Akio was looking at a flyer he saw while he was on a walk around the city, it said: StreetBall tournament, come show off your skills in a 1 on 1 streetball tournament. All participants welcome. Sign ups close at 3:30 Akio looked at the time, it was about 10:30am A 1 on 1 street ball tournament huh? I haven't played a proper game in a while, just done some shooting at the school's gym, I've got enough time to go back to the dorm, grab my gear and be back for the sign ups Akio thought as he made his way back to the school. Once he got his gear and came back to the city he immediately started looking for the signups. He found them pretty quickly and signed himself up. When they asked what his streetball nickname was, he just put down "Nightmare". He stepped onto the court for the first time and looked at his opponent. He's short which means he's probably got good handles and/or a good jumpshot, if I watch out for those two things I can easily dominate on offense he thought to himself as he passed his opponent the ball, who immediately tried to drive past him, as Akio went to chase after him he stepped back and crossed over making Akio stumble a bit, the crowd cheered at this Damn, first play and he's already broken my ankles? Akio thought to himself as he regained his composure and saw his opponent driving towards the basket, using his long limbs he easily caught up with him and swung his arm towards the ball and smacked it at the backboard, blocking the shot, earning approval from the crowd, Akio wagged his finger at the guy as if reprimanding a child, a gesture that an American professional basketball player used to do when he blocked a shot, Akio looked at the guy with a look of determination in his eye "We're only just getting started," he said to the guy as he looked down at him

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She did not regret her own choice of housing. The penthouse after a year still made her happy and she could still afford it. It happened to work out living longer with her aunt and uncle, she did hate it there but right now, it had paid its dues. The view was wonderful, the place was wonderful, it only missed a balcony or a rooftop terrace but she did not mind, luckily she lived close enough to Tokyo Park to be able to enjoy to be there. The thing was, she wasn't much of an outside person anyway, it was getting chilly as well and it was nice to stay at home with a cup of coffee and just enjoy her home. It could still become homier than it was now, but she did not dwell on that too much as she was busy working anyway. She had gone outside now as well to just catch a bit of fresh air and to start writing on her article. She was reading the messages on her white little cellphone, Lady Scandal her cellphone. It was hilarious to her how many people did text her about scandals about friends or classmates. Also a lot of texts that begged her to not post it and that they only said that in the moment of rage, well shame for them. Actually, they were lucky as she liked to write more about things she saw but that was not possible all the time as well as risking her own fame. She dropped her white cell phone back in her back and took out a black one, which was slightly bigger and she started to type up a draft for what she wanted to write, the good thing about a column was that it wasn't so strict but she had to finish one every day. There was quite some noise coming from something unseen and she locked her phone screen and stood up, her high heels making a click-clack sound on the pavement through the park. She saw a place where they were playing street basketball, something she had not seen before since she starts living here, but then again, it was not her cup of tea. She tried to see if they were allowed to use their quirks, but society wasn't ready yet for all that. Hanako looked around to see someone that seemed to hold on to the organisation and she went on to have a small chit-chat, who knew what she could use. MADE BY VEL OF GS

After Akio blocked the shot it was still his opponents ball since Akio knocked it out of bounds, so he passed the ball and waited for his opponent to make his move. The opponent faked to the left and went to the right, this time Akio was on his toes and was able to keep up, he stayed in front of his opponent and when he saw an opening, reached a hand out and poked the ball away from his opponent. Akio ran to recover the ball before it went out of bounds and succeeded, now it was his turn to show what he could do. Akio faked to the right with a jab step and then drove to the left, his opponent too small to stop him, Akio jumped up and slammed the ball through the hoop with one hand, hanging onto the rim so his feet would "accidentally" hit his opponent's head, he let go of the rim and landed on the ground, looked at the smaller player and smirked "You know, it's not too late for you to forfeit, nobody's going to hold it against you," Akio said as his opponent passed the ball to him I'm feeling good right now and there's no way he could really stop this if he tried Akio thought to himself as he jumped up and shot the ball. The ball bounced off of the backboard and into the basket, Akio again smirked at his opponent but didn't say anything. This time his opponent was more ready and was able to snatch the ball out of Akio's hands and scored before Akio could catch up "I'm just getting started as well," the opposing streetballer taunted as Akio passed the ball to him, Akio smirked again "This game might be fun after all," he said as he waited for the opponents next move. Akio ended up winning the game 21-16 A much closer score than I anticipated but, still not bad for my first full game in a while Akio thought to himself as he walked off the court, using his shirt to wipe sweat off of his forehead.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away It was a short chit-chat as the person who was organizing, was a second ref and had to keep his eyes on the court, pitch? What did you call it? The thing was that Hanako had no idea if the rules of the original game worked the same on a street court. She decided to simply pick one of the higher seats, of the fake stands, but they worked none the less and she would sit a bit higher, she could see a bit but as it was no use of quirks or anything that would be interesting for her column, she decided to write and just keep an eye on it. She had not switched on her phone yet or three guys showed up. They were around her age perhaps even younger, at least one looked much younger and they stared at her, well not really at her face, she could even see that without her glasses on but on well the rest of her. "Gentlemen, can I help?" She said, now she did not mind people looking at her, but she did not want to have some sort of trap starting upon her or anything else violating. No one would harm her, not with the number of people around, but they were boys which were ridiculous and probably childish. She considered standing up, now that she was wearing high heels, she would be a bit taller than sitting down, but probably not tall enough considering these three. They probably signed up or were too late to sign up for the Basketball street play and were now bored and trying to think of something else to do to kill their boredom. One whistled softly between his teeth, which made her only more annoyed, she could not just simply take a picture but damn she wished that she could scandal this shit around, to call them dumb and idiotic would be mild, she had already made a column like that, about a guy who had annoyed her and she had gotten comments that she was too mild. She rolled her eyes, which made the middle guy, probably the leader, step closer to her and say something that she should not think herself as something spectacular as she went to flaunt her like that, she was simply like a thing to be bought in a store. With that, she stood up and hit him full with her left-hand flat, on his cheek. "Take that back." MADE BY VEL OF GS

As Akio was walking off of the court he noticed a woman sitting on the stands surrounded by 3 men It might be nothing but, I've gotta check if it is or not he thought to himself as he started making his way to the woman in the stands, as he approached her he saw one of the men lean in and whisper something in her ear, she then stood up and slapped his face Ok, it's definitely something Akio thought to himself as he started rushing towards the woman faster. As he reached them he saw the man mutter something under his breath and try and punch the woman, Akio stepped in front of him and was able to catch his fist, he pushed the man backwards "I think it's time you guys leave," Akio said to them as he stepped forward, trying to use his size to intimidate them, however they didn't seem to be phased as the guy that Akio pushed back stepped forward and tried to take another swing, Akio sidestepped the punch and then sent his own punch towards the guy, hitting him square in the chin and caused him to stumble backwards G's punches were way faster than that Akio thought to himself as the other two guys approached him, but by this point people had taken notice and officials were coming to confront Akio and the men. They said Akio and the men would have to leave or else they would call the police, the 3 men obviously didn't want that and they ran off. Akio tried to explain that he was defending this woman but they told him he still had to leave, so Akio turned around to leave.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She felt her hand become warm because of the hard, flat slap on someone's cheek. She felt furious still, how dare they, she never in her entire life got called out like that and her clothing actually showed nothing, her body suit just used lace and she did not feel like wearing a thick jacket already at this part of the year. She felt so furious and so helpless, with a quirk that suited her job fine, yet she never used it. She wanted to search for her phone, having dropped her right hand into the huge black bag, but did it matter? As soon as she would have called G, it would be too later, he couldn't teleport here or something, "Now if you..." But he wouldn't let her leave now, she could only see those three, no idea what was going on anymore or who they were, if they were actually trying to get a part of the tournament or if they were always like this. She tried to memorize how they looked, perhaps she could find them in the database later. It would be impossible to make a photo now, as she couldn't find her phone anyway. Just when she noticed that he, the one she hit, planned to hit her, she tried to avoid, she couldn't step backwards, she would fall off the stands and well she couldn't get out either. But there was someone out there who did care. She blinked in surprise when she stared at someone's back. She had to look up because he was especially tall compared to her and just so casually said that they would have to leave. She decided to stand perfectly clear, she could be so clumsy that she would either still fall off if she tried to look around him or even punch him so he would accidentally lose his balance, and many more things that clumsy Hana could do that she decided against it. She held her bag very close to her body, no one should see the white phone in there. She heard the guy she spoke to before come over and speak up, now she finally could see what was happening, she looked at the three guys that were running away, "Pff cowards." She mentioned under her breath, she tried to convince the official that this guy simply went for a help and that it was ridiculous that they were punishing him for helping, what kind of message would they want to bring around. She noticed how the tall boy walked away and she was furiously trying to arrange something, "This will be a bad note down in the papers." She said casually with a shrug and made her move to walk away, a simple wait would suffice and she got what she wanted. "Wait, young man." She called out now that she got what she wanted. "I didn't get time to thank you." MADE BY VEL OF GS

As Akio walked off the woman he protected called out to him, Akio stopped and turned to her "Oh I'm sorry, I completely forgot to ask, are you okay? They didn't hurt you before I got there or anything did they?" Akio asked as she came to a stop in front of him "Guys like that are assholes, don't pay too much attention to them," he said as he smiled to her. Just then one of the officials came up to them "Hey, look sorry about what happened before, if you can just wait for a little bit me and the other officials are discussing whether to allow you to continue playing," the official told him, Akio nodded "Sure I'll wait for a little bit," he said, the official nodded and went back to his colleagues to have the aforementioned discussion, Akio turned to the woman "Sorry to ask you this after what happened but, could you stay and talk a little bit? It'd be kind of awkward if I just stood here by myself this whole time," he asked her before realizing he was being kind of rude "My name's Akio, what's your name?" he asked her as he reached his hand out for a handshake

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away "Yes, I mean, I am fine thanks to you. Words don't make the cut to hurt me." She said with a faint smile, it was her motto, else she would not be able to do her job properly. She wanted to say that she definitely did not feel the need to pay attention to those pathetic kinds of guys, the thing was that they had given her attention and that had made it a bit difficult to ignore them as they barged upon her and made half a circle. She gave him a smile when he did, she wanted to say something about what she arranged but the official already came and she had nothing to say, it would not matter after all, as long as if got the spot back. What did it matter if it was her talking that had arranged it, she had found it fairer anyway. She should have said something more than just a bland threat but perhaps she would write this in her personal column as well, the one that had her name above it instead of her alias. She looked from the official to the boy and was rather satisfied, she looked at her bag to check the time on her regular phone when she heard the boy talk to her again and she looked up surprised. "Oh ehm.." She checked the time again, but she had time, "Sure." The article did not have to be handed in within minutes, so that was okay. She pushed her glasses back onto her nose and extended her hand as he introduced himself so she could shake it, which made her feel old. "Hanako, nice to meet you. Sorry for the trouble, I hope they allow you back into the game. You played very well." MADE BY VEL OF GS

Hanako said that she's fine thanks to him, Akio sighed with relief "I'm glad you're okay, nobody should have to deal with people like that," he said to her. When Akio asked her to stay she seemed to check the time but then agreed. She introduced herself as Hanako and apologized for the trouble and that she hoped they let him back in the game, she also complimented his game saying he played well "Ah thank you but, it's no trouble, I wouldn't be a very good future hero if I ignored somebody in help," he explained to her "Besides, I'm sure there will be other streetball tournaments, so I can just register in those, as long as I don't spot anyone in trouble at those," he said with a chuckle at the end "So, do you enjoy watching street basketball or were you just out for a stroll and decided to check it out?" he asked her "It can be pretty exciting and enticing to watch, I always love watching street basketball," he explained to her as he looked around for somewhere to sit down, if he was going to play again he wanted to rest his legs for a little bit, he spotted a nearby bench and sat down on it, patting the spot next to him indicating that Hanako should come and sit down

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away "It's a shame that some people think they have to give their opinion to everyone, even if the other person doesn't care." She said wisely, which was stupid as she gave her opinion about people in her Scandal blog, she might use her regular, new one, for the idiocy that was this organisation. She still could not believe that they would punish someone while he was doing something good. She raised her eyebrow as he answered that it was no trouble and he was a future hero. Interesting, she could make use of that, albeit she did not want to poke Miku about it, "future hero? You must be going to that new school around." She said with a smile and a curious look, she had always tried to find new information about it, mostly for herself instead of the paper. "They might need better security in that case." She said with a laugh as they spoke about trouble in a future tournament. "To be fair, I was just around the corner when I heard the noise and saw people mostly just coming and decided to indeed check it out. It is fun to see people enjoy something..." She wanted to say so simply, but that's not exactly what she meant with it, more like how simple it was to set up, "Nice that something can be set up so easily for people to enjoy?" Alright, she had no idea what happened behind the scenes of the organisation but it shouldn't be too difficult, "Does it happen often? I have never seen it before, but I live here for a year now. I mean, in Tokyo, obviously not the park." She couldn't help but add the last part and giggle a bit about it. She followed him to the nearby bench, as she had just said she would stay and went to sit down on the spot he indicated. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Hanako said it was a shame that people think they have to give their opinion to everyone, even if the other person doesn't care, Akio nodded "Some people are just clueless," he said with a slight shrug. When Akio mentioned he was a future hero she said that he must be going to the new school "Yep, first year at UA High, though I've still got a long way to go before I'm worthy of being called an actual hero," he told her. She said that if they have another tournament they need better security, Akio chuckled along with her "Yeah I guess they would, wouldn't they," he said as she started explaining she was around the corner and heard the noise and saw the crowds and decided to check it out, she also mentioned it was fun to see people enjoying something and that it's nice that something could be set up so eaily, Akio nodded "Yeah streetball is really awesome like that, it can really bring a community together, it's one of the reason I love the sport, all you need is a court, a ball and at least 1 other person and you can have a great time," he said to her. She asked if it happened often, mentioning that she's never seen it before "They do these tournaments occasionally but, there's always people playing at the courts, usually competitions are a lot more casual, just a couple of people getting together and playing," Akio explained as he looked at people playing on some spare courts that weren't being used for the tournament.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She nodded, at least someone seemed to understand. Then again she should shut her big mouth most of the time. She looked at her jumpsuit, was it that bad? She felt like it was actually quite neutral. She wanted to ask but as she looked at Akio, she realized he wasn't the right person to ask this. He would give her the polite answer, and who would say yes to the answer of: do I look like a whore? She took a deep breath, automatically but said nothing, it was not his concern and it wasn't her concern, she did not have to listen to such idiotic people. She had just said that anyway, so better believe her own words. She asked him about the school and nodded, "Well a good start is to have the right characteristics." She gave a smile, "So that is a good thing going on." She went to look on her phone yet again, the black one, not the white one, putting down a few notes for the column that she thought about writing in case of the things going wrong for her rescuer. "Sorry, have to write this down." She said it was considered rude, right, to be on your phone in a conversation. But she did answer the question about being in the neighbourhood before she went to look around. She looked up when he continued in the conversation and quickly checked the last word and dropped the phone back in her bag and turned back to Akio to listen. "Interesting and nice that it has possibilities." Strange how she had never seen it before, "I bet it's because I am definitely not fitting to ever play basketball." Apart from wearing heels, not being tall enough in her own eyes, it didn't help that she was super clumsy. She was doing quite okay right now for the whole idea. MADE BY VEL OF GS

When Akio said he still had a long way to go before he comes a hero Hana told him that a good start is having the right characteristics and that he has those characteristics, Akio smiled sheepishly "I just try to do the best I can, nothing special really," he said. As they were talking she looked down at her phone and started typing something, apologizing saying she needed to write this down, Akio shook his head "No it's alright, if you don't mind me asking, what are you writing though?" Akio asked a little curious what she'd be writing down. She said that streetball is interesting and has opportunities "Yeah, I've seen videos of experienced street ball players playing on par or even beating professional players, all Americans but still, amateur players beating professional basketball players? It's pretty impressive to me," he said, she then said that she's not fitting to ever play basketball "I mean anybody can play basketball in some form, even if they just have a bit of a shootaround and just take some practice shots, anyone can do that," he said with a bit of encouragement and it was true. You didn't necessarily have to be tall to play basketball, you could have fun playing it no matter who you were.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away "I think that is a great way of thinking though. You know some people just think themselves, what would be the right word, almighty, that's not really how I view a hero. My view of a hero is someone who tries the best they can." She looked at the people whispering and huddled together to make a decision about what to do with the tall boy next to her. She looked back at him with a small shrug, "It's no stardom to become a hero, I would say." It would be more considered the dirty work if it was up to her but she was no part of the government and shut out as much as anyone else from their decisions. She did not cover politics so perhaps it was a bit better for her colleagues.
Hanako quickly wrote down a couple of key-words for the article she had in mind for her own blog now that she was here and apologized shortly to Akio for being rude. She looked up shortly when he asked and continued typing, multitasking was easier now. "I write down a few words so I can make an article about this later, in case they do not allow you back in." She looked back up, "I work for the metropolitan." She said casually, he probably would have not heard about it, it was perhaps more of a female magazine, but you had exceptions or people that recognized covers very well. Perhaps she was going too far about the idea that they would not allow him in, that she would write an article but the fact that they did not support protection and only were for anti-violence was not entirely how the world worked anymore.
She stopped writing when she got most of the keywords, which was easy and turned to look at Akio as they continued their conversation about streetball."That is impressive." She nodded, it was a strange occurrence to her, how something would be considered professional and how something would not fall into that category yet those players could be better. "I assumed you are from around, Japan I mean." She said as he mentioned that the players he meant were all American. His height would be an exception for most of their culture but the mix and matches that the future had brought along made it easier for people to be taller than average and perhaps just as small as always, like her. She laughed at how he sold the game to her more or less, "I would first of all never reach the other side to be able to take a shot, I would have fallen perhaps twelve times." She said with a laugh, knowing how clumsy she was. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Hanako told him that she thinks that's a great way of thinking and that other heroes view themselves as almighty, but she feels a hero is someone who tries the best they can and that she thinks there's no stardom to becoming a hero "Stardom isn't a part of it but, I feel like engagement with the community and media can be a good thing, not for the fame or the glory, but to show the community that there's people out there looking out for them, so they can see a hero and recognize that they're there to help, you know what I mean?" he asked, hoping she understood what he was trying to say. She told him that she was writing down some notes so she could make an article about it later, in case he didn't get let back in and that she worked for the metropolitan, Akio took a second to think "The Metropolitan? The name sounds familiar but I don't think I've ever read it," he said trying to think if he'd read it before but gave up "Oh but, I don't think there's any need to release an article about it if they're just following the rules and doing their job, it's not that big of a deal, really," he said to her, he didn't feel like a whole article on it was necessary. She then said it was impressive how streetballers have beaten pro players and then asked if he was Japanese "Yep, full Japanese, I got the good genes to get my height," he said with a chuckle. When he said that anyone can play basketball, she said that she'd never be able to reach the other side to take a shot, she would've fallen about 12 times, Akio couldn't help but laugh "Yeah, I guess that would be a problem, wouldn't it?" he said "But I'm sure with a bit of practice, you could do it if you wanted," he told her with a smile
