Where had all the excitement gone? The brunette had wanted to get some things done today but the heavy rain outside prevented her from doing so. Nari was confined to her home all day, forced to cancel her plans and reconfigure her schedule. It seemed as the the rain would never seem to cease, pouring down heavier and harder with each passing hour. Thankfully, Nari's pour had not gone out and her mother was not outside during the storm. The green eyed girl never liked to use electricity when it was not needed, turning the lights off and unplugging any unused appliances in the house as the storm continued to rain down on the city. The brunette busied herself with some sudoku and some crocheting, she as almost done with a blanket she had started a few weeks ago as a present for when she saw her father again.
It wasn't until late at night that the rain had finally decided to leave, resulting in a humid climate outside thanks to the time of year it was. Sure, Nari liked to stay at home, but she was itching for a bit of excitement. Nari went upstairs and grabbed what she needed, a small notepad and pencil, shoving them into her dress pocket, as well as some knives to strap to her thighs just in case she ran into any trouble on her exploration. Nari said a quick goodbye to her mother before heading outside in the misty air, heading into town to see what sort of excitement she might find.

Kenjo Sujitsu. The name of a con-artist, playboy, arrogant asshole, and soon to be the name on the local obituary. This job was personal to Boss, as the target had not only sullied a fraction of Ketsujo Corp's name, but had performed grade A tax scandal to siphon money from them. The fool thought he could stay hidden just by staying downtown - his private jet prepped for tomorrow morning. Easily enough for Lorian, the man was confident enough to throw a damned party. It was past the point of a slap the face as much as a kick in the balls, and his orders were clear. Bring him back, dead or alive. The modified office complex that served as his expensive home was surprisingly well-guarded, and if Lorian wanted to pull this off without a hitch, he'd need to find a discreet way inside. Dressed in formal attire and toting a flagrant opera mask as his disguise, he walked across the street, head buried in his phone as if he were any other partygoer. He looked up, a line of people standing outside the buildings as four bouncers watched the door. Damn. So much for just walking in. Another detail caught his attention, and Lorian nearly let out a growl as he read it. "Couple's Party Only!". Of course. It had to be that much harder. To make it worse, Karla was already assigned on another task - and despite how awkward that would have been at least it would have been easy. He changed tactics, walking down the line of people and searching for a lone woman. He'd take a man if he had to, but he wished to not sully his pride any further.

Simple house. Closed store front. Abandoned warehouse. Nothing Nari passed really screamed 'excitement' to her, everything quite dull just as the day had been. As she got closer into town, she heard what sounded like party music coming from a nearby building. Were they throwing a party because the heavy storms had subsided, or was this just a coincidence? Either way, the flashing lights seemed to draw the brunette in, wanting to know what this party was about in the first place. Who knows, maybe she'd get lucky enough to go inside.
The green eyed girl rounded the corner and found the entrance of the building was blocked off with a line of nicely dressed people all waiting to get inside said party. The only thing stopping them was the two burly men dressed in black standing in front of the door. So, it had appeared only certain people were allowed inside, maybe she could worm her way inside. It wasn't like she dressed any different than the people waiting in line, she wore one of her Lolita like dresses and a pair of Mary Jane shoes. She supposed the other women in line dressed a little more...provocative but Nari wasn't about to tear apart her favorite dress to show some skin now. Before she could really think of a plan to crash the party, a sign that read 'Couple's Only Party' caught her attention. The brunette frowned seeing this, who even threw a party for just couples? It seemed rather silly. The hipness of the party made Nari's curiosity grow, if only she could find a way inside...she would need a...what do you call them...dates? Not the fruit but the person...that's what she needed if she wanted to sedate her growing curiosity.

Lorian drummed his fingers against the bench he was now sitting on, contemplating other ways to infiltrate the building. It wasn't ideal, but neither was not attempting the job at all - his Boss would have literal bloody murder done in some shape if the target wasn't dealt with. Honestly, a bomb to cause some collateral damage wasn't out of the question at this point. He stood abruptly, determined to make one last sweep of the potential loners that had wandered onto the scene - damnable hippie restrictions to enter the party.

Nari softly huffed, noticing that most of the people in the line outside of the party had been taken or were too suspicious to pair with. The brunette made her way over to a nearby bench, almost missing that another had already occupied half of the bench already. The green eyed girl looked over at the masked man, wondering as to why he wore a mask in the first place. Was it a disguise of sorts? Was it to go with the outfit that he wore? The green eyed girl found her hand slipping into her dress pocket to grab her notepad and pen. She wrote down a short message before tearing the paper out.
Before she could hand it to the other, however, he had stood up and began walking away from her. The brunette blinked and watched him walk away, dumbfounded that he flat out rejected her letter. She glared at him, watching as he walked up the line looking at the scantily clad women. Who was he to reject her friendly gesture like that? Nari pouted and wrote another note before getting up and going over to the masked man. The pale green eyed girl tapped the man's shoulder, hopefully grabbing his attention this time. Nari had ripped the second note out of her notepad and looked up at the masked man. She then handed the note to the other with a semi-stern expression on her pale green face. 'You know, it's rather rude to just get up and walk away from someone who is trying to talk to you. I may be mute but that gives you no right to just up and walk away without taking the note I planned to hand to you.' her note read.

Lorian was breached from his deep thought, jumping slightly as his focus snapped back to life in front of him. A note came into his vision, and he took it, still gathering his thoughts. His gaze slipped over to the person who handed it to him - a woman with a slightly displeased expression dressed in borderline casual attire. He blinked, then read the note presented and let out a small huff of relief. Perhaps this was his opportunity to get in, and he almost driven it away. It clicked that going through the motions of 'politeness' was much more likely to secure his attendance if this lady was actually looking for someone to go with.
Starting by releasing a more audible sigh, he coupled the sound with rubbing the back of his head to appear embarrassed about it. "Apologies... I was absorbed in thought. Quite honestly, I've never seen a party with these kind of specific restrictions before and was so very worried I wouldn't be able to attend. I hope you aren't offended by my own obliviousness, ma'am." Perhaps laying it on a bit thick - but with little experience in speaking to women Lorian had a better chance with going overboard than appearing hostile.

Ma'am? Who did he think she was, some old lady? Miss would have been a more proper term for her but she wouldn't yell at him for making a small error. Perhaps inside she'd make a small jest about it...that is if she even got the chance to enter such an exclusive party. The lone of people was getting longer by the minute, but with this boy's help, she was sure she could slither her way inside and infiltrate the party. Maybe there would even be a causality or two tonight~ Oh how the wonderful possibilities flooded the green eyed girl's head.
Nari took her notepad back and began writing another note before showing the masked man standing before her. 'I had stumbled upon this party as well but saw that it had specific requirements for entry. Sadly I did not bring a so called 'date' along with me so now I cannot enter. I had seen you perusing the line of happy pairings hoping for your golden ticket but alas, you hadn't found it...that is until now. I'll agree to be your 'partner' for this little soiree if you choose. If not, I guess we both will be out of luck, dying to find out what could possibly be inside such tightly kept walls.' Nari's note read. Nari looked up at the boy and smirked, knowing he couldn't possibly refuse her offer, seeing as he was just as curious as she was. She wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted and her eyes were set on getting inside that party.
