"KILL KILL KILL." The voice rang in her mind as she looked up to the honey flavored rain. Her eyes closed as she opened wide to take in the treat. The military were so nice, so friendly. Kasey was in her own bliss, enjoying that what was given to her. She did not read yet, but she would not yet begin to fathom what she was really subjecting herself to. "THEY ARE IMPURE. WE MUST KILL THEM." The voice of him echoed, yelling within the mind of the girl, held behind the fact she had not yet called upon his borrowed power. But looking forward, she would find her foolishness, as well as her answer. Looking to her side, she saw the woman screaming, only to toss the table aside. "Oh, the snacks..." Kasey said softly, watching them all fall onto the ground. They were no longer well, having being tainted with the ground, the material she would step upon under her feet. They were trash, beneath her, no longer fit. "KILL THEM ALL.""No no, Suki. If we're going to kill anyone, it's the one responsible." she replied in thought, the spirit within her growing reckless, insane, all a bit too fast for anyone, even Kasey to process. With a smile, her face and hair soaked, she had decided their fate. "Subject x-Three-Thirty, has to die. Heroes are unfit to kill." she said aloud, beginning to read over the board before trying to decide which way to walk. "Unfortunately, for them, I'm no such hero." A smile would be painted on the girl's face, paying no mind to the mad woman beside her. She was going to get her hands dirty, and was going to make sure no hero in the making would taint their own name in the process. By her hands, she would deliver the final blow, and by her hands she would wash them in blood. "Someone should call the janitor to clean up this mess." "I'm an army of one," she would say, from her wrist, a long bone would extend, piercing the fabric around her hands, the material cleaning the bone of blood as it soaked up the additional liquid. A straight sword, no more than a meter long would be drawn, cast from her hands. "I'll go for the quirk user." She called out, announcing for all to hear. She was someone pretending to be a hero, would anyone expect something else from the woman in her costume. "Come with me then." She would say, addressed to the white haired boy who was better at making a mess than cleaning it. Crimes of negligence are a thing when you work with children, you know. With children. With children. She was putting them in danger again. She needed to protect them. She had to. It was her job. But she wasn't the school janitor, not today. She was suspended, pushed aside. She needed the money to pay for everything it was why she had even bothered to take the job to recon. And here was she, putting them all at risk again. "I'll protect them. The best way to protect them, is to go to them head on." she thought to herself. "I have to protect the students. I have to kill them all, so none of them have to... I have to eat all of them." In her mind, was a battle between a demon, and a spirit. A girl and a skeleton. Morals and laws. She had made her choice, but it had still felt so wrong. "SATO HAS TO DIE. EVERYONE HAS TO DIE.""We were the last of his subjects. He stopped after us, after it was all over. This isn't his doing, Setsu. This is the military. This subject has no chance at redemption. The life of one, must end, so the lives of many may continue." but she wasn't thinking about the experiment. No, she was thinking about herself. ~ Word Count: 661 ~ |

WORD COUNT; TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy The two groups had been formed. The individuals joining either side, would have to part with the other half. Perhaps they would see each other again just around the corner, well and fine, having achieved their given objective. Perhaps this was the last time that they would see each other. The hand of fate had been forced to move, and now the consequences were unravelling around them. The drug was beginning to take it's effect. Though it was a stronger version of the original QED, it's effects could be very different between individuals. Some, like Kutsu, seemed to react very strongly, very quickly. Perhaps the quirk within his body absorbed the drug quicker. Perhaps he was simply weak. For most, the first effects of the drug was a strange, itching sensation at the roots of their hair. It had an OCD like effect, where the individual was consistently compelled to scratch the itch. Upon the first attempt, the trippy nature of the quirk also revealed itself. Rather than simply scratching their scalps, it would feel as if their fingers passed straight through the skull, allowing them to scratch their own brains. A sensation that was pleasant, inherently, making most people want to scratch more - to the point where prior test subjects had scratched their own hair off, leaving their scalp bloodied after too long had passed. The two groups would find the exits fairly easy to open; It was simply time consuming. The zippers to the tent were fairly easy to get open, but there were three layers. It begged the question, how had the seargent disappeared in so quick a fashion?.. In the back, the civillians were clumped together in fear. Two younger reporters however, seemed capable of maintaining their cool. A female and a male. Jeanne and Abel Emeriss. A pair of siblings which had come to Japan from France in the pursuit of the truth behind heroes, villains, quirks and everything inbetween. The girl, Jeanne, had chosen to follow one of the students. Naoru. There was something about him which made her feel safe. Appearance wise, the girl was in her late teens, perhaps early twenties. Gazing at her, it was almost arguable that she hid her true face behind a layer of make-up.Abel Emeriss was, like his sister, in his early twenties. Tall as a tower, built rather densely, he seemed to be in physical excellent shape. At his feet, he had placed down the large camera, favoring something smaller to manuver with. Where his sister had chosen to follow Naoru, Abel decided to follow behind Kutsu. Perhaps because this boy screamed that he needed someone calm and collected to keep things in check. A voice of reason; An older brother. Either case, the two of them introduced themselves in a chorus;"We are the Emeriss Twins, here to tell your story. Nothing will keep us from the truth, and we will help you as best we can!" "We are the Emeriss Twins, here to tell your story. Nothing will keep us from the truth, and we will help you as best we can!" Feel free to write your exits from this place. The new threads will be up sometime today or tomorrow. The links will be edited into this post, and tags will go out. Teams are:
Antidote: Robin, Kutsu, Ryuusei. Subject X320: Naoru, Kasey, Luzia,Kogami.

“Why’re you eating that stuff when we have all this–”
“No fucking way. Guys, check it! Hops is alive!”
“Look, he’s talking!”
Words spoken dull and flat through the wall in his mind and around his heart, barely registered and ignored. Mouthfuls of food – he swallows, breathes, downs water with only a sip or two, like a professional eater.
“Yeah, we won’t die. Okay. Okay okay okay, okay.”
And he stands, wipes the wet from his mouth on a long sleeve. The fabric goes dark and wet in a streak, a line connecting wrist to elbow. Shaking eyes, shaking resolve – gaze drifts to Kutsu playing with toys, playing pretend. Hops is gripped and moved in a parody of puppetry, and Robin flinches in his heart, lets eyes scream wide and pupils shrink thin.
‘He’s lost it,’ he thinks, ‘or did he ever have it? Is it a hallucinogen?’
Twitching, flitting insect-like to the others.
‘And how long do they have? Fucking Christ, how long do I have?’
“Yeah, yeah, okay.”
He breathes, hot and heavy, shuts his eyes and slows his heart, his lungs, his thoughts.
It’s a tournament set, he reminds himself.
‘Partition your mind and your heart. They don’t belong together here.’
“I’ll get the antidote,” he phrases it carefully, gestures vaguely to Kogami, “and I’ll figure out a way to distribute it, so I’ll trust you with the quirker.”
The space comes into focus, colors bright and edges straight – hyper awareness, adrenaline that slows time and makes sight sharp. Kutsu ignored until a hand meets his shoulder, when Robin snaps and slaps it away with a flat palm and a tight grip.
“Don’t touch me.” Words sharp as his glare for only a moment, though they’re quick to soften along with his grip. Softer now, he clarifies, lets his hold on the other boy go loose.
“You’ll get burned,” he lies.
The two trot now, leave the tent – with too much struggle, Robin tries to melt through the reinforced fabric before deciding the zipper is faster after all. All the while, he explains, conceals and swallows the knot in his throat. “The antidote is our objective. Forget your gods and mortals trash, because we’re all at risk. Hold onto your mind for as long as possible.”
The zipper comes open, Robin heats a hand to a soft burn and pulls Kutsu off yet again through gritted teeth and a glare. “I told you don’t touch me.”
“Naoru is fine. He’s chasing the other objective. I’ve been in the combat area almost all week. I know where we’re going. Just follow me.”
Cold despite his warnings of heat.
WORD COUNT: 441 NOTES: He's speaking directly to Naoru and Kutsu, but anyone in hearing distance is basically being addressed.
