It was a miracle Goro was still able to stand, after the injuries he’d sustained from his mother’s punishment earlier that night. It was even more of a miracle that he could walk unaided, considering how much the holes in his wings had bled and how shaky every step he took was. His mind was still clouded by fear and pain, and he had no idea where his feet were carrying him, just that he had to go somewhere.
The pain had dulled his awareness of the world to the point that the buildings around him became naught but a blur in his vision, and the dirt covering his glasses certainly didn’t help. His legs had ached ever since he’d set off, so any additional aching from walking barely registered.
Eventually, the mud covering his vision got to be too much, and after he wiped the lenses on his glasses on the tatters of his suit jacket, he was finally able to make out where he was. Shibuya. He’d walked all the way to Shibuya, and he hadn’t even noticed. Slumped against the closest building, Goro puzzled over why he’d headed for Shibuya. His hotel wasn’t anywhere near Shibuya, and the last time he’d been around Shibuya was… Was…
The realization came to him as he gazed over at the building across the street. The last time he’d been near Shibuya had been Halloween night, when he’d met Yusaku Izumi. And here he was now, right across from the Naryuko Bed and Breakfast. Somehow, the address Izumi had given him had stuck in his subconscious, even when his mind had been overtaken by guilt and terror, and when everything else had failed it had carried him there.
As he stumbled through the entrance, it occurred to him that Izumi hadn’t given him any method of contact besides this. How was he to know if Goro booked a room here at all, let alone a specific one? Did he have some kind of access to the hotel’s database, perhaps? He ignored the concerned stare of the receptionist and slammed a hand down on the desk to steady himself before pulling out his wallet.
“I’d… I’d like to book room 617, please. For the night.” Despite his best efforts, Goro couldn’t quite keep his voice steady, and the agony was obvious in his voice. He didn’t have any of his own money left, not that it would’ve been enough to afford a room anyway, so he was forced to resort to Underground money.
After the worried receptionist handed him the room key and pointed him to the elevator, Goro slid his thankfully-intact tablet from his suit and typed out a brief message to Mother. After what had just happened, there was no way he was going without reporting in to her.
‘Hotel room at the Naryuko B&B was booked in as part of an effort to recruit a promising ally. A human mind transferred to a suit of power armour by his quirk.’
Goro’s legs were about ready to give out as he finally reached the room, and he about collapsed onto the bed inside when he finally got inside. Minutes passed and nothing in the room moved besides the rise and fall of Goro’s chest, before an employee dipped inside and left a first-aid kit for him. He didn’t have the energy to respond when they asked if he was okay.
They eventually left, and Goro slipped his ruined suit jacket off, simply dropping it to the floor. Touching the area around the punctures in his wings made him wince in pain, but he still managed to bandage both after cleaning them. The alcohol wipes had only intensified the pain for now, but if he were to let the wounds get infected it would be far worse.
His back was still covered in blood that had seeped through his jacket, but if Izumi was really going to come by Goro thought it a bad idea to shower for the moment.

"So...I'm a promising ally uh?" He heard a familiar voice ask in a "look at that" tone as a rather tall mechanical being walked inside the room. "You should have guessed I had access to the cameras around here, elevator camera included. Tho I guess in your condition I can excuse you revealing our relationship to someone."
Yusaku closed the door behind them and stared at Goro. Dear god he was beyond fucked. Just what kind of stuff he had got himself into? He wasn't clearly in the best condition. It took the robot twenty minutes to show up after Goro had entered the room.
"And in what exactly would I be recruited in?" He added, moving one of his claws up to straight up cut Goro's tattered shirt to expose the guy's back. The robot's eyes surveyed all the blood and the somewhat messy bandaging he had done. At least he still had the health kit there. "Remember rule number one. I want the truth. If you don't tell me the truth and I find out it just won't do. I wouldn't want to hack into your tablet.
Now. How about you tell me what happened to you? You're hardly in condition to stand, let alone fight...and you are certainly not wearing me with a bloody back. It would leave a trace and it would get us busted. You'll have to take a shower after I fix all this bandaging."
Yusaku was trying to keep himself on neutral ground, but Goro could see that the robot really did care for his wellbeing. Yusaku's chassis seemed different looking once he had settled down beside him and had begun carefully inspecting Goro's wings. The whole bat look had been further accentuated. More over, it looked less like a costume and actual battle armor. A long thick tail would prevent it from getting broken, while a fishook blade at the end of it would actually be extremely lethal if it struck with precision. Yusaku was taller, standing on two digit per foot. If Goro were to actually wear him that night, he'd be forced in a digitigrade stance. It could feel uncomfortable at first, but the added presence and the various improvements in the speed and power department were a good tradeoff for it. Clawed hands were still present, with three finger each. Finally, huge bat like ears poked out of Yusaku's head, flicking about. The whole form presented itself in anodized black and purple color with hints of white here and there. It looked like Yusaku had tried to match his own coloring to Goro's wings.
"Don't worry for the shirt, I'll get you a new one. You wouldn't be using it anyway. You don't really need clothes inside me, except a minimum of decency, so just a pair of boxers will do. Although I wouldn't mind getting you one of those full body suit specifically for me if we'll keep going out again."
Yusaku took a cotton puff and quenced it in germicide as he started to very lightly scrape the dried out blood from Goro's back. "And you should eat something too. My UI estimates you might have lost a good bit of blood. Not enough to need a transfusion thankfully. Thank the fact My software has some police first aid stuff in it. I'm no doctor and I might be just a tool for you to lash out, but I can suggest you find a way to armor up your wings. The membrane is extremely sensible. Any more damage and you might even not fly again. Upside: You get cool bad boy scars to show off I guess."
Yusaku seriously did his best to make sure Goro's back was clean of the blood before moving over to the wings and very gently check the bandages to see if something else would be needed. Goro wouldn't have mucch of a choice but let the mechabat finish his checkup. Well, technically he could try and refuse Yusaku's care, which could very well be the only care he got that night.
"Alright...You're fine for now. Do you need help to get to the shower? A quick wash with warm water will throw away some tiredness and just help you feel better. Oh, by the way. You didn't need to pay for the room. Didn't you see any noir movies? When people tell you to book a hotel room, it means that's a signal to meet up." He said almost childishly, to try and liven up the mood. "You can book this room anytime. When you give the key back you can take your money back too. This BnB is property of my cousin in law and he gave me this room when I'm off Yuuei and want to spend holidays in Shibuya. If anyone asks you just say you're my friend and you'll have no problems."

The door clicked open as Izumi’s voice echoed inside, but Goro was still too tired to so much as sit up. At the very least, he could hear that Izumi was alone. Unfortunately, the robot had somehow seen Goro’s texts, though with how brief he’d been Izumi still didn’t have enough information for it to be a threat. He didn’t offer much resistance when Izumi propped him up, rather just slumping back against him as his shirt fell from his shoulders.
“If I were to say I couldn’t tell you who I was speaking to, that would be the truth. All I can is that if I told you more than that, this-“ he weakly gestured to the cuts across his body, “-would happen again, but… worse. I have no intention of giving away any more information about you than that, anyway, I was merely covering my tracks with my, uh, employer.” Exhaustion robbed him of the emotional shield of stoicism that usually covered his voice, leaving him emotionally unguarded. It was incredibly uncomfortable.
The robot had upgraded himself since last they’d met, at least aesthetically speaking. If Goro wasn’t too tired to think, he’d assume Izumi was trying to impress him, what with how he was trying to match his wings. Considering the earlier events of the night, the claws made Goro rather uneasy, even if Izumi was clearly being careful to not hurt him at all.
The loss of his shirt didn’t bother Goro too much, since it was already so torn up that it would be cheaper to toss it out and replace it. The fur underneath had been standing on end for probably hours now, with the exception of the fur on his back which was matted and caked in blood. He just gave a small nod when Izumi told him to go shower, and fell silent as Izumi’s claws combed through his back fur, cleaning the blood out.
Eventually, the claws lifted from his wings, and Goro stretched them slightly, flinching as pain shot through them again. Still, they felt a little better than before, so that was a small relief. As Izumi explained why he was even here in the first place, Goro buried his head in his hands. Stupid. He was so fucking stupid, that he hadn’t even considered that Izumi had some kind of connection to the B&B. Why would he have asked Goro to come here if it was just some random hotel?
“I won’t have much need of another hotel room, besides to contact you again.” Goro pushed himself off the bed, and almost fell right over as he started toward the shower. “I-No, I don’t need you holding me up to get to the shower. I’m fine-“ he snapped his head back to glare at Izumi, only for the movement to send another wave of pain through his body, forcing him to his knees.
Gritting his teeth, he looked in the direction of the shower. “Okay, perhaps some help would be appreciated.”

Yusaku hummed in thought. Then, he gently lifted Goro's body up in his claws and carefully moved towards the bathroom. He was carrying the bat guy's weight effortlessly, still making sure he was being ok and that his claws weren't scratching him.
"Eh...so you're knee deep in this bad stuff uh? Opting out of this stuff doesn't seem an option for you, I just hope you aren't a member of the Mafia or something. To be honest you're not THAT bad of a person. Otherwise I wouldn't have asked you to do this with me." The robot told the bat, before settling him down in front of the shower.
"You might have had a really rough day today, I had it too. But now's our time to get back at people." Yusaku would have grinned. He patted his chest, teasing Goro. "Since you're here I guess there's some anger you wanna let out and you still want to wear me, so we'll do it. Plus once we're together you won't have to worry about your body taking any more damage. If we are lucky I got a hunch on a group of quirkless bigots that I would really love to visit."
Yusaku chuckled and exited the bathroom, closing the door behind him to leave Goro some privacy while he showered. "And if you follow my rules I'll make it worth it for ya. Anyway, I'll get you something to eat in the meantime. Take as much time as you need. We are in no rush."
With that done Yusaku quicly went for the phone inside the room and asked for the classic late night snack. Then, he would look around to see if Goro had left his tablet somewhere. He would just need two minutes to install a small miniscule backdoor just in case. If what Goro said was true, he needed a way to know when the guy was going to be in danger. He could swoop in and help him out faster and more efficiently than just get some bandages done. He wouldn't want his possible new friend to get killed.
His whole body was trembling with anticipation. He couldn't wait and see the result of their partnership. Goro was going to be the guy that finally forced him out of his own insecure shell. He was the guy that would allow yu to finally get revenge. He wouldn't stutter. He wouldn't look like an idiot anymore. And the bad guys were going to reap what they sow.

Goro refused to look Izumi in the ‘eye’ as he was carried over to the bathroom. It was humiliating beyond words, having to rely on a kid for basic things like this. Letting Izumi see him like this at all was bad enough. However, he also knew he didn’t have the strength left to actually walk himself to the bathroom, so he didn’t bother making a fuss.
“The Mafia? Of course not.” He sighed, leaning his head against the wall Izumi set him down next to. “And, if you want to think I’m not that bad, go ahead.” He let out a quiet and bitter laugh, before wincing again. Laughing hurt.
“Oh, you have someone in mind already?” Goro raised an eyebrow. “I’ll be interested to hear about them after my shower.” He weakly gestured for Izumi to leave, only standing when the door was shut. He quickly locked it, then slipped his tablet from his trousers before undressing. He’d hidden it there before Izumi arrived, since his jacket was torn to shreds and his shirt didn’t have the room, to keep the kid from peeking at it.
He wrapped the tablet in his trousers to keep the shower moisture off them and carefully set his glasses on the sink before jumping in the shower. The remaining blood on his fur washed off pretty quickly, and once it had drained away, he closed his eyes and just let the warm water wash over him.
He spent longer than he’d expected just in that position before his mind caught up with him and he finally finished showering, and dried himself off. Izumi was right, he did feel a lot better now. Considering what the robot had said earlier, Goro didn’t bother putting his trousers back on, instead putting his boxers on and carrying his trousers out in a pile.
Sitting back down onto the bed, he wiped the moisture from his glasses before slipping them back on and dumping his trousers at the foot of the bed, conveniently positioned to obscure the tablet case hidden underneath.
Now that he was in a better state of mind, the threat that Izumi posed him began to sink in. While the robot seemed to have accepted the excuse for his injuries at the moment, there was no guarantee that he would remain satisfied by that answer, and if he was capable of hacking into security cameras and hotel databases, he would certainly attempt the same on Goro’s tablet.
“By the way,” Goro began, staring down at what remained of his shirt on the floor, “Does your cousin-in-law have any clothing he could spare? And the capability to tailor it for my wings? I’d prefer it if I didn’t have to walk back to my hotel wearing you.”

Yusaku looked up from his position in front of a mirror to see a cleaned up Goro in way better shape too. "Oh, good. Seems like you've got some of your groove back. I got you some food as you can see. It's better to grab a bite before heading out. Try not to stuff yourself full though. I wouldn't want you to feel nauseated while we're outside."
The robot was messing with his back plating. He was obviously trying to find a way to tailor himself to Goro's wings. There simply wasn't going to be enough space for them to be kept inside his armor, so they would have to poke out their back, even though they had injuries. He could probably brace them a little at the base though. Once he was satisfied with his efforts, Yusaku turned over to Goro. "I'll have something for you no problem read when we had back here. As per who we'll be vising I'll tell you once we're outside."
THe robot quieted down for a moment, thinking about his own things. "Alright. Anyway, I kept you waiting long enough." He tapped his chest twice and his body slowly opened up, exposing his soft foam padding at Goro.
"Slide your legs inside my own one at the time and wait a few seconds. I need to adjust to your shape. If you sink a little it's normal, our waists need to be aligned. Then, for the hand claws, slide your arms inside and wiggle your thumbs into mine, then two fingers per each claw. Like wearing a glove. Once that is done, I'll close up on your chest, then neck then stuff your head into my helmet. You'll have to give me some time to shift to fit you, so you'll be in the dark while I power up my visor for you to see through my eyes. Side note, you'll be forced into a digitigrade stance, so it will feel weird at first equilibrium wise. I'll give ya ha hand for that."
Yusaku stood completely still, waiting for Goro to wiggle himself inside his body. "Once in, there is no going back. For both of us." He stated, mostly to reassure himself a little. "I'll be part of you, you'll be part of me. And for as long as this happens to last, I expect you to follow my rules. One misstep and I'm kicking you out:
Rule 1: This whole thing is secret, so if you really wanna have people remember us as something, come up with an alias of sort. Bat, Wyvern, Nightmare, I don't care. Our names must be hidden.
Rule 2: Absolutely no killing or life threatening wounds. We can snap legs, we can break noses but nothing beyond what a vigilante would do.
Rule 3: Innocents cannot be attacked. I call the shots.
Rule 4: I am in control of the situation at all times, this means our shared body as well. I can let you deal with stuff your way if you don't break these rules. The more we agree the more control I'll allow you over my powers and abilities.
If you agree with the above rules, come over here and wear me."

Goro’s senses all fell on the plate of buffalo wings sitting on the bedside cabinet, and he shot toward them. He hadn’t even realised how hungry he was until just then; everything else that happened had made it hard to notice, but now it was all he could think about. Without grace or any of the composure he usually had, he shoved three or four of the wings into his mouth at once and immediately regretted it as he had to spit one out. As Izumi warned him not to stuff himself, he put down the fifth wing he’d picked up and laid it down back, hoping the robot hadn’t noticed.
Once he’d swallowed down the last of the meat, he looked back over at Izumi and watched as his body opened up. The quiet buzz of excitement at the back of Goro’s mind slowly began to grow as Izumi explained himself until it threatened to swallow him entirely, and he had to remind himself to blink.
The bat robot seemed to expect Goro to get inside him at this point, but the sauce covering his hands needed to be dealt with first. Goro quickly excused himself back into the bathroom, and returned not a minute later sauceless before Izumi gave his rules.
He listened intently, nodding as if he was already agreeing to the terms, but internally he was already picking the rules apart, searching for loopholes. If Izumi was really intending to start in control the whole time, trying to beg for allowances under these rules wouldn’t help. He’d need to be more careful about it, try to play under the rules for long enough that him bending them wouldn’t register.
“Nightmare was your suggestion when we first met, wasn’t it? I’m fine with that. The rules you’ve laid out too, I’m fine with those as well.” Goro responded after a moment’s thought. He turned around in front of Izumi, tucking his wings as tightly into his back as he could before slipping one of his legs into the robot. It was an uncomfortably tight fit, and Goro narrowed his eyes as he adjusted to the feeling. It took him a few more moments to start on putting his other leg in, and even as he took his time it was still uncomfortable.
Next was the waist, and it only got worse from there. Goro wasn’t one for tight spaces, and the pressure around him was getting to be too much. If it wasn’t for the promise of vengeance on the quirkless that came with this discomfort, he’d have already given up and left. He sat in that position for a while, letting his waist sink into the protective padding, before he shifted backwards to press his back and wings further into Izumi.
Sliding his arms in wasn’t quite as uncomfortable as the legs, but perhaps that was just because he knew what to expect this time. Having to divide his fingers between only three claws was supremely awkward though, and it took flexing them quite a few times to start getting used to the concept.
“I’m ready now, Izumi.”

As expected, Goro wasn't used to the form Yusaku had chose for them, he'd get used to it soon enough. He would have to, cause the robot was dead set on visiting his quirkless friends. Still, that didn't mean Yusaku couldn't at least help the situation a little. Perhaps he was a little too tight, still a few seconds were all he needed to adjust his shape to Goro's body. He would still remain tight as usual, but not as much as before.
One after the other, the plates around Goro's waist closed up around him, then the chest plates pressed against the bat-guy's lithe build. Finally, Goro's neck was enclosed in Yusaku's protective layers. He didn't equip him with the helmet yet though, the robot would leave Goro to experiment with him. The guy was a fair bit taller than his usual, not counting all the other differences.
"All done. You know, your body is not half bad. Take it as a compliment." Yusaku's voice echoed from somewhere behind Goro, obviously a speaker. "As you can see, you're a bit taller and definitely stronger. Still, we weight alot, so we won't be as fast as you might be without me. As for the wings..."
Goro felt his own body move on its own, turning to the side, he showed their back plates. Two bulges were present as the robot's plates had given up space for the wings to rest inside. "I can keep your wings protected...kind of...as long as you keep them closed. If you feel the need to open them and move them around you can simply push a little on my back plating and I'll open it up for you. Although considering the conditions they're in I'd advise you to keep em shut."
another round of shifting and Yusaku was now a perfect match. He walked Goro to the window, making slow deliberate movements to make sure the Pilot inside him got used to both walking on a set of claws and a foreign presence guiding his movements. "I hope you're comfortable. Enjoy the ride!" Yusaku exclaimed as he jumped out of the window...of a six story building. In the meantime they were falling, the robot completed their form by wrapping around Goro's head and make all the necessary adjustments.
The hybrid smacked into the ground like it was nothing, caving it in due to the sheer weight. Goro's legs could take such falls no problem now that he basically had military grade armor on his person. The bat's vision turned night-vision green as he saw the world through Yusaku's face display. The AR hud was also a nice touch. It displayed the time, Yusaku's charge and bright yellow arrows on the floor to point him towards their target.
To top it all off, Goro was once again in full control of his motion about at the same time a tingly sensation wafted on him. Yusaku snickered, he didn't tell him about that little detail. He wanted to give him a little surprise for going through with his whims. He guess using his haptic receptors to allow Goro to feel the ground beneath their claws, feel the spiked tail swish behind them, as well as the long bat ears Yusaku had on their head would be well recieved. What armor could allow the pilot to feel the world around them as if they were not wearing any armor? Well, techically any armor of Yusaku's model could, but considering mass production projects were discontinued he could kinda claim he was the only roboarmor able to do that.
"I'm already enjoying it. So, how about we climb out of this crater and follow the arrows? I can tell you more about the thug gang we'll be visiting tonight as we proceed." Yusaku's voice chimed right in Goro's ears. Integrated headphones inside the helmet. "Oh, by the way, only you can hear me now. Right then, off we go."

The tight padding around Goro let up slightly, and he sighed in relief. It had started to feel like his limbs were being suffocated, as strange a sensation as that was, so he was thankful for the space. It did surprise him that the armour seemed to account for the pilot’s discomfort, though. Was there some kind of sensor setup that indicated it, perhaps?
The discomfort returned a little as the plates continued to close around him, but Goro didn’t express it. He’d said he was ready, after all, so there was no way he would show hesitation at this point. Even when the padding pushed against his neck in exactly the wrong way for just a moment, he didn’t even flinch.
It was bizarre, having Izumi’s voice surrounding him without a clear source for his echolocation to point him to, but Goro got used to it surprisingly quickly. What Izumi was saying, on the other hand, felt bizarre for longer. “You’re still a teenager. Are you sure you should be ‘complimenting’ a grown man like that?” He chuckled, partially just to shake off any lingering discomfort. “Anyway, I didn’t exactly expect you to be weightless. Obviously, we’d weigh more.”
His movements being controlled by someone else made him more than a little worried, even with Izumi’s previous and current reassurances. At the very least, it was a small movement to begin with, so he had a chance to become accustomed to it. “For tonight, perhaps, but I’d have no need nor interest in hiding my wings away if it wasn’t for my injuries. Wounds like this are…” The holes in his wings pulsed in pain, as he recalled the expression on Mother’s face when she made them. “I don’t make getting wounds like this a habit.”
He let Izumi walk him to the window, focusing more on adapting to walking on digitigrade feet that don’t quite belong to him than actually making any movements. If he tried to move right now, he’d surely throw both of them off balance. However, his heart skipped a beat as Izumi climbed over the windowsill and threw himself from it.
Goro was no stranger to jumping from great heights, but with Izumi’s added weight it was far more stressful than usual. Despite the excitement he’d felt earlier to pilot him, he couldn’t help but panic in the moment. What if Izumi wasn’t quite strong enough to handle a drop from such a height? He couldn’t even so much as try to slow their descent with his wings with them locked behind the plating. The helmet forming mid-drop didn’t make him feel much better.
The panic faded back into uncontrollable excitement as they hit the ground without a scratch. Back in control of their form, Goro took a moment to accustom himself to the motion of the claws that functionally replaced his hands, before looking over the HUD that had covered his eyes. Vision unclouded by his usual near-sightedness was to be appreciated, but the additional features were impressive. This certainly was military-grade, considering the detailed waypoint system it included.
It indeed took him a few more movements of his claws to realise that he was actually feeling the cool night breeze between them, then a few more seconds to notice the sensation of his tail moving lazily behind him. It didn’t come as too much of a surprise, considering how high-tech the armour was, and that Izumi seemed capable of feeling sensation on his chassis, but it was still something he’d need time to adjust to. The only problem he really faced was how narrowed his echolocation had become. He could still hear some of his surroundings, but it was a much smaller range than what he was used to.
“Haptic feedback systems, I presume? You’re certainly advanced.” He flexed his hand-claws one more time before setting off in the direction of the first arrow.

Yusaku had a kick in seeing Goro's hearbeat spike as soon as he jumped off. So the guy wasn't as stone cold as he tried to make him believe. "Well, its the truth, to be honest. Tho, would you expect me to get into any kind of relationship?" The bat robot held a chuckle back as he replied. It was kind of true, he wouldn't really be able to form the usual relationship humans have. Then, the robot was genuinely surprised to see Goro being knowledgable about some of the systems at play within his hardware.
"Fullbody haptic feedback, yes sir!" He confirmed. "It definitely makes it easier for you to get used to our shared body. I'm...surprised you know about it. Do you have any kind of robotics degree?" If Goro did, then he really hit the jackpot on that one. Still, for how much theoretical knowledge Goro had, he lacked experience.
"You know...you should relax more. You're doing a good job walking on claws, but you feel a bit...stiff. I think the best way to get a feel for things is to just stop thinking and just do things." Yusaku casually stated, observing Goro as he followed the waypoints. "We're a badass bat-wyvern thingy, we can have fun with it no?"
A swift swish of Yusaku's tail corrected Goro's posture and prevented them from toppling over. The robot's presence was always there despite Goro being able to move freely. From how it looked like, Yusaku would only intervene to correct Goro's wobbly walk or balance problem. For someone that demanded complete control, he sure left Goro a great degree of freedom.
"Oh right, right. Info on our targets." He remembered, squeezing himself just slightly tigher onto Goro, hopefully redistributing weight in just the right way for his new friend to be able to move around without problem. "Basically, they are a band of biker thugs. All quirkless. Five of em tried to mug me and a friend. Hell, one of them even got all gropey with her. We did beat em up but you know...I really want to snap all their legs in half."
This time, Goro could feel Yusaku tense up, ready to fight. He could feel his burning desire to inflict pain. Hell, it was almost close to killing intent. "You can expect them to have knives and firearms. Knives we don't care about. They can try and stab at Nightmare all they want, they ain't getting through fifteen millimeters of military grade ablative armor. Firearms we need to be more on guard. A few gunshots we can shrug, so long the don't hit our face. If they bust my face visor, I go blind and by proxy, you go blind as well. Higher caliber guns can punch through me if they fire enough. Avoid any rifle fire just to be sure. They are hold up in an old rund down house in a junkyard by the docks. We can expect them to have cameras, so we can deal with the thing in two ways. Option one, we sneak in and deal with them one by one. Option two, we go in loud and just break their legs."
Yusaku seemed pretty adamant on breaking legs that night.
"Your call on this one. Oh, one last thing...in case you speak anything out loud that you want them to hear...I hope you don't mind if I mask your voice."

Goro hesitated to answer Izumi’s questioning about his robotics knowledge. It wasn’t exactly something he’d learned through school alone; a good chunk of his knowledge came from the Underground’s expansive resources instead. “No, not a degree or anything. I simply have a lot of knowledge in this area. I suppose it’s a hobby.” Another flex of their claws, but the feet this time. “Though I’d say I know a good deal more than one with a degree may.” When Izumi told him to stop thinking about their shared form so much and just enjoy it, all Goro could do was sigh. He reflexively moved to adjust his glasses, forgetting the helmet over them until the middle claw had already tapped the visor. “I don’t particularly find ‘not thinking’ about something to be enjoyable.” With his wings locked away and the addition of a weighty tail, Goro’s whole centre of gravity had shifted. The digitigrade stance on its own perhaps wouldn’t have been such a struggle to work with on its own, but with everything else Goro was grateful for Izumi’s help in keeping their balance. “Disgusting, the lot of them. I’m surprised they were idiotic enough to assault you, though.” He felt Izumi tense up around him and paused midstep. This tension didn’t appear to be deliberate, considering every other shift of the interior prior had been for the sake of Goro’s comfort. This felt angrier, more hate-filled, as if merely thinking about these plebeians was setting the robot off. He couldn’t blame him. “I’ve dealt with guns before, I know how to disarm someone wielding one and I imagine a gang doesn’t have any proper training handling one, anyway. I would prefer stealth over a full assault, though. Much easier to deal with a target when you have the element of surprise.” They were almost to the docks now, and Goro was becoming used to his shifted weight, moving at a faster pace. “You’re capable of hacking security cameras, no? Is that merely an aspect of the armour or is that a function you added to yourself?” Even with the narrowed field of range of his echolocation, Goro could feel a security camera hanging above them, just around the corner. “Either way, there’s one just above us. Best to get rid of it, isn’t it?”

"God you really need to stop thinking about me as some sort of object. Hacking is knowledge, not a program you install in your brain. Definitely isn't what you think it is. I don't type random shit on a holokeyboard." Yusaku answered, lowering their body on all fours as they snuck inside the junkyard and hid behind one of the massive piles of metal and broken plastic. The robot remained slightly surprised Goro had managed to locate a camera directly above them and out of their field of view. He must have had some sort of quirk that enhanced his perception. Considering the guy was half bat, Yusaku would put a finger on echolocation.
The robot squeezed tight around Goro to eliminate any wiggle room. A skin tight fit would allow his pilot to move unrestrained. Goro would have to get used to the more sluggish response times due to their weight, but it wasn't going to be too bad. Yusaku waited for Goro to look up to see if there was some kind of port to jack himself into.
"Yeah, I can hack it, but not from here. I would need to touch it to interface with it. Though I do not see any kind of access port on that thing. If you can find some sort of repeater or control box around here we could actually wiggle inside their camera systems and use that to pick off targets one at the time. Oh, for the 'not thinking' thing. I more mean try to act in unison. The stronger the bond, the better we fight together, mind you. One mind, one body, their worst Nightmare."
With that said, Yusaku waited for Goro to go ahead with his stealth plan. The guy was there to handle the fighting after all. Yusaku was only providing the bat boy with a cool, powerful body to carry on his deal. If any band member approached their position alone, well...their next few minutes wouldn't be a pretty one.

The position Izumi forced the two of them into must’ve been his ridiculous idea of punishing Goro for objectifying him. “I know what hacking is and isn’t, for your information,” was all he muttered in response. Hesitation marred every movement they made, for Goro’s limbs were rejecting the very idea of acting as a quadruped. However, he was well aware that any protests he may have to it would be futile.
He winced as the robot squeezed around him again. God, could he not have any space to himself? At the very least, it helped him move, but it was uncomfortable all the same. He glanced upwards at the security camera, tracking its wires down to a small control box mounted on a wall nearby them. Still in the awful quadruped posture, Goro crept over to the box and slowly inserted one of his claws into the box’s lock.
“Do you know how to pick locks, or are you able to hack this without it being open?” Goro muttered. “Or, perhaps we could just pull the cover off entirely?”
He scowled under Izumi’s helmet. “I’ll try to keep that in mind.” He said, glancing over the wall for a moment to get a good idea of what lay outside his echolocation’s range.

Right on cue, Yusaku yanked the cover off effortlessly and jammed their three clawed hand inside. Goro could feel a tingly sensation along his arm as he was connected to a machine for the very first time in his life. It took Yusaku ten minutes of hacking, but then he was able to exploit a small vulnerability in the system to weasel inside the security network.
Image flashed in front of Goro's shielded eyes. Camera feeds. Camera feeds of the areas around the run down building they were in. He could see everything. Every guard, every patrol route... he had complete access. Yusaku retreated their shared hand from the access box and chuckled. "All done, I have masked our signature. To the cameras around here we are invisible. I guess I should thank them for keeping such an old and shitty cctv network going." The robot stated, curious to what Goro would do now. The bat boy could feel his partner wishing too move forward and single out their first victim for the night. It turned out that, being linked like that to the robot bat transferred his will onto his pilot as some sort of...bodily need. He could resist the urge to move or do things no problem, but seconding those motion would feel oodly refreshing and oddly satisfying for both of them.
"Alright then, let's go see what we can do..." He heard Yusaku say. "I'm curious to test what our shared form is actualy capable of, now that I'm augmenting you with my powers. Remember, No killing! But hey...if you break their legs..I wouldn't mind."
The last part of that sentence Goro could definitely hear Yusaku more devious and dark side emerging. Deep down the robot teen wanted Goro to show him that dark side. He wanted to be corrupted. He wanted to taste the forbidden fruit of villany, if only for just a bite. THe allure of Darkness, after all, is rather intriguing and addictive.

Izumi’s arm shot into the control box, and for the first time that night Goro found himself actually enjoying the physical sensations that came with their union without any caveats. As a child, he’d often wondered what it would be like to have a quirk that could connect directly to technology; to control machines with nothing but his mind. This wasn’t quite what he’d fantasied about, but it came close. There was still a physical barrier between himself and the system, but it no longer felt present.
Camera feeds flooded his vision, but Goro’s sharp mind had no trouble understanding the multiple perspectives. After all, he’d already lived his life ‘seeing’ the world around him from more than just the perspective offered by his eyes, so adapting to so many alternate views was just a natural progression. It certainly helped that even with his vision altered, his echolocation continued to give him a perfect, if small, image of the world around him unobscured.
The robot was going back to that attitude he’d had the night they’d met; Goro honestly thought it was a little much, as if the kid thought he needed to impress the big bad villain he was working with by showing that he could be dark and violent as well. It wasn’t irritating though, in fact he found it a little endearing. At least it was better than all those hero students and vigilantes who acted like they were above him.
He pushed his claws off the ground, hoping that Izumi would let them move back to a bipedal stance. “Yes, I know, you don’t want blood on your military-grade hands.” Goro was joking, but it certainly didn’t sound like one, since his tone was as cold and flat as ever.
Goro’s eyes raked over the security displays, quickly singling out the thug closest to them. The imbecile was wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night! Goro slowly crept around the wall, keeping his eyes on the camera displaying their target while relying on his quirk to keep him oriented to the world around him. The thug was on the other side of the wall, facing away from them and whistling some obnoxious tune.
“Disable camera 5, Izumi.” Goro whispered. A few more steps around the wall, treading as lightly as a prototype suit of power armour possibly could, before Goro rushed for the moron, aiming a clawed kick right for his tailbone.
