As the video would play, her brother would speak, and while she listened, her mind was fixated on the vocals, the song, and more importantly the girl that sang it. She could feel the words, hear them as if they were sung to her. Surely the girl did not feel the same, how could anyone ever love a monster that she was. How could anyone learn to have any feelings towards her. Even if it was unreturned, Kasey wanted nothing but the best for her, and while she only heard half of what the man told her, she understood. "Oh, okay!" She would say, turning back to face him, with an uncontrollable smile on her face. "Then I love Yuri, and I want you to be the bestest man!" Relationships. They were more than just a few feelings. There were stages, phases, moments and dates. All of them complex, and none of them understood in the slightest to the girl who read every day and night. It was not something she could rad about to learn. There was no shopping catalog for dresses that would help her feel what she did. To her, it was all and the same, and it would remain that way. "I want to protect Japan, so Yuri will never have to worry!" Protective. Caring. Killing. She had her extremes, but she would never learn to realize that the girl she had fallen for... was already fighting crime. ~ Word Count: 242 ~ |

He was surprised by her reaction. Wanting him to be the 'bestest man', it made him happy but it also made him sad. It reminded him of Susu. He took another bottle.
"I'm happy for you Kasey" he said as he took a swig
At least one would find happiness. Thats how the world worked right? People around him would be happy. He would watch them be happy, he'd be there for them. He'd be close to the goal but never reach it
"I shouldnt be jealous of her. She went through much as well. It'd be a dick move if I was envious. I guess she deserves it. No... she does. She did good. Unlike me" he thougt to himself as he kept drinking
"So, Yuri was it?... she sounds nice. I see why I havent heard of her. Not my type of music" he commented, but continued "She has a nice voice. But I dont know if she's the type for a nightclub. She doesnt seem like us. Idols tend to sing bubblegum pop music. Innocent kiddy stuff"
No way an idol would be in a nightclub. Maybe she and Kasey are a couple. Maybe she'll do it for Kasey. G knew if he approached the singer that he'd probably get bitchslapped in the face and get called a creep

For someone who seemed to be ground zero for all of the evil and destruction in Japan, she wanted the best for everyone. She wanted everyone to be happy. She wanted the best... "Thanks, Big brother." she would say. It felt strange for him to say it, like she was being congratulated for her efforts.She wanted to be better. She wanted to be the best, but at the same time, she felt the need to be the worst, so no one else would ever have to. If she was the worst person on the planet, then no one else would be at the bottom. But she wanted to be at the top. She didn't care for fame, so did it matter if what she was doing was the right thing. Did it matter how the world saw her? "When we went out to eat, everyone wanted to talk to her, but she sat with me instead." kasey tried to recall her encounter. "Even if she doesn't sing, she'll bring in a lot of people to the club, surely." She didn't dare try to explain all of the food and licking, and other weird things that were said. Maybe that was private things to keep to herself. The mess they made with their fingers... They really should have eaten cake with their forks and not their hands. G patted Kasey on the head when she thanked him. It made him smile. She still called him big brother.
Kasey then spoke about Yuri, how she attracted people. Figures, she's a star after all.
"Whats she like in person? Do you think she'd like our business?" he asked out of curiosity. This whole subject had him curious, but at the same time, he was very careful. Of course during this project, Kasey would be the large and in charge. She can have everything. G even though he had his pervy perks. He wanted to train his students. He cared for them and their future.
After he heard what Kasey had to say, he asked
"So...what now? Do you stay here or do you go?"

With all of the planning, she was going to head out and begin preparations. She was going to make sure it was done, not only faster than his other location, but better. She would consult all kinds of people to ensure the building was held up to safety standards, as well as was as super secret as needed... plus the skimpy dancers. She kind of wanted them there too. For distractions of course. It's hard to raid somewhere with clad dressed woman, right? "I'll try to meet with her, she can advertise the club, I'm sure." she would tell him, her mind drifting to think only of the touch on her head. The claws of the creature dug into her neck, his hand fusing with the girl until his entire body would be absorbed back within her. "We'll need all the hands we can get." His voice echoed within her mind, some place he was far too fond of staying. It was cozy almost. And quite roomy. "I can probably get everything drawn out before the next time we meet, then we can talk with all of your hero buddies!" she would tell him. She wanted to be a pro hero just like he was. And if it was time to leave, she would give her brother a hug and make her way back to the car and head back to Sato's. There was much for her to do, and all of it counted on her. ~ Word Count: 249 ~ |
