Finally, she found a mug but when Hanako arrived back at the break room on the first floor, she realized she could have taken hot cocoa from the sixth floor and immediately go outside, now the other security guy was here and she had to wait. She smiled friendly at Hirotaka, it was after all not his fault but she felt she was taking way too long to make it comfortable when she would get outside again. She did smile when she thought about her boyfriend though. And when she finally got the hot cocoa, she walked downstairs with Hirotaka who stayed at the reception desk with his coffee and she walked outside.
At the point where she wanted to apologize for her lateness, she almost dropped the mug because Yuuki stood awkwardly close to her man. She had no idea that minutes before Yuuki had shown him the magazine, with her own written article and asked if the guy in the picture was him. "I just wanted to know if Mizuki wasn't faking things. She pretends she could take every guy with ease but you are already in a relationship with her, you kissed her all those months ago." Before Yuuki could give an insulting word out of annoyance, Hanako coughed loudly. She had not heard Yuuki's words, she was too late to hear it but she noticed how her colleague looked at her surprised. "Missed me?" How daft could she be? Did she think Hana went on a reportage or something instead of having some fun with her man, she could not repeat those words enough in her mind. "Well, I could have you two fired you know," Yuuki answered suddenly, it was not even a question spoken aloud but Hanako laughed with a clear sarcastic tone in it. "You can't. For your information, I already spoke to the boss about it, so get your ass back to your office, write something useful or I don't know. And if you want to continue blackmailing, I suggest to leave that to the gossip column, you know the one whose head you want to find as well. Sort out your priorities sweetheart. Before you get a burnout."
With her free right hand, she pushed Yuuki aside only softly by the shoulder to give G the mug she was holding with her left. She completely ignored the girl now, "I hope it's still warm. The machine took ages." With that the other reporter was offended and with firm, heavy steps walked back indoors to leave the two alone.
