[attr="class","title"]Sports Festival
[attr="class","title2"]» Student and Teacher oriented event
Hello everyone and welcome to the registration page for the U.A sports festival!
We are going to have a few different events for you guys to participate in, so make sure you pay attention to which events you register to. All students that participate may register in only 1 combat event, however may freely participate in the non combat events listed below. Please see the list of events, then use the provided template to register for your events.
Remember that this is the first year that U.A is open, so this is the first time the sports festival will be televised! Pro Heroes from across Japan will be sitting in to see the future Heroes in action, Government employees will be strongly scrutinizing student progress, and we might even see Hero Offices begin to bud!
Note that every action you take during the festival, whether it be combat or non combat oriented will earn you a certain amount of points. You will never know how many points you have earned until the end of the event however. These points will help determine which of the schools has best performed during the events, and which student from each school will have earned the highest ranks among their peers. So don't go slacking off!
p.s: The fastest way to earn points is to be noticed by a panel of judges. That means, you best use the resources available to you to get noticed.
- Opening Ceremony: Includes class presidents introducing the school festival, as well as teachers saying a quick speech to encourage their students. This will be followed by the school band playing a short concert. Enjoy the first moments of the festivity as families, rival schools, professionals and stars arrive to take part in the fun!
- Club Demonstrations: Held within the school building proper, in each of the clubrooms, participating student clubs will have to prepare and host exciting day/night attractions for their fellow students, the wandering civilians and famous names will come and visit. Purely optional, though the club with the most traffic will be granted additional funding for future projects! Do your best to represent your club and your school!
- Science Fair: Have some new tech you want to show off to the world? This is your chance! The Fair will be held inside the U.A gymnasium to give everyone enough space to display their tech. Be warned! You’ll be competing with the greatest minds of UA and exhibiting students from rival schools! Winners will take home a trophy!!
Combat Events:
( Rewards: 3 EP )The main attraction of regular sports festivals has always been the athletic achievements of it’s students. However, now that the world had entered an era of Super Human feats this has changed the focus of Sports Festivals greatly. Various Hero Schools from different countries have been invited to U.A to show off the potential of the worlds future heroes.
This sports festival, instead of a test of athleticism has now become a display of Heroic Achievement. Student’s must select one of the following courses to participate in that will allow them to display their strengths to the fullest.
- Obstacle Course: Crafted from start to finish by some of Japan’s leading architectural and strategic experts, UA has become host to a huge, daunting obstacle course with uniquely difficult obstacles that block your path to victory! Mud! Walls! Water! MECHANICAL DRAGONS! Creativity goes hand in hand with skill and speed in this test of ability and endurance!
- Cavalry Battle: You will be paired up in teams of 2 and pit against one another. One student will sit on top of the other students shoulders and carry a certain amount of points. The aim of the game is to remove bands from parts of opposing player’s bodies and, if possible, tussle them to the ground for an immediate payload of points!
Specific rules will be shown when the battle starts.
- Battle Tournament: Face off against students of your own and rival schools in order to determine which hero school deserves the title of Number 1! The tournament will be formatted into brackets and will offer unique and challenging opponents to any who may apply. Prepare to face the strongest up and coming heroes that the world has to offer!
- Rescue Course: A rescue course has been set up with 4 various rescue scenarios. Teams made up of students of each school will be put to the test by being put in the middle of serious emergencies. You will have to earn points by correctly going through the best procedures of the rescue.
