at most I'm sleeping all these demons away How dangerous is a situation when you are at the wrong place at the wrong time. And most of all, the reason Hanako was here, was originally not even on work business, the Lady Scandal was just here to fix the arrays of businesses that she had to attend simply and only to make a sort of advertisement for her own column, which would be posted not every day or well yes it would be but her Gossip Column would get a different fitting theme within the metropolitan. There had been an invitation for high people in society to come and talk at a literary affair, her boss was here, some higher reporters that she disliked, some guy from the new car brand and many more with special names. Metropolitan tried to sell itself to those sort of people, by trying to get their investment into their magazine. She was just away to powder her nose as there were photographers who would take pictures of her as she was selling her own column as well. The thing was that the toilet on the upper floors were so busy that she had gone two floors down to make sure she had same some space to breathe. That's when the floor started to shake and she looked up as some of the ceilings came crumbling down. She heard females screaming and guys yelling. She quickly ran towards the stairs that she used but people were coming down, "What's going on?" She yelled at someone, who shook her head and ran down, idiots that were waiting for the elevator while the alarm was going off. This building was used by so many high people, you only had to know that and this was only one thing that Hanako could realize. If the floor was shaking but only at the higher levels, there was no such thing as an earthquake, this came from higher up. She tried to make her way upstairs but her boss pulled her down, which is very annoying, walking backwards. "What's going on?" She yelled at him and he told her that some huge guy had jumped onto the building like some sort of modern king kong and that he was after some of the higher guys. That's when he let her go, "This is a great story, go on." Oh, wonderful, now she had to go upstairs. But she wanted to know how this quirk worked and thus she tried, now finally most people were gone and she looked around the doorpost, she noticed some people being trapped and just at that point, King Kong noticed her, it must be a mutation like a gorilla and her boss had not been far off, but he hit the pillar next to him, which collapsed the ceiling and thus Hanako. She could step back but was now stuck between beams and pieces of the ceiling. He came towards her, shit, in a year, this never happened! MADE BY VEL OF GS

Tai didn't like to think of what he was doing as patrolling, even if it was. It sounded too proper, too heroic. Heidi would have loved to spin that, so naturally he hadn't told her about this. Patrolling was a simple and easy task, he didn't take any preparations to do it. No funky gadgets or clothes, he looked like just a regular guy in the street. Aside from the over-sized pair of ventilated jet arms he had; he looked a little less than normal when it came to his literal appearance. He wore a white sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and a comfortable pair of black work boots.
Now Tai had no idea of knowing what was going on inside this building today; simply put, he was a humble mechanic most of the time. A crude man that lacked refinement and finesse. Not the kind of guy who would ever be invited to a place where the people had work parties; not unless he was driving someone else there. He wasn't even a fan of those types of parties, let alone the people. But fate had a funny way of sending an invitation.
A loud thud could be heard, enough to shake up parts of the nearby building. This probably meant one of two things, there was an earthquake or the building was collapsing. His money would have been on the earthquake, but considering he didn't feel a thing... option one was sort of off the table.
So, is it coming down or what? he thought, realizing he might be the only person close enough to respond. He wasn't really the rescue type, but blah, blah, responsibility, blah. Someone had to do something. The ensuing screams though, those were more than enough to kick him into gear.
He dashed towards the building, pushing passed the onlookers. "Move it. Out of the way. Coming through." Tai said, having a phrase for each individual.
Reaching the doors, people were already evacuating. No time. Looks like I'm taking the express route, he thought as he ran directly for the wall. His back turbines powered on and he bolted up the side of the building in a mad dash to reach the commotion inside. There were comments, but they were feint and quickly left behind during his ascension. His boosters weren't good enough to get him the whole way, but with the help of his arms pulling himself up on the ledges of windows - he could make it in due time.
JACKPOT. Tai thought, looking through the window. No, it wasn't an earthquake or a collapsing building. It was a one hundred percent, genuine villain. This was even better than a collapsing building, not that he wanted it to crumble or anything. He wasted no time and busted through the window. Now, that would probably cost someone money. Tai didn't have that much, so if they ever caught up to him... he would leave whoever an I.O.U.
Inside, Tai landed on his hands and feet. The glass on the floor hadn't harmed him, his armored carapace protected him from the shards. Seeing a woman on the ground, Tai dashed forward and prepared an explosive blast with his right hand - aiming to push back the gorilla-like man. With the monkey quirker pushed away, smoke rose off of Tai's arm. He looked to the blonde woman who was trapped in the corner and spoke to her "Just in time. You all right, lady? Maybe consider clearing out. It might get a little ugly."
By now, she might have realized that Tai wasn't a hero. No special attire, he wasn't even taking many measures to care for the people in danger. Just a good Samaritan beating up a bad guy. A Vigilante.
His focus shifted back to the big, bad ape. Tai rotated his arm, preparing for a fight and started to speak. "And here I thought it was going to be a boring day," he stated loud enough for his opponent to hear.

Put on your War Paint How she always got in situations like this over the past year was beyond her. It was perhaps her obsession with quirks but to be bullied in this to be able to write her column, mostly her boss wanted to have this as an article, but she did not write articles and the rest of the people were gone, they fled the building. Which made a lot of sense now that she realized how fragile this building was with a gorilla like that around. He had destroyed a pillar which had an effect on the pillar where she had stood next to. She couldn't help at that moment to let out a yelp and hunch down on her red heels and protecting her head with her hands. Which would definitely not help but miraculously, she was only locked in instead of actually being harmed. Yes, some minor scratches but that was something she would survive and her glasses were okay as well. How many seconds would it need? She counted, her ice blue eyes staring at the being that was on its way towards her. Strange how such a thing could actually be a human. How would it function as a human, think, and change, those mutations were amazing but she wasn't entirely glad about it right now. nineteen. twenty, please let someone come now, she did not want to be gorilla bait or something. She had not watched that old 'classic' movie, she did not agree with the classic title. Wasn't that woman blonde as well? Was she wearing a soft yellow gala dress like Hanako or would this be an example of a new movie? Why did he only pay attention to her, why couldn't she reach her phone, would there be a database for quirk users because she sure as hell would make one, only to make sure the police would be able to find assault people faster! That's when she as well as Gorilla were distracted by the sound of breaking glass and she turned to look at a window which came out on the hallway like where she was, but the room where the mutation was, was directly visible and next to her. "I can try." She answered because if that thing would be distracted by another quirker, she could try to climb out of this construction of demolished stuff. That would be not so difficult if nothing would come falling again. She stood up now and dusted off her dress, which was ridiculous for such a situation but tried to pry her way out, she wasn't the fastest as she tried to get glimpses of the fight that was happening, she even managed to get her phone and tried to get some pictures. Yay for good camera quality, the reason she bought this phone. But she had to get out too, she looked up at the ceiling. If he would hit another pilar or either would be pushed against a wall or something, the ceiling might come down too. The floor looked the most solid. She had to hurry! MADE BY VEL OF GS

Given a little bit of freedom now, Tai had to figure out what to do with this guy. If modern action movies taught him anything, it was that big and strong was always difficult to deal with. Having an indoor fight between a giant and a man with explosive cannon arms was probably a bad idea, considering the both the property damage and the flimsiness of this building. That gorilla mutation quirk was enough to take these pillars down. A fight in here could make this whole building collapse. Tai thought, gritting his teeth while the blonde woman tried to steer clear.
But, was Tai going to try and do the smart thing? Maybe take battle someplace else and keep the building from collapsing on them? No, of course he wasn't. Wasting no time, he dashed in - arms spread on either side of him, locked-on and loaded. "So, big guy... do you speak?!" Tai asked, the stress in his voice apparent as he brought a hand forward - releasing the tension created from the explosion released from his right palm. His right arm bounced back from the recoil and the smoke cleared, the same trick wouldn't work twice. The big guy braced himself for the low-quality blast and struck back at Tai's left side.
Tai rose his arm to block, but the sheer power wasn't enough to protect him from beastly man. He was knocked straight off his feet, given a solid left hook that sent him to a wall on his right. "Not much of a talker... got it." Tai said, pushing himself off the floor while looking at the dent put into the plaster of the wall. If it weren't for his chassis, he would probably have a lot more injuries; but, he still hated it. Guess I'm not throwing down with him, thought Tai. He looked to the window and considered trying to push him out, but he couldn't; people were out there. It was too risky, and he didn't want to be around for the aftermath of this.
His breathing was heavy, but the other guys was heavier. WAY more intimidating. No time to breath, he braced himself at the ape man's fast approach. Raising his arms up, he grinned and mustered up what he could. A rapid series of blasts formed in rapid succession. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. None of them even hit the big guy, but they weren't supposed to. Meeting his punch head on, he got socked in in his armored stomach. He swore he heard the ape say something, what it was - he didn't know. Tai knelt over in pain, having set him up.
The floor was about to give way and he was really just hoping nobody was down there. With a grin he gave it one last blast and the floor collapsed dragging both of them down. "You really gotta be where I'm standing." Tai explained, and the big guy rushed over and fell through the hole. Not before grabbing Tai's leg though. "Oh shiiiiiiiiiiii-" he yelled, going down with him. Tai landed on top of the ape-like guy and their combined weight collapsed the next floor. Both yelled some more.
Finally slapping against the next floor, it hadn't given way. Tai was exhausted already, he didn't quite know what floor he was on. The ape man was down for the count, probably thanks to cushioning his fall. Tai rolled over and tried to sit up, too exhausted. He absolutely needed to get up, before he was caught. He looked to his right and punched the guy, getting a grunt from him. "This is all your f*cking fault."
Tai sighed and tried to sit up slowly. Not bad... that went by pretty quick. What a fast response time. Yeah. Tai thought, trying to get his breath back.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away It wasn'tgood to be distracted about something so peculiar next to her. Sure it was something she had been told to do by her boss but she had to save herself first, right? What kind of civilian would you be if you stood in the way of the people who were trying to fight? A very rude one, for starters. She finally managed to push one of the larger pillar parts aside so she could step out of her made up cell, by going side wards. That's when she heard a new loud bump and the parts around her started to shake again. She looked up, trying to avoid the dust falling in her face and followed the crack that started to spread over the ceiling. This was the top floor, so it probably would hold, right? No building would be made so fragile that the roof would fall down after the splintering of what? Three pillars and a wall? She managed to get to the side again a bit more and looked around the corner, staring at the dent in the wall. She duck behind the pillar that was still standing on one of the sides of the door post and shook her head. Really, was everyone so violent. Perhaps she should note things down before she would forget in her adrenaline and rushed moment. She quickly took a picture of the dent in the wall and thought about texting herself something but instead she heard more noise and her curiousity would be harmed if she did not just look around the corner, but would quickly and then perhaps run downstairs. Her phone went off, thank god it was on silence but she looked into her bag and noticed the white phone had dozend of messages on it, all from the building she was in. Great, no good idea to just step out of it now or look through the window. Her other phone was buzzing and showed the number of her boss and the title: b-idiot. Which meant boss-idiot, very simple but effective enough for Hanako. She blocked it and turned to look at all the noise from the room. Seeing the last part of collapsing and the last blased that her hero was making, she quickly took a picture, probably too late for the effect and she would have cursed was it not that the floor shook, and clumsy Hana fell on her butt, in her creamy coloured dress and she stared at how the two disappeared in front of her. She shuffled towards the hole in the ground and narrowed her eyes, she pushed her glasses back up and hold them, to make sure they would not fall in there, because that would be shitty. "Are you alright?" She yelled to the person she believed, she could see moving. This looked weird, she had quickly taken a picture before she decided to yell and put her phone back in. She actually had to admit, she was afraid she would fall, as she was quite a kluntz and the idea of walking down the stairs was a bit scary too if the building was like this. Perhaps she should wait for fireworkers or so. But right, let's just start here, she thought, this was fun for an article. At this point, she was the only one left on the upper floor. Am I alright? Am I alright? Tai thought, just barely sitting up. "No. No, I'm not alright. I just fell through the floor," he crassly replied. He touched his legs, it felt like everything was in place but boy was he going to feel this in the morning. He was going to have to figure out how to explain these unexpected scrapes, cuts and bruises to his family and assistant, Kyoko. He was pretty sure that saying 'I was mugged' wouldn't fly.
"Geez, not even going to help me up? The nerve of some people." Tai muttered quietly enough for the strange woman not to hear. He was disappointed that he went out of his way to help her and didn't even get a thank you. It wasn't really necessary - Tai would have done this anyway, but it would have been nice. He pushed himself off the ground and looked around the room, stretching. He heard a snap and a pop, Tai had to get the kinks out. Better wrap this guy up. Tai thought, walking over to some loose telephone wire.
"Hey! You!" He yelled up to the floor above. "Yeah, you!" he repeated and pointed at her casually, just in case. "Get down here and help me tie this guy up," Tai commanded. He wasn't out here putting bad guys down just for them to get away before the authorities arrived.
"Hurry it up before this guy gets back up" he rushed, yanking the wire from the wall and pulling on it to tear it from the wall. Sure, it was causing more damage - the sound of plaster and wood crashing against the floor echoed, but it was all for a good purpose. Making sure this guy didn't go bananas again was priority one. Starting from the feet, Tai knotted the wires and started wrapping them upwards. Somehow the guy seemed bigger than before, probably because he had to go through the trouble of restraining him. Tai was already sweating from the work and aching from the fight. Oh, that's right. Now I remember why I prefer working at the shop.
This whole process would take longer if she didn't join in to help. He was hoping she was on her way down from the floor above, but he didn't have the time to wait around for her. Tai would need to move fast if he was going to get out of here without accruing a bill. Nonetheless, it probably wasn't right to take out his frustrations on the lady. He was just having a bad day, but he wasn't apologizing for a thing if he didn't have to.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She felt a twitch in her eye thanks to sarcastic reply that he made. No kidding! But it could have been worse, he was at least not below the Gorilla, imagine that heavy shit coming upon you. She rolled her eyes and looked down, two floors, seriously how the hell did they do this and she felt a small shake go through the building, they better hurry up and get out of her before it would collapse if it did not plan to do that already. "If you complain about not getting a thank you, I wasn't there yet. I was first worried if you were okay!" She said offended for he muttered something without looking at her, and a gossip column girl knew very well that it would be something about her or something she probably did not do yet, and this was her best guess. Cocky wasn't he. She crossed her arms in front of her body, and simply looked at him, well what did he want her to do right now? She rather just go downstairs and get out. Even if she was highly interested in quirks, there was something about being in a building that wasn't saved. She was about to walk away from the edge to just walk downstairs and see him again, when she heard a hey you... Which definitely did not make her happier. "What?" She yelled back and walked back to the edge to look him pointing at her, how rude. Did those guys have no manners? "You could have asked nicely." She mumbled and now she was sure it was some stupid whiny behaviour about not getting a thank you. She tried to be as fast as her heels could carry her to the stairs. And as careful as the clumsy Hanako could be to get down the stairs, she would have to pay for this dress dearly now that it was dirty and she would possibly... she heard a horrible sound... rip it. It was only around the back of her left ankle, where she had stood upon it with the point of her heel and thus ripped it. She shook her head and hurried up, she would complain to her boss and demand a new one. She at least gave him three pieces in Metropolitan and he would be the only one as she was the only one here. Apart from him, but with a mouth like that, he would possibly not be a writer. She couldn't wait to Scandal this issue. She was soon enough down and looked around, "Just hit him again on the head if he wakes up again." She said as she had heard it but was not near to answer him without yelling. She looked around to find another piece of wire, a cable from something she did not know and took it towards him, "You need more?"Were was this police officer coming from and why did it take so long? Ugh, I guess she heard that, Tai thought sighing. But it was clear to him at this point that he knew his way around the ladies. What the secret was... well, he didn't quite know himself. The sheer influx of women he was meeting lately was overwhelming. Maybe it was his whole, being a jerk thing. He might have been a jerk, but he was trying to be a good guy. For that reason and that reason alone, he responded with an apology.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I guess it's just the adrenaline," he responded, making up an excuse to save face. He stretched out his back, feeling an uncomfortable knot in it from the fall. He took the time to get a better look at the woman. She was a bit on the short side, at least in comparison to himself. A fellow blonde, her eyes were very different from his own - that was to say, very normal. "I could have asked nicely, but I'm sort of pressed for time here." he added, noticing that she was not only wearing a dress, but that it was torn on the lower portion.
He raised an eyebrow curiously at her suggestion. "Do you plan on being the one that hits him? Because go right ahead if he wakes up" he added with a pinch of sarcasm. This guy was big, too big for even Tai to want to deal with. While he had the armored chest and arms, attacks from a guy like this hurt like hell. Let alone the fact that he couldn't think of any way to make him feel any of his own punches.
"No, that should be fine." Grabbing the wire, he stood on the opposite side of the perpetrator and was tying him up from the top down. He had to support the weight of his heavy top half to get the wire around him, but he secured it enough that hopefully it wouldn't snap from his sheer strength. If it did, it certainly wasn't Tai's problem if he was gone. Fortunately, he heard the sirens outside - finally, the authorities arrived. That was Tai's queue to get the hell out of here; he knew full well they would probably hold him partially responsible for this mess.
"Hey," Tai called for her attention again. "Thanks." There were two things Tai wasn't particularly good with, thanking people and apologizing. She managed to get both today and while she didn't know it, she could count herself among the lucky ones. "But we should really consider getting out of here. Like now." Tai commented, patting his hands on his jeans and massaging the back of his neck.
"They're going to come up here and look for people to blame. We shouldn't be here when they arrive." Tai pointed towards the dust cluttered windows, the lights were flashing and the people outside were mobilizing. "I know, I know. You're innocent in all this, but you helped me tie him up and that makes you a part of this. I don't wanna take any chances. So, we should probably bail - ummm, what's your name?" Tai shrugged, not knowing what to call her.
He signaled her over and started walking towards the back windows, away from the entrance and the commotion. He kicked it out and he looked down, knowing exactly which way he was planning to get out. This was the new emergency exit and he was offering her a ride.

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She lifted up her eyebrow and looked away from the gaping hole in the floor, she had made a good guess, pff, ridiculous, heroes lately. This moment her fingers were itching to grab her phone and post something on her blog but that was not the time and place, she had to carefully calculate words without being busted it was her. She should save herself as well and thank him later but right now she was wondering what she could do, which was something she considered as in going downstairs, it didn't help to stand here and stare. She had to walk back as he yelled at her again, she rolled her eyes and had simply stated that he could have asked nicely. "Cleary he has no way with words." She muttered to herself as she made her way downstairs as quick as she could on her high heels, the dress was already torn anyway, what did it matter now. When she arrived two floors down, she suggested to just hit the gorilla again on his head when he showed a sign of waking up but now that this guy pointed out that it might be an issue or that she should do it, she stared at the giant of a quirk user, for her everyone was quite tall with her short figure, apart from the high heels that made her a bit taller, she would never get too far. "I wouldn't mind to hit him if it works is the second question." She tried to say airy, that might be better in this, what did he call it? adrenaline moment. Besides, he was probably the one that would understand it better, considering her quirk, his potential quirk, what she had named in her mind and well his job perhaps? She did not recognize him and she had been figuring things out for quite a while now, it was a tough job being a reporter about people who were mildly working with their quirks. This reminded her to hit her boss, "I just keep that slap for my boss, you know, for leaving me behind." She said and she stared still at the gorilla man, what kind of quirk was this, it must be a transformation or a mutation, but if it was the latter, shouldn't they have heard about a gorillaman more often? She decided to look for another piece of wire and when she did, she watched how well her rescuer worked on the idea of tying the gorilla down. She hunched down on her heels, she was getting a tiny bit tired and stared at the work, she couldn't offer help, she wouldn't be strong enough and would only become a hindrance. She wanted to poke this gorilla to see if anything would happen but she better not and looked up when she heard a hey, being the only other person in this room, it must be for her. She was very surprised about his thanks, "I mean, I should thank you. I don't know what King Kong would have done, perhaps throw me off the building." What did he actually do in the classic movie? From like a zillion years old. "We?" She shook her head, okay this never did happen, she was an innocent, he tried to like what, do something to her and this guy saved her and now they had to flee? Like a headless chicken she followed him and only nodded, new adventures for Hanako, she wasn't a fan yet. "ehm, Hanako." She said surprised about the random question. She did not understand why they were walking to the back of the building, they were at least nine more floors up and that was a guess as she didn't calculate that right here right now. "How do you want to go out?" She asked softly and unsure as he kicked out the window, should she tell him that she was such a clumsy person that she could fall over her own two feet, maybe that convinced him that she should stay.
