It was a really nice saturday evening. The sun was slowly moving below horizon, bathing the sky in a nice war orange. A few pink clowds over here and there lazily floated about as Yusaku tip tapped his way towards the outskirts of Tokyo. The halloween festival still handn't concluded, as such he was going to enjoy the last bit of it in his own way. He liked long quiet walks whis some smooth jazz to keep him company and today he had been walking for quite a while now.
He was only experimenting with a new shell for his body that looked more like a bat than his usual feline look. He had gotten it just in time for halloween, so there wasn't a better time to try it out.
While still sporting mostly a jet black look, his feet paws had turned into two toed digitigrade bat talons. His body was sleeker than usual, while anything that used to be green now was a vibrant purple. His helmet was elongated into a snout which looked like a hybrid between a dragon and a bat,the large face display substituted by more plating and just two small lenses to projects his jade eyes. He was also fitted with larger bat like ears, just for more flavor. He still had 3 fingers per hands, but just like his feet they had turned into sharp looking claws.
Strolling about, minding his own business, the bat lookign robot suddenly got distracted by the music he was listening to. Even with the slightly new look he was still his old clumsy self. Too focused on the lyrics of the song, Yusaku bumped into someone...again. Needless to say, he lost balance and had to grab a street lamp to not fall.
"Oof! S-sorry! I wasn't looking ahead..." he sheepishly squealed, finallu noticing who he had run into. It was guy. Black hair and brown eyes. The most prominent feature though were the pair of wings on his back. He was a Quirker, just like Yusaku...and a fair bit taller.

For the first time in his life, Goro had gone clothes shopping. Back in England, almost his entire wardrobe had been uniforms or suits of some form, whether they be school uniforms or formalwear, and anything else was usually pre-selected for him simply for the sake of passing under the radar when in public. He'd always justified it by all the time needed to make any clothes fit him; there were better things to do than spend hours carefully cutting wing holes into T-shirts. But out in Japan, it was different. No one had planned for him to stay there for longer than a few days when his supplies had been packed, so all he had were a few identical suits and his combat armour, neither of which were ideal on a day-to-day basis.
Of course, he also had his Halloween costume, which he was currently wearing. His awful, disgusting, insulting excuse for a Halloween costume that he'd had to purchase simply to fit into the equally awful, disgusting, insulting excuse for a party that the mayor had organized for some godforsaken reason.
Making matters worse, the whole costume was torn and dirtied. Rage still bubbled quietly inside him at those damned haunted house animatronics, and at his brother for dragging him into that mess to begin with. Sure, he'd thought to take Nick into there first, but Nick was the one who actually took him inside! Out in the streets now, he wished he'd thought to head back and change into whichever suit was cleanest instead; the design of the costume was too gaudy and sparkly to pass off the damage as intentional, and he could feel judging eyes following him every so often.
He'd managed to pick up a few shirts and pairs of jeans from whatever shops were thankfully still open, and somehow they'd stocked clothing he hadn't completely despised. He couldn't change into any of them or even slip one of the shirts over his costume until he got home; as acceptable as the shirts were, none of them came with wing holes. So, here he was, taking a walk to try and clear his mind in the most humiliating outfit he'd ever worn in his life.
Consumed in his own thoughts, he neither saw nor heard the robot headed his way until they collided. He wasn't knocked off balance too badly, but he was not in the frame of mind to stay polite to whoever it was he'd hit into.
"Watch where you're goi-" He snapped reflexively at the other, before he actually saw what he'd hit into and trailed off. A robot. A... bat robot? There was no way it was a simple Halloween costume, the way it moved made that clear enough. He'd seen mutants with robotic features before, but this was something else entirely. His eyes flicked up and down the robot's body, but there was not an inch of organic matter present.
Goro was intrigued. As a mutant himself, the implications of how widely a mutation could alter a person's physiology were fascinating, and as a scientist such advanced robotics were irresistible. "It's fine, it's fine." He smiled as sincerely as he could to the robot, drew his wings inward slightly and leaned towards him, offering a hand to get his balance back, "Are you alright? Not damaged at all?"

The little bat robot quickly raised one arm up defensively, trying to shield him from an imaginary attack. But nothing happened. Yusaku slowly lowered his guard, only to find the guy who had been shouting at him offering him his hand to stand up. "I'm...I'm fine. Thank you." He mumbled, grabbing hold of Goro's hand with his claws and slowly standing up, trying to lift most of his own weight. Even with a different shell, his weight had remained mostly on the hefty side.
The robobat couldn't help but notice the guy's clothes. His halloween costume had been completely and utterly trashed. It made him remeber when he accidentally ruined Miyu's costume. He had probably gone through some hussle if his clothes were in that condition.
Yusaku's digital eyes looked over Goro's own. "I'm sorry I bumped into you. I'm Y-yusaku. Yusaku Izumi." He shyly introduced hiself. The little robot wondered if he should ask about the guy's costume. It honestly looked like the guy had been through some trouble, and the little hero in training wished to help.
"Are you all right though? I don't mean to offend you,but your costume seems...a little rough. Is there something I can do to help you?"

Goddamn, this guy was heavy. If it wasn't obvious already from Goro's observations, the boy's weight made it clear as crystal; he really was a robot. The claws on his hands were so large it was rather easy for Goro to avoid them cutting into his hand as he did his best to get the robot back onto his feet.
"My name is Goro Utari. A pleasure meeting you." For once, those words were entirely sincere. It wasn't often that Goro encountered something, or in this case someone, who fascinated him like this. Even so, he could see the robot's glowing eyes looking over his costume, and whether they were a technological marvel or not, anyone seeing him in this hideous outfit made bile rise in his throat. He broke eye contact with Izumi, looking off into the distance at nothing in particular.
If there was one thing he hadn't expected, it was for Izumi to be so damn polite about his costume. Goro's shoulders relaxed slightly and he sighed. "Honestly, it's preferable now to how it was when I bought it. At least now, I never have to wear it again." His sentence was punctuated by a bitter laugh, followed by Goro quickly pushing his glasses back up.
"Honestly, unless you have some way of cutting professional-looking wing holes into shirts right now, I'm not sure if there's any way you could help me. Do you have that kind of functionality?" He looked over at the clawed hand he'd been holding earlier, trying to tell for himself if the bat robot was actually capable of such a thing. If he isn't able to, though, he might just leave and that'd leave Goro with no chance to examine him further, and that just wouldn't do. "Though, I guess just having someone to walk with right now who isn't judging me for my costume's condition would be preferable." Small talk was mostly a foreign concept to Goro, so he hoped the robot wouldn't be put off by his lack of social experience.

The robobat's ears flicked as he registered the winged guy's name. Goro Utari. Sure enough that was a japanese name. Yet the guy's accent was different. Clearly not native to the area at all. It was somewhat surprising, but not by much. People moving in and out of country wasn't unheard of.
He was a little saddened about Goro's despising thoughts on his own halloween costume, but he guessed that not everyone liked that kind of celebration, so he didn't try to press for any more info as to not barge into personal matters. "W-well...maybe next time you could wear me as a costume for next halloween, metal plates do not get ripped at the very least." He joked, stifling a small laugh.
He liked this guy. He was being really nice to him. Perhaps he could become one of his friends.
Walking over to Goro's side, he raised one of his three fingered claws up and looked at it for a small while. "I...don't think I can help you cut into things. My claws are sharp yes,but I don't have any sort of weaponry on me. It would be very dangerous for other people."
With a nod Yusaku began walking besides Goro. "I...know how you feel. People are always judging. With the advent of Quirkers, the quirkless kinda went even more quick to judge and ostracize." He mumbled, arms behind his head. Somehow, that guy put him at ease. He usually was way more shy towards people, but Goro's manners sure put him in a good mood.
"So...what can you do with your wings?" He asked, curious. "Can you fly? It would be cool to be able to fly around when you want" he casually commented, occasionally turning his eyes towards a shop or the other. With his feet claws extended into a digitigrade stance he was at tall as Goro, he noticed.
"I just...hope you didn't run into so much trouble because of your quirk unlike me. As you can clearly see, I'm not organic. I did not mutate into this mind you. My mind just got stuck inside a power armor suit that was originally design for the police in the early days."
He knocked twice on his chest to show he was hollow inside, and his chest plates partially opened to reveal padded insides. "See? Even though I'm kinda hollow inside my plating makes me weight alot. Which, I guess, it's good for punching bad guys. Plus as I tould you, I can be worn as armor if the person can fit me. I'd say I could fit someone even a slightly bit taller than you inside me. Taller than that thoug it would feel uncomfortable. I can stretch around people a little, but I can't do miracles. If anything, as much as this powers and looks got me alot of unwanted attention it came in handy a couple times. I got to help a friend get back home when she was too tired to walk. I was even able to shelter her from rain!"
His plates closed back up as he resumed walking normally. "Best of all, being worn feels really good. I think it has to do with my body's old programming. Having a person inside me makes me feel way better than usual. It can get a little tiring, though. But it's all worth it." He concluded. Judging by the guy's looks, Yuasku simply went ahead and explained anything he could do with his powers. Most people he met would ask anyway, so he might just throw the information out there and let them make of that what they wished. Goro himself seemed very intrested in him for some reason, too,so hopefully what he said was enough to satiate his curiosity.

If Izumi being polite about Goro's costume had been unexpected, what he'd said next was straight-out shocking. If it weren' for Izumi's tone of voice, Goro would've thought he was coming onto him with some kind of bizarre pick-up line. Goro raised an eyebrow, now even more intrigued.
"Oh, I see." He was honestly somewhat disappointed that Izumi couldn't help with his current wardrobe situation. The night was still young so Goro had no desire to return to his hotel room, but it seemed he wasn't going to have a choice. It just remained to see how long Goro could bear wearing his wrecked costume.
Of course, the boy would've gotten the worst of it from quirkless bigots. He sticks out like a sore thumb, there'd be no avoiding any of it. At least, being a robot, he could probably take more physical abuse than a regular person, but that didn't excuse any of it. Goro frowned, clenching his fists tighter as he tried to keep pace with Izumi. "You're certainly right there."
"I can fly, yes, but since I'm not a pro hero it'd be considered an illegal use of my Quirk in public." Not that Goro would let that stop him, but admitting to breaking the law to some random kid on the street was obviously not a good idea. "Even if I so desired, legally I wouldn't be allowed to 'fly around when I want'."
Again, Izumi's situation became more baffling, and all the more intriguing. Not a mutation, but some kind of mental transfer into an actual suit of power armour? The tiny impulse within Goro calling to just knock Izumi down to the ground, pull out a screwdriver and just take him apart to study him grew slightly, and he did his best to push it back down for the moment. If he had been just a robotic-seeming mutant, he'd probably still have biological components on the inside, or whatever hardware his body would be made of would be unique to him, impossible to recreate in a regular system. But, even if the sapient mind inside wasn't part of the design, the rest of his body was an actual, fully functioning robot. Even disregarding whatever effects being inhabited by Izumi had on the circuitry, it would still be an interesting subject to study.
As if shaking away that train of thought, Goro shook his head and pushed his glasses back up. "Unfortunately, I've had my fair share of trouble with the quirkless as well. I've got my fair share of scars from it too. But, I suppose that's all we can really expect from a society that hasn't changed for us yet." He glanced down at his ruined costume again and sighed, "And, as far as it looks right now, doesn't want to change either."
Goro left it at that as Izumi began demonstrating features of his chassis. He certainly wasn't lying about being wearable, that was for damn sure. When Izumi clarified he could probably fit someone of Goro's size, a grin spread across his face. What he could do if he had control of something like that... He could rid this city, or hell, the whole country of quirkless scum pretty easily. He could probably take Nick on directly and finally get his revenge properly. He wouldn't be unstoppable, obviously no machine is flawless, but he'd come pretty close. The malicious excitement bubbling inside of him didn't quite make it to his face, but he couldn't completely stop his wings from trembling. He tried to calm himself down before responding, "It's definitely better that you'd enjoy performing the function you were made for, I suppose. If having someone inside you felt unpleasant, that'd be so much worse."
"So, how do you recharge? Do you have some kind of charging station at home, or is there some other method I'm not aware of? I'm assuming you don't have some kind of magical limitless battery." Goro laughed a little as he finished, trying to make his questions seem more like friendly curiosity than some kind of interrogation.

"Well, to recharge is really easy. I just use my tail or my paws." Yusaku replied, turning to the side and wiggling his tail around a little. "I just plug it in a power outlet for a few hours and voilà. Good as new." He answered swiftly. By now he had probably been asked that question alot of times. "Or, using my hand paws, I can drain batteries. It's way less efficient but it feels like eating. Kinda. Every battery type has its own flavour. I happen to adore LiPos. They are so great. Oh, by the way. I wasn't made. I was a human once, then my mind got stuck in this body. While I am not considered alive by the strict term of it, I still am very much capable of coherent thoughts and genuine emotions. It's not programming."
The cheery attitude dropped when he noticed Goro's wings shaking and the guy looking down at his costume. Yusaku kinda felt bad for him. He looked really depressed about it. Quirkless dorks just taking advantage of Quirker's insecurities and ostracizing them from society was something he really despised. "You know...I can crack concrete with a punch...or zap people with high voltage electricity, but I...never had the guts to actually do it. Still, sometimes I really wanted to punch one of those assholes that picked on me. Stright up deck them in the face." He stated, stopping his walk for a moment.
"Tell you what." He stated, looking around. No one seemed to be around them. "If you have somewhere we can go near here, a place where we can have some privacy, I'll let you wear me. I just...can't see you this sad and dragging this broken costume around." Yusaku was sincerely worried for the guy, and he wished to help him feel better. So, he did the only thing he could do. He selflessly offered to become someone else's mask, something others could vent their frustration and sadness to someone who could understand their position. He wished to make Goro happy even if after that night he would never meet the guy again. "I'll be your halloween costume. Since it's night time and most people are asleep, I would say no one forbids us to walk around together for a while. You deserve a good halloween."
He stopped for a second, observing if his proposal had somehow reinvigorated Goro's spirits. "There are some rules though, just in case we run into bad guys or some drunk bongo. You can use my powers only in self defense. And certainly no killing. If you agree to that, you can keep me on for as long as my reserves allow me. Deal?" He offered his paw for Goro to shake.

"Really, just a regular power outlet?" The mental image of Izumi sitting with his tail shoved into a wall socket actually made Goro chuckle. "You don't need anything higher voltage than that? And, how does draining batteries with your hands feel like eating? Does it stimulate the suit's mouth equivalent?" Batteries having different flavours didn't really interest him, but the logistics of how an eating sensation could result from action with the suit's hands did. At Izumi's unnecessary clarification of what his mind was, Goro nodded. "I figured as much."
He hadn't realized how much his wings had been shaking until Izumi's gaze drifted to them. Without missing a beat, his wings snapped shut against his back.
Goro had to work to keep himself from grinning again as Izumi spoke of revenge. He felt the urge to grab Izumi by the shoulders and yell at him to go and do it right now, but all that would accomplish would be freaking the boy out. Instead he made himself frown slightly and look away as he responded, "Don't blame yourself for wanting that. It's only natural to hate those who've hurt you."
What Izumi said next made Goro stop dead in his tracks. For a while, he kept his gaze away from the robot, unable to look back at him. He hadn't thought it'd be this easy, that the time between Izumi mentioning what he could do and actually offering to Goro would be so short. Apparently, Izumi had mistaken Goro's excited wing shaking earlier for shivering, and that false impression wouldn't be helped by the whole body shiver that planted him in one spot for an uncomfortable moment. In truth, it was not a shiver from the cold, or due to being tired. It was a mad kind of glee that captured him, as the image of a metal foot crushing a quirkless man's head invaded his mind.
There was a split second where Goro turned and almost agreed to the proposal. It was right in front of him, just inches away and all he had to do was reach his hand out and take it, but he knew he couldn't. Not yet, anyway. The way Izumi was thinking at the moment, the way he was acting, there's no way he'd actually allow anything Goro wanted to do. Even if he tried to hack some kind of manual override into the robot, Izumi could probably take him down before he finished. So, rather than shake Izumi's hand, he lay his own on top and pushed it away to decline.
"My apologies, but I'm not certain this is a good idea. Thank you for the offer, though." He finally met Izumi's eyes once more, still trying desperately to remain calm. "We've only met just now, I can't say I trust you enough to wear you. Plus, are you sure something like this offered to a civilian wouldn't count as an illegal use of your Quirk?"
They'd approached a tiny park without realizing it. There wasn't much to speak of within besides a disused children's playground and some trees spotting the perimeter, but there were at least some benches they could rest on. "I do have some more questions about your Quirk, though, and my legs are tired from, uh, earlier today, so perhaps we could take a seat over there and talk? By the way, if you have any questions about my Quirk, go ahead and ask." Making the conversation between them more even would probably help to keep Izumi willing to speak.

Yusaku nodded, letting his paw fall back to his side. "You're...you're not wrong, I guess. If anything, you're a responsible guy." The robot commented. "The powers I have now are technically not coming from my quirk. My quirk was a one time transfer thing that just so happened to shove my brain into a tin can. All this I can do..." He raised his other paw up as he released some sparks. "Other robots could do too. The only thing that makes me different from others if this kind of chassis ever got greenlit and mass produced would be that I can actually think like a normal human person would."
They had arrived at a park it seemed, and Goro had asked him to sit for a moment. The robot complied. "Hm? More questions? I guess...yeah go ahead and ask." He agreed, his eyes moving back to Goro's bat wings as he mentioned his own quirk.
"Hm...well...I don't have really much to ask about your thing. It looks straighforward enough. You have wings on your back, so I suppose you can fly and do all the stuff people with wings can do. I've met a guy with a power like yours once. Only he had some really huge angel wings. And he had just gutted two people in front of me in a fit of rage. Poor guy."

Huh, was his chassis intended for mass production at some point, or was he just speaking hypothetically? It was good to know all his physical capabilities were typical for his model, certainly made it a lot easier for Goro if he ever aimed to reproduce the model.
Goro's Quirk was somewhat simplistic, that was true, and it seemed Izumi wasn't the type to get invested in all the biological implications of his mutation. "Well, it's not just the wings. I have several physical mutations similar to bat physiology, these just stick out the most." He unbuttoned the top button of his shirt, and opened it just enough to expose the layer of fur beneath. "For example, most of my body is covered with fur. It doesn't have any practical purposes though. It takes about, three weeks to grow back if it's shaved off." He wasn't exactly comfortable giving every detail of his Quirk away, but the fur seemed inconsequential enough that it wouldn't be a problem. He buttoned his shirt back up and continued to listen to Izumi.
Angel wings? He gutted someone in front of him? "Poor guy?" Goro hadn't meant to say that last part out loud, and his eyes widened immediately as he realized his mistake. Desperate to save face, he continued, "I mean, he... he gutted people right in front of you, right?"
If Izumi was sympathizing with this murderous angel, whoever he was, he seemed pretty quick to trust people. Maybe too much for his own good, but that was only a benefit for Goro. The more gullible this kid was, the easier it'd be. Plus, for someone so shy, he didn't seem that averse to violence. Good.
"You referred to your hands as paws earlier, yes? They seem more like claws, or talons, to me. Were you remodeled recently? Perhaps your chassis is modular, and your usual configuration has paws instead?"

"Poor Guy, yes." Yusaku repeated. "I know what you're thinking. He did kill two people and I smashed a street lamp into him to stop him killing a third one. But let's ask the real question. Why did he kill those two?"
He raised his three fingered talons. "Reason number one: He was clearly distressed. Reason number two: He has a mutation that quickly sets him out of any crowd. Reason number three: They were some crooks harassing others. Quirkers like him, like me and you, are really subsceptible to becoming aggressive. At first in self defence, then it turns into retaliation. He needed someone to vent his pain, and had none. Result, I had to smash a street lamp in his face because seeing someone else suffering his same pain sent him into berserk."
Dropping his hand, Yusaku just spaced out for a moment. "It's all pent up aggression. I have it too. I too want to break some legs. I too have found myself wishing to take the lives of those that oppressed me. Hell, history is full of revolts by oppressed people. If you expose a man to anger long enough, they'll learn to hate." He stated, his gaze turned cold.
"I may be cheery and friendly and happy all the time. But I am not stupid. Hell, I can't be stupid. My mind is a computer. So, how about we come clean with each-other?"
He stood up and then squatted up eye to eye with the other mutant.
"So, am I only a weapon to you?" He asked, dead serious. "Why do I think this? Well, let's start from the beginning. When I mentioned quirkless abuse, your knuckles got white. This is usually a clear sign that thinking about quirkless riles your inner demon up and denotes your propensity to violence. You obviously favor the fight option in the "fight or flight" deal.
Moreover, you looked down at your battered costume when you said "society doesn't want to change" and "I got my fair share of scars from it" which clearly shows you tried or try to resolve matters through conflict either defensively or offensively. Once again, someone scared of fighting would have a different reaction. A reaction like mine. Shy away from public eye in fear of attracting attention.
Yet, here you are, walking around in a tattered costume without having a problem with it. Ergo, you're not scared of encountering Quirkless discriminators, 'cause you're confident you can take 'em on."
Yusaku held up his glare. He didn't have solid proof, but he just needed a reaction from Goro to understand if his reasoning was sound.
"When I talked about my quirk I told I'm a human inside a robot first of all, then proceeded to show you what my body can do. Your reply on it was: It's nice you enjoy doing what you're designed for. That, coupled with all the other questions makes me think you don't really care much about the mind and you're more intrested in the body."
He showed him one of his claw turning into his usual cat paw and then reform back into talons to answer his earlier question. He would have told him anyway.
"Thing is. You either want to get revenge on people or like the angel guy you've grown so sick of your condition that you want all quirkless to suffer. I want to get revenge on some people too. Yet, you can't openly challenge people and I don't have enough courage to stand and fight on my own. However, no one forbids us to work together. Here's the deal...the real deal I'm offering you. You wear me and give me the willpower I need to fight. I give you a chance to fight back without getting in trouble."
He bared his talons with a...rather unexpectedly devious glare. "You know, as long as the Quirkless or Quirkers are breaking the law I am allowed to beat em up as soon as I get my provisorial licence. The hero code doesn't say anything on injuries. So, the only rules we would have would be no attacking innocents, and no lethal injuries."
With that said, the bat robot stood back out. "I want you to wear me. I want you to be me. I want you to wield me as the weapon you see me as, so that I can finally get this weight off my chest. I want to fight back for once and you're clearly eager to fight. However, you don't trust me much, I understand that, and I could say the same about you. You remind me of that angel guy, and he was a great liar."
Yu offered his talons once more.
"So, if you really wanna do something about our situation, let's start trusting eachoter. I want the truth from you. If you lie, well...I'll find someone else I can trust with my body. I want to know if you truly think it like me, I want to know how much pain you want to give them and I want to know what you truly think of me. Maybe I'm wrong about you, but I don't think I am. If you shake my talons, there is no going back...so choose wisely."

As Izumi laid out his reasons for sympathizing with the angel-winged man, it dawned on Goro that perhaps he'd been too quick to think of the robot as gullible. It seemed Izumi was far more aware of society's ills than Goro had first thought. That, and he was far better at picking out someone's intentions.
There had definitely been a shift in Izumi's behaviour; the robot had been pretty happy before but now it seemed like the brunt of his abuse from quirkless hands was hitting him. Goro felt a twinge of sympathy for him, he couldn't help but nod in agreement at Izumi's spaced out ranting.
As the robot turned on him, Goro flinched a little. Izumi was probably under the impression he was far more intimidating at the moment than he actually was, but letting him think he had the upper hand at the moment could be a benefit. As Izumi leaned forward, Goro leaned away slightly, his eyes going wide. It wasn't a wholly fake reaction of course; the bat was genuinely surprised by how much Izumi had picked up on during their conversation. Thankfully, it wasn't enough for him to completely figure Goro out, but it was enough to unnerve him all the same.
If Izumi indeed was this observant, trying to lie would probably only make the situation worse. As much as Goro hated exposing any of his feelings to the world, in this case the truth was his only option. "I'll admit you're correct there. Open mutations don't lend themselves towards being welcomed by society, I'm sure you're aware. The way I see it, the more we try and hide ourselves, or let their judgement cloud our own, the longer it'll take for anything to improve."
Meeting Izumi's gaze was staring to get uncomfortable, as it felt like his piercing LED gaze was boring directly into Goro's mind. At the mention of his costume, Goro took the chance to shift his gaze downward. "Fighting is the best option for us, but my Quirk isn't ideal for combat. The thought of... of having the power to change society for once, overwhelmed any other view I had of you." The whole truth had started to feel like acid burning Goro's tongue, but trying to lie entirely would be conversational suicide, so he moved onto half-truths; trying to act as if Izumi had swayed him to see him as anything other than a weapon. An apology felt appropriate, but as much as Goro tried he couldn't get one out, as insincere as it would be.
At the very least, Izumi didn't seem opposed to still working with him. In fact, his second offer seemed far more beneficial than the first; both were aware of the other's desire for revenge, and those desires aligned enough that Goro could push Izumi further towards his own. Even if he couldn't manage that, what Izumi was offering was nothing short of cathartic bliss. Goro closed his eyes for a moment to think before answering.
Apparently, the robot was training to be a hero. Perhaps he was even a UA student. That could be both a blessing and a curse. If he knew Nick, or had known him at some point, the possibility that Izumi would discover their connection would be a great risk, but if he didn't, this could be an opportunity for Goro to take over in what Nick had already failed. Sure, it wouldn't be as great a view of UA as being a student proper would, but he could still get enough information that it would be useful. Of course, him being a hero-in-training also suggested some type of expected morals that might get in the way of their partnership, but Izumi had already admitted to wanting to bend the rules, so as long as Goro didn't push his luck things would be fine.
"Fine. No more lying." He met Izumi's eyes again, shocked for a moment by how much emotion the simulated gaze was still capable of. Figures, there is a real mind inside, and even if that doesn't matter to Goro he needs to at least learn to pretend it does. "Yes, I do want revenge, and there isn't much that I wouldn't do for it. I suppose it's hypocritical of me to still see you more as a machine than anything, considering how much I despise anyone who dehumanizes Quirkers, but... But even so, I can't shake that impression entirely. I trust that wouldn't be too much of a problem."
Izumi's talons were cold and sharp in Goro's hand, and no matter how he adjusted his position some part would still cut into his palm. He ignored the pain and shook Izumi's hand regardless. The marks afterwards could serve as a reminder of their deal. How appropriate.

Yusaku chuckled. "You really need to drop that fake ass scared look." He told Goro. "When you're ready to wear me, book room 617 at the Naryuko B&B in Shibuya and be there between 8pm." He let the guy's hand go and turned around to walk back to U.A "Oh, and remember..."
Waving his claws, Yusaku converted one of the park interactive maps to his side. It flashed images of the bat boy and Yusaku walking together, from various angles...security footage. Apparently, the bat knew how to hack into security and delete stuff. Then, Six white words on a black background. 'We are one. We are Nightmare.' before it turned off completely.
"I like you, but don't think that will allow you to manipulate me. As I said. I am not stupid. See ya soon." The armored bat stated as it slowly made his way into the darkness, diappearing from view.
