So she only came to warn him about some assholes that might come to arrest him? Well, it is noted and appreciated. She said how its great that he'd go to become a Pro. G was glad that she was enthusiasted about that. He wasnt as much. He prefered the freedom of Vigilantism. He did not hid just from the law, the police. But he preffered to hide from the general public as well, as to avoid fame. He didnt want to become popular for saving lives. It didnt sit right with him.
"Right... well, can you tell me is there a process for becoming a Pro? A test or something? I dont know what to do. Does a Pro need to reccommend me or something? Because... I just dunno this stuff. I feel I cant just wiki it" G said as he generally did not know what to to do. He saves people and in his book thats enough, but aparently not for the goverment
So what was that extra step he needed to do to become a Pro?
One way to find out. Ask one yourself! If she does not have an answer, then who does..... probably Haruuhi.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She wasn't sure if she was actually bothering him but as he stopped her from walking away and continued to talk to her, she assumed it was not the case. After all, Haruuhi was in the room next door, if something would be going on, he would be there within two seconds. Same as herself in case it was necessary.
"Ag the process," She thought about it for a second how to explain best without actually giving away that she was Witch Doctor, she did not want people to know for her own safety, Oz and others as well as just not finding it right that her identity was known, hence why on that day she hid her long mint coloured hair as much as she could. "Yes, there is a test. You could call it more of an examination, they would like to register what the specific applicant can do, mostly so they know who to call in the specific situations I assume as well as to know without having the identity. Not everyone would want to have the fame and everything. Some use special hero outfits to hide their identity as well as aliases." What else did he ask again? Oh right recommendations, and she giggled about the suggestion of wiki even if it wasn't funny at all. "I think the government has a website about it, you could look if it is still online. And I think there is no harm in using recommendations, might even help speeding up the process. If you need me, I could do that, as well as the other hero you know?" Because she had the feeling that he wasn't new to the idea just did not know where to start. She thought for a second what more she could add to the questions, "It's basically signing up through the government's website or the kiosk where I went and the exam follows." |

G listened to what this school nurse of a Hero had to say, and just nodded along as she talked. It was pretty much what he surmised. The actuality that he might become real soon seemed so... unreal and yet real at the same time. To think that he could go from Villian to Vigilante to a Pro Hero. It was hilarious. But G was still conflicted, was that what he really wanted? Truthfully no. As soon as he would become a Pro Hero, he was bound to became famous, something he didnt want from that job. Not to mention the position would limit his actions, he couldnt be brutal. His martial arts style of his Hawaiian people Kapu Kuialua was a bone breaking and joint dislocating martial art. Something that deals damage that would probably be too much for a Pro Hero. And considering Haruuhi has some second thoughts on becoming a Hero, G has to talk. To her and to a lot of people
"I see. Thank you very much. I have a few things to think about. But still, thanks. Now I know what to do" G said
"Haruuhi, Storm Knights, Pro Heroes, my students. I need thoughts and votes on what should I do. Go for Pro or stay a Vigilante" G thought to himself
If miss Nakahara took her leave, G would return to Haruuhi and be with her

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse "Ag no worries about it, I can imagine that it takes a while to think about. It is not some small decision." Nimue would not want to judge or force someone into something they did not want to do so she was already glad that she could inform Gabe simply of what he should be trying if he really wanted to become a pro-hero. With that she thought she had done her job, she had warned him, answered his question about the pro-hero regulation and she decided it might be best to let him go back to Haruuhi and not bother them too much. "I should go, the school is probably wondering where I am." She gave a sheepish grin because she had not told them why she was here and she opened the door after a soft knock to say goodbye to Haruuhi and wishing her good luck on her recovery and that she could always call if she needed any help from her, that was the least she could do after all. She would say goodbye to Gabe and wished him good luck as well for both Haruuhi's recovery and trying to become a pro-hero albeit she did not say the reasons to why she wished him good luck and simply waved shortly before making her way away from the room and out of the hospital, to hurry back to Yuuei.

When G would come back into the room, Haruuhi would be picking away at the splints on her arms. She didn't have anything sharp in her hands to inflict any more significant damage to herself (Thanks to the nurses who basically baby proofed the place), but that didn't mean Haruuhi wasn't going to just leave the stupid splint on. She couldn't access her phone properly with it. She had managed to take the bandaging off and was removing the splint, exposing the red and scabbed scars she'd left over-top Thunder's lightning bolt scar. If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't recognize it. But those that did would still be able t see the lightning bolt carved into her arm. It had been fully healed, but Haruuhi had kept cutting into it until she had nothing left to hurt herself with it.
She kept tracing the lines with a bit of a frown on her face, stuffing her arm under the sheet when G came walking back in. She didn't want him seeing what she'd been doing... although no doubt the nurses had already blabbed about it. Legal guardian and all that business.
"H-Hey, what was all that about? Everything alright?"
She asked, trying to further draw the attention away from what she was doing. Not that it wasn't obvious what with the splints and bandages on her bed.

When G opened the door and went to enter the room, but as soon as he did, he froze when he saw Haruuhi who nervously asked him if stuff was alright outside, trying to change the subject "Haruuhi, what were you doing?" he asked, scared, concerned but also very stern After he spent all that time stressing and fighting to save his daughter from certain death doom and harm. There was no way in hell that he would let her self harm. If he has to, he will tie her hands up so she wouldnt do that G simply didnt believe prior times the doctors and nurse told him about her misdeeds. But due to them insisting on and on, G gave a small warning to Haruuhi prior to leaving the room to talk to Miss Nakahara. He said: I'll be back in a second, you just rest in bed. And dont do anything.... fishy
It was his subtle way of warning her that he heard about her things that she did.
"I hope you're not doing what I think you're doing" he said, still sounding like an authoratative parent. And then he tried to relax a bit as to not to scare you "You know you can talk to me, right?"

Haruuhi responded quickly, her heart beating quicker as G immediately caught her in the act of hiding her arm. She hadn't actually been able to do herself any harm this time simply because she had nothing available to her to do it. She'd instead just scratched at her arm as if her nails would be enough.
The look in G's eyes though where far from impressed, and she couldn't help but look back to the bed she was sitting on. She gave a little huff before bringing her arm up against her and looking away from him towards the window for a moment. Even if she was hiding the bulk of the many scars, she's scarred it up enough that G would still be able to see them creeping to the top of her arm.
"I didn't do anything this time ok... They took everything sharp away"
She grumbled, not having thought to use the pen left behind by G who'd been writing in his journal. Damn, that one would of hurt like a bitch...
"I just..."
She paused, sighing heavily as she looked back towards G, bringing her arm forward in front of her and facing the lightning shaped scar that was there.
"I don't want this... I don't want everyone to look at me and see the stupid little girl that got caught by Thundershock... He left this stupid scar on my arm because he knew I'd get away one way or another... he knew I"d have to live with him on me forever and I don't... I'm just trying to make it unrecognisable."
She admitted, placing her hand on top of the scars to hide them not only from G, but from herself.

Haruuhi spoke how she didnt do anything this time... THIS TIME?! That meant that what the doctors told him was really true! Haruuhi then proceeded to explain herself. Once G understood her woes, he made her scoot a bit, so he could sit on the bed beside her. "Is that all? Then why didnt you call me in the first place?!" he asked and then said "Observe" as he rolled up his sleeve to show her his tattoo on his forearm
"I can just give you this sweet tattoo and problem solved! My symbol above Thunders symbol, covering it up. Plus shows some sweet symbolism that Im always on top of him, heheheh" G said proudly
Usually he'd put his symbol to display that someone or something is his property. And in this case... it fits... Haruuhi is his and his only. And he felt he should show it
"I mean, if you want we can do that. Granted, your hand needs to heal and if you dont wanna look at the scar, I suggest you cover and wrap it up in bandages" G suggested
Now he just waited to hear what she would say, would she accept his offer

The girl grumbled as she scooched over to make space for G. When he sat down, he told her to observe and rolled up his sleep to show her his tattoo. She'd seen it a million times before, so why bother showing it to her now?
"... oh"
Yeah, well that made sense. Why didn't she think 'tattoo' before 'self mutilation'? It made so much sense that Haruuhi was silently kicking herself. Sure the scar would still be noticeable by her in the end but at least those looking at her wouldn't know it was there, and Thunder wouldn't get that satisfaction.
"Do you think I could? I mean I'm still young for one right... at least in terms of legally getting one..."
She asked him, bringing her hand up to her chest and rubbing the tattoo hidden away by the fabric. This was anther mark that Thunder's men had left on her, but at least this one didn't let the world know she belonged to anyone, and at least it was actually useful to some degree.
"If I could... I think... I think I'd like that... Yeah!"
She said sounding a little bit more happy now and sure of herself again. She didn't immediately grab the bandages though since they were still pretty tattered. She instead just kept her arm hidden under the sheets for now... surely the nurse would come in yelling at her again.

Haruuhi asked if she could even get one, since she is underage. Would she be legal, she asked. G honestly didnt give a fuck
"Of course you can get a tattoo! Why not? I mean I also got mine when I was younger!" G said
Once he did, Haruuhi agreed, she'd like that. G smiled and just put his hand around her and pulled her close to him, like in a hug. He made sure not to do anything sudden or hard. He had to make sure to be gentle since she was still healing and since her hand was real hurt
"Dont worry, everything will be fine" he said as to reassure her. And just gave her a moment of silence so the two could rest together
But then soon he remembered, he had to ask her and others about his opportunity
"Hey Haruu? Remember how you asked if you should quit UA? Well, I have a reverse question for you. Do you still want me to become a Pro Hero? Your UA Nurse friend even offered to give her reccommondation about me, I guess.I do have a shot about becoming a Pro. On one hand I want that because I think it'd be absurd and hilarious that I can go from a Villian to a Vigilante to a Hero. But also on the other hand, I dunno if I want that. I dont wanna work for the goverment or authority. Pro's are too soft and bound my paperwork and formalities and procedures... I am thinking of askin everyone just to see what they'll say. And then I'll make my choice" G said

"Alright... sure let's do that. Sorry to worry you, it's just been... I don't even know how to explain it..."
She said gently, unsure of how to explain the mental state she was in. She was sure that G understood how she was feeling anyways so she didn't need to worry about that, but she still somehow felt the need to justify her own actions...
That's when G pulled her into a gentle hug and she suddenly smiled brightly, leaning against him and holding him as she rested her head against him. She would just lay against him, smiling, feeling the strongest sense of love she'd ever felt in her life. G meant everything to her... the kindness he showed her in taking her in, and the continued support he showed her ever since they had become a family. If Haruuhi had grown up with G as her parent, she might never have known she was adopted.
The moment was blissful while it lasted, though cut short as G then brought up the decision about becoming a Pro Hero. It seemed like Miss Nimue was ready to vouch for him, and G seemed amused by the fact that he could go from Villain to Hero... but he had his doubts, and it looked like he was going to get some opinions on the matter before he jumped into it.
Haruuhi looked up at him, a light hmm escaping her lips as she thought about it, then shook her head from side to side.
"I know I said I wanted you to be a pro hero at first but I was scared then that you'd get caught and taken away from me. Honestly though? I mean... you're kind of a dummy."
Haruuhi said bluntly, no word of a lie on her face as she looked at G with all the innocence a child could muster.
"You're proud, rash, irresponsible sometimes and you have a serious knack for getting yourself into trouble. I honestly don't think you'd make for a very good Pro Hero. You make a damn perfect Vigilante though and an even better Dad. There's nothing I would change about the way you are now."
She added, smiling brightly as she felt she was being very deep and speaking from the heart, not thinking that she might insult him in any way with those words.

Well, he asked for it. He is a dummy, no use denying that.
"Hah!! You goofball!" G said as he grabbed Haruuhi and sat her on his lap
"Meh... I mean, no use denying it. Its true. I dont conform to authority and rules. Im the Boss"
He held her in his lap and hugged her like the previous she is
"Well, I guess thats 1 vote Vigilantism, 0 Heroism. I'll keep tabs and see what the people I like think and vote, then I'll decide. Until then, daddy has to help get ya healed so you can kick ass and get a tattoo" he said
Well, now it was just the waiting game, Haruuhi needed to heal and he'd be there to protect her and support her in the hospital until she fully recovered. Hopefully after this talk, she wouldnt mutilate herself and slow down her recovery. The doctors and nurses can be at ease.
G now hugged Haruu in his lap and just held her in a hug like that. She was, scared and hurt and nearly dead. Not to mention she was an orphan with no parents, and the ones she had were hell. He understood that like no other. He had to protect her forever.
