If Mia said so, then that could only be true. It was a sad truth though. Anri did really enjoy what they did yesterday. But considering she was most likely going to start living with the oni hero, she only had to respect her wishes, and not becoming a prostitute was one of them, for her sake.
"Aww... I thought it could be fun." The girl mumbles, somewhat heartbroken, visible by her tone, as a pout also creeps up across her features. In the end though, she knew she had to focus on what was most important. And what was most important was on how to go through the process of ultimately moving into Mia's residence. At this point, if her hands were released, she'd pick the cup of chocolate milk back up, having cooled down a little, yet luckily already almost finished.
A last long sip was downed, gulped, before she places the cup back atop the nearest table, huffing out in blissful relief. "That was nice..." She did so at the same she listened to the pro-hero's following words. "Documents? What's that like?" The late teen inquired. Of course she doesn't have anything like that. Admittedly, all she has in her possession right now is her dress and her dress only. It's not like she needs to carry any food or any other goods when she can just take them from any villain hideout.
Towards being complimented, she couldn't help but smile, whilst at the same time attentive to what was being told. "Part time work at a cafe? What's that like?" She repeats. There was clearly still much more Anri had to learn about the world. She does know what work is, and part time she can simply go with common sense, but she has never had any experiences with cafes to know what's actually done there.

"Er...really depends there. There's...a lot of jobs that could have you doing what we did, and trust me when I say a lot of them are probably more trouble then there worth." The odd prozzy here or there probably had a nice life, doing it on their terms, and maybe even dealing with it like it was a fun line of work...those were the rare few, and Mia wouldn't put it past the ghost fiend to rip the unmentionables off of a pimp who gave her one too many back hands...sure,maybe things were different in Japan, but Mia didn't think it'd be THAT different.
She would have said more but it was really just time to move on from that topic, the red horned blonde letting out a slow breath as she just mentally pushed through that concept and rolling her shoulders back as if to physically shrug it off. The issue of documents was more pressing, and while Mia had some people to sort out a lot of that crap for her. Maybe she could grab an expert or two who helped heroes move into Japan to help her understand how to help Anri. "Okay so basically, girl your age, needs...stuff. Aaaa bank account? Do they have social security numbers in japan? Plus you might need an ID or something like that...ah don't worry. You're gonna be living here for a while so it gives us plenty of time." She gently pat the girl''s shoulder and stood up from the couch, thinking for a moment as she leaned her rear against an opposing wall.
"The cafe work could be good for you. Nice starting place...not easy, but good to start. In at the deep end working in the service industry. Makes you appreciate any other job you end up getting." She offered a light smirk before tipping her head back. Between having fun with Anri and the stakeout she'd had the night before Anri showed up, she hadn't actually gotten much good sleep and it was just barely starting to catch up with her. "We can address all that when we come to it though..." She gestured for Anri to get up. "Come on, why don't we head out to wherever you lay your hat? I mean, I bet even you own more than just the one dress. You got any keepsakes laying in some alley we gotta pick up?"

Well now that was a bit saddening indeed. Perhaps she had gotten the wrong idea of what they had done yesterday. Maybe it isn't as good as it felt when it involves many other people. But still saddens her. After all, it wouldn't be a stretch to say Anri got clearly attached to the act. So much that it might be even considered dangerous at this point.
Following that, she observed with a furrowed and almost skeptical gaze as the pro-hero went on to speak about much more complex matters. At least complicated to her, yet it wasn't much of a surprise they were that hard for the ghostly princess to understand. She didn't have exactly the best education, and whatever she had throughout her good brief childhood were probably already forgotten and abandoned. Whatever morals she has now are those she mostly developed on her own.
And those who got stuck to her from her past.
The late teen just hums and grumbles to herself, tilting her head to the side and doing her best to get an understanding of whatever words Mia came up with. Bank account? ID? 'What the heck is all that...' She thought to herself in not so surprising oblivion. A smile and a nod are ultimately returned as she was pat on her shoulder, her crimson gaze following the oni's next movements as she stood up and leaned against a wall. Whilst she still doesn't have much of a proper idea of what people do in a cafe, or how a job even works there, she is still quite excited considering Mia did say it was most likely the best work as a start for someone like her.
In the end, Anri also ends up standing, especially after the gesture for her to follow along was given. "Lay my hat? What do you mean? I really do only have this one dress though... The rest I just take from those villains, their hideouts as well, making them my home. But I can show you the last of their places I stood out at!" She suggested, skipping momentarily towards the hero, a sharp and pointy grin protruding across her features.

Well at leas the idea of being a sex worker was dropped. I mean, power to Anri if she wanted to be that in the future, Mia had no qualms with the profession so long as it was handled professionally, like how it was a legal and regulated industry in Australia, but still she just couldn’t associated with someone in that industry at least for now. Being a public hero meant you had to choose your friends a little more carefully sadly, even if Mia still had some shadier contact with Vigilantes from her past as one herself, and the trust she gave those still in that line of work.
“Lay your hat er…it means where you rest, where you call home basically, but for someone like you I guess that might more just mean where you last stayed.” Seeing Anri bound over to her with such odd enthusiasm, Mia was curious why she was so happy but…ah what the hell. “Ah I’m sure whatever villain you hijacked the place of won’t mind a few missing shirts. Will help me save on shopping for clothes for you. Can’t exactly wear that raggedy old dress to every interview you have.” Pushing up from her couch, she grabbed a few loose items of clothing from around her apartment, starting to get dressed, hopping for a second a she slipped her boots on. “You remember the way there?”
