Eli spoke how he was sure that Miku would appreciate G cheering, even if it was just from the couch and TV, unlike his own parents. Which made G think that they were alike. That they both have the same kind of parents "Oh, so you have deadbeat parents like me" G said it just matter of factly. It was clear he was resentful with his parents
Eli then noticed G looking at his sweet gangsta wristwatch. "Huh? Oh... dont worry, I'll walk with you until we reach the store, besides Im sure there's someone else making rounds. I think it'd be an embarassment to society if there wasnt a hero patrolling" G said
He knew heroes were on low numbers. He could practically count the amount of heroes on his fingers. That was a literal thing. Yellow Jacket, Blue Agate, Witch Doctor, Army of One, Serperior, Ebonnie, Henir's Chain, Red Horn, King Taurus and Darkshine. 10, thats 10 friggin heroes. Meanwhile Japan is a huge ass country, 61st to be exact. 61st largest country in the world, out of 194. 10 measly heroes was not gonna cut it. But the goverment was too hot headed, too stubborn and too stuck up to do anything about it. Villainy was booming, and they were busy trying to capture Vigilantes? Shameful.
G decided that he could escort Eli to the store, and the continue to work. Since he started escorting Eli, he might as well finish it

"Deadbeat parents...yea something like that. Haven't had any interaction with them since I was four other than a text recently that they might try to watch the sports festival. No I love you or anything. So deadbeat is a word for it I guess." It was easy to hear the anger in Eli's voice, he still didn't hate his parents but he despised their decisions. He figured he should let G know, "I don't hate my parents, their good people and everything. But I don't think they deserve the title. They made decisions that I despise. When I was four they shipped me to my uncle because I have a quirk and they didn't know how to handle it since they were both quirkless. My uncle had one so I was raised by him. Soon as I started UA though, he said he would let me have some space. Still gives me money regularly though so he's better than my parents were I guess. Plus he actually made sure I got to my destination." Eli finished explaining his past, it was rough but it made him who he is. He wouldn't trade it for the world.
G said he would finish walking him to the store and Eli smiled, "Alright I wont pester you to get to work." He chuckled. They were almost to the store anyways. Though when G said there was probably someone else making the rounds Eli could tell he didn't believe that. The only hero Eli had seen in action was Red Horn and some of his teachers a little bit. He knew a few other names but that was it. King Taurus was a recent Pro Hero, so he knew very little. Blue Agate was his homeroom teacher that made heads roll at the slightest mistake. Darkshine was the publics idol. Yellow Jacket was the support studies teacher. That was all the names he knew. Only 5 heroes that he knew existed. That wasn't enough in any situation. What happens when there's six villain attacks? The government doesn't condone vigilantes but half the time they were the ones cleaning up the mess. It pissed the orange haired kid off.

G listened to Eli's story. Yeah, he had bad parents, which of course were Quirkless. But at least his parents shipped him so someone compitent who has a Quirk. That wasnt that bad "Look on the bright side kiddo. You could've had it worse. My parents were quirkless as well, but unlike your parents, they were racist. And I didnt have the pleasure of being shipped to anyone. I.... nevermind" he changed his mind and didnt tell Eli. This wasnt about him. This was about Eli. G rubbed his forearms, the place where he had his tattoo's now. Once they had black and blue bruises. Now there are purple tattoo's as a reminder of that past.
The two walked on. And eventually, after some more chitter chatter, the two arrived at the store. "Ok! So... this is it, right?" G asked, he was not sure if Eli was all set to go solo or not. It would be rude to just drop him here and gtfo, right?
Either way, when Eli was set and done, G started walking away to patrol the streets of Tokyo, he waved to Eli as he was walking away. Trying to be all cool and stuff

G seemed like he was going to tell Eli a story, but then didn't. Did he change his mind? Eli noticed the vigilante rub his forearms, where some purple tattoos were. He wondered what the tattoos were for. Were they a reminder of something? Whatever G's reasoning, his past seemed to be a touchy subject, and Eli decided against further questioning, "Yea I know things could be a lot worse off, that's why I'm not usually mad when I talk about it or anything. It's in the past and nothing I do now is gonna change how I was raised. Hopefully my parents have had great lives though, even through all that they've done I miss then, it's kind of ironic I guess."
They continued the conversation for a bit, until they reached Eli's destination. G asked him if this was it and he answered, "Yup! This is where we go separate way. I'll see ya whenever that first lesson is alright teach? See ya!" Eli said as G walked back to the alleys, waving goodbye. He then proceeded into the grocery store, he had already been gone for a while, and he knew if he didn't get back to the dorms with groceries soon Darren would kill him!
