Long Road To Recovery [Nimue, Haruuhi, Hanako]

The cracks in her skin itched, which was a good thing because it meant it would be healing but that did not make it any better when you could not rub it because that would make the bandage red and she would have to hope her eyelashes would stop the blood again before dripping in her eye. It took a few seconds to be orientated where she was and it also took a few scary minutes to make sure she was alone in her brain, her own track of thoughts and only being Nimue. 

She was evoked by spirits, meaning that she could talk to three spirits that she had found in her journey while being a shaman back at home in the North of Cape Town. Actually just outside it but who complained about that. She heard Nkosi in her mind, very softly and far in the back that everything was alright now, she had not fainted, she had probably vomited and she had used her power too much, that one was a given. There was blood at that moment on her hands, and she had two cracks in her skin that had gone and bled a lot. There was a big cut in her arm on the left and one above her right eye. So now Nimue was dressed in the easiest fashion because obviously, no one came to bring clothes to her because Oz was working. She wore the black shirt and the black trousers that she had worn this morning, her red cape was quite dirty but she wore it as well because it was too cold to walk in a sleeveless shirt. Apart from that, there was a bandage around her head to put pressure on the wound and make sure it stopped from dripping in her eye and one around her arm. She was doing fantastic, she could only worry about Haruuhi. So when the doctors finally let go of her and she was fine enough to walk and talk and go home, she asked for Hajimari's room and went to find it. Which took a couple of minutes even if she had been in the hospital a lot, Tokyo Hospital was a lot different from the small one where she worked. 

When she could see the room, a few feet away from her she wondered what she should say. Would she just knock and ask how the girl was doing, probably her family was there too. Nimue had no idea how to not bother them. She did not want to bother them, she just wanted to make sure she was alright, for as far as she could be alright. She should absolutely not forget that. Finally, she simply walked to the door and knocked on it, waiting a couple of seconds before opening it, "Hai, eh, can I come in? I wondered how you were doing Hajimari-san." Which was an awkward pose for the Nurse, only looking around the door to see her dad, the man with the spirit animal and the girl in the bed. She had not heard anything they said before so she was making sure if she would be okay to come in.

She shook his hand, not noticing he almost made a mistake in his name if she had noticed she would only think it's because he was probably here all the time, must be tiring. She turned to look at him shortly again after he commented on her healing, "Sorry about that. I had no other way to approach you at that point. I did not want the others to know what I could do in that case." Being careful about showing her healing powers was one thing if Thunder or anyone else might have found out, who knew how many shots she had to take. She didn't think that out of egocentric reasons, just her way of thinking if she was a villain: she would take out the healer first. Only more suffering right? More death? 

She nodded affirmative, of course, she would not bother them too long. But that was the point something jumped up in her mind, another reason for her to be here and her eyes switched from mister Hajimari to Haruuhi, she would have to speak to him too. Her eyes had noticed how Haruuhi moved, but she wasn't entirely sure how to ask, the good thing was, she still was able to move. "If you see it like that Hajimari-san than you should see it that the universe saved you as well, by sending your father and others." A silver lining was all that counted and it this case, the universe had it in there to let her be saved and relatively okay. She could not help but comment on it still. "That's how I like to see it." To remove a bit of the negativity out of the way. She did make a comment on her smiling, even if she wanted more positivity in the world it was a perspective and not a way to force her way of thinking on others, Haruuhi, should by no meanings have to feel that she was forced to do what the world or society wanted her to do. "Don't worry dear, I understand." To her, it made perfect sense. She was oblivious to G next to her blushing, she took a step towards Haruuhi now she was moving and sitting upright. "I am glad you see it that way, but take your time. That's the most important part in the healing progress and also the most boring part." She would offer her help but at this point, there was nothing more she could do, maybe soothe the pain for as far as the drugs did not already. She could offer her services but they were not necessary. She did turn to Gabe, "Can I have a quick word with you, sir?" She nodded towards the door. She had to warn him, that was only fair. 

Fishy? Nimue shook the word out of her mind, even if she was the school nurse, it was now out of her hands and had nothing to do with her. Only if they would ask her help and she actually doubted they would do that. But that was okay. "It was good to see you, I do hope you have a speedy recovery." She said to Haruuhi before following Gabe out of the room, she gave a smile to Haruuhi but the moment she turned to look at her father, the smile disappeared. She had to be serious, it was serious business and she did not know exactly how to bring it to him. It felt like betraying the faction of pro-hero as well and she was just a starter one, her accent still clear in her voice. She wasn't native and she would obviously never become one. She wasn't fighting against her accent for she did not care, there were more important things to do. 

She looked left and right but the nurses of this hospital were just passing by quickly, moving from one room to the next, too busy to listen in to worried parents and informants, that was okay. "They might want to arrest you," Best to just immediately point out why she wanted to talk to him, least have him not worried about other topics that could be relevant to now.  "Based on your unofficial profile." She clearly tried to avoid the word vigilante but she did not know how missing the word in her vocabulary. She looked uncomfortable about it, "I mean I tried to talk about it, shushing the whole matter but well I don't really know what they think, the other eh, heroes." Adding the last word as softly yet understandably by Gabe. She held her upper arms with her opposite hands, crossing her arms in front of her chest, showing a remote and protective body language. Nimue did not know what to do but he deserved to know and to be ready, in her eyes, he did nothing wrong. 

Oops, it seemed that he wasn't entirely happy about the news, well she got that but wasn't it nice that she warned him about it. Now Nimue wasn't one to pout or be sad about it, her face remained natural but she wondered about the anger. "Ag, that's a very good idea. I still would say that this rescue mission could be seen without any idea of, well you know what I just said. It is stupid to repeat, I mean every parent would try to save their child, so I don't see the issue, unfortunately, no one is listening to my opinions." Which was fair, she did not see that as unfair, she wasn't a pro-hero for long albeit time went rather quick but apart from that it would be nicer to be nicer to the people in the world and this was her honest and real opinion. She nodded, the process indeed takes time but it was a good idea. She hoped Army of One would be able to do such a thing, she had no idea how it worked. Her own school had suggested her to offer her help when she finished the medical school, with her quirk she was accepted rather easily. Maybe the argumentation was a bit strange if his daughter wanted it, shouldn't he want it for more reasons than just that? Thing was that it wasn't up to her and it would be good to have a man like him, she had been rather impressed that time, a shame of the setting that it happened but she wouldn't mind seeing more of this man and his spirit. 

He called her ma'am which made her flustered, "Ah, no no. I should go, I don't mean to bother." She waved her hands and was glad that the blush would mostly be hidden by the colouring of her skin that was already red. She bowed shortly, the Japanese customs right and wished them both a pleasant day, albeit she did not say it to Haruuhi but she meant it to her as well and walked off, that would be the best thing to do. She felt embarrassed but she hoped it was of use, at least he was prepared now? Right?
