Despite the many things that have gone wrong for Alaster recently, he was feeling very happy. For every blunder and mistake, there was more than enough success to make up for them. His books were selling better, almost to the point where giving up villainy to pursue a legitimate career no longer seemed impossible. That, as well as the pay from the recently accomplished jobs meant that Alaster now had more than enough money to begin his plan. The plan that should have been put to motion a very long time ago.
He was finally going to move in with his beloved girlfriend.
Alaster had found the perfect house for the two of them to move into together. A nice medium size house on the outskirts of Tokyo. It was far enough from the city to escape the loud sounds of the city, yet close enough for Alaster to never be too far from the gang he worked with. It was the perfect spot for the two lovebirds. Nice, quiet, and private. Just the two of them.
Speaking of the gang, Alaster's relationship with them were at an all time low. Eyes has been getting more and more distant with him and less willing to give him jobs as time went on. After the drunken fiasco of that night at Ramos's Bar and Grill, and especially the morning that came after, most of the gang members stopped taking Alaster seriously. Thanks to a certain lamprey-tongued bitch, Alaster had become the laughingstock of the gang. Thus, it greatly pleased Alaster to know that pretty soon, he wouldn't need them anymore.
Still, he did need them for one final task. Moving his stuff from his apartment to the moving truck. Unfortunately, he could not move everything alone, and there was no way he was going to have his beloved Meiko do any of the work. She was a queen, or at the very least a princess, but definitely not a slave. In addition, he could not risk hiring professional movers. Not only was hiring them more expensive than paying the idiot gang members, but Alaster had some things on him that would raise questions.
"Watch where you move the couch, Moose! I swear, you do anything to ruin it, and I'll gouge your bloody eyes out!" Alaster sighed as a man with a moose's head (hence his alias) tried to carry his couch out the door and bumped it into the wall. At the same time, a shirtless man with huge muscles was not being careful enough with Alaster's bookshelf. "Do you have any idea how much that shelf cost me, Pex? You break it, I break you. Understand?"
Pex laughed as he waited for Moose to finish carrying the couch out the door. "Aye, stop gettin' yer panties in a twist, Crowley! You're lucky we even agreed to move yer stupid crap! Now stop yer bitchin', Drunky!"
Alaster took deep breaths to calm down and kept reminding himself that dead men could not carry his things out. Eventually, everything was put inside the moving truck, and Alaster paid the gang members for helping him (though he did lower their pay substantially for every time they mocked or ridiculed him). Fortunately for Alaster, Wheels was the only gang member he would have to deal with until the truck arrived at the new place. Despite being loud and obnoxious, Wheels was at least one of the very few people from the gang who still treated Alaster with some semblance of respect. If anyone from the gang was getting spared if Alaster one day decided to kill everyone in the organization, it would be Wheels.
"Ignore those morons, Crowley. They're all just jealous that you're far more talented, and that you actually have a girlfriend. You're too good for these idiots. So what if you got drunk and had to run around the city naked because you lost a drinking game? You're still a good guy in my opinion. Far better than any of those worms."
Alaster groaned. He did not need more bloody reminders of that damn night. Still, he did appreciate Wheels's words. He and the bartender Saori were one of the few people he worked with that weren't a waste of a human life. "Thank you, Wheels."
After a relatively long drive, the truck finally stopped at the new house. As Alaster and Wheels got out of the truck, they opened up the back. It was time to take everything out and start putting it inside. Alaster hoped that Meiko would arrive in a cab by the time he and Wheels were finished moving everything inside. Sadly, she could not come in the truck with them. It was a two-seater, and there was no way Alaster would do something reckless and stupid, like have Meiko wait inside the moving truck with the other things. So she would have to come in by cab.
As Alaster and Wheels carefully carried the couch out of the truck, Alaster looked out towards the road. His love should hopefully be on her way here soon.

Meiko should've known better then to try and play Hero. Stupid Semper Fi. Stupid stupid stupid. By the time Meiko came back home she was. Dead. Tired. She just crashed on the bed and laid there hor hours. Later, she spent days and weeks home at her apartment. She wasnt active anywhere, as a Villain, a Civillian or a person. She stayed at home and even ordered food as she refused to step out for a while. When it came to dates, she would just invite her boyfriend to come over.
But now, she heard wonderful news. The two were finally moving in together. After hearing the news and ending the phonecall, she sighed and figured enough time passed since that traumatic event. Meiko took a good long shower and dressed up and took some stuff with her. Nothing much that couldnt fit in 1 bag. She walked out and took a good breath of fresh air, before going on the streets to get a taxi. It took 5 minutes for the taxi arrive. She got in and drove to her new dream home.
For Meiko, time passed in an instant. Being out finally, after what it seems like a month.(Yes, she stayed home for a month) A car ride was an instant. She soon arrived at her destination. Soon, she would see her beloved

So much lifting, carrying, positioning, and carefully setting down. In truth, it was exhausting. So much furniture, boxes, things to unpack from the truck. Still, this was nothing to Alaster. All this manual labor, the hours spent ignoring the ridicules from those idiots, all of it was worth it to Alaster. There was nothing that he would not do for Meiko. He would go through hell and back several times for her. Speaking of Meiko, she was going to be here soon. Then the two could just lie down and relax together. The thought of being able to relax with Meiko was what helped drive Alaster to finish his work without complaint.
Finally, it was all done. Every box and all the furniture was successfully inside the new place. All that was left to do was open each box and put the contents inside where they belonged. That could be done later. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Alaster reached into his pocket and paid Wheels for the man's help. His payment was more than double what the other gang member got combined. "Thank you so much again."
Wheels took the money and grinned. "Anytime, pal. Now you and the lady enjoy your time together. Later!" Wheels waved as he got into the now empty moving truck and drove off into the distance. After watching the truck drive off, Alaster sat down in the front porch, exhausted from all the lifting. Keeping his eyes on the road, he awaited the arrival of his love.
To his delight, Alaster did not need to wait long. Only about after five minutes of waiting, Alaster saw the cab arriving. Meiko was here! As soon as it stopped in front of the house, Alaster ran up to it. Once he heard the sound of the car door unlocking, he opened the door to help his lavender angel out the cab. God, she looked so beautiful! Alaster smiled as his eyes met Meiko's.
"Hello, love. It's so wonderful to see you!" He moved in close to press his lips against hers. However, Alaster was careful not to hug her or stay close for too long. After all, he was sweaty from all the lifting and moving. He needed to shower first, and then it would be cuddle time with Meiko. Holding her hand, the two lovebirds made their way to their new home.
It was a pretty spacious place, although the numerous boxes lying around made the place seem just a bit cramped. Thankfully, it wasn't too cramped. Moving around was still easy to do, as the boxes did not impede movement too much.
Alaster headed to the kitchen. Pouring a glass of water for himself, he drank the whole thing before refilling it and drinking the whole thing again. He then made his way to the living room, turned on the air conditioner, and sat down on the couch. It was clear that he was exhausted. "What a bloody day. Still, all that lifting, all the idiocy from the bloody gang I had to put up with. All of it was worth it, because now we can relax."
Kissing Meiko's forehead, Alaster looked into one of the bags he left on top of one of the boxes. Inside was a fresh towel, some clean clothes, some shampoo and conditioner, and soap. "I'll unpack everything else tomorrow. First, I need a shower so badly. Afterwards, we can do something together. I won't keep you waiting too long, love." As he grabbed his things and headed for the bathroom, he turned around to face Meiko and smirked as he spoke. "I won't say no if you want to come and join me." He then winked at her.
Whether Meiko decided to join him in the shower or not, Alaster made his way into the bathroom. He craved the warm water right about now. The only thing he craved more was Meiko's company. Regardless of whether he'd get that now or after the shower, Alaster was content. Nothing better than to spend time with the woman he loved above all else, especially after such an exhausting day.

As soon as she arrived. Her beloved helped her out of the car, like a true gentleman. Still, she could not get used to it.
"My love. I'm so happy to see you" Meiko said and went to hug her man. The two did kiss. But she noticed how he didnt wanna hug her yet. He was so considerate, she couldnt help but give him another kiss, but this time on the forehead.
The two lovebirds made their way to their dream home. Arriving there, she looked around and determined it was lovely. She couldnt wait to unpack and decorate everything with Alaster. Her love went to the kitchen to get a drink. She couldnt imagine how tired he must have been.
Alaster soon kissed Meiko's forehead, which made her blush and then mentioned he can unpack everything tomorrow. Now he needed a shower. Meiko nodded
"Ok. Well, I should make myself useful and help him unpack while he showers" Meiko thinks to herself, until she heard Alaster tell her that she can come
"On second thought that can wait. A 2nd shower wouldnt hurt" she thinks to herself as she gets up and rushed over to her dear boyfriend

As Meiko rushed to join him, Alaster began to blush. If someone were to ask him at that moment if lewd thoughts were running around in his head, he would be lying if he answered no. Seeing Meiko want to join him made Alaster smile. Placing an arm around her, the two lovebirds headed inside the bathroom. Time to relax and wash their troubles and exhaustion away!~
After their relaxing, steamy, and totally PG-13 shower, the couple dried themselves and changed into clean and comfortable clothing, dumping the dirty clothes in the laundry basket, to be washed later. Feeling all clean and refreshed, it was time to relax! Alaster took out his phone to order some pizza and a bottle of Epsi soda. After finishing the call, he took out a pack of popcorn and left it on the counter beside an empty bowl, waiting for the pizza to arrive before microwaving it. He was in the mood for a movie.
Moving one of the boxes out of the way of the electrical outlet, Alaster plugged in the TV. Grabbing the remote, he sat down in the couch next to Meiko. Getting close to her, he began to cuddle with her. "This feels wonderful. I'm so happy we can finally live together. Everything we've done up to this point, to get to this moment of being here with you. It was all worth it. I'm so happy to be with you, my love!" Alaster smiled as he pressed his lips on Meiko's cheek, blushing slightly as he did so.
Alaster passed the remote to Meiko. She could pick the movie to watch, seeing as Alaster did not really care about which movie he would see. The point was to spend time with his girlfriend, so he was fine with watching any movie she desired. He was down for anything. Action, sci-fi, comedy, horror. Whatever Meiko was in the mood for.
"So what are you in the mood for, my love?"

After a nice and completely wholesome shower, Meiko was refreshed. Sure, the shower sorta kinda, but totally washed off her hair dye and revealed her light brown hair. But it was worth it. Totally worth it. The shower was just too wholesome to miss.
After fully drying off and dressing up in clean clothes, she joined her boyfriend who ended a phone call after ordering pizza. Nice. he prepared popcorn and drinks and everything. He was just so perfect. Everything. Food, drinks, cuddles and kisses.
"Im so happy we're finally together like this. Im happy Im with you" she said and kissed him
The two got comfy real fast and now Alaster allowed Meiko to choose what movie to watch
The choice was remarkably and surprisingly easy. Horror movie. A horror flick was fitting. She didnt get to spend Halloween with her beloved. The least she could do is watch a slasher with him and jump in his manly arms if she gets jumpscared. Well, chances were she wouldnt, but she could pretend~
"I hope you dont mind a bit of horror. We didnt get to spend Halloween together. So hopefully this could make up for it and give us at least a small... last hurrah from Halloween." she said as she tried to explain her choice of movie

As the two lovebirds cuddled, Alaster began to stroke Meiko's hair a bit. It felt so soft, silky, and smooth. In all honesty, Alaster did not know that Meiko's natural hair color was light brown. He had always assumed her hair was lavender. The subject never really came up in their conversations before. Still, Alaster liked her hair regardless of its color. He wondered just what other surprises she had in store for him.
Meiko decided that she wanted to watch a horror movie, to make up for the fact that she and Alaster were too busy to spend time together on Halloween. Alaster smiled, not just because horror was his favorite movie genre, but because he would now get to make up for lost spooky time. He still felt horrible for not being able to go out with Meiko on Halloween. He really wanted to show Meiko his vampire outfit he had his tailor make for him. Oh well, maybe next year. "Horror sounds wonderful! Any movie in particular you want to watch?"
Before Meiko could answer, the doorbell rang. Alaster got up to get the door. "Hold that thought, love." Opening the door, Alaster saw the pizza delivery guy. For a moment, Alaster entertained the idea of taking the pizza man to the basement and he and Meiko torturing the guy together. Ultimately, he decided against it. Perhaps another time.
After paying for the pizza and soda, Alaster closed the door, took the large box of pizza and the bottle of Epsi to the kitchen, and placed both on top of the counter. Alaster then placed the bag of popcorn in the microwave. As it cooked and the sounds of popping began to fill the kitchen, Alaster took out two cups and two plates, one each for Meiko and him. He took the slices of pizza and put two slices on each plate. Then, the soda was poured into each cup. Once the popcorn was ready, he poured it all into the large bowl. He then brought the popcorn bowl, the plates, and the cups to the couch (though not all at once, as that was too much for Alaster to hold alone), leaving the pizza and soda bottle in the kitchen counter for later.
"Dinner is served!" Alaster sat down next to Meiko, handing her pizza and soda to her, and leaving the bowl of popcorn between their laps. Once Meiko decided on which movie she wanted the two to watch, then movie night can officially begin!

Alaster asked if there was any movie in particular that she would watch. Meiko opened her mouth to speak, but a door bell has been rang. As Alaster told her to hold that thought and got up to answer it. Meiko pouted. It was revealled that the pizza delivery guy has arrived to deliver the goods: Pizza.
Meiko hoped Alaster wouldnt kill the pizza delivery man as that would obviously lead the authorities into them. Surely people keep tabs where and which adresses their pizza drivers go to. Alaster paid for the pizza, closed the door. He then soon got dinner.
"Oh darling. You're amazing. Thank you so much. But next time I serve the meal, okay?" she said.
Meiko felt Alaster did so much for her, she had to return the favour other then exist. But then she remembered the original question "Oh! Right! The movie! It doesnt matter which. As long as its horror. It can be anything. Im not picky. But, if you really really make me pick. Then something Halloween themed, maybe?" Meiko suggests as she sits back and gets the popcorn.
She was just about ready for any movie as she gently munched on some popcorn

Alaster smiled when Meiko called him amazing and thanked him for the food and drink. "Any time, love." She said that she would serve the meal next time. If that was what she wanted, then Alaster was okay with that. Whatever made his girlfriend happy.
As he took a bite from his slice of pizza, Alaster was pleased to see that this was actual good pizza, and none of that cheaply made crap. Meiko deserved only the finest pizza, and after moving around heavy boxes and furniture, there was no way Alaster would end the day eating bad pizza.
Meiko said that she wasn't picky about which horror movie to watch. Anything was fine. But then she suggested a Halloween themed horror movie. "Sounds good. Halloween horror movie it is!" While eating pizza with one hand, Alaster grabbed the remote with the other hand and began looking through the horror section. So many movies to pick from. Stab II, Yell, Tokyo Chainsaw Massacre, Knife After Dark, Friday the 31st, A Nightmare on Birch Avenue. Eventually, Alaster settled for Helloween. It was old, but a classic.
As the movie's intro started playing, Alaster took some popcorn and ate some. He then took a sip of soda. Once he reached for the bowl, he felt his fingers brush up against Meiko's. Alaster leaned close to Meiko, smiling and cuddling with her as he watched the movie. The movie got to the scene where the two female party goers went to the back of the building to make out. It was kinda hot, but of course neither of the girls could hold a candle to Meiko's beauty. Alaster watched as the masked killer slowly approached the two kissing women, pulling out his knife as the women, unaware of the killer's presence, slowly began to take off their costumes and undress.
"Oh, I love this part." Alaster smiled as the knife was plunged onto the back of one of the girls, killing her instantly as blood began to gush out. Considering how old the movie was, the effects were fake and a bit corny, but it was still humorous in Alaster's opinion. The other girl began screaming, trying to flee from the masked psycho. Running as fast as she could while the killer walked slowly, seemingly taking his time. He then raised his knife, aimed carefully, and tossed it. Spinning multiple times in the air, the knife found its mark on the back of the woman's head. She fell down to the floor, blood leaking out of her head as she died. The killer then walked to the dead woman and pulled the bloody knife from her head.
Of course, the scene was not very realistic. This was just a movie, after all. Alaster was more than familiar enough with how real murder looked like. Still, it wasn't too fake to the point where he could not enjoy the movie. For its time, this scene was undoubtedly realistically frightening. Still, even if the movie was bad enough to be a complete joke, it was fine as long as Meiko was enjoying it. Alaster looked at Meiko for a second, wondering what she was thinking about, if she's seen this movie before, if she was enjoying it so far or not. Alaster then turned back to face the TV screen, getting another handful of popcorn.

Alaster chose an old movie. It was a good one. Meiko forgot the title, but it was one of those enjoyable slashers. Meiko smiled and enjoyed the movie. Just as the movie was starting, she took some popcorn and ate it. Even for a second, feeling her love's fingers as he also went to grab the tasty snack.
The two got closer to one another and cuddled to watch the movie. Ah this was perfect. For a second, things seemed actually calm, peaceful, serene and normal. She finally felt like a real human being, like an average every run of the mill person just enjoying life. And not some super powered.. or well... mildly powered Villain. She felt normal.
She heard how Alaster liked a specific part in the movie. Meiko smiled and giggled hearing that, before taking a sip of a drink. She proceded to watch the movie, which was obviously fake, cheesy and corny. But that was just what was so enjoyable about it. Everyone likes these spoopy movies in this time of year. Even heroes.
Meiko then looked a bit at Alaster to see if he was enjoying himself with the movie, because thats all that mattered. That he was happy

As the movie went on, Alaster found himself completely immersed. All of the things that were bothering him just took a complete backseat as his attention was focused on nothing but the movie, and of course his adorable girlfriend. Despite it having only been a few hours since he finished moving everything to the new house, it felt like an eternity ago. It felt like Alaster lived in this house with Meiko for years. Time flies when one is having fun, and spending time with Meiko was like an eternity of pure bliss.
As Meiko glanced at Alaster, he did the same to her. Their eyes met each other. Smiling, Alaster leaned his head on Meiko's shoulder. He wanted to hold her, to embrace her, to run his fingers through her gorgeous hair or her soft cheek. However, both his hands were dirty. One hand from the popcorn, the other from the pizza. Since he did not want to touch her with his dirty hands, Alaster instead settled for a kiss on Meiko's cheek. But why stop there? After pulling away and smiling, Alaster slowly leaned in to kiss her once more. Only this time, he went for her lips. Slowly and gently pressing his lips against hers, Alaster ignored the TV screen as he passionately smooched the woman he loved and cared about above all else. Finally, he pulled away, blushing deeply and smiling.
The minutes passed by. Despite the movie being an hour and a half long, it seemed to just speed by. Before Alaster knew it, the credits were rolling, the cup of soda and the plate of pizza were both empty, the popcorn was all gone, and the sun had set long ago. Still cuddling with Meiko, Alaster felt content. It would be very easy for him to just fall asleep right then and there, but it was far too soon to call it a night. He wanted to spend more time with her before having to deal with unpacking everything in the morning.
Alaster got up and took the empty cups and plates to the sink. He then put the bottle of Epsi and the leftover pizza slices in the fridge for tomorrow. Afterwards, he began to wash, dry, and put away the dishes, wanting to get it out of the way so it would not be a concern tomorrow. If Meiko helped out with this, then Alaster appreciated her assistance. Even if not, that was okay, since that meant that Meiko would not have to worry about it and could just stay relaxing in the couch for longer. It didn't make a difference, as Alaster was happy either way.
Once he was finished, Alaster hugged Meiko with his now clean hands. Smiling, he kissed her once more. He just could not help it. She was just so beautiful! How could anyone not want to kiss such a gorgeous angel?
"So what do you want to do now, my love?" Alaster was in the mood for anything. Whatever Meiko desired, Alaster would gladly give her.

Their gazes locked and the two just stared at eachother. Alaster kissed Meiko's cheek and made her smile. And then he went for the lips. It was safe to say that it was divine.. Sure the movie was 90 minutes, but with Alaster by her side, it felt like 90 seconds. And the movie was over in no time. Meiko saw Alaster getting up to clean up and get the cups and stuff. She decided to get up and help him as well.
Once the love birds were finished, they hugged. They finally hugged. And they kissed once more. Because one can never have enough kisses.
Alaster then asked what did she want to do. Honestly, she didnt feel like doing anything physical. Rest was nice
"I dont feel like doing anything. Can we just rest or watch more TV or something. I dont know" she said as she just wanted to lay down
This was one of those serene lazy day where she wanted to do nothing. Sleep was also one of her options, but not yet. Not just yet. She figured she'd check her InstaSnap later to see if she had any new likes, comments or followers. Now she just wanted something with her boyfriend. After all, they do share a house now

It seemed like Meiko was just content with relaxing, either resting or just watching TV. That sounded just fine to Alaster. Reaching to the side of the couch, Alaster pulled on the switch. The bottom portion of the couch opened up, making a bed-like flat surface for the couple to lie down on. The two sat and lied down together, getting comfortable on the couch.
Alaster grabbed the remote and checked what was on to see if anything good was airing at the moment. So far, flipping through the channels revealed nothing interesting in his opinion. One channel had a man with glasses explain the history of quirks and how it affected society, the next channel was airing a show about two brothers hunting down monsters, another channel had the weather lady advise everyone to bring their umbrellas for the rain tomorrow, then there was a show of two men measuring the force of an exploding cement truck, then a sitcom in the style of a cartoon about a fat man and his family, and then a fashion show with women walking down a runway in outfits designed by the contestants.
As Alaster kept checking channel after channel, his phone began to ring. One quick glance showed that it was Eyes, the admin from the gang he worked with. Rolling his eyes, Alaster let the call go straight to voicemail. He didn't care about whatever it was those idiots wanted from him. All that mattered to him was Meiko, and anything that could help keep Meiko happy. Nothing else mattered to Alaster.
Before Meiko could comment on his phone ringing, Alaster smiled as he reassured her that it was nothing to worry about. "Don't worry about it, love. It's no one important. Right now, all I care about is you, being with you, and doing everything I can to keep that smile on your beautiful face." Kissing her forehead, Alaster resumed his channel surfing, looking for something to watch that Meiko would not find boring.
After flipping through so many channels, cartoons, commercials, local news, movies, sports, debates, and old soap operas, Alaster realized that he honestly did not give a crap about anything that was airing on TV. Most of what was on was either boring crap that did not entertain him, or something that Alaster knew would bore Meiko out of her skull. He decided to give the remote to Meiko and let her decide what to watch. After all, he did not want to force Meiko to watch something that she didn't like or care about, and Alaster was fine with anything that Meiko wanted to watch.

She lied on the couch and rested her head on her boyfriend. Alaster took the remote and flipped the channels. So far there was nothing interesting that was up. Suddenly a phone rang. Alasters phone. He checked who called him, but deemed it was nothing interesting. Meiko doubted that. She didnt wanna press the issue, but it worried her. Hopefully it was a book publisher and no one sketchy. Alaster reassured her that it was someone nonimportant. Still, Meiko's womanly senses were going off. Alaster kissed her on the forehead and it calmed her down a bit. Only a bit. He gave her the remote and she right away put it on an innocent cartoon channel.
Cartoons, even if boring at least offered something to look at. The drawing, the animation, the bright and vibrant colours. Much better then any real life crap. Heck, she may even fall asleep. She was positioned just right. Laying down and resting her head on her boyfriend. Now the only thing that needed to pass was time
"I hope he's not in trouble. Things just finally got good for us." Meiko thought to herself as she slowly closed her eyes. She was ready to fall asleep

Meiko decided to watch cartoons. Alaster did not know what to think of them, seeing as he never got to see any when he was a child. Sadly, he instead spent his childhood getting beaten by his drunk father and bitch stepmother. He supposed that cartoons could not be too bad. Anything that strayed as far from real life as possible was more than fine in Alaster's opinion. Besides, this was what Meiko picked, and Alaster would of course be more than fine with her decision.
As the minutes became hours, he saw Meiko slowly drift to sleep. Alaster smiled. Why was she so bloody adorable? He still did not understand just how he got to be so lucky to have been able to meet her. With how his life had been so far, Alaster was convinced that fate had gone out of its way just to screw him over at every possibility for no reason other than to spite him. So then why was he blessed with this beautiful lavender angel? Was it to make up for the crap life he endured back in England? Well whatever it was, it didn't matter. What was important was that Meiko was here, and that she was his. She was the bright light that illuminated his otherwise dark and shitty world, and he would do anything to keep her shining so happily and radiantly. Anyone who threatened to hurt or upset her in any way would know the true meaning of Hell.
Soon, Alaster was beginning to feel drowsy as well. Looking at Meiko sleep made him want to drift off to dream land as well. Smiling, he leaned in and so very gently kissed the top of her head. Alaster then turned off the TV with the remote, closed his eyes, and whispered, "Sweet dreams, my love." Not long after, he too fell asleep. He began to dream about the future, one where he and Meiko were happily married and had two adorable children. The family was peaceful, happy, and safe from the troubles of the world. Perhaps one day, this dream would become reality?
Several hours later, Alaster woke up. For a second, he was confused, unfamiliar with his surroundings. But then he remembered that he no longer lived in that crappy apartment. He already moved. This was the new place, Meiko and Alaster's home. Before getting up from the couch, he noticed that Meiko was not there. She must have waken up first. After getting up and heading to the bathroom, Alaster turned on the sink, letting the water flow. Grabbing some with his hands, he splashed his face numerous times to wake himself up. After brushing his teeth and drying his face, Alaster made his way to the kitchen for some breakfast. On his way there, he smiled at seeing his pet raven Edgar sleeping peacefully in his cage.
Upon entering the kitchen, Alaster's eyes fell on his now awake girlfriend. Walking up to Meiko, Alaster embraced her and gave her a kiss. "Good morning, love. Did you sleep well last night?"
It was time to eat some breakfast. Then, the unpacking could begin. After that, the day was theirs to enjoy in whatever manner they saw fit.
