i no longer fear ending my hell
The opening of Semper Fi created some unique learning opportunities for the students of Yuuei. Many of the teachers and even the students themselves used the chance to get in some practice that would have otherwise been impossible for the moment at the military base. The resources and equipment the base had weren't available anywhere else, at least not until the school had more money and better contracts with different companies. But if the students wanted to be amazing heroes, taking the initiative was important. So Nyke, being the ever silent person that she was, actually went out and got something planned for herself and a few of her classmates. The whole process of asking for a lesson from the soldiers was an odd one for her, but she made it through. Simply put, she wanted to learn a few of the operational basics the soldier learn. And through a lot of gesturing and pointing out different equipment and vehicles that were around, the soldiers finally understood what she meant. It was weird for them, but Nyke was a weird girl.
And after a bit of guessing and an okay from the school, Nyke and three of her classmates were signed up for some drills on the base. These were going to be training with different operations and equipment on the base and learning how to do things they otherwise wouldn't be able to do. The main event was, of course, parachuting. Sure, there were thrill attractions that did that sort of thing, but not in the way the army did it. Paratrooping was much more combat orientated and that was what the students were going to have to learn. It was entirely possible that in the future, the only way to enter a disaster zone was to parachute into it and now they were going to learn how to do that along with other things.
Nyke arrived on the base and was taken to the logistics area. They were going to have the full experience for this training, so they even had uniforms prepared for the students to wear for the course of the training. Nyke's had to have a few modifications to it, of course. Part of her mutation was her devil's tail and she needed to have a hole cut and sewn into the back of her pants for it. Additionally, Nyke was a small girl, so getting a uniform that was her size was a commitment by itself. However, based on the things she heard from the other soldiers, it was a fun little activity for them to do and they were glad civilians were interested in what they did. Once her classmates arrived, they would be taken to the same area to change and even had a locker to leave their personal belongings in. Once Nyke was suited up. she left the locker room and came outside where four privates were lined up and in charge of teaching the girls the ropes. The four of them were in for a truly unique experience.
