A New Challenger Approaches (Akio)

He had his arms crossed and started tapping his foot. He almost waited here for 24 hours. He looked at his wristwatch, and then he heard his phone get a message
"Oh god. I hope its not one of those 'sorry cant make it' texts" G thought to himself before he looked. He picked up the phone and saw Akio sent
Akio: I'm here, I'm by a bench in the center of the park, I'll be the tallest person here, you can't miss me

G looked up from his phone and looked around himself, he saw a few people. Civillians. He wondered which one of them could be Akio. He saw some red head kid sitting on a bench. He then typed, and sent
[Unknown Number]: Are you the red head kid thats staring into his phone?

He sent this while looking straight at a certain red headed boy. He didnt wanna approach this unknown youngster, in case a wrong person caught his attention.. But either way, if he was the student, he shouldnt sit on his ass and wait. He, as the teacher isnt gonna walk over to him. He should come to G. Students go from one classroom to another, not Teachers. Thats what G decided, if the boy wants a master, maybe he should find him and not just sit and wait. G shook his head

Luckily G didnt have to wait. As the boy who was looking at his phone was indeed Akio. He approached him and introduced himself. Full name Akio Hirotaka. He then asked for his masters name
"You can call me G." he simply said

Akio proceeded to explain how Chise talked a lot about him. G would smile, but he kept up his poker face to Akio. He was happy that Chise told good things about him. He will show his gratitude to the girl later, but now G needed to see if the boy was worthy
"Thats all well and good. But I cant train you yet. I need to see if you're worthy. I dont teach just anyone." he wanted to let Akio know that he's not just some run of the mill fitness trainer. He was a Profesional. A professional Vigilante!!!
But G didnt tell him that, not yet.

"So, I heard that you're from the Hero Course? Why do you want to train with me and not some Pro Hero? Why do you want to be a Pro Hero?" he asked and then explained "I need to see if you're really Hero Material or if you're just one of those punks who want to get fame and pick up chicks"

G pondered as he listened to the boys story. So the UA had only 4 teachers. And out of 4, he met one. Yellow Jacket, the bee heroine. Chise said she was from General Studies. Yes, from what G saw, Yellow Jacket may have not been the best hero to teach a youth like Akio. Then again, there were 3 more teachers he didnt know about.

Then the boy went to tell a personal tale. Basically his sibling died and he didnt want anyone to feel that pain. He also wanted to protect someone. He could respect that and he could respect his upfront nature. It was good the boy didnt hide secrets, G felt he had enough of that shit. And the boy seems like he has honest intentions, then its settled
"Very well, I will train you. But since you're from a Hero Course and have a more battle ready Quirk then Chise. I'll just have to test you out and fight you, to see what kind of training will you get. So..." he turned around "Follow me"

G started walking away, leading the way where he will test Akio. Since he was a Vigilante, he had no qualms about usings Quirks in combat. He decided to lead Akio in an alley. He avoided the one that Jaz used, since she actually graffiti drew G on an alley wall. G didnt want to seem like a showoff. So he chose another alley, where people wont interrupt. Where he could see Akio's true potential. Spot his strengths and weaknesses and thus guide him

When they arrived, Akio said that his skills, his combats skills were very weak
"I'll be the judge of that. Now go on. Fite me. Use your Quirk. I wanna see whats your 100%" G said as he crossed his arms used his Quirk to summon Goliath, his Spirit Animal

Goliath was stunned for a moment. Did he get upercutted by a trash can lid? Out of instinct he pushed Akio away with his claw hand to gain distance. Goliath saw the heated rod that almost pierced him. He then used his water power. He shot a stream of water from his mouth at Akio. Hoping to cause a moderate amount of damage and push him further away. He aimed for the chest

G meanwhile watched the battle. The boy seemed resourceful. He was a good foe. So why did he have to train? He looks like he was doing plenty enough. But then he was reminded, the school. UA sucked. Miku told him about the drug thing. G nicknamed that new unknown drug Porcelain Bunny. And then he gave Miku a drug PSA over the phone how drugs are bad. UA, in chaos, drugged and understaffed, this boy seeked out a True Hero. Although, that last part sounded laughable to G. No way anyone would see him as a Hero. He was a Vigilante. Speaking of which. What did the boy think about Vigis? Did he approve of them or did they think they were some menace to society

Goliath used his water ability again. And shot a stream of water from his mouth again to aim for Akios hand and burning hot metal rod. Goliath wanted to cool it down and turn it back to an average block-able rod. It was a battle of temperature control.

G still pondered as he watched in the background. Should he end the battle? What does the boy wish to focus on? Quirk hopefully. G didnt quite wanna teach his own personal 'martial art' to some stranger.

"He fights good. Granted if Goliath didnt hold back he wouldnt have a chance. But thats mostly because I have years and experience on my side. Perhaps he just lacks confidence in his skill. Hard to tell...I'm a figter not a pro analyser" G thought as he shook his head

He watched Goliath try to slap the metal rod out of Akios hand with his sharp claw. He wanted Akio unarmed and pinned down, because when it came to the two fighters. The Spirit Animal thought the boy had an advantage. Akio was trained in non lethal combat, while Goliath wasnt. The Spirit Animal alwas had difficulty fighting and not killing. Not to mention, he had to hold back against Akio. That made Goliath disgruntled
