Semper FiThe second event has come to True Path, in the form of Semper Fi! In this event, you will be given a temporary board to write and post within, just like before. While in this zone, you will have free access to use the cast of NPC we have provided; They're the top of the military, here to assess the danger, potential and dilemmas the military would run into, if they were to integrate a majority quirk users into their ranks. They were ordered by the government, as a batallion that has encountered quirk users in warzones in the past, to gather as much information as they can. This means that anyone what so ever, who has a quirk, is available to enter the military grounds and have a look around. The military's camp was announced on several news channels, on the radio, on websites; It's a big commotion you cannot possibly miss. Create your own stories within the board, control the NPCs as you see fit (though stick to their personalities. Any character with a "*" next to their name should not be killed off or maimed, they are considered essential! The rest of the cast you can do with as you will. Just remember, believable stories are encouraged!) After the initial period, where you can create your own posts and stories, staff will launch a finalé event, for which you must sign up. Depending on the sign ups, staff will have a look at the stories you created and incorporate the storylines into the event as best we can.
The idea of this is that you go do the things your character find interesting. Invite your characters friends, interact with the NPCs, simply have fun with it! If you decide to join for the event at the end of the period, your threads will matter for the happenings in the events! You help shape the event's story! Any threads within the areas will be granted a double experience bonus! Creating interesting storylines and participating in the final event will grant you event points as well! Happy hunting!~
The Zones for this event are expected to be opened on the 28th of August! Threads are able to be started till the 12th of September, where the finale will also be prepared! Any threads still active at that point, will have an additional month to be wrapped up. This means the final day to finish your threads will be the 12th of October. Notice, that during this event, we strongly recommend people utilize the request a storyteller option. A lot of the NPC's have deep storylines behind them, that will only be visible/accessed if you ask staff! Specific information on storytelling can be found here.

Combat Quarters
The combat quarters is designed to show the finesse of the military's combat training. In this zone, you'll find specialized personnel to assist with fleshing out your fighting styles. Their motivation for assisting quirk users, is learning more of the combat appliances quirks can have. As the shift between quirkers and non-quirkers is shifting towards a majority being born with a quirk, the military has been forced to take a new stance, accepting more quirk users into their ranks to maintain manageable numbers and forces. For the simple practices, one can find a cage for cage fights, a paintball hall for tactical training, training dummies, weights and what not for physical workout, plus outdoor boxing rings for sparring practices.
NPCS
Lieutenant Hideaki Ryouta (*) A stout military veteran in his mid 30s with a heavy military background. JSDF, Special Forces, you name it. Knowledgeable in many martial arts such as Judo, Taekwondo, Krav Maga etc. Basically an MMA powerhouse who can handle himself expertly, be it barehanded or with a melee weapon. It’s not revealed to the public as the Hideaki family is heavily oriented, but to the military it is no secret that Ryouta’s younger brother was a ‘Quirker,’ perhaps thus explaining why he is so positive towards people with quirks. This encompassing especially the younger generation who he wants to see growing up to be what the new society considers Heroes. However because of this very reason the lieutenant is often shunned and disrespected within the military’s ranks. He does not mind it; often doesn’t care for it. He’s rather easy going with life, smiling his days away. Yet when he needs to he can put his boot down and become rather terrifying when he goes ‘military mode.’ A natural born leader, you won’t find many who inspire loyalty as he is the poster boy of ‘actions speak louder than words’
Corporal Tanaka Greyson (*) The Corporal is a mysterious man who is seemingly always at the center of strange or supernatural occurences, yet he is never to blame for any of it. He’s somebody whose interests are shrouded in the unknown, seemingly doing things for his own benefit. Or rather, twisted amusement. Despite being a relatively low rank in the ladder, his hands are deep within his seniors’ pockets either through extortion, blackmail or simple corruption. He doesn’t follow a specific agenda – he doesn’t care for neither side of this quirk business. All he wants to see is where the world goes with it, and thus may be seen offering a hand that should be accepted with caution – you never know what the guy is plotting. Colonel Kazuo Masanori
A rigid and dutiful man in his late forties. He is what you’d consider the ‘self-righteous hardass’ of the group, always stern and unrelenting in his approach, whether it is to waking up on time, or distrusting outsiders. He absolutely despises the phenomena known as ‘Quirkers’ because of many past disputes with them and considers them as no more than dogs. Will openly show his distaste for the whole situation by shunning people with quirks. Holds a special place in his personal hell for Ryouta as he has often been seen trying to court martial the Lieutenant for trying to defend quirkers. The Colonel will often accept training exercises with quirk users, for the sheer purpose of beating them up - and he's exceedingly good at it.
Sergeant Yoshi Miwa – A simple woman with simple ambitions; the typical ‘kiss the ass of my superior and follow him blindly to get a promotion.’ Yoshi's someone who’s basically following orders for her own personal gain and has an unhealthy devotion towards the Colonel especially. Yoshi has developed a similar hatred for quirkers and won’t hesitate to use physical violence against them without thinking things through. Will often get herself into trouble being a hardass, needing the colonel to cover up her mistakes. Albeit, since she shows such deep distaste for quirkers, she often wins his favor.

Medical Camp
The medical camp is a mobile operations center, commonly referred to as the MOC. This vehicle is an enormous rover, with several available expansions, allowing for a quickly constructed medical tent. The personnel naturally brought additional tents with them, to give themselves more working space. In this zone, you will find doctors and nurses with experience, both on the battlefield and off. They desire to learn more about quirk users, specifically with a focus on those that have quirks of healing natures. Additionally, they want to uncover more of the metabolism and healing factors of different mutations quirks. With the new presence of quirk users potentially joining the army, the medics are forced to learn and adapt to new methods, as well as precautions against incidents.
For research and testing purposes, there are cadavers, to display methods to close and treat wounds as well as dummies. There are also animal carcasses to help get an idea of how certain quirks are dangerous, or harmful to a normal, unprotected non-quirker. There is a large collection of medical supplies, both released to the public, as well as some limited to only the military. In short, if you want to learn more of the specifics of how your quirk works, this is the place to go!NPCSShoru Norigami:* Regarded as unstable and unpredictable, Shoru is often regarded as a mad scientist. While being seen as mad by most of his colleges, he has more time in the field that majority of his staff combined. A man in his late fifties, he is quite fit an athletic for his age, that is, if you can even find what his body looks like from under his lab coat. Seen most often in protective wear, he takes every precaution he can to prevent from getting sick. As the lead doctor, he directs his staff without hesitation to ensure his patients survival.
Pan Iti: A doctor with a lust for blood, there is no wound he won't close. Never seen without his coat, even off duty. Being a military consultant, he takes a different view now actually seeing the action first hand. He is very loud and outspoken, and once he starts talking to you, he most likely won't shut up.
Bodak Manjiki: A tanned beauty who was known for her dramatic rescues. Any one she treated, she was sure to never let them forget. Loud and sour mouthed, she may not be the nicest person in the world, but she means well... Probably.
Tsuki Nosagi: A white haired woman with a history of treating wounds on the battlefield. She has witnessed war first hand, and is often lost in her own thoughts about it. She is reserved and silent, and keeps to herself mostly.
Giselle Shini: A lighthearted and loving blonde who goes out of her way to ensure all of her patients are feeling fine. She is never seen without a smile on her face, and something in her hands. She is the one who runs back and forth, delivering snacks and treats to patients, as well as other things the doctors need. If you speak with her, make it fast because she has somewhere to go!
Nani Nadaiyo: With glasses and her raven colored hair, she can be seen overlooking data analyses making sure everything is running right. She is the rookie of the entire staff, and is often treated like such. Having just graduating, she went directly into the forces to help serve those, that serve the country.
Avril Mitsuki: The younger of the ivory haired sisters, she is known for her low fatality rate, having saved the most lives with the least failure. Of the two, she is the more friendly and most talkative. An advocate for medicine as well as military practices, she has spoken out on numerous occasions with the help of her sister to help bring what she learned on the battlefield, back at the hospitals at home.
Sunday Mitsuki: The elder of the sisters, known for her focus and drive to save lives, she is known for not letting a single soul slip through her arms. Mostly quiet and kept to herself, she keeps her nose to her data rather than in conversation.

The Armory
Part of any military, is the armaments squad. For this exhibition and interaction, the 10th Combat Logistics Bataillon has been deployed with a heavy ordnance. Their purpose at the area, is to compare specialized weapons and ammunitions to the capabilities of quirk holders. Whether the army, in this new world, can even hold a candle to these so called superpowers. The armaments squad has set up shop on the far end of the encampment, with the shooting range pointing away from the other areas to avoid accidents. The batallion has brought an ordnance of weapons, including an impressive Type-90 Kyū-maru main battle tank. Of more common weaponry, the batallion can still showcase an impressive array: They have shotguns, assault rifles, handguns and sniper rifles. There are various types of ammunition; expanding, armor piercing, incendiary, explosive and even rocket-propelled gyroscopic. There were dragon’s breath cartridges, tazer net arrays, artillery pieces of all shapes and sizes hurling explosive, shrapnel, molten metal shells; ATVs with machine guns on top, and even an automatic repeating grenade launcher. On the more experimental side, they even had a bona fide railgun propelling steel darts at ludicrous speeds required an equally ludicrous quantity of electricity to function, supplied by the power plants of three different trucks. There was also a huge, unwieldy, alien-looking rifle that used a high powered laser to blind and disorient its target. Another equally unwieldy, equally alien looking rifle sat next to it, connected to a generator unit by a thick cable. In lieu and place of a proper barrel, it had a copper coil. It was exactly what it looked like it was, which was a Tesla gun, capable of shocking targets up to fifteen meters away. And now, the 10th Combat Logistics Bataillon, having set up everything, eagerly awaited the quirked masses to show them that before humans gained the ability to poop electricity, they invented weapons that could do far more impressive things. NPCs: Sergeant Major Yamaguchi Masao (*): The highest-ranked of the foot soldiers, he displays fierce leadership with a bellowing commanding voice and an eternal 3-day stubble. Comes off as a brute, kind of is one, carries a machine gun but deeply cares for his men. He often butts heads with the logistics officer. Logistics Specialist, Warrant Officer Yoshida Haruma (*): A stoic man with glasses and a serious attitude toward everything. Disapproving of the operation and often tries to cut costs across the board to earn himself a promotion, to the point rations and equipment stores sometimes drop dangerously low, making him butt heads with Sergeant Major Yamaguchi and generally not the most liked of men. Sergeant First Class Sasaki Akira and his daughter, Sasaki Sachiko (*): The tank commander and doting father, and his daughter of twelve who obtained special permission to come to the demonstration. Sachiko is fascinated by her daddy’s work and can be found curiously exploring the area, or climbing on her father’s vehicle. Akira sits in his tank with his head over the hatch, answering questions and watching over her daughter. The engineer, Shinichi Yoshida-san (*): A meek and mild-mannered man happy to answer all technical questions. A weapons nerd through and through, he knows the inner workings of every pìece of equipment on display. Is often reminded by his boss to stop giving so many details and just sell the stuff The engineer’s boss, Tanaka Yuuta (*): Senior executive of an armament conglomerate that builds everything from small arms to vehicles and son of the owner. He negotiated with senior command to be allowed here with an engineer from the company, with a sales objective in mind: the Tanaka Conglomerate is looking for new clients. The privates: Assigned to keep watch over the event are a few privates, who are also roped in to demonstrate the weapons. Takeshi is a young model soldier, eager to defend his country; Yoshida is the joker of the group, having written “born to krill” on his helmet with a picture of a shrimp, spoofing a classic war movie. Souma is tall, wide, an excellent cook and generally the squad mom. Nobu is the edgiest, with a collection of knives seemingly always on his person, eager to show the melee equipment. The least notable of the lot is Daichi, who quietly follows orders and doesn’t like trouble.

Rescue Training
The rescue training area is designed to check how competent quirks are versus trained professionals at rescue operations. Navigating hazardous zones and overcoming obstacles, with a focus specifically on marine operations. The military intends to see how useful quirks could be in crisis situations and what their potential utility uses could be in combat zones. Students who decided to participate will have the chance to train with several instructions while making use of the facilities set up to test their capabilities. These facilities include a diving pool with an artificial current generator, an obstacle course with dummy rescue as well as a maze-like area that requires skills such as navigating under low visibility, threat assessment and hazard avoidance.
Students with aquatic or movement based quirks are particularly encouraged to take part.
NPCs
Sho Yamamoto: Male. 29. Helicopter pilot. Friendly and enthusiastic, acts a lot younger than he is. A reckless adrenaline junkie who doesn’t fear danger, loves a challenge and always has a quip or a one-liner ready. Quirkless but sympathetic to Quirkers because he has an older brother with a Quirk that gave him a set of wings, and having always admired his brother’s ability to fly, he joined the Japanese air force so that he could fly too.
Daisuke Oshiro: Male. 47. Explosive ordnance disposal. A grizzled veteran who doesn’t take any crap; he’s pretty much your stereotypical ‘military man’. While he is not outright against Quirkers, he is wary of the dangers they pose and believes UA should be stricter and more of a military institution than silly superhero nonsense. Thus, he will be incredibly harsh and demanding towards anyone who undergoes his trials, especially if they are a student. Could be convinced to assist the Quirkers or fight against them when things go to hell depending on what happens.
Masumi Hisakawa: (*) Female. 34. Diving instructor, oversees water-based rescue. Very much against Quirks; she was caught in the crossfire between two Quirkers as a child and saw first-hand the damage Quirks can do. It was even more traumatising for her when it turned out she had a Quirk herself: the ability to erect semi-translucent forcefields of various shapes and sizes. She has suppressed this all her life to appear Quirkless. Reluctant to be involved in the operations and will be very cold and hostile to all participants. If her Quirk is exposed she will panic and of course become a target of the anti-Quirk movement herself.
Takeshi Kazuhira: (*) Male. 28. Pararescue operative. A somewhat carefree and dull young man who joined the army after effectively being left with no other choice as university education seemed out of his reach. Although far from being an exemplary soldier, his ability to work together with others as well as his willingness to blindly follow orders allowed him to make progress in his career of choice. He has grown close to Masumi over time, and although he doesn’t feel strongly about those with quirks one way or the other, his willingness to give into peer pressures, his fondness of Masumi and his tendency to follow orders all contribute to him rather eagerly taking part in any action against quirk users.
Daia Tachibana: (*) Male, 38. Frogman/Combat Diver. A calm and collected individual, as well as a by the books soldier. Early on in his life he aimed to be a professional athlete, pursing swimming, but when the chance was taken from him by an overly strict father he joined the military instead. He continued to pursue his passion there becoming a combat diver while also looking into logistics and associated fields. Besides his athletic abilities he stands out among his comrades as perceptive with an eye for detail. Although he does not advocate direct violence against quirk users, he does resent them and sees them as a danger and in many ways a mockery of nature itself. All he needs to turn on them is a single good reason to set him off and give him a justification.
