BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-!
"Die!"
CRUNCH!
And that was the end of Erek's alarm clock as after smashing it off of the headboard of his bed he tossed it out of his bedroom door into the living room. Didn't that stupid piece of plastic crap know that he was choosing to sleep in today? Even though it was a decision made the second he heard the first strains of his alarm the thing still should have known. Didn't it have any danger instincts? Machines were supposed to be superior, weren't they? Erek laid back on his bed and covered his eyes with his forearm to keep from staring up at his boring white ceiling. If it were any other day, Erek would have been proud of how lazy he was right now.
But being an indolent sack of useless mass never got him paid, put food on his table, get his mom off his back, it pissed her off more crazily enough, or benefited him in any way. Especially since his debut at U.A. was coming up soon, it would be wise to be in tip top shape when he would, U.A was known for bringing in promising prospects and turning them into powerful heroes, which is why his mother encouraged him to apply. Granted it didn’t take much once his mother promised that the school would provide him with more power. “Once I get to the place, I would inevitably have to face off against the most powerful heroes of my generation; maybe I would finally be able to face off against people that can give me a challenge,” Erek mused. To be a great hero you have to be the strongest. And Erek was determined to be the greatest hero there ever was.
With that goal in his mind, Erek Rolled out of bed and begrudgingly made his way to his bathroom to get prepared for the day, taking a detour to the living room to punch on his stereo for background noise in his apartment. Thirty minutes later and Erek was dressed and tying his shoes, a piece of toast hanging out of his mouth, and headphones plugged into his ears.
Now that he could speak Japanese fluently enough to at least hold a conversation that wasn't one-sided, Erek thought it would be a good idea to explore Tokyo after all once he was inevitably accepted into U.A he would be staying in his assigned dorm room and would no longer need his apartment. So he might as well explore Tokyo while he had the chance. Once he exited the apartment, Erek let out a content sigh as he felt the sun's rays hit his skin as his body greedily absorbed the energy and stored it for later use. It was a beautiful day the sun was shining, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. A perfect day for a Solar Energy Battery like Erek. It took Erek twenty minutes to walk to the park. Sensing that his energy reserves weren’t full Erek decided to stop his little adventure and allow his reserves to fill up. Erek found an open park bench that wasn't in the shade and lied down. It seemed like a decent enough place to relax while he let his reserves fill up.
