Aiden snorted at the situation unfolding on him. Alright then, he'd punch that guy a bit and ask him where his master was. By his experience as a Cop he knew they gou in front of them was following orders. No boss ever fights first hand. All criminals heads of any kind of gang or cartel thought too highly of themselves to do grunt work.
With that consideration in mind, Aiden used the commotion to slip away from the main group and find a way to circle his objective. It was clear there was more than enough force put in the frontal assault, so catching the enemy unprepared from a flank was actually the best call right there. The sand storm only helped. He couldn't really see them, but that was also true on the flip side. First things first though, he should probably try to avoid some hits. Thankfully, in the ensuing riots there was no shortage of junk to use as a shield for those pesky rocks.
The man yanked off a trashcan lid and used the round objects to shield himself from the storm. Once he was out of that trouble, he'd have to climb up to the building's roofs. Man, talk about a workout.

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | The dust started to settle and Yuri came out of nowhere, he pants virtually on fire. It was kind of ridiculous and humorous to Toma. He tried to stifle a chuckled and turned back to Bashira. The new vigilante had introduced himself and Toma had been too busy watching Yuri to even respond. He turned back over to Bashira and held out his gloved hand.
"My names Sunhawk. Nice to meet you." He looked over to see Kenshin run after the civilian group, probably escorting them to make sure they were safe. Kenshin was a good kid, trustworthy, strong, with a good head on his shoulders. "Red! I'm going to meet up with G! Stay in contact, don't get ambushed!" He held up his phone and gave it a shake to make sure the message was clear.
Toma turned back to Bashira and pointed down the alley that the gang had run out from. "I'm going to rendezvous with my partner. I'd say it would be a good idea to join us if you're comfortable that is. There is always strength in numbers." He hoped he didn't sketch Bashira out. Honestly, he wouldn't trust some stranger all kitted up like the road warrior if he were him.
Taking off into a run he bolted down into the alley. There was the stink of something rotting coming from further down, he assumed that was the monster they had been talking about. "G!" He called out, flipping uo his visor a little so that his voice wasn't muffled. "It's me Sun!"

"Red Edge, Red Horn... you guys think of all the cool names, and all you gotta do is put red in it. I should'a done that! I could be... uh... Red Arm or something," Bashira grumbled absent-mindedly. At any rate, his words set her at ease: anyone who used the phrase "heroes in a manner of speaking" was sure to be a vigilante, which meant she was probably in good, like-minded company. On the other hand, she was forced to admit he had a point about the family heading off via her directions, but she held up one hand palm-first in a stopping motion. In this case, it meant "stop your worrying." "I get why you're feelin' antsy, but don't worry; it's just a quick turn down that alley and there's some guys with quirks who can look after 'em. It's a safe place to be right now. Relatively..."
On that note, she heard the sounds of battle taking place somewhere, but right now, it still felt like the distance made it hard to tell who or where the fighting was taking place. "See, it occurs to me that the rats are about to start crawling back to where they came from, once they get a look at the rest of the rats and what we did to 'em. The ones that are still left prowlin' are gonna be the nutjobs who are behind this whole crapshow to begin with. The way we keep people safe right now is huntin' down those bastards and pounding their faces in. Figurin' out why this whole mess started to begin with!" Bashira hypothesized. Too often her business was chasing down small time crooks or no-name thugs; she was always looking for opportunities to do something with more meaning, i.e. taking it to the guys who were behind organizing all those crooks and thugs.
She turned back to Sunhawk, giving another sniff and an irritable grit of her teeth as she realized he also had a cool vigilante name thought up. "Yeah, you got it. No harm stickin' with you guys," she agreed. Sunhawk was worried about gaining her trust, but really, the fact that this bunch were willing to go along with her, a horned, red-skinned monster like something of a Halloween costume store, seemed the more unlikely realized blessing to her. Besides the whole city getting attacked part, she was having pretty good luck so far today. Well, except for one part. "How the heck do we nab one of these bastards, anyway? I made a huge ruckus fightin' just now and none of em came out of the woodwork for me. Should we try to get up on the rooftops and see if it's any easier from there?" she questioned. She could probably use her hands to scale a wall slowly if she needed to, but she wasn't sure if the others could manage it. "Hey, quirks, guys? What do yours do? I can kinda climb this wall, but can you guys follow me?" she asked, while tentatively digging her fingers into the nearest wall and testing her foot on one windowsill as a foothold.
At the very least, with the others watching her back, hopefully nothing would jump her while she had her back turned climbing.

-Bashira posits that any criminal who's still roaming around now is probably one of the ones behind the call to action. -Bashira agrees to stay with Kenshin and Yuri. -Bashira asks if the others have any way to follow her if she climbs up to survey the rooftops. -Bashira starts climbing a wall to get to the rooftops.

The mad strike upon her before the sandstorm had really pissed her off. It was a failed attempt and it had only benefited her in the end. The storm was kicking up with intensity, even to the point of shaking some of the abandoned cars in the vicinity! Her fury was begining to grow so intense that her control was even waning! She didn't care. As long as she could shake these damn heroes up, it was going to be worth it!
"Grrrr....piece of shit!" She roared with guttural fury.
They all were backing away, leaving the piercer alone with her as the rock armor fully enveloped her. She would be safe. She would win! Terra had not only separated their group, but she had even singled one of them out. A wide, wicked grin splayed on her face as she slowly moved toward Asura with confidence in knowing that his vision was blinded.
Hell, even if he could see her, her armor would protect her! And then she'd squash him like a bug beneath her boot! "Time to die, you son of a bitch. I-urk!"
One lance flew past her body uselessly, however one had hit it's mark. Somehow those weapons were...stronger than her defense? Richter's eyes widened, glancing down at the metallic object that had dug it's way into the rocks where her gut would be. The adrenaline and fury numbed the pain that would prove near fatal as she took hold of his lance and would pull at it in an attempt to pull the vigilante toward her and slam him with a head butt.
What she wouldn't realize is that the distraction would cause the storm to lose a fair amount of strength and even offer an opening from above!
-Is furious at Asura Piercer for his actions -Laughing at the heroes for abandoning him -Goes to kill him, but his blind attack succeeds and skewers her in the gut -Attempts to pull him in and headbutt him -Storm is weakened and an aerial attack is possible with the opening

Post by Nakamura Kou on May 8, 2019 12:16:19 GMT -4
His attack pierced through rock and struck flesh, even as Kou heard his target call out in her obnoxious voice. It was almost as satisfying to hear her baseless taunt interrupted as it was to know his gamble had paid off. "Oh, no, it really isn't. See, as easy as it would be, you're the only lead I've had all night." Kou spat back, mocking her earlier proclamation.
As he spoke, he pulled his topmost two lancers from the ground- He knew where this bitch was, and with the sandstorm weakening, he wouldn't need to anchor himself against it anymore. However, before he could press them against his target's throat as he intended, she would suddenly pull on the lance in her stomach. Caught off guard by this suicidal move , Kou's head rang with the impact of stone with his forehead. Dazed, the vigilante would be left open to a follow up- So long as none of his temporary allies followed up first.
Unfortunately for Richter, her attack would have an unintended consequence- As she struck towards his head, Kou had instinctively retracted his eight appendages for defense- Including the one which was currently buried in the assailant's body- Even deeper, as she had pulled it through herself to make her attack. The reflexive flex would bend the last segment of it the limb, creating a hook which would prevent her from escaping- Like a fish in a barrel, all that was left would be for the other three to make their moves.
- Feeling the contact and the interruption of her words, Kou knows he hit Richter, and that she has armor. - Kou attempts to use the other limbs he had been using to move against the sandstorm to threaten Richter, but is caught off guard by the headbutt and is momentarily dazed. - When Richter attacked, Kou's reflexive attempt to defend caused the piercer she was impaled with to flex, acting like a hook to prevent her from pulling away.

There was an odd sense of detachment that came from watching a fight from above. Even with bladed spines, and rocks flying, it still had the essence of a street fight. Underneath the Quirks were just people, full of anger and pride, trying to tear each other apart.
Is this all?
It wasn’t a pleasant thought to have right now. Serperior never thought himself once to be blinded by the glitz and glamor. He’d lived it, after all. But…
Is this heroism?
Blade in a stomach--desperate to end him with her final act?
It was so...so...petty.
Those thoughts were dangerous right now. Atop the lampost, Serperior unfolded his quarterstaff again, flipping upside down to mark his target, only his upper body hanging free right now. He took a deep breath, staring through the whirling storm at the vigilante and the rock-villainess.
Then he let go, and dropped.
Wind whistled through his ears, and he had to squint to keep the blinding dust from his eyes. His stomach flipped, adrenaline flooding through his body again, and for a second--he felt free. The perfect moment. The high before the crash. Vertigo.
It wasn’t about heroism. It was about the thrill.
If he hit his mark, he’d land on her back with his full, massive body-weight, slamming the staff down on her shoulders like a bar to pin her to the ground. If he missed….well, as long as some part of him hit her, it was going to hurt.
He wanted to get a grapple, though.
[[TL:DR: Serperior drops from the lamppost onto Terra, trying to slam his quarterstaff along her shoulderblades, and hold her down (or as down as the blade in her stomach lets her go.) He's going for a non-lethal pin.]]

With the storm starting to clear, Red Horn was getting a stronger idea of what the hell was going on in the chaos, looking to the rock lady and the insect man who were in the eye of the storm, and her whole body calming with a jolt of alarm as she realized the damage that had been done to the villain, fully impaled by one of the tendrils. From here Mia couldn't tell if the piercer had come out through the other side but to her it certainly seemed deep as the two of them seemed like neither was willing to pull apart. Her muscles didn't calm entirely, but wiht a moment to breathe as she'd defended against the storm Mia registered that she needed to get her head back on her shoulders, gritting her teeth with a low growl. Odds were someone could patch this up, but to impale someone like that...for the blonde Heroine it was still one too far.
Looking further up, she noticed a fellow hero, Serperior, was getting ready to drop an attack on the villain. The hell was he thinking!? She had a fucking...THING in her gut and he was about to shift her about further!? Sure she was no medical expert but that could only go wrong surely. With a grit of her teeth, Red Horn's leg muscles bulked up and with a hard kick off the floor she launched herself onto the scene.
Rather than the villain however, she went for her fellow hero.
An arm hooked out, she'd try to catch his torso and pull him around her as she landed behind the villain, just shooting him a glare without much explanation. She was never a hero who'd actively try to steal the thunder of another as much as htis act may make it look, but the idea of adding more pressure to someone already suffering from a dangerous wound didn't sit right with her. She had one arm around Serperior (if she managed to catch him) and the other shot out, grasping the head of the rock based villain from behind, and she squeezed, hard.
It likely created a heavy sense of pressure, and if it weren't for the adrenaline, probably a heavy dose of pain, but Mia would know how to regulate her strength well by this point. She held that sweet point just before bone might start to crack under the pressure of her grip, and growl through her teeth.
"How about we all admit this ain't gonna go well for ANYONE-" She shot a glare over the villain's shoulder to the vigilante. "If we take this any further...Bug boy. I really wouldn't advise pulling out that thing. Soooo...how about you little miss Terra. Show us some good faith and turn off the storm..." She was playing a risky bluff here. As a hero, she couldn't do much more to her head without risking some real damage, but she hoped her size and the pressure she was giving would be enough to show them the risk of their situation.}
TLDR
Mia leapt onto the scene but tried to grab serperior before he hit the villain Grasped the villain's head from behind, enough pressure that any more could be dangerous Advised the villain to turn down their powers so things can calm down
