lready wobbling huh...? Well, that's a Long Island for ya, guaranteed to know you out on your ass if you're not careful. Lots of things could be called not being careful, and chiefly among them being not having eaten a proper meal before your night out. Kanna actually took a while to notice the state Rowan was in, not that she'd have expected someone at this party to get like that so quickly... Faster than she might see in most places, sure... But this was too much. Of course, she had absolutely no idea the girl meant to order an ordinary Iced Tea. Sitting at the bar again, best she could do was wait to see if Rowan would join her "Bahaha~!", a scoff turned into laughter as a visibly amused Kanna smack her own thigh, resting her hand there loud enough to make it audible. Having drunken enough for that outburst of laughter to come out more easily, she shook her head in the end, rubbing her forehead as she looked right back at her, "Yeah, you ain't gotta worry about that, I completely agree with you. Making folks call themselves heroes just to use something they were born with; doesn't really surprise me so many would rather be villains." For the hacker to actually go and call herself a hero, that would be the day... She did study in the hero school, and had every intention of getting her hero licence. Only because having it allowed her to use her Quirk, and more importantly, the process of getting one would help her master that very same quirk. The fire girl claimed to find this about as silly as the blonde did, but how much did she actually believe those words? She could just have been saying whatever she needed to throw the hacker off the scent; after all she'd already proved she had the smarts to keep her affiliation a secret. "Neither do I... I doubt more than half the people here actually do to be honest...", answered Kanna, looking around, taking in a good bulk of the faces; those that she could actually see from her line of sight anyway. Only the bartender bringing her the second Blu Ox drew her attention back to the counter, and the pretty fire user sitting next to her. Only instead of thanking him right away, she looked at Rowan, quirking an eyebrow, not really feeling like having to carry the girl home, "If you're already like that, you probably should get something lighter." Kanna could order something for her again, but at this point, she'd much rather the girl decided for herself whether or not she wanted to get wasted. She wasn't the type to go getting random people drunk, but neither was she in the mood to stop them if they really wanted to. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ The problem with herself was that she had not eaten and that before when she still lived at home, Rowan had never had alcohol so much as she did now with this long island. She had three sips of wine when she was sixteen at a party with her mother and she was noticing the difference and she felt embarrassing and that was normal. She only felt more embarrassing the last couple of times or well since she arrived here in town.
"The title sounds a lot more fun than a hero, which sounds overrated." She giggled as they were talking about hero titles which surely was hypocrite and she found it funny because of that. Rowan was not sure what actually was going on with her and her dumb giggle. She was wondering what she should do at this party if she should actually go home right now that she felt already a bit intoxicated. The reason she went to go to the hero school was she picked her good side and was fighting very hard against her bad side. Well, not that hard because obviously The Burning Lady was just a person in her mind nothing more but it felt as if the decisions sometimes were hard and now that she felt so embarrassing, she just wanted to have something that would explode, it would be so much more fun.
"It's brave, I think, to open your house too many strangers. I mean you could take anything away from her and she would notice six days later and not know who had." She was not sure if she should say all that, because she did not want to come off like someone like that, also because she wouldn't want Kanna to know she could have been the rich snob that did this party, perhaps she did mind, perhaps she did not. There was a reason why she did not live in the penthouse. Too many things to be embarrassed about and also not knowing who or what kind of person she wanted to be.
She leaned on the bar too, staring at the fish that she could see from the side and looked back up as the bartender placed the new glass of long island in front of her, "Oh." She looked at Kanna as she spoke to her and she nodded, it was funny how she felt, because this was dumb, "I did not even order yet and I definitely don't think it was smart to order this again. I haven't eaten anything tonight." She wasn't sure what to do but the bartender did not give her any attention, "I will try to get his attention again or just you know, not drink anything anymore at all." She was not sure how that would work, because the air was dry and with so many people, she rather wanted to have water perhaps. |

t's actually pretty fucking dumb.", Kanna replied bluntly, shaking her head, as matter of factly as she often did and a disapproving frown to drive her point home, "I had a buddy lose his computer by pulling that stunt just to show off... So yeah...", she sighed, scratching her blonde and hair and resigning her to at least concede a part of her point, "There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity I guess." If she got lucky, it wouldn't even take her six days to realized her beloved penthouse had been plundered. After all, nobody really did anything to prevent Kanna from entering, and nobody knew her either. If she really wanted, she could have waltzed in with a fairly sized group. That said, she couldn't help but pick up on something that almost sounded like personal investment from the fire girl, in some way or form she'd yet to quite put her finger on. But how well could she rely on these guy feelings considering the girl next to her was pretty fucking drunk as it were, and even Kanna herself was far from exactly sober...? Especially after she started drinking down her second can with long, hearty gulps, calmly listening to Rowan as she acknowledged she probably shouldn't drink anything else: "Yeah, in that case you really shouldn't drink anymore.", the blond lost a bit of her admiration for the girl's intelligence for this, but this felt like a display of inexperience though... Everyone who's gotten drunk before knows how much worse it gets if you add an empty stomach on top of it. Rowan seemed oddly out of place at this party, and it wasn't even that hardcore of one or anything. Just your usual house party thrown by your average neighbour. As she finished downing the second Blu Ox, Kanna's energetic, inebriated high only swelled even further, enough do display hints of cozy forwardness she ordinarily never would. Looking curiously at the makeshift dancefloor as the music piqued her interest, jade green orbits turned back to Rowan, "Come...", Kanna yet remained short for words though, even though anybody could really look at where she was walking towards. She peeled her knee off the bench, nodding towards her chosen direction, eyes longering on the dark haired girl until she saw whether or not she'd join her. Just mainstream electronic music she might normally not pay too much attention to, but the sounded nice enough to draw her attention, courtesy of a rather high quality sound system. More importantly, she probably should help the girl forget about any ideas of drinking more. She really didn't wanna have to carry her home. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ She looked up surprised at Kanna as she said it was dumb. Because well she had not seen it coming so bluntly at this point and boy she thought she was very blunt but that was not the truth well not compared to Kanna at this point. "This is why I wouldn't do it. " She thought, honestly, that it was dumb and she wondered what kind of person had this penthouse. Would her parents return home tomorrow? Was it even the girl she met downstairs or was it someone else. "Anything fancy you would want?" She made a short giggling sound which she found embarrassing. "It was just a joke FYI." She really said the short letters instead of really forming the word. Which sounded like she wanted to be popular and all she wanted was to shut up. She was sure that she wanted to slam her head on the bar at this point and that was something she had not wanted to do before.
She should focus on something else if she wanted this conversation to go on properly, so she looked at the peanuts that were on the bar and it looked disgusting, everyone put their hands in there but what if it helped to this strange feeling and she stopped thinking about it and turned back to Kanna. She looked at the glass that was still in front of her but she did not want to drink it because that would be a disastrous thing to do. So she tried to get the attention of the barman, to tell him she won't drink this and that she would rather have some water."Oh, no, I agree, definitely, do not plan to drink anything alcoholic anymore. I rather get something like water." She waved at the barman, she was sure she was short but this was ridiculous, "Hi, ehm." She talked to him to just point out what her plan was.
Just when she convinced the bartender, she took a hold of the glass of water when she heard a come from Kanna and she looked up. She looked from Kanna to the point she was nodding at, "Oh, you want to dance?" She smiled because that was fun. Only her sweater was way too warm for that. So she moved a step away from the bar and took the big sweater off, she was really stupid for wearing that, she jumped up and leaned on the counter and stuffed it under there, not really the smartest move with hot pants but she did not care, "Keep this save for me." She did not care, she could buy a new one. Thank god she was still wearing a tank top, still, a black one though and her red bra was obviously visible but why care, she did not know anyone else here and she was sure Kanna would not care more or less. She also took out the hair tie so her long black hair was loose again. "Totally ready, let's have fun!" She would follow Kanna if she would walk now or take the first few steps before looking if Kanna was coming too. |

ancy...? Like what, a bar at my own place...?", replied Kanna, quirking her brow, scratching her cheek almost silly, confused look on her face. But then, her sense of humor seemed mostly limited to roasting and deadpan sarcasm. Rowan's next words got no more than an amused shake of her head, taking a while to realize she was joking about pilfering something from this house, "Ain't a bad plan, but i'd rather drink all her booze. Since she's nice enough to give us an open bar and whatnot~" After all, if this girl kept throwing parties like these and still offering the drinks, Kanna would always see that as the better deal than exploting her lack of security. Killing the golden goose and all that jazz, she was usually smarter than that. When that bowl of peanuts slid by under their nose as one "customer" passed it to another, the blonde nabbed a couple along the way, nodding as the girl decided to just go with water instead, merely watching her struggle to get the bartender's attention. For once, Kanna said nothing, much preferring to look at those ember eyes as she caught a glimpse of her impatience. She seemed pretty annoyed the man didn't go over to her the moment she raised her hand, finally hinting at the kind of true self Rowan might be hiding. Not enough to know for sure, but from that point on, Kanna wouldn't feel too surprised to the find the girl came from a well off family, the kind of upbringing that seldom lets you get used to waiting. She finished her drink as Rowan hopefully just chugged down her water. "Yeah, good idea.", noted Kanna, taking off her red jacket and leaving it near Rowan's, behind one of the barstools. Nope, she obviously didn't care her companion's tank top bared a bit of bra, not when the blonde's top pretty much looked like one already, so much she wasn't really wearing anything else underneath it. With such reduced clothing, Kanna had few secrets, with just about every tattoo completely out on display She'd properly take the girl's hand and lead her to the makeshift dancefloor. For someone who'd tell you she didn't really like to dance and needed a couple of intoxicants to actually do it, she actually did pretty well for herself. No doubt, experience played a crucial part her as she quickly navigate through, and found themselves a place amidst the small crowd. One her hand slid around the girl's back and their bodies moved closer, hips swaying ever so gently as weight shifted from one leg to the other. From this moment on, she only had eyes Rowan, only had ears from the bassy music reverberating through her body... And for once she could properly appreciate how pretty the girl looked... In another time, another place, the blonde might have gotten the urge to kiss her and see what happened. But Rowan was way more intoxicated than she was, not to mention they were now neighbors. She wasn't exactly the kind of looker she could hook up at a nightclub and expect never to see again. Instead, she'd dance with her until she felt the girl's feet growing more confident and steady, a telltale sign that some of the excess drunkenness might finally fade away from her swaying form. | ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ She shook her head with a grin, the bar, it was nice to have an aquarium in your room but it would not fit in the smaller room than in this penthouse, besides, she wanted a cat. Strangely saying she had always been obsessed with cats, which was a strange thing, considering that the tiny scar above her lip came from a cat, or perhaps that was the reason why. "You have a fair point, I like your way of thinking." She said holding up her glass of water, it was not much and she would not do the same but it was a good way of thinking. She would be a too much nervous wreck about this.
As she got her water, she would take a sip immediately before raising it while speaking back to Kanna, it took her a while to react because of her impatience for not getting attention. She wouldn't finish it, she would not dare to go to the toilet here and better not drink too much, including alcohol or anythin else. Perhaps she would eat something when she got home again, as long as it was something healthy, perhaps an apple because she did not feel like gaining weight simply for picking something irresponsible.
When she dropped her sweater, Kanna followed her example and Rowan casually let her eyes gaze over her new acquaintance. Kanna took her hand and walked about two steps in front of her as Rowan quickly followed, now noticing most of the tattoo on her back, "Wow, that's impressive. Stupid question but did it hurt a lot?" Because Rowan would never dare something like that, only proved more that Kanna was more of a daredevil compared to Rowan, who didn't dare a cigarette, had never had so much alcohol, let alone dare to get a tattoo.
Rowan was surprised how Kanna danced with her, she simply followed Kanna her lead and smiled, she couldn't stop smiling. The black haired student definitely had not expected to be dancing at this party and especially not with someone that looked so amazing like Kanna. She couldn't help but giggle once or twice until she finally realized what was happening, as if she sobered up a little.
She had no idea for how long they danced or what the time was but she sure had fun and before she left, took her sweater back, she thanked Kanna once or twice for the great night. She felt sure that she should not drink so much again and she could use hours of sleep, but school was tomorrow.

up, girl had to eat/drink a fair amount she obviously lacked any real resistence to alcohol. Not much Kanna could do about that at this point though, she wasn't about to force water down her throat or anything of the sort. She could do something entirely, make sure Rowan properly walked off the excess inebriation... Or in this case, danced off might sound more accurate. She doubted they'd stick around much longer after this though, but at this point, she felt a sufficient measure of concern not to abandon an obviously out of place, sufficiently drunk companion at the party. "Yeah, hurts like hell, though still not as much as you'd think... It went on for a long, but you can tell that much", she chucked, rubbing behind her head, lifing up her ponytail ever so slightly, almost as if to give the girl a better look. She obviously appreciated praise towards her body art - especially after knocking back a few - enough to unwind and answer the question with a little more than one liners like she so often did. And this time, she gave a quite clear explanation, raising her tattooed left hand, and afterwards her whole left arm to show the Kanji underneath, giving a short explanation both, "These two hurt the most... Hands are hassle to get inked. This one might have been worse if I'd made it bigger though" Whenever she thought carefully about all the spots she'd chosen to tattoo, Kanna could actually appreciate her much higher pain treshold compared to most people... Inner thigh, hands, stomach, under ribs... All of those places are among the most painful to get inked in, even for people with a bit more meat on their bones. The largest was also the most recent, and by then she'd grown a bit more accustomed to that feeling of needles cutting across her skin. She still had plenty of canvas left, so Kanna knew she'd inevitably get another one. Once she found an artist who struck her fancy no doubt... Of course, the space between the bar and the dancefloor wasn't so huge as to give Rowan that much time as to admire every stroke of jet black ink against her pale, milky skin... Neither Kanna nor her companion had much in the bust department, so pulling her close to dance meant their faces would hover a mere couple inches away. The blonde would pull her any closer though, deciding against exploiting the inexperienced girl's inebriation... They'd lose track of time quickly enough, some songs were actually pretty good, others not so much. Hopeful dancers came and went though, but even before the sun had risen, she left, thanking the girl for a time well spent. Kanna merely shook her head, she had nothing to thank her for, maybe they'd meet each other again soon enough. As Rowan left though, realization of tomorrow's classes suddenly hit her, "So much for morning hours...", she gave up, shrugging and walking away to sleep [END] ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY
