feel the light shining in the dark of the night | “I'm not a big fan of preventative murder…” They wanted to kill Thunder, to make sure he couldn't hurt people again. While he agreed that they needed to stop him permanently, murder was a dark alley he wasn't willing to turn down.
“It's one thing to do what needs to be done when the time comes, or protect the lives of innocents, but plotting murder is still wrong.” He looked over at G, who seemed to almost seeth happily at the idea of killing thunder. He sighed and pulled the rest of the six pack out of the fridge, holding it by the empty ring, and sat the five beers down on the table.
“What makes us any better than them, if we're so happy to kill at a moments notice?” He looked over at Red Edge. Yeah he was young, but not much younger than himself. He acknowledged that he was ready to do what had to be done, but could Toma really let the kid become a killer?
“Plus…” He tossed his empty can in the trash under the table, sitting down as he grabbed another can from the ring. “If we kill him someone else will just take his place. And they will feel vindicated in the desire for revenge.”
“I don't think we need to kill Thunder.” He popped the tab on his beer and took a sip after he spoke. “I think we need to break his spirit. Crush him, but leave him alive, and in fear of what we might do if he steps foot into the streets again.”

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"I'm going to counter that, Sunhawk, with the fact that I don't intend on BEING better than them. The fact that Hero's, or even Vigilante's wont land the killing blow is probably a major factor he's banking on. I'm not asking that anyone else kill him if they don't want to cross that moral line, but as soon as I get my hands on him I will. I don't care if you all turn me in fr it, I don't care if I have to spend time in prison for killing a bastard like him. I will take that fall if it means ending him and the clan for good. " She stated firmly, looking back towards the other Vigilantes gathered there. Honestly... she was surprised that none of them jumped her yet for her big reveal... the only one to treat her like a villain, to an extent, was Sunhawk... and even that was tame. She was so used to the Kobayashi name bringing fear and hatred in people that this was... strange to her, and it definitely put her on edge. She was visibly tense, but perched herself back down n the sofa to try and remain calm, and make herself seem like less of a threat if she seemed like one at all...
"Look, Hell Bomber, I'm not saying that people aren't going to get hurt in the cross hairs, I'm just saying we need to be wary. We can't rush in. The longer we take and the more disorganized we look, the less suspicious he's going to be... oh, and don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of scuffles with him growing up~ Let's just say that there is a reason that my Concert outfits never have an open back. He's powerful... very powerful, and I haven't been able to take him down on my own... That's partially the reason I agreed to meet the rest of you." She clarified, putting her hooded mask back on, tucking her hair back into the costume once more. She felt much more comfortable talking about this as Lightning Strike, and not as Yuri... That was the name she had given herself, that was her identity away from the Kobayashi... She didn't want to mix the two if she didn't have to.
"Look, we need a solid plan... how do you expect to break the spirit of a man like that? What we need is more intel on him and the clan. I can give some details on what I've learned, but most of the major things like drug trade routes and drop offs have changed several times since I was back home. If we watch for a few key elements, we should be able to track down his hiding spot. Dad's always dealt with drugs... he'll get as many vulnerable people addicted as possible to increase his revenue, and he uses those addicted in his quirk enhancing experiments. He also deals in human trafficking most directly. He's got a few big shot allies, but I've never had the pleasure of meeting them, so I can't say who those are... If we can start by tracking the instances of these two things within the city, then we should start finding links to either him, or his allies. " She suggested as a bit of a follow up to Sunhawk's statement. Sure if they COULD break his spirit that would be great... but Thunder was the one who specialized in breaking people... she highly doubted he would be so easily broken...

G didnt like the idea how everyone got his message. He got the jist that everyone thinks he's a murder happy psycho. He had to fix this. "Oi. Hold the phone. Now give the phone to me. I am not saying I wanna kill Thunder because hardy har har. Im volunteering to kill him because I dont want any of you to be charged for murder and because I dont want any one of you to carry this burden" he said and looked at Sunhawk "I also agree with Lightning Girl. There is no reason with the guy. You cant keep him jailed nor you can break him. I know his kind. I have experience with those kind of people. Thunder needs to go down"
G as a Vigilante and even as an ex Villain saw many kinds of Villains. ThunderShock was not the type of guy who can be broken. Thunder was like him. The type to break other people. And the type to break people are either the unbreakable or the broken ones. No inbetween. Those that can be broken themselves are not the types that can break people
G was not good at conveying his opinions, but hoped that what he said now was enough for them to understand, that he doesnt wanna kil Thunder for the lolz, but becaue he has to. To keep his family safe and to save his fellow Vigilantes, because as far as G knew. He was the only blackened one. The only one with a criminal record

Sunhawk brought up a good point. Even though it was important to stop the villains, it was also important not to become one in the process. It was important to know the difference between wanting to kill and having no choice but to kill. It was that simple distinction that made the difference between a vigilante and a lawless killer. However, it seemed as though Lightning Strike did not care about that. She seemed determined to put a stop to Thunder at any cost, even if it meant crossing the moral line. In all honesty, Kenshin could not completely fault her for that. It wasn't like she necessarily enjoyed killing or wanted to do it for fun. She just understood that Thunder was highly dangerous and believed that keeping him alive would not end the troubles he caused. Sunhawk made a suggestion. Rather than kill Thunder, they should find a way to break his spirit. Kenshin liked this idea. It was far more preferable than having to spill blood. However, he doubted that such a thing would be easy, or even possible. The boy did not know anything about Thunder, so he had no idea if he was even a man who would break easily. The boy supposed that Lightning Strike would know better than anyone else in this room whether or not it was a possibility or not. Meanwhile, G gave his input. He wanted to be the one to kill Thunder, not because he enjoyed killing, but because he did not want the others to get their hands dirty and be charged for murder. He also said that people like Thunder were not the kind who could be broken or kept imprisoned. It seemed as though the only way to end his reign of terror was to end the villain's life. Kenshin frowned. The boy did not want any of the vigilantes to have to kill if it could be avoided. Why should G be the one to carry the burden? Why should anyone? "Well why should you have to kill him, G? Why would it be any better for you to have to carry that burden over the rest of us? I appreciate you not wanting the rest of us to have to get our hands dirty, but I don't want yours to have to get dirty either if it could be avoided." Kenshin knew nothing of G's past. For all he knew, maybe the man did kill in the past, and maybe that's why he felt like he needed to be the one to kill Thunder over the others. Still, the boy didn't like that. Even if G did kill in the past, that didn't mean that it was acceptable for him to get his hands dirtier. "I don't disagree with you. Thunder is definitely dangerous, and he needs to go down one way or another. But still, if killing him can't be avoided, I don't want you to think that you're obligated to kill him just so the rest of us don't have to." The boy sighed. This was just a complicated mess no matter what. Trying to get his mind off the subject of murder, Kenshin listened to Lightning Strike's suggestion of getting intel on Thunder and his clan. She explained that since he and his allies dealt with drugs and human trafficking, that's where they should focus on. It made sense. Find the serpent's tail, and then work their way up to the head. "Good idea, Lightning. If we follow the ants, they should be able to lead us to their colony, and then eventually their leader. We just need to think of a plan to follow and track the goons without being detected." Kenshin looked around the room, glancing at the other vigilantes. "Anyone got any ideas or suggestions on how to get that done?"@aster | Word count: 643

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | “There's my brother…” He scratched some of the stubble on his chin and pondered for a moment. “But I am not really sure where he is.” He felt like he had gotten close last week, but Itsuki had given him the slip. Toma had shown up to an empty warehouse, recently cleaned.
“I’m sure we could always just go out and look for a shady deal.” He stood up and tossed his beer can into the trash across the room. “Most everything leads to Thunder and even if it doesn’t we can get some bad people off the streets anyway.” For all his attempts to bust up gang members for information, everything turned up false or too little too late.
“Any of you guys have any intel we can work from?” He looked over at Lightning and G. “I know you keep your eyes peeled and ears to the ground G. Got anything good?” Frankly, he didn’t know how G got his intel. When they first met G was already at the scene of the Sports facility.
“If you guys need I can do some recon.” He picked up his helmet and fiddled with the straps before walking over to one of the lockers. “Besides…” He poped the padlock with a key, revealing a new and improved suit hung on a hook. “I’ve been looking for an excuse to break this in.”

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"i've got quite a bit of intel, actually. I just didn't exactly bring it with me because well, no offense but I don't trust any of you yet." Yuri admitted with a light shrug of her shoulders, standing back up to her feet though as she began to pace back and forth, bringing her hand up to her chin as she tried to think back on everything she had learned.
"I think the easiest place for us all to start searching would be the harbor. It's actually a pretty big hot spot for drug deals and QED distribution, which, don't ever touch that shit if you know what's good for you. Anyways. We won't get to thunder directly from there, but it's probably the best place for us to start." With that being said, Yuri would then go over all of the information she could think of. Listing off all of the smaller hotspots she knew of, telling everyone of the house she grew up in and the business that had once been conducted there, as well as a secondary hotspot she'd found that seemed to be a setup for human trafficking. They didn't exactly have a map for her to circle everything on, but with her intel, at least they had 3 major locations to start keeping an eye on.
"I think doing further recon on these locations would be good. They know to look out for me, so it's been a little harder for me to get the job done myself." She said in response to sunhawks offer to do some recon. She had to admit that having some help on board wouldn't be THAT bad... and even if she wasn't the one to kill her dad in the end, she supposed as long as the deed was done it didn't matter... right?
Then Sunhawk just had to go and show off his new Vigilante suit, to which Yuri couldn't help but smirk.
"Hot~"

G looked at Kenshin when he spoke to him. After the young Vigilante was done, G replied "Because Im already the blackened. I am dirty. Take that any way you want. But the least I can do is help you all and carry the burden. Though if miss Kobayashi here" he looks at LightningStrike "gets to Thunder first, then by all means. Have at thee"
G and Lightning were the ones who had no qualms with killing Thunder, it was just a question which of the two could do it first. If Lightning got to kill her dad, then all power to her. G didnt have beef with Thunder before, but as soon as Lightning told him about Haruuhi, well... he had one good reason to take down the guy permanently. It was an obligation as an ex Villain and as a daddy.
After that he once again let the others speak. Toma asked G and Lightning if the two had intel. "Well, unlike Lightning. My intel isnt some data or document. My intel is actually a person. I can tell youall where a Villain lives. And you can go and capture her and force her to work for us. Personally I cant arrest her or anything because she knows my real identity. If I take her down, she takes me with her. Buuut, if a bunch of other Vigilantes capture her. Well, I imagine she'll have no choice but comply. She can get in contact with Thunder, Im sure" G said
Meiko was his intel. His crazy stalker ex. G was placed in the Villain chat by Susumu... Big_Sister. He was alone and surrounded by Villains, he saw Thunder or... maybe Haruuhi... fry Susumu's laptop. Well... not with his eyes, but he saw the chaos in the chat. But now G wasnt in that chat anymore. But his ex was. Surely Meiko could contact Thunder with the use of chat. Maybe they can lure him somewhere? Take out two birds with one stone?

After listening to G's response, Kenshin just nodded and sighed. "Very well. I'll leave him to you two, then." There was no point in trying to argue, since it seemed that G had made up his mind. The boy just had to had faith in the man and hope that things would not go south if he did encounter Thunder. Same thing went for Lightning. Kenshin just listened as the other vigilantes began talking about intel, and if anyone here had any intel to share. Lightning apparently had some, but she did not bring it with her because she did not trust anyone here with that information. Kenshin could not exactly blame her. He too was hesitant to say that he could fully trust anyone here. It was only due to the premise of being able to be more effective at protecting the people and cleaning the streets of criminals as a team that the boy even considered ignoring his lone wolf tendencies to give this vigilante meeting a shot. After listening to the useful info Lightning shared with the group, Kenshin turned his attention to G and what he had to say. He suggested capturing the villain he knew and then interrogating her for information. Kenshin liked the idea. Of course, he doubted that she would talk so easily, but the other vigilantes could probably find a way to make her talk. Kenshin liked Lightning's and G's suggestions. Personally, he was fine with helping out with either the recon, the capturing of the villain G knew, or both. Kenshin felt a bit bad that he could not contribute ideas and suggestions as well. Still, his talents lay in battle, so that would be the boy's contribution to the group. Whether he would assist with the recon, the capture and interrogation of the villain, or both, Kenshin was ready to lend his blade to help the others. @aster | Word count: 317

feel the light shining in the dark of the night | “Well, we have a plan.” He looked around at the three as he started to take off his coat. As he pulled it off it lifted his dress shirt for a moment, revealing the 15 cm scar across his gut for a second. “We should probably do this in two groups if we can.” He grunted a little as he started to force his way into the legs of his suit, tucking his pants into the leather. “I’m quick so I’ll be part of the recon team…” He had managed to get in and started to zip himself up as he looked them up and down. He had no clue what quirks or skills Lightning or Red Edge had. He did know that G wasn’t really cut out for stealth, more of a cannonball than a sniper. He wondered if either of them could move around as quickly as he could.
“Which one of you is faster?” He asked both Kenshin and Yuri. “Cause I can probably get wherever we need to go fairly fast, but I don’t want to leave my partner behind.” He thought for a second and realized that only G knew what he could do too, that the three of them were probably a mystery to each other.
“You know… I don’t even know what the two of you can do.” He pointed out quizzically.

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"pfffft. Paper and Documents? It's way more then that G-man!" yuri defended, huffing as she crossed her arms and let G finish what he was saying. It looked like there was someone they might be able to capture and get to help them find Thundershock if they needed it, and that could be extremely useful. Her dad was smart, and he was never in the same place for too long... but if there was something that he was weak to, was the desire to have everything. He always occupied bigger buildings, mansions and the like where the man could show off his wealth and influence. It wouldn't have been the first time either that he had placed himself in plain site, taunting people to come at him. Although even if they did find him... his security was tough and deadly... It was usually built to keep out even a platoon of military soldiers out, quirk or not.
"Right, well if it's speed you're looking for Sunhawk, then I'm your girl! Dad's objective with having so many kids was to hopefully create one of us with a dual quirk strong enough to take over as head of the family. I just so happen to be one of the lucky two. Super Speed and Lightning Generation is going to bite that man in the ass. You think YOU can keep up with a real speedster with that suit?" She asked Sunhawk with a smirk now plastered on her face as she gained a bit more bravado now that she had the mask over her face once more.

"Right right. Sorry!" G said semi annoyed, he was amused by her huff and her puff and allowed the pop sensation of a Vigilante to talk, after all Toma asked her for her Quirk. G was eager to hear what she has to bring to the table. Lightning Generation and Super Speed. Interesting, although G's eye twitched when he heard that Thunder wanted as much kids as possible. Every part of that idea just bugged G. Actually, the fact that he adopted Haruuhi first, and then had this idol as his daughter was annoying. "How the hell does he have a kid and not me? I deserve a family, not him" G thinks to himself He shook his head to concrentrate and focus on the here and now. He didnt really comment out loud of Yuri's Quirk. Instead he looked at Kenshin. G met him at the park and the two fought against anti Quirk racists. It was just a matter if he should tell his Quirk to Yuri. Both Toma and Kenshin knew his Quirk. Only the speedster did not. G ultimatelly shrugged and decided to show her his Quirk some other time. He wasnt in a chatty mood anymore.

So it seemed as though the plan was decided. The vigilantes would split into two teams, each team going to take on one of the two objectives. Sunhawk volunteered to be part of the recon team. He then asked Lightning and Kenshin which of the two was faster, so he would not have to worry about leaving his partner behind. He also did not know what the two could do. Lightning spoke up first, saying that she was fast. However, Kenshin did not hear her say how fast she could go. Because of this, Kenshin could not tell if she was faster than him or not. In addition to speed, she could also generate lightning. Of course her alias of Lightning Strike was very fitting given her abilities. Kenshin then spoke up. "Hey Lightning, you say you're fast, but could you tell us how fast? I can be pretty quick too, so I want to know which of us is faster." He then turned to face Sunhawk. "And to answer your question, I feel like simply explaining my quirk doesn't do it justice. Instead, let me show you why I'm called Red Edge."Transform! With a simple thought, Kenshin activated his quirk. The green lines covered his body, crisscrossing to form a grid. On top of this grid, his armor began to materialize. The hard red part of the armor, the black and purple leather-like portion of his armor, the emblems on his chest and back of his hands, the black sunglasses-like visor, and the white hair-like cape all fully materialized. Once his transformation was complete, Kenshin dashed to the opposite wall and then dashed back to his original spot to show the others just how fast he could move. "I'm sorry if it looks like I'm showing off. I promise that that's not my intention. But yeah, this is what my quirk allows me to do. I gain armor, I dash about as fast as a moped, and of course, I can do this." Extending his left arm, Kenshin focused on it. His hand then transformed into his signature red blade of hard light. Of course, Kenshin made sure that the blade was pointing away from the others. "And now you know why my alias is Red Edge, as well as why I don't bother wearing a proper costume or outfit."Not seeing any reason to stay transformed, Kenshin used his non-sword hand to press the emblem on his chest. Immediately after doing so, his armor dematerialized, reverting his appearance back to normal. "Sunhawk, it's up to you whether you want me or Lightning to join you in recon. I don't mind being a part of either team. Wherever you need me, I'll gladly go." Kenshin did not mind either way, so he would let the others decide who would do what. At the end of the day, he would gladly assist whichever vigilante was paired with him. Whatever the mission was, Kenshin would do his best to make their plans succeed. Failure was not an option. @aster | Word count: 508
