HISTORY
Kogami comes from a rather average family, they do their best to put food on the table and tend to have menial quirks. His father is a stay at home dad most of the time, with his mother working for a hero representation union that specializes in negotiating contracts with the city to allow things like health care benefits and even a retirement plan after great service to the city. Of course, it would be for the heroes that at the very top, but she still has pride in her work to assist the people who never get to be heard.
With these two parents, Kogami would mostly hang out with his dad at home and watch wrestling from time to time, having a consistent father-son relationship. When his quirk manifested at four, he didn't really understand much about it, so he considered himself to be average like his parents as well. Even if that was the case, Kogami still believed he could live a good life. What he would do to pass the time is read comic old school comic books, as well as play basketball for his school due to his abnormal height for his age.
Basketball was something he was especially interested in, his size brought him in the forward position or being a center. However, one altercation during a game, while he was blocking a shot, caused an injury to another player, almost crushing the other under the pure force that was behind him. Kogami felt guilty and thought he was cheating, he considered himself dangerous due to the fact that he somewhat neglected to care a lot about his quirk and may have been subconsciously using it during basketball, which could be why he liked the sport so much.
As much as he loved to play for the team, he took responsibility by saying that he wanted to go to a place that could help him get a handle on this and took interest in going into a school for heroes instead.

Quirk
Line Of Sight
Type: (Emitter)
Rank: (C-Rank)
Effect: (Line of Sight is an interesting emitter quirk that involves the extension of reach beyond what you can physically touch by the three acts of grasping, pushing, and pulling. The concussive force can transpire both to a physical sense physically grasping and pulling on something with great force, as well as transferring that physical force into the air by grabbing the air and pushing off of it and many other applications involving the three acts. Balls of air can also be grasped and compressed with plenty of uses like for example, projectiles and dunking it on people. Kogami can either push and pull on air from within his quirk's range to create a strong current to suck things towards him or a blast of air which has the same strength of his quirk's weight handling. More possibilities can be realized with the growth of what Kogami is capable of grasping, pushing, and interacting with. The greatest damage he can do with this Quirk at this time is damage iron. )
Drawback: (One of the drawbacks/limitations is that he can only interact with what he can perceive or knowingly know he can interact with. If it's not actually within his line of sight or even within his understanding, Kogami would be unable to interact with it. Another restriction is the fact that the same movements/motions would have to be done even if he's not physically touching them. There is also a distance limit depending on the rank of the quirk, with it being 30 meters at C-rank, the weight limits is two times the max weight that an Olympic weightlifter can handle. Even with the potential of what Kogami can possibly interact with, he wouldn't be able to grasp at another person or something they hold onto. )

PERSONALITY
It's quite the mixture, but putting it all together makes Kogami quite the unique character. For starters, being accountable refers to the responsibility of taking full fault or part of whatever he may have played a role against. It's not in Kogami's nature to place the blame on something else if it's untrue. Another thing about Kogami is his empathy. Even though he won't be too honest with his emotions, there are things that would warrant a response from him, as well as being able to sympathize with others. Kogami's loyalty holds no bounds once he finds something that he could feel bothered to dedicate himself to. It pairs quite well with the friendships that he makes with others.
With someone of his stature, you would think that Kogami would have a low tolerance of others. However, it's quite the opposite. Kogami has a lot of patience when it comes to life or everyday interactions. His mental stability is also something to be appreciative of, keeping calm even in the most desperate situation or experiencing excruciating pain.
Even with all of these good things about Kogami, the bad traits don't pale in comparison. Koga's stinginess tends to show whenever it involves sharing any of his snacks or things, but mostly his snacks. You would be lucky to get a few potato chips if he likes you enough. He has a bit of a stubborn streak of being unable to compromise at times, that ironclad of rigidness can sometimes make it seem like Kogami can be hard to work with, even if it's not always the case. It could sometimes appear in situations that aren't so serious, such as a role from play.
Koga's vain comes from the fact he believes in the pro-hero ranking system like it's the bible. He thinks of it in a way as it is impossible for growth if you are ranked too low, and likes to compare his quirk to others. It's not like he rubs it in their face, but he questions if "he could make it with this". Kogami is quite insincere, his true feelings about a matter or another person is never an outward step. It pairs in with his secretive attitude, in which he keeps a diary of his actual thoughts with him at times, or in a lockbox in his house.

APPEARANCE
HEIGHT: 180 cms
WEIGHT: 72.5 kg
HAIR/STYLE: Kinked
SKIN/SCARS:Light
EYES: Violet
NOTABLES: N/A
A little more to note about his eyes, Kogami's violet-colored iris has a striking resemblance to the hue of a hyacinth plant. This is a clear, deep, vivid blue-violet color that is luminous and very beautiful. Kogami's hair is actually very frizzy, it tends to absorb light rather than reflect it, so it will not look as glossy as straight hair. This is why his hair needs a lot more maintenance than most for it to maintain it's integrity.
Kogami contains an athletic appearance, with his size posing incredible strength. The well-formed muscles evenly distributed across his frame, giving off a very strong first impression. His clothes cycle around his old basketball uniform, his school uniform, and casual street clothes.

Skilled Basketball Player
Rank: E
Effect: Being one of his favorite sports, Kogami is actually pretty good at basketball. One of his excelling priorities is to either stay as a center or forward.
Hero Weekly Nerd
Rank: E
Effect: Even with Kogami being a fan of one of the more older comics, he still takes great care of his hero weekly subscription. This particular magazine has mostly trivial information about other heroes, the current ranking system, and other villains that are at large or what heroes had a recent clash with. It's mostly for information purposes so that Kogami won't feel ignorant about the people he work with.
