❛❛ Princess Spooky ❜❜ Anri Kuroki (黒木杏里 Kuroki Anri) 17 || Pansexual || Female || Vigilante |
PERSONALITY POSITIVE ✔ Humorous ✔ Meticulous ✔ Playful ✔ Venturesome ✔ Witty NEGATIVE ✖ Crafty ✖ Dissolute ✖ Meddlesome ✖ Presumptuous ✖ Zany LIKES ✔ Spooking others ✔ Squishy things ✔ Ice cream ✔ Darkness ✔ Snow DISLIKES ✖ Sunlight ✖ Hot weather ✖ Anything spicy ✖ Fire ✖ Getting dirty PERSONALITY Ironically so, if you had to describe Anri's personality, you could say that it's similar to that of an actual ghost, more so of those you normally see in pop culture, like in video games or comic books. She loves to have fun, and does it in a way that is generally humorous. This can mostly happen in the form of pranks or any other similarly spooky shenanigans. Whilst not entirely selfish, she does this solely to make herself laugh and to watch others quiver in fear and desperation, even if just for playful reasons. In a way, the young Kuroki also showcases to be quite the brave and courageous late teenager. Considering she enjoys basking in the dark and spooking others in the process, she can't be afraid if the same is done to her, right? Sometimes that might not be the case, but for her, it surely is. This is also noticed whenever a risk is prompted, no matter how severe. Anri is never afraid of leaping at such kinds of challenge, proof of it being how she's fearless in facing and confronting any villain she finds in the streets of Tokyo. to spook the heck out of them. She's a very observant and meticulous individual. This doesn't only apply in situations like when she's picking a target to terrify and frighten, but even also when she's having a discussion with someone, especially if that kind of discussion involves a funny and entertaining subject. She is more often than not attentive to what the others say and do, just so she can step in and come up with her own jolly and jokey remarks. Of course, due to the nature of her main hobby, and specifically when targetting villains, Anri learned to be crafty in her methods. In mixing up the sound of her voice and motions, her invisibility and her levitation to fool the ones she's trying to spook, to make sure they never find out exactly where she is. So far, such methods have only failed against one specific individual; a pro-hero who goes by 'Red Horn'. Now, being somewhat uneducated due to her past, the pale girl has grown to become quite the dissolute and presumptuous teenager, precisely when it comes to sexual matters. While still sneaky about it, she doesn't care much about when, where and with who it involves. She even has a habit of spying on others changing, taking showers or even during intercourse. Anri's favorite sweet are ice creams and she loves to play in the snow whenever there's any present. She hates the sunlight and the heat that comes with it, as well as spicy food. She has a phobia for fire, also known as pyrophobia, which derives from her past. Sometimes she can be seen having flashbacks from the moment which triggered such a fear, grasping at her head and grunting to herself. And if there's ever any fire in threatening range, the young Kuroki is immensely prone to freaking out. | APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 174cm WEIGHT: 69kg HAIR/STYLE: Silver (somewhat of a hime cut, parted in the middle of each side of her bangs, and long, cascading down to her lower back) SKIN/SCARS: Immensely pale and as soft as a marshmallow, akin to that of a stereotypical princess EYES: Crimson, glowing pink if under any sort of bright light Anri tidies herself up rather neatly. She worries very much about her own appearance, and makes sure that she looks at her best every single day, hour and minute, no matter the situation. This habit is so frequent that she's sometimes nicknamed a 'princess', something the young Kuroki eventually put to use when coming up with her vigilante alias. Even at her age, she possesses quite the matured frame. Plump, curvy and generally voluptuous, many women would wish to have a body like hers. She's very proud of it, yet rarely ever showcases that pride or brags about her gifted looks. In terms of what she wears, everything that appears formal or royalty-like are her favorite themes. Specifically long, like pouf dresses or ball gowns. It shouldn't be a surprise if you see her sporting such even on informal occasions, especially whenever she goes out to spook some people. There are also some additional traits that she possesses due to the nature of her quirk. Her extremely pale skin, her entire set of sharp, pointy teeth, her unnaturally lengthy tongue and her elongated, elf-like ears. |

HISTORY Anri's story was never expected to be a sad and gloomy one. Born and bred properly, as one would expect of most Japanese offsprings, especially at a time like the one when she came to life, even at her youngest years, the young Kuroki was taught and influenced by her parents to gradually become a smart and independent individual. For them, she didn't need to be strong. They wanted her to chase regular education over heroic education, since it was still popular back in the day. They wanted her to live a peaceful life, free of danger. They didn't want to have to be concerned about her in the future, of ever being beaten badly by a villain whenever she eventually started her pro-hero career. In the end, chasing such a life had never been in Anri's best interests. She hoped to do just as her parents had taught her. To chase something that could challenge her smarts and not her strength. But little could she expect that things wouldn't go as well as she thought they would. Living in the outskirts of Tokyo, near forests and alike, the probability of being caught in the crossfire of anything naturally disastrous was much higher than in cities. After an accident caused by drunk teenagers in the middle of the forest nearest to Anri's residence, the entire greenery and anything else surrounding it had rapidly caught fire, a fire which grew at alarming speeds, those way too fast for anyone within the vicinity to react properly, or even expect coming. As far as the young Kuroki remembers from that night, everything happened too fast. She could only remember her parents scooping her out of bed and someone else completely unfamiliar carrying her far away from the fire. The next day, she was told something that would impact her life forever. Whilst her parents worked to protect their precious home, they ended up defeated by the ferocious and untamed power of the flames, only minutes before the closest firefighting team arrived. She was only 12 years old. She was a quiet and timid girl, a young and pure innocent teenager, someone who'd never hurt a fly, who always prayed that her existence would never become a nuiscane to anyone, from family to friends, to classmates, to complete strangers. And as several years went by since she had lost her parents, Anri changed. She didn't turn quieter, she didn't turn darker. Instead, the girl became a bundle of joy. An undisciplined and uncontrollable bundle of joy. Akin to the fire which had brought an end to her parents' lives. With that rebellious nature to her, the pale teenager managed an escape from the orphanage she was sent to by her grandparents one year after the changes had been fully assumed. For long, Anri ran amok across the streets of Tokyo, using her gifted quirk to spook whoever she crossed paths with in a variety of different ominous and mysterious manners. From civilians to thugs, anyone which she thought was vulnerable enough wouldn't escape without at least a jump scare. She started to enjoy it so much that she eventually started targetting villains specifically, even going as far as taking away some of their possessions, those they earned from their evil deeds. After learning that what she was doing was akin to that of a vigilante, she even gave herself her own nickname; Princess Spooky. But all of that success would have to come to an end eventually, like all good things do. During one night, thinking that a lone individual in the middle of an alleyway was a villain due to their demon-like appearance, the girl would take the chance to sneak up behind and boo the heck out of them. Much to her shock, the woman who slowly turned around didn't even flinch once, as even Anri's own invisibility slowly dissipated and she was caught right in her act. Pulled away to an even more secluded zone. Frozen, she was still in shock that her spooky shenanigans had failed for the first time. Yet, the young Kuroki slowly became intrigued with the other female's story, as she was told about the oni's past victims and how she shouldn't scare anyone who doesn't deserve it. In the end, an offer was extended. An offer for help, not only generally speaking, but also to turn into the pro-hero life, something that in the past had never been in the pale princess' best interests. They both parted ways at that. And to the current day, Anri is still deciding. It's tempting, that it is. Though, she desires to find out more. Such is why... ... A little visit to the oni woman is inevitable, it seems. |
