APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Rimma has a modestly feminine build, with long legs for her height and a slender physique. Average in height and weight and neither toned or scrawny, she could be described as fairly plain looking aside from her bright red hair and expressive gray eyes. However, more often than not her build is obscured under heavy clothing.
She is always wearing a knitted hat and scarf, even in the hottest part of summer. In moderate weather she often wears a heavy overcoat as if it was winter. During winter she is almost always bundled up to a near comical level.
Her face has a round shape, with a dainty nose and thin lips. Her eyebrows are naturally thin and narrow, and arch sharply when angered or upset. However, she often come across as petulant or grumpy instead whenever she makes such expressions.

Personality:
Rimma is an honest and open young woman, who often speaks her mind and encourages others to do the same. While aware of social cues and often mindful of them, making the effort to go about expressing herself politely, she has a stubborn streak and often loses her composure when irritated or annoyed. Whenever this happens, she tends to huff and puff and dig her heels in and become stubbornly argumentative.
That said, she isn't the violent type and loathes people who escalate from simple arguing to physical assault. She despises those who hurt others for their own gain, regardless of the reasons they think they have for it. Her views on what is right and wrong can be somewhat simpleminded, though she can be convinced of some moral ambiguity if someone can power through her initial stubbornness about the topic.
She prefers to keep busy and greatly enjoys the company of others, even if they're simply in the room being quiet. While she isn't sporty in general, she is a fan of hiking and other such activities that involve lots of traveling. Although she has no issues focusing when she needs to, she hates sitting still for very long and is prone to fidgeting.
A peculiar pet peeve of hers is people who ask her if she can use her Quirk to make ice cream or other ice-based treats, to the point that it irks her if such a request or even a mention of ice cream is one of the first things they ever say.

HISTORY
Rimma was born the only daughter of one Savva Yemelin, a Quirkless man. Her mother did not survive childbirth, and as a result she was raised solely by her father. His work often forced him to travel abroad, and as a result Rimma spent very little of her childhood in Russia at all.
Although a busy man, Savva was a doting and at times overly protective father. When her Quirk manifested, the first sign of it was a worrying drop in body temperature that was alarming to her and her father alike. However, rather than a deathly illness like her father feared, it was a side effect of her newfound ability to create small flurries of snow with every breath.
Once the nature of her Quirk was discovered, Rimma took great joy in huffing and puffing out small clouds of snow. Her father, however, continued to fret and worry and was adamant in instilling the importance of not using her Quirk no matter how harmless it might seem. Although times had changed to be more accepting of those with Quirks, his fears were not unfounded and her obstinate behavior in her early years eventually ran her afoul of those who would do her harm.
Her father was thankfully able to come to her rescue, and from that point on she was instilled with a strong sense of hero worship for him. While the actual events weren't particularly heroic at all, through the lens of a young girl they seemed plenty heroic. What was important, however, was that she would go on to be much more receptive to his ideals as she got older.
A staunchly ethical and moral man himself, Savva passed similar beliefs on to his daughter. Traveling from place to place with him as his job demanded, Rimma began to notice that no matter what town, country, or continent she was in it seemed like she was always hearing about Quirks being used to commit various crimes. Professional Heroes weren't yet a thing, and Vigilantism through the way of thinking she had been given by her father was just as bad.
It was a frustrating thing for the both of them, and they would often engage each other in discussions and debates about the issue. When word of Yuuei being established and opened came around, Savva was completely unsurprised when Rimma showed interest in attending herself. Although at first he argued against it, concerned for his daughter's future safety, he eventually relented and managed to send her off to Japan to attempt to enroll.
Still a busy man and unable to come along with her, Rimma was for the first time in her entire life going to be living apart from her father. Strongly desiring to help do something about the criminal Quirk use that seemed to be plaguing the world, vigilantism included, she put aside any anxieties in that regard to focus on getting accepted into Yuuei.
