Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee It's a Feast in a Steel Cage Aeris stood at the gates to the Bamboo Garden in the center of the city. The red traditional openings were easy to find for just about any one. Especially at 8 am on a Saturday. Standing off to the side was the Fantasy Fairy herself, Aeris. Dressed a little more Japanese than she has ever been see before. Her hair done up in a summer time Bun, complete with hair ties. Her outfit was a white kimono decorated with blue butterflies flying up from the bottom hem. She had a wide blue obi around her waist with an anime worthy bow on the back. White ankle high tobi and wooden geta on her feet. She was fanning herself with a paper fan with the symbol of a butterfly on the front.
Aeris was looking a little tired, despite being done up exquisitely. Saturdays were normally her resting day or paperwork day because Friday nights were made for wine. But she had training today. One of her more promising students needed training she couldn't get at school. So she told her to meet her here in summer kimono and completely done up. Her long flowing sleeves were held back a bit as she let the breeze get under the layers as she attempted to fan away her hangover.

All I saw was the Devil's soul And it looked a helluva lot like my own Fucking mornings, man. Within the spectrum of things belonging to an ordinary life, Jasmine didn't know what she hated more than having to wake up early on what she believed to be a well-deserved weekend of rest. After recent events all the blonde wanted to do was just kick back, relax, forget the world around her, get a glass of whiskey, and just... just watch TV. Maybe fall asleep. Nap a little. Literally all she wanted to do was nothing at all. Just waste her time into oblivion. Was that too much to ask considering the shit show of a week both she and everyone around her had? Clearly, it was, as their good 'ol homeroom teacher had clearly devised a different plan to what Jaz had in mind.
The fair-haired female had half the mind to text the teacher a fairly polite thanks but no thanks... but at the same time she had been a little curious. Something about this smelt fishy. Almost as though the teacher had some kind of ulterior motive. From what Jaz could reason out of the very few interactions she's had with the woman, she was the type to observe and counter-act. Aeris was there when the clusterfuck at the maid cafe happened - the blonde had spotted her out of the corner of her eye. She had seen what had transpired there from a front row seat to all the drama. It was kind of funny, actually. Infuriating, don't get her wrong, but also funny. Thus Jaz had to wonder what the heck Aeris had planned. Clearly it was going to have something to do with how the seventeen-year-old handled the situation a week ago.
A situation that still made her heart ache, not to mention the aftermath.
Shaking her head, Jaz groaned, trying to get those toxic thoughts out of her head. Fixing her outfit - one that consisted of nothing more than a orange tank, a grey high-collar jacket left unzipped, black slim-fit sweatpants and orange high-top sneakers, the blonde made her way to Tokyo, taking the first train out of Musutafu.
"Okay... what the hell are we doing here this early? And what the hell is that outfit?" The blonde lioness asked the second she reached her destination, her confused eyes locked on the homeroom teacher and her get-up... which she assumed was some kind of Japanese tradition. She had seen some shit like that on some dumb TV show. Christ those were weird. Why was Japan so fucking weird?

Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee It's a Feast in a Steel Cage Aeris checked the phone she had hidden up her sleeve for the time. Jasmine had six more minutes before she was late. Just as she was starting to think about how she would apologize to the proprietress, she caught the Blonde Lioness walking up from the side. SHe was dressed in what was essentially normal street clothes. She sighed behind the paper fan and turned towards her charge. Without saying anything she looked into the garden and walked in. Bamboo towered over them by at least five times their height. While it was serene and quiet after the gate, it had a towering presence that usually only came from walking in major down towns. For Aeris, she felt like this everyday when she used her quirk so it was nothing new to her.
The gravel pathway had large stones in the center for ease of stepping for those in less than flat foot wear. "I invited you here for some tea and to talk." Her pace slowed a little so she was walking next to the boom baby as they would spend a couple minutes before reaching there destination. Even the sounds of the city were gone once they had stepped inside the garden. "For starters, I want to say, as a citizen of love, I am proud of what you did at the cafe. My only critique would be in How you did it. Which is what our training is for today."
There were students in her class that hadn't even bothered with individual lessons yet and this was Jasmine's second private clas. The first one with Rin was something else. So she had no doubts that the Lioness could ace this. She only had doubts that the Fire Knuckle would not try this lesson. She just hoped she wasn't losing ehr most powerful student so soon.

All I saw was the Devil's soul And it looked a helluva lot like my own Hands shoved into her pockets, a tired, apathetic expression on her face, the fair-haired teenager followed her teacher inside. A low whistle escaped her when she saw the height of the bamboo, the scene itself something she could have sworn she'd seen on TV. This wasn't normally a place the lioness would frequent - she favored places with more alcohol and less nature, though the teacher didn't need to know that. She walked along the gravel, following closely behind Aeris as glass eyes were looking around the area. It was funny how deep Jasmine's instincts ran. Without even realizing it the girl had begun looking for vantage points, escape routes, projectiles to use... she had to actually stop herself when she realized it, sighing to herself quietly. This last week had her much too on edge.
"Okay... but did you have to do it this early?" Jasmine replied, yawning out the last words tiredly. Shit, she hated mornings. Though the next words she said had Jaz stop for a brief moment before giving the teacher's a sideways glance. This one wasn't tired nor was it friendly. It was more of a warning for Aeris to mind her own business. She was not in the mood for this. Not after... she sighed. Okay, no. She needed to pace herself. Shaking her head, the blonde lioness let her innately aggressive thoughts slowly dissipate before addressing the older female again, "Yeah? And how do you think I was supposed to do it, teach?" She asked, her voiced laced with sarcasm, "You gonna give me public speaking lessons now? Cause I sure as shit can't figure out how that's going to help me at all," Jaz said, clearly not understanding what she was here for in the first place. She had expected some kind of combat training, but... this? Help with matters of the heart? What had that got to do with anything?

Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Its a Feast in a Steel Cage Aeris just gave the lioness a little laugh as they turned the corner. Up ahead, easily in view was a small traditional Japanese Tea House. The door were slid open at the guest entrance. "We are having to do this this early so we are not hindering business. Madame Tachibana is doing us a great favor so be on your absolute best behavior. Just follow my lead for now." Aeris set the fan down along her body as they approached the tatami mat that made up the entrance step. She made a noticeable pointing motion to her feet, just before stepping out of her geta and onto the step.
From the entrance they could get a good look inside, but Aeris didn't make a move past the two meter by 1 meter mat she stepped up on. Her left hand gave a small motion indicating where Jasmine should be. The room consisted of Bamboo framed paper walls. A roof that was over a millenium old, though it didn't look like it was there for even a snow fall. At the right end of their mat, another equal sized mat ran perpendicular where it met another mat that turned left again to meet a fourth mat which came right to them. The center had a half mat with a stone heart in the corner across from the. To their left was a small doorway. Set in a small room to the right on the furthest wall area, a hanging scroll could be seen with just the Japanese word for Training. there was much she could say, but Aeris was making a point that now they had to be silent. For now.

All I saw was the Devil's soul And it looked a helluva lot like my own "Hai, hai..." Jasmine replied in the most disinterested way she could, a tired sigh leaving her lips. There were so many things she could be doing right now. Sleep was one of those things. Video games, maybe. Some coffee. Heck, even a visit to the gym or a jog. Shit, she could've been working on that piece she was going to show to her art club. Or just hanging out with Rin... despite how strange and strained the situation between them now was due to circumstances that she had to slowly work to fix. She sighed again; that one thought was becoming increasingly difficult to deal with.
Looking around her immediate surroundings, Jaz blinked several times in confusion. This... weren't they supposed to train? She could see the kanji for training on the wall. How in the hell... this place, as beautiful as it was, wouldn't hold up against a single one of her explosions, let alone the teacher's abilities. So what in the fuck were they doing here, anyway? This made little to no sense in the blonde's mind. Early Saturday... maybe Aeris hasn't woken up properly yet? Her brain wasn't on yet, Jaz was pretty sure of it.
Standing in the place where she was intended to stand, the lioness waited for one moment. Two. Three. Eventually she was beginning to grow impatient and turned to the homeroom teacher, extending her arms and shrugging in a what the fuck? kind of way. "So are we just gonna stand here with our thumbs up our asses or is there a point to this?"

Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Its a Feast in a Steel Cage When Jasmine spoke up, Aeris slowly turned her head, eyes looking like she was about to murder the young lioness, but they were instantly softened at the sound of wood sliding against wood. From the smaller door on the side, an older woman slid in, kneeling on the ground and bringing a tray with her. On the tray was a kettle, a couple small cups, one large cup, a small plate of sweets, and a wooden box. The woman bowed her head to the two. Aeris bowed back and then softly walked to the left, kneeling down next to a small table. The second table seemed reserved for Jasmine.
The older woman was the Tachibana she mentioned earlier. Her yukata was simple, but it seemed to fit in well with the surroundings. She went about setting the kettle on the stone oven in the center area, letting the water already inside begin to boil. The cups were set out as was the plate of sweets. It was placed on Aeris's table, though it was close enough for Jasmine to easily reach. A small spoon seemingly made of bamboo was taken from the box and Tachibana placed a small bit of green poweder in the smaller cups. While the large cup was about fifty percent larger, three times the powder was placed in it.
After just a few minutes, steam began to waft silently from the kettle. It should have made a noise. In fact, nothing was making a noise around them. Aeris just nodded to Jasmine as she took one of the tri-orb sticks and ate the first of the three. The other skewer seemingly pushed a bit to the side for Jasmine to take. While they would get to enjoy said treats, the water was poured into the cups. The older woman than slid closer to the two, placing a small cup on Aeris's table, and then the other one on Jasmine's. The Fairy incarnate lifted hers up. Blew across the twice slowly twice before drinking it. It had a very light weak flavor. Just refreshing enough to quench a thirst and relax someone. After setting down the cup, she ate the second of the cake like orbs, smiling a bit uncontrollably. The sweetness was off the charts on this bite.
Next came the larger cup. There was only one and it was placed on Aeris's table. The water in it didn't go as high up as the smaller cups, giving quite a bit of lip to hold onto since none of the cups had handles of any sort. Aeris took a drink from it. The flavor was much more intense and hit ever flavor sensor on the way back. Her shoulders visibly slumped as she took the cup back from her lips. She set the cup on Jasmine's table and turned it halfway around so that she would have a clean area to drink from. Afterwards, she ate the last of the sweets and almost had a triumphant look on her face, though her body was motionless and still polite.
