Every bone in her body was screaming at her to get out, that this was a horrible, horrible, very bad idea. Cops were one thing, but this was the military... she didn't even know what would happen if they got her... the cops would probably lock her up, but what would the military do...?
Luzia grimaced as she skulked around, looking over her shoulder more than usual. People were everywhere, and not just the military... there were other people, too, and some of them... some of them where fucking U.A. students. Just the thought of being in the same area of them made her want to punch something... but she couldn't. There were military people everywhere, not to mention a lot of adults, and on top of all that, there were cameras everywhere. Probably wasn't a single place that didn't have someone's eyes on her.
Which was why she was so uncomfortable. She was thankful that no one knew who she actually was, though, that thought the only reason why she thought it was safe enough to be even close to this place. As for why she even considered it... military people fought good. This was some sort of... show-off attempt, or some sort of attempt to teach, or... something like that, anyway. She was wanting to take advantag eof that; she needed to learn how to fight better... that fight with that blow-up chick told her that.
At least she was healing pretty well from that; she didn't need the cast anymore, and her bruises were almost gone. Even her limp was gone. Somethings still hurt, not as much now, and she was popping some pills for that anyway. She was taking lower doses this time, though; she needed to be alert and quick in a place like this, even if she was trying to blend in with the background and avoid people looking at her.
Finally, though, she found what she was looking for; this place was set up nice and easy to learn, it was just annoying to get through because of all the eyes, but finally she got to the training grounds. Now she just needed to find someone, she supposed....

A training camp hmm? Sounded fun~ Nari had heard from a good source that the U.A. school was welcoming the military in, allowing them to train the students and aid in rescue missions and so forth. Blah blah blah, not much fun to be had. The brunette walked outside with an umbrella shielding her skin as she was quite sensitive to the bright light and heat, she hated that minor detail but if that's what it was then she could learn to deal with it, well she had learned so it was only the matter of continuing to deal with it. Nari's green eyes scanned the crowds, looking at the various groups of students walking around to different area of the camp.
How had she gotten here exactly? She had gotten curious and decided to check out to see what was going on. Nari was not famous by any standards, so being here really didn't seem to be all that harmful to her. Perhaps she might run into something or someone interesting. The brunette lowered her umbrella once she was inside one of the buildings, this happened to be one of the training facilities, already seeing some of the students going at it with the military folk. She really didn't want to get involved with them lest she get found out.
As her eyes looked around, one girl in particular seemed to catch her eye, a girl with pink hair looking around the room. Was she perhaps a student looking for a partner? She supposed since she had some time on her hands, she could use a little sparring practice. The green eyed girl pulled her small notepad out of her pocket and wrote a message before walking up to the shorter girl. Gently tapping her shoulder, she waited for the other to turn around before handing her the note she had written. 'It does look cool doesn't it? All these people sparring, enhancing their physical combat skills. Do you want to spar as well?' her note read.

She didn't like being so close to the damn students, to the school, but she didn't have much of an option here. It made her blood almost burn in her veins...! But, no. She had to control herself. She could do that. She could control herself... if she really tried. And she was. She had to. She needed to get stronger... two U.A. students, two fought her and beat her. She had to fix that. She had to learn. Luzia, after taking several breathes, opened her eyes again, although they were still narrowed, not just in her hatred, but in her alertness. She wasn't really any less angry, but she was calm, she was in control, she could work with that. She's felt like this before; she knew how to work like this.
But... what exactly was she supposed to do? Who was she supposed to go to? One of the military people? She definitely wasn't gonna go to one of the students.... "GAH!" Suddenly, with a soft yell, whirled around on her foot, instantly taking the closest thing to a battle pose the streets could have taught her. For the briefest second, her heart was racing, surprised that someone snuck up on her, especially when she was trying so hard to look over her shoulder. Was this person a threat, were they gonna try to hit her?!
...No? They were... writing? Luzia cautiously took the note when it was offered, looking it over before looking back at her. Could this girl not talk or something? That was... well, there were weirder things, she supposed. She didn't exactly expect to meet someone, though...
"Um... YEAH, KIND OF." Luzia, in ignorance, spoke *very* loudly for the girl so she could be understood, and tried to talk slowly, too. "I GUESS IT'S COOL, BUT I WAS THINK-ING THAT I COULD LEARN SOME-THING HERE."

She had wanted to check up on the girl, not scare her out of her shoes. Some people tended to be a bit more jittery it seemed to surprise taps on the shoulder. She even made a battle stance once she turned around, seeming to want to attack Nari for just asking about how she was. This girl really was jumpy, was she doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing and Nari just so happened to catch her in the act? The frightened look on her face was pretty cute, but she tended to go for older partners, not kids like her.
She could handle the surprised look on her face, but what she didn't appreciate was the way she responded to her note, talking slow and loud as if she were deaf instead of mute. Nari's smile lowered, still smiling but not as kind as she had moments prior. She turned her notebook around and wrote another message before showing the pinkette once more. 'Learn something? Are you looking for a partner? I'm sure one of the staff would be more than likely to help. If you are just as scared around them as you were me, I don't know how good an idea that would be after all. Also, I'm mute, not deaf, sweetie. I promise I can hear your voice loud and clear as is,' Nari's message read. he could have been quite cocky with the girl, but she just met her, she would wait to see what the pinkette's true colors were before she did any teasing.
The green eyed girl turned her attention away from the somewhat incompetent girl in front of her and looked around. It seemed that there were plenty of staff able to help spar with the girl if she truly wanted, Nari didn't think she'd get involved with them just because of their nature. She wasn't scared of them by any means, she just chose not to get involved with them. She couldn't go all out on her attacks either lest someone catch on to who she was.

Luzia blinked again when the girl lifted her notepad again, this time looking... annoyed? She knew that sort of annoyed; she was smiling, but she was suddenly thinking less of her. At least this time it was different; looked kinda like the sort of smile Susumu gave her when she didn't know something that was apparently obvious. Still a strange feeling, honestly, but it was kind of familiar, too... it felt like she was disappointing, but in a really weird way....
She sighed softly through her nose, honestly in no mood to be judged, snatching the paper when it was offered without even looking in the girl's direction, though still, despite her irritation, her body language said that she was still trying to blend into the background. When she read the note, she quirked an eyebrow. There was a difference between deaf and mute? She... didn't know that. At all. Huh. Now she felt kinda bad. She grumbled to herself, crumpling the paper up and tossing it away, speaking in a quieter, and even a more polite tone, although it was still a bit curt at the accusation of being scared.
"I'm just on edge and you snuck up on me." She sighed softly, calming her nerves again, rubbing a shoulder tenderly as she remembered a few... particular fights she had b een in recently, the same ones that made her take this risk to begin with. She could swear if she thought about them really hard, she could still fear some soreness. "But yeah, I thought some military guy might be able to give me, like... a crash course or something. The military fight real good, right? Best of the best?"

Nari watched as the girl took the piece of paper from her hands, reading over the brunette's message. It had seemed like the girl had understood that she had mixed being deaf and mute up, that was alright....and now she crumpled the paper up and tossed it to the side. A litterbug hmm? Nari grew just a bit annoyed that she would toss her message out like that, not even bothering to throw it away properly. She didn't let her emotions show as she looked down at the girl, she really did seem like a childish brat...a spoiled one for sure. Could someone like this really attend a prestigious hero school? More than likely.
The green eyed girl's attention was drawn back to the pinkette as she began talking, more softer this time than when she had first spoken to Nari, now getting the memo of what her condition actually was. So she was still shaken up that Nari scared her? She supposed it's only a normal human reaction, she tended not to get scared but she supposed not many people were like her. She had come to this facility to learn some fighting techniques from the military men. True the military were proficient in that sort of field, but they didn't know everything. Who knows how much they'd teach a brat like the girl in front of her. They might just blow her off, tending to more important matters. Nari looked down at her notepad for a moment before she began writing once more. Reading over her message again, Nari softly nodded before handing her note to the pinkette. 'I do apologize for frightening you. It was never my intention to do so. How about I make it up to you by sparring with you? I know quite a few moves myself, plus, it seems like all the military men and women here are busy attending to other things. What do you say?' the brunette's message read.

Luzia wondered a bit if she should add her quirk into the fighting, to let go, but she quickly reminded herself that was a bad idea; she had to keep her quirk a secret; she was in the middle of not only hero students, but the military. She might as well paint a target on her back. No, she'd have to just figure out how to add her powers into anything she learns here; that wasn't much of a problem to begin with... in fact that was basically how she worked.
She was broken out of her reminder to herself and her other thoughts when another note was offered to her. Why wasn't this lady using a phone? Wouldn't it be easier to just type on a phone like a text, but not send it? The papers were kind of getting annoying... but considering it was the least of her concerns, she was more curious than annoyed, not that she cared enough to say anything, especially since she was a stranger. She mostly ignored the first half of the note, but the second half caught her interest. She knew a few moves? Could be bullshitting her... but it was worth a look, right? Especially if it meant not interacting with the military guys... honestly she didn't like them any better than the cops, but she had to learn how to fight from somewhere... why not this lady? If she knew anything, anyway.
The pinkette looked at the woman, then at the few nearby military people, then back to her, nodding. "Yes. I would like it if you could teach me a few things. Thank you."

A bright smile soon found its way onto Nari's lips, hearing the pinkette agree to spar with her. Nari nodded and looked around, finding what appeared to be a hallway in the back of the room. Nari headed toward the back, hoping the other was following her, and came across some private rooms, used for fighting and sparring and such. They could practice there all they liked without the watchful eye of others looking at them or observing what they did. It seemed like there was only 1 window high up in the room she currently poked her head into, a perfect room for a perfect sparring session. Nari walked fully into the room and waited for the girl to walk in and close the door behind her. Knowing the coast was clear, the brunette softly sighed and spoke up. "Good, now we can get to business. Oh sorry for not talking back there, I don't really like talking in front of large groups of people. You never know who might be listening~" The green eyed girl said with a smile before stepping further into the padded room.
"Now then," the girl spoke up, "Do you want to learn hand to hand combat or are you more comfortable using a weapon of some sort? Fists, knives, guns, swords? I don't know what sorts of weapons would be available to us here, but we could always snoop around and find out, otherwise, good ol' hand to hand combat works just as fine. Just what kind of sparring would you like to do? We could do solely one kind of training or we could mix it up and do a variety of styles. I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means, but I do know my way around different ways to fight," the brunette said with a smile, looking toward the smaller girl, awaiting her response.

Luzia let the paper fall out of her hand as the woman started to lead her away, looking around when it turned into a hallway. Maybe it was just that she was so on edge, but she had to look at this woman warily. Some part of her always thought that someone was trying to screw her over, to rob her or sometimes worse.... so many times, she learned to be more wary. Just because they were in the middle of a military base didn't mean this woman wasn't gonna do anything... especially when it looked like the further the hallway they went, the less eyes on them.
She hated this feeling... it was like ants crawling under her skin, her muscles tense, her fingers almost twitching... it was like she was on the edge of a brick wall, teetering between falling on the path or on the grass. It was so stressful it made her angry; it was impossible to relax when she was feeling this way! ...But, at the same time, the feeling had saved her a few times before; kept her alert, kept her hands on her stuff... made her wonder if this person really wanted to help her.
When the two reached the room, she took a careful look around. Only one window, so there wasn't a lot of escape options, but there wasn't a camera... so that meant... no. Maybe? No... it meant that maybe if something went wrong, she could... end the girl. SHe just had to be quick and quiet... but getting away would be the hard part.
She was ripped from her thoughts, her eyes actually widening in surprise, her head whirling to the girl suddenly spoke! She could speak after all?! But why would she hide it... was she screwing with her? Or was it part of her quirk...? She stared in surprise at the girl at first, but then she shifted to an accusatory anger... but then she forced that to go away. All in all, it wasn't like it really mattered... if it did have something to do with her quirk, she'd probably figure out soon enough. And beat it.
"Everything," Luzia said, finally responding as she closed her eyes. She flexed her fingers, still hating the constant, annoying feeling in her body, but afraid to get rid of it in a fight, too. Sure, it would make her relax a little more... but in a place like this, relaxing was a very bad idea. Still, though... she had to get stronger. She readied herself, preparing herself for... well, she didn't know, but she readied herself for anything, opening her eyes again as she tried to act as cool as possible, just so she would look a little more 'normal.' Even then, just a little bit of anger flashed in her eyes as she remembered why she was doing this.
"I guess I prefer weapons because they hurt more, but I don't mind hand-to-hand. I need to learn everything; I don't care about the style, or styles, or weapons or fists. I'll take whatever you want to teach me. Probably better to learn everything, right?"
She ran her fingers through her hair; she was honestly unsure of what to do here, but she was ready. She didn't exactly have a battle stance or anything, but she was tense and relaxed, that weird sort of middle ground that meant she could move however she needed to. She didn't know what to expect, but she didn't need to. She just stood there, waiting for the other girl to do whatever she was gonna do.

Everything hmm? Was this girl no confident in her fighting abilities? She did seem rather scrawny and didn't seem like she could even hold her own in a fight. Poor girl, it was good she picked her up. She noticed how tense the other was, trying to grow a little more comfortable in this situation. It wasn't like Nari was going to eat her or anything...at least not yet that was~ "There's no need to be nervous. If you're worried about this room we are in, we can always go to another if it makes you feel more comfortable. I'm just not comfortable being so close to others. It's rather embarrassing to have other people listen to be speak," the brunette said with a sheepish chuckle. In all reality, she just didn't want anyone of lesser importance to hear her talk. It was a way people could recognize her if she happened to cross paths with them in the future, no need to spill blood when not necessary, right?
"So you're a weapons specialist, hmm?" Nari asked, crossing her arms and looking over Luiza for a moment before speaking up once more, "It's good to be proficient in all types of fighting. Especially if you are faced with a situation where a weapon you're proficient in isn't available," Nari said. "We'll stick with hand to hand combat for today, since it's the most useful in a fight," Nari said with an affirmative nod. She had never taught anyone before, this was going to be exciting! Wait until her mother hears about this! "One big step is trying to figure out the fighting style of your partner. Are they a more analytical fighter or one who shows their strength through brute force. You need to be able to handle different enemies in different ways. For instance, say that I charge at you, what is your first instinct to do given that you have no weapons in the situation," Nari said, trying to give the other a little piece of info about fighting before they got into any of the physical work.

The girl tried to assure her that she didn't need to be nervous, but it didn't really help matters. A stranger, a place away from most other people, and no security cameras... it was just the sort of place she'd try to find to kill someone else. There was no way that she was gonna relax in a place like this. Just being here at all made her nervous, so much so that, although she didn't realize it, she was standing even lower than usual, looking like she was barely five feet tall. She was instinctually trying to seem as small as possible and try to avoid notice, even when it was just the two of them.
She couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at the girl, though. Why didn't she want people to hear her? She didn't have a lisp or anything... was it part of her quirk?! The possibility made her go wide-eyed, then narrow her eyes in suspicion... but she let it go. Reluctantly, but she let it go. This girl was saying she was helping her, so she let it go as the girl responded to her.
"I guess so," Luzia replied, to the comment about being a weapons specialist. She didn't know about that per se, but having a weapon generally made things easier, at least since her quirk tended to have trouble regenerating. She turned her eyes back to the girl, then scratched her temple at the odd question. "I... guess I would try to shove you aside? Keep distance between us?" She honestly wasn't entirely sure, because that was assuming that they were in the street, where she might be able to run, or grab something...
"Did you want to try it or something?"

"Mmmm that sounds like a viable answer. Most people would try and dodge, afraid of what the other person may do if they got too close. Forcefully moving your opponent though is something most tend to steer clear of. I like your attitude," the brunette said with a grin and a nod. Trying this out, however, would the girl follow through with her ideals or would she ditch them and do what a normal person would in the situation and dodge or run away. Hmmm, so many things Nari wished to know, but the only way to find the solutions to her questions was to reenact the scenario for herself. "It would be beneficial if you could demonstrate this to me, just to see how your hand to hand combat skills are," Nari spoke, wondering how reliant this girl was with weapons alone.
Nari readied herself, looking over to the pink haired girl, "Alright, prepare yourself~" Nari spoke with a smirk, charging at Luzia. Sure, the other may think that going with the direct approach might be the most logical, but Nari knew that head on was not the way to go. As she got closer to Luzia, she veered off to the side, slipping right past her readied arms and appearing behind her. If all went according to plan, Nari would grab Luzia's wrists and hold them apart from one another. "You have to try and predict your opponent's movements before they even make them. That is one of the many keys to hand to hand combat," Nari explained to the shorter girl.
