The air was crisp with a slight nip of cold, a slight breeze pervading the otherwise mostly still park. Wolfgang exhaled as he stepped off the bus, taking in his surroundings and relaxing slightly as the sheer amount of people had diminished. He knew to expect to be in closer contact with many more people compared to his old house - but going from one neighbor in a mile to ten people crammed into every square square centimeter was bit much.
He checked his brass pocketwatch, his Mother's farewell gift, and snapped it shut. Though he wasn't yet enrolled in classes yet, the time of day was late enough that any students would be on free time. Cape fluttering behind him, he strode idly towards a shaded bench situated beneath a large tree. Sitting, he crossed his legs and began to observe the people passing by - not staring so much as having his vision idly drifting across the crowds.

Eli continued on his usual walk through his neighborhood. Living near a park and his high school definitely had their perks. He no longer has to walk for what felt like hours just to go to the gym or class of he didn't have a ride. Plus his uncle couldn't be near as overbearing which gave Eli a lot of relaxing time. The sky was getting darker, it was probably pretty close to sunset so he figured he walk around the block one more time then check in for the night.
He got to the park and looked around. It would work really well to train there if he could use his quirk, but of course quirk restriction laws were very strict. Then again he would probably break something so it was probably for the better. He looked at the Class 1-C chat on his phone as it started blowing up. "Shouldn't you guys be heasing to sleep or something gosh? 1-C sure is rowdy, then again who am I to talk." he said out loud, not caring who overheard him. He decided to take a rest and sat on a bench. "What am I gonna do with them?"

The abrupt interruption of his solitude startled him, but Wolfgang had already learned that the people in the city were a bit more... less reserved when it came to closeness and volume. The boy who plopped down next to him looked no older than fifteen at most, and happened to be monologing quite loudly. A phrase grabbed his attention, and Wolfgang turned and cleared his throat to grab the newcomer's attention. "I don't mean to be rude, but do you happen to be from the Hero school?"
What chance was this, that his first true encounter with someone here was a student from the same school? Though, in hindsight, he could also just be talking about a normal school's 1-C, so perhaps the question was a bit misguided.

Eli didn't even realize what he was wearing until he looked down, a plain white t-shirt covered with a black hoodie. Blue jeans, black shoes, and his usual headphones. Unlike normal though his headphones were around his neck instead of his ears. Of course his hair was the usual blonde mess it usually turned out to be. Not bad for someone who didn't even try to look appropriate for any outside interaction.
Eli was startled by the boy who he hadn't even realized was next to him on the bench, maybe he should've been more careful when he spoke out loud, "Oh yea I go to U.A. high, I'm in class 1-C, names Eli, yours?" he replied. It was a blunt answer but Eli didn't want to just give details about himself to this random kid. For all Eli knew he could be a villain or vigilante. That would be bad news for Eli. However Eli had a feeling they were gonna be friends, so he slowly spilled out information, "You look really knew to this area, I'm pretty new myself so I can help you out if you need."

"Wolfgang Shibata. You do actually happen to be correct. I recently moved here far from home in order to get an opportunity to enroll at the first Hero school - my ambition burns bright for just this opportunity. I enrolled, but still haven't received word back on which class I happened to be placed in." He paused, taking a small breath and wiggling in his seat to get a more comfortable position. "I was using this time off to explore my new home away from home, actually. Tokyo is certainly... big. And hosts a great deal of people. New experiences are something to be grateful for, I suppose." Eli was certainly easygoing if nothing else, sparing no time to hop into what Wolfgang read as a friendly conversation. Maybe it was normal to be so open, and his parents just happened to be isolationists? Regardless, he turned his full attention back to the boy and waited for a response.

"Thats great man! U.A. is an amazing school, if you get in Class 1-C like I did, expect a real rowdy bunch, Darren will probably drag you into some kind of trouble like he does with Alex and me but it's still really fun! Aki doesn't know the definition of too revealing but you'll get used to that pretty quick. A lot of people have really amazing quirks that have so many uses its really cool, if you're wondering about mine I can tell you about it, but I can't demonstrate right now, not here anyways. I'm pretty close to overusing it so I don't wanna risk anything." Eli was really excited to meet someone before they went to U.A. for once, he never knew any of his classmates before they were in the same class and sometimes he wish he did, maybe he would know why Darren was so obnoxious and caused so much trouble, or why Aki always wore revealing clothes, heck he would even be fine with knowing why Kirk was so passionate with all that self doubt. "Honestly though if you ever need anyone to stick his nose out for you or anything I got you man." He couldn't believe he thought this guy could be a villain at all. He didn't even look evil. Hopefully this kid would be in his class, he seemed pretty cool, maybe a little socially awkward from an isolated life or something, but he was alright in Eli's eyes.

Wolfgang smiled amicably at the pure excitement radiating from Eli, listening carefully to all he was saying and absorbing as much info as he could. "Ah, you're far too kind..." he commented softly. "To be honest, I've not had much interaction with others of my age group as much as I would've like, and was afraid that I'd come of as a bit... 'stiff' to some people." This was going far better than he could have hoped for, and despite Eli's clear earlier reservations, he had warmed to him surprisingly fast. If all the students at the school were like him, it would be a bit jarring - but enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Eli could tell this Wolfgang kid was definitely strange. He doubted it was on purpose but it was likely due to him not having much social interaction or something similar. Wolfgang confirmed Eli's suspicion that he rarely interacted with people. It made sense, he was going to U.A. which meant he had a quirk. A lot of people that had quirks were sheltered from the majority of society. Eli could definitely relate with that, hell he moved an entire country when his quirk first manifested. Not only that, he had been moved to a very low populated area with his uncle.
Even so, as soon as his first day at U.A. came, he was immediately accepted by everyone. He could still remember how Yumi expected him to be the best version of himself, or how Darren had messed with him and said that Eli took it like a man and how he was alright in Darren book. This kid would have no problem fitting in, Eli knew that much. "If you're worried about fitting in don't. When I first came to U.A. I was in a similar situation. I was sheltered for a lot of my life until I could control my quirk, but as soon as I stepped in I was accepted into the class. Instantaneously they decided I would be a good classmate to have just because I was there. I can't wholeheartedly say much for 1-B but I hear they're fairly relaxed. I haven't met any 1-A students but I'm sure they're just as accepting. Every class has a few oddballs and quiet mouses, so don't worry too much about it all right?" Eli spoke such words of encouragement. He knew this kid was gonna do well at U.A. and eventually he would be an amazing hero.
