we can work all together with, as well as a yell so we can show that our school is the best." It might also be nice to just show some form of kindness with the pep rally, for Lady it was just showing an impression that would make people scared of them, but she wasn't sure if that was the best approach at all.

Did she really sleep in even when she knew she had practice today? Chise rushed out of bed and quickly freshened up and got dressed, her alarm having stayed silent and not doing its job this morning. Sure, she slept very well last night, but having slept through the time she wanted to get up and get ready was not ideal. She hoped she wasn't holding the group up with not being there. The violet eyed girl tied her hair back and slipped on some athletic clothes before eating a quick snack and taking her medication before she was out the door, heading to the meeting place for cheerleading practice. Hopefully Rowan wasn't upset with her.
With a quick dash to the gym facilities, Chise rushed inside, panting a bit heavily as she stared at the other cheer members gathered towards the center. "I-I'm so sorry I'm late! I slept...through my alarm this morning and hadn't taken my medicine yet....I promise to be more awake within the next half hour....m-my medicine usually takes 20 or so minutes to fully kick in," Chise said, hand clutching her knees as her chest slightly heaved, staring over at the group for a few moments before making her way over to them to catch up on what Rowan had said. "I...I promise it won't happen again. I'll make sure to set an extra alarm or two to make sure I'm up and ready for practice," Chise apologized once more, her workout shirt feeling tighter than usual because of her sprint and catching her breath. The peach haired girl did not want to make a bad impression even though she knew most of the faces here. She reached into her bag and took a sip from her water bottle, mentally thanking herself for having packed it with her. If they were going to practice, it's good to stay hydrated.

Melody showed up in what you could consider more than fashionably late manner, she strolled in rather casually. She noticed that she was the last person in there and she looked rather confused upon second glance of the room. "Wait...What time is it?" she said looking at her phone and realizing the time she thought practice was to be held was later. "Oh...im late...Im really sorry I thought practice was at a different time, I think my alarms got switched around." she said in an apologetic tone to Rowan as she bowed. With that She'd place her bag down and pull out her pompom's. She was wearing her crop top and her black leggings to practice since they are easy to move around in and do not restrict her movement.
She looked around and took note of everyone else, the only person she recognized was Jisa so she went right on over and stood next to jisa and offered him a small smile and a wave. Her face was very red already since she embarrassed herself by showing up late, she looked towards the rest of the group as they had begun to get together and figure out what they were doing. While they talked about what to do she sat on the floor and began to do her stretches that she'd use for when she would prepare herself for dancing, they both require the same muscle so she figured it'd be the same thing. She sat down with both her legs stretched out and tried to touch her toes, she thought about what kind of stretches Jisa could do with his body since he didnt really have a normal humanoid figure, however his smaller shape and lower weight would make him ideal for being the flyer of the group.

He listened carefully as Rowan spoke usually keeping some what silent himself unless he had questions or any misunderstandings about how all of this was exactly going to work. He mostly just wanted to know and was curious how the future cheering events and the upcoming pep rally was actually going to function. His nose constantly tilted upward and in a slight wiggle of anticipation for new information as he tried to look up and keep his eyes on whoever was talking at the time or speaking about possible plans or even possible routines and or dances that they may attempting in coming events mentioned prior.
He was curious though what Arisu wanted to show them though running along the floor over to her with a rather quick gusto of foot stops. A mild set of thumps following each of his foot steps as he came over at a decent pace. His rabbit feet leaving behind the sound normally not as loud though when he was running full pace and kicking off his toes to project himself. "What kinda ideas do you got for us buddy!" He'd say with a curious and kind grin as he mossied on up to her. Also turning to offer a warm smile and wave to the late comers as if trying to get them hurry over eager to have all his knew friends get started with their ideas in full bloom.
(hope it doesnt suck sorry is small ;3;)

It was going to be a busy next few days for Ericka and there was little time to rest. As class president, she had a lot of things to look over and participate in. But even with all that juggling, she had to make time for her friends and for her brand new cheerleading squad. She was a part of it and she wanted to put forth all the effort that she could in doing it. It was this kind of extracurricular that she liked. Cheering on her classmates so they can do their very best and so that they knew the crowd was behind them. It fit her personality really well. She also wanted to get to know her cheer mates more. Of the ones in the squad, she only really knew Chise and Lani. And of those two, Ericka had spent a lot of time around the louder one. So this was a good chance to get to know more people and make even more friends. She really wanted to be friendly with her squadmates.
Today, in the early morning, they were going to meet up to get their cheer uniforms and discuss some things about the routines and events they were going to take part in. Their first meeting was mostly an introductory thing and this was the first official one, so Ericka had to make sure she showed up even if she was late. She made her way to the meeting spot inside one of the facilities as quickly as she could. Ericka was running behind, but she still wanted to at least be there. SHe just hoped that no one was angry with her for being late a second time. And sure enough, when Ericka arrived a mass of her cheer mates were already present and looking over the uniforms they were going to be given. Just as advertised, they were like the one Rowan wore at the first meeting. Ericka waited until after Rowan had finished speaking before she said anything since she didn't want to interrupt the leader of their cheer squad after being late.
"Thank you for getting those made for us." She commented, making sure the thank her for her efforts. No one had taken the burden of doing such a thing since the school year started, not even the staff of the school. But Rowan took it upon herself to make sure the team was supplied with the basics and that they got right to work on a routine to be ready for the future events Yuuei was going to be involved in. The blonde eventually stopped and stood next to CHise, seeing the girl drink some water and be a little winded. She placed her hand on Chise back and smiled. "Are you alright?" She asked, just concerned for the girl she hadn't spoken to for quite some time. Not since all that craziness at Semper Fi. But with that behind them, they could look toward happier things like making their school the very best.

--- arisu --- - - - "Ooh, good idea. Lemme coordinate with Farrah, we'll get some awesome cheers put together!" Arisu nodded to Rowan, clearly delighted at being thanked for her work, stepping back as Rowan took center stage and started laying out their agenda for the meeting. As well, she mentioned a pep rally, which left Arisu brightening a little. A bigger display of cheer presence could only bolster the club's visibility, and heighten the impact of their subsequent shows! Maybe people would even start looking forward to seeing the cheerleaders perform.
Chise's abrupt arrival earned her a surprised look, but that was followed by a friendly wave, trying to do what she could to welcome the girl without muting anyone else's possible chastising for being less than punctual. Much the same for Melody, though she seemed far less worried about all that. Ericka wasn't someone she recognized either, but again, she wanted everyone to feel welcome, even if they were late, so she waved gently, welcoming her too!
When Jisa took it upon himself to come over and investigate her findings, she beamed, crouching down to show the rabbitfriend what she had going on. "It's all pretty standard classic cheers, with a few prototype attempts at customizing them to UA and our own sports teams. I think it'll benefit a lot from Farrah's personal, uh. Flare? I can do okay, but this is really her wheelhouse- I'm more like... getting firewood for her bonfire, you know? Materials! Are you any good with chants or lyrics, Jisatsu-san?" More cheerleaders showed up who had evidently overslept even worse than she had, even the Support Studies class president, Chise. She marvelled at the fact that she had beaten them to the meetup and silently wondered how she had managed that, missing the obvious distinguishing factor that they had all dressed properly and eaten something that could reasonably be called breakfast before they showed up. No one else seemed to care that she had shown up in pajamas and thus she had no reason to worry about it.
"When you go hard all week on subjects so dense, sleeping in now only makes sense! I'm just glad we are all made it here, to so we have a chance to practice our cheer," Farrah sang along, spreading her arms to motion to all of the others. Despite her usual level of animation, even in the morning, Jisa and Lani were managing to match her pep in step. "This morning, your energy is appreciated! Vigor is how the best rhymes are created!"
"Another thing that will assist is Arisu's helpful premade list!" she agreed. "Uniforms and rhymes, I count in tally, will add up to a successful school pep rally!" With all of the bounciness of Jisa in the form of a blond humanoid girl, she took up a spot behind Arisu and, like the rabbit boy, tried to hop up and down to see over the girl's shoulder.
People were expecting a lot from her, but really, if they had seen what she had written, they would realize that tempering her craziness with some of Arisu's conventional wisdom wasn't a bad idea at all. Even Farrah began to get a sense of that, as she read over the girl's shoulder. "Captain Rowan, come here and look! Let us set side by side my and Arisu's books. The styles are so different, but together render, a tasty mix, like through a blender! When we flash our smiles and serve the smoothie, the whole festival will be left feelin groovy!"
She pulled back out her own black notebook, flipped past some embarrassing haikus she had begun writing last night, and started scribbling revisions to some of her cheers, fusing them with Arisu's knowledge of how people with classic sensibilities that didn't include cheering about, for instance, blenders and smoothies.
One might notice she was so enthralled in her work of revising her cheers that she hadn't made any mention of whether she was actually going to be at the festival pep rally or not.

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? She tried her very best to keep everyone active around her and said she wanted a yell and to practice for the pep rally, putting that as the most important factor on her list. She had already thought of something and because they did not have much time to practice she hoped the girls would find a moment in their busy schedule. She first quickly went to talk to Jisatsu to confirm if he was okay with carrying the flag with the symbol of U.A. Maybe the schools should see this as a warm welcome as well.
Then she did not want to cut Jisatsu out and just said that everyone could help with the training, she would show the dance in little brackets. She explained they would just use the plaza and should expect it to be a busy place and thus have a lot of guest staring and watching and possibly also other classmates and to invite anyone that they bumped into for the rest of the day. She would keep contact through the app but she was sure that giving it a time would be okay, she just had to make sure that the finales were not too far and yet not instantly after their pep rally but she might ask the teachers about that.
It was quite a difficult training, maybe not in the dance, because she wanted to just show off that they could do something but if the girls could do something they felt comfortable with, summersaults or flips or correspond into a great pyramid, she was all for it. She just wanted it to be good and entertaining. That was all that was needed. She made sure to get through the dance one last time before she dismissed everyone and enjoy the festival, they would surely bump again into one and another before the pep rally. It would be a success, now it was time to clean up the room.
