★ ‘Promise that I will stay out of reach - Far gone, ‘cause the shit still bothers me
The sound of an engine revving and the whipping of the wind were the only sounds Corvyx could hear as he drove through the city. Method of transportation? Motorcycle -- police issued. The colors and logo of the Tokyo Police Department covered the body of the motorcycle, with the name 'Arklight' emblazoned on the the side. Speeding through the city, Corvyx was steadily and progressively making his way towards the park; a call of a disturbance involving a group of suspicious men and a girl having drawn his attention. It had come through only a couple of minutes prior and considering how close he was to the scene, he opted to inform the department he was heading over and to send a squad car or two. Depending on the severity of the situation, it could potentially call for a few arrests, after all.
Swerving through traffic, there was a slight recklessness to the way Corvyx drove. He snaked his way between civilian vehicles, though he was careful to not cut anyone off completely. Even if there was a surface level recklessness, he was sure to not endanger anyone in his haste to arrive on the scene. Calculated recklessness, as Corvyx would describe it if asked by someone he could actually be bothered to give a legitimate response to. And very soon the park was within sight and he undoubtedly broke some rules with the way he casually drove his motorcycle across the grass and through a flowerbed. Squeezing the brakes, he swerved and brought the motorcycle to a screeching halt -- violet colored eyes staring off where only a few meters away he could see the source of the disturbance.
There was a girl surrounded by several men -- four or five, it looked like -- and his lips formed a thin line. Cutting the engine, Corvyx stepped off the motorcycle after kicking down the stand. The air around him began to spark and his one visible eye and the scar that went down it began to glow. Every step he took drew him progressively closer and he could hear voices, but discerning the words was still just a bit difficult. But from what he could understand, they were trying to force her to go off with them.
How cliche.
