His heart was racing like the galloping of chariot pulling war horses. He couldn’t see anything but the pinhole of light in front of him as he darted through the darkness of the alleyway. What went wrong? That was the first thing on his mind. When he first came to Japan he didn’t expect himself to become his uncle’s lackey. He could hear the steps of the men behind him, all three dressed like common hoodlums, jackets, ties, scars and bandages. They were out to rough Taylor up over Jiro’s debt and if they got their hands on him it wouldn’t be pretty. “You have the wrong guy!” he called back to them, “I don’t know anything about concert tickets!” there was no response besides a scoff. It seemed the scalpers thought him to be lying. They knew Jiro, and he always paid upfront, though this time the check bounced and the only payment they received was a kid with a note. They weren’t gonna have it. Taylor would soon find himself at a dead end, there was a chain link fence too high for him to climb in time to get away from them. His fingers caught the metal fencing as dread began to fill him. It would have been great to remember his quirk right about now. With a sigh, he turned around and cleared his throat, “Well, I suppose you guys are dead set on money I don’t have.”
There was a lone answer, “Just pay up.”
He sucked his teeth and laughed, “I don’t have anything to pay I’m afraid.” he raised his fist, this was going to end badly for him no matter how tough he was. If he was going to get beaten he could at least go down swinging. A beat. The silence between him and the scalpers. One of them stepped forward, bat in hand. “You got one last chance kid-” he paused, Taylor already charged him and caught his jaw with a hard left jab. The teen gave everything he could into fighting the older male, he punched, scratched, threw knees, and gave his all. Sadly, his all wasn’t good enough and eventually the other two men would get involved, taking him by his arms and pinning him into the chain link fence. The leader had been dazed a moment, scratch marks, fresh bruises and a weak flow of crimson from his nose made it seem he had been mauled by an animal and just the thought of that put an idea in his mind, “Alright kid, you wanna act like an animal? I’ll treat you like one!” he sneered making a walk towards the trapped student. Taylor tried to budge and pull himself free, kicked and tried to fight but without his quirk, he couldn’t do anything but waste what energy he had left. The aluminum bat was raised high above, "Any last words?" "your mum is hot."

The sounds of yelling caught Christophers ears as he made his nightly patrols. He made his way toward the noises, but soon found himself rushing forward, regardless of the danger to himself. His practice in boxing allowed him a quick movement, leading himself to block the blow from the bat as it smashed against his forearms. Wood went flying, as did splatters of the heroes blood from the skin on his arms breaking open. The hoodlums backed up a bit as the front half of the bat went flying back towards them, landing on the ground with a wooden thud.
Christopher stood there, looking at them a fire burning in his eyes. Regardless of the reason this young man did not deserve the beating they were going to give him. He stood there as the man with the handle of the bat backed away. But he didn’t get far, as christophers fist slammed into his face with the power of a full on attack. The man was out cold before he even had a chance to make a noise. As the others drew their weapons to attack him. He shot them a death glare. They could feel the intent coming off of this man, if they attacked him there was a very good chance they would end up in prison.
The hoodlums ran away, leaving their leader there to suffer the consequences of his deed. Christopher removed a pair of handcuffs and zipties, making sure the mans arms and legs were locked and secured before setting him to the side against a wall. He turned back to the young man and reached out to him. “Are you okay? Do you require medical attention?” his accent was german and rather thick as well. He spoke in English.

Woe was he. He needed help, all he could see was the wood of the bat looming over him, the shadow cast over his bright young eyes as it was ready to destroy his handsome facial features and effectively end any hope he had at a modeling career. Without his good looks there was no way he could become Japan’s top model. Tightening his features he nodded to himself as he accepted his fate, he wasn’t going to get to be handsome forever, he wouldn’t get to use his sly good looks and winning charm to impress any ladies, this was it now. He was done for. Waiting to be put down with the bat he waited... And waited... And waited. And just as he was certain he was about to get his, the cracking of wood made him open his eyes. Shards of wood were scattered about, he gasped and a piece flew into his mouth making him gag for a bit before spitting it out. As he looked up as his assailants they were all taken out by a large man who seemed to have a thick accent. once all of the men were dealt with Taylor stood in awe of his savior, “Wow... Did you just shatter that bat? With a fist?” He dusted his hands, “Oh no I’m fine, swallowed some wood but I’ll live. Thank you so much Mr...” he tried to put a name to the man’s face despite having never met him, “Mustache...Io?” it seemed like the sort of name a man like this would have.
