So, I'm making a group and I want to put this storyteller system to use besides what I'm doing for my plots But the kind of storyteller I want is a bit different than just narrating a plot or topic. I want narrators for fights. Basically, the group I made requires members to fight to rank up within the group. And to be fair, no one gets to start in one of the ranked positions held in the group. But they need challengers to fight! So hey, what about storytellers doing that? Seems like a cool idea. And as long as the staff is cool with it, I want to do it. Once I get the okay, I'll do an official request. But this is just to see if anyone is interested in doing it. What you'll be controlling is an NPC, not something that gains or loses EXP. Not something that gets to move up and down the ranks of the group. Just there as an original member until they are bumped out of the top ranks and it is filled with PC characters. If you like the idea of doing that, and flexing your combat muscles, lemme know here or on discord.

Going to need more information as to whether this involves students, villains, etc. Where is it located? The problem with NPCs in this sense is, if it's on campus for example, we have so many PC students that doing the NPC shenanigans would be a little awkward. That being said, a combat-type brawlers guild could still be fun to do. Depending on how many are interested though, I'd highly recommend finding another way to establish who takes which spots.

It involves everyone that wants to be involved, students, villains, anyone that wants to be in the group. It's not located anyone specifically. It's a matter of recognition between those within the group. They'll hear that one person defeated another somewhere and to most people that means nothing, but for those that are in the group and know of it, it means that the ranks have changed. They are private duels, held wherever the two feel comfortable dueling at. It's a matter of seeing who has the better swordsmanship. Here are the two topics created for it for reference: Link 1, Link 2
