A soft gasp left the redhead's pink lips, quickly turning to face her teacher as she felt his hand on her shoulder. She knew he was lying when he said not to worry about it, she could tell he was still troubled by it too, which only fueled Chise's anxiety about the situation. She felt terrible about what happened, if only those two people she cared about hadn't fought on that day, would things be different now? It's not like she can just ignore what happened, she can't rewrite the past and make it to today there was nothing to worry about. That's not how life worked. What G said next shocked her, him ruin her time?
"What are you even talking about!?" she said, feeling herself get a bit emotional, trying to keep herself calm but her voice raised slightly. "You didn't ruin our time, you could never ruin my time! S-Sure I didn't expect to meet her there that day, but we just so happened to meet in the food court. Then I suggested we hang out together since I didn't know you were at the mall as well. Of course I'm going to blame myself for you getting hurt, I didn't know she thought you were bad and attacked you out of no where. If...if I had learned earlier, there would have been no need for a fight...we could have all gotten along together...it's all my fault. It's always my fault!" the once happy girl spoke, her voice cracking as she did all she could to keep it together. Chise stared up at G, tears forming in her eyes, threatening to spill over as she balled her fists, her nails digging deep into her palms.
Chise closed her eyes and pushed herself against his chest, her breathing a bit ragged as she tried stopping the waterworks forming up as she spoke. She didn't want to cause a scene, but she wanted to get the point across that it was her fault, he was not the one to blame. He was the victim in this situation. Sure she loved her friend, but she should have talked with her first instead of rushing out like that and hurting her other good friend. Stupid, stupid, stupid! She was so stupid! Why couldn't she think before she acted so rashly like that? This was no way to act in a public setting, but once Chise's emotions started flooding, it was hard getting them to stop. She didn't even care about what he said last, to worked up to really even care about Akane right now. She was so angry at her but she was also sad, terrified, anxious, a whole tornado of emotions. "I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry," the redhead sobbed, sniffling and hiccupping as she cried into her teacher's chest.

He didnt expect that she'd get so emotional. But how was she to blame? It didnt make sense. It was his fault. "No no no. What are you even talking about? How can it be your fault? All you did was trip and fall. The red head assumed I attacked you so she attacked me. Its my fault for startling you. You had no control over that. So dont cry" he said and then quickly hugged her
He held her and tried to cheer her up "Shhh. Shhh shhshhh. Dont cry. Dont cry" he'd tell her gently and continue "Nothing it your fault. Now once again remember what I told you. Turn that frown upside down" he then stopped hugging her and looked her in the eyes "You're a Hero. You're gonna be a real Hero. You got to be strong. Not just physically but emotionally. You have to smile and be strong. So promise me this" he sort of changed the subject, but he just wanted a precaution if anything happened "Promise me, if anything happens to me. Dont cry. Train, get strong and fight crime with a smile on your face. Give people... hope"
This might seem like its out of the blue for Chise, but G thought, if she cries over a simple misunderstanding. What would happen if he's killed in action or if he's arrested for his past crimes or vigilantism. What if they dont see eachother? Would she cry? No, she shouldnt cry for him. He had to make sure. Make her promise. Make her emotionally and physically strong

No matter what he said, it was still her fault. So what if he scared her? It was her fault for being jumpy in the first place. She was a clutz and she knew it. She did have control over it, she could have maintained her balance or not have been so freaked out when he touched her shoulder. Chise gasped again, feeling her body stop moving as G's arms wrapped around her smaller frame. The feeling of his warm arms wrapped around her calmed her down a bit, but she was still upset over the whole situation. Chise listened as he tried his best to calm her down, telling her not to cry only made her want to cry more. He was kind of bad at trying to cheer people up, but she'd never tell him that.
She didn't want the hug to end but soon felt him pulling her away from his embrace, she tried to go back in to cling to G but his hold on her stopped her from moving. She looked at him with red, puffy eyes and a trembling lip, knowing she'd start crying again if he said even one thing to throw her off. "b-but...I'm not strong, I-!" she was cut off as G shushed her, telling her to promise him something important. Why would he bring up something happening to him? Was he sick? Injured? In trouble? Was he going to die? The thought made Chise cry harder, she hadn't known the man for long but he was like a second father to her. "N-No y-you can't die...you won't die! Nothing is g-going to happen to you! P-Please don't say things like that!" she cried, clinging to him once more, this time refusing to let go. Why would he say something like that at a time like this? Don't cry. Train, get strong and fight crime with a smile on your face. Give people hope? She was so weak, how could she give people hope when she had no hope to begin with? She could feel herself hyperventilate, thinking about bad things happening to G that she couldn't stop. She felt weak, numb even, and a bit dizzy, almost like she was going to faint from working herself up too much. When was the last time she was this emotionally strained?

G sighed and hugged her and this time he held her longer "You know what I am." he then whispered "I'm not a hero. Not a legal one" and then spoke up gently in her ear again again, still hugging her "You're a real Hero. You will be safer. I might get caught. Im not saying the cops will get me right away. But... its a precaution. Please Chise. You need to calm down. Come on"
Seeing as she's feeling weakly, G saw her as unfit to train further. There was no way she'd do sit up at her state. He then picked her up "Ok. This is no bueno. You cant do sit ups in this state. Lets get your things and leave" G said holding her up briday style and went to pick up her stuff
"Do you have medicine for this condition?? Is this narcolepsy?? Or just stress?" he asked her
She was crying. Too much. He had to tell her this now. They're student and sensei. Usually on movies, manga and anime. Something would happen to sensei and the student would be traumatized or whatever. Never in media did G see the sensei prepare their students in cause of death or whatever. Meanwhile, G had this feeling that sooner or later he'd get arrested. He could see himself calling Chise from prison telling her that training is canceled forever. He had to let her know there were posibilities. And he realized she needed to becme strong not physically, but emotionally. Sadly, G had no idea how to do that
"Come on. Lets do something better" he said while still carrying her

She always messed good things like this up, all because she overreacted with her emotions. She knew G was only speaking the truth and trying to help her but she wouldn't listen. Maybe she wasn't fit to be a hero, seeing as how childishly she acted in situations like this. She couldn't even handle something as emotional as someone she cared about potentially leaving. She felt like she may fall asleep at any moment, seeing as crying had made her a nervous wreck, a ticking time bomb ready to go off at any minute. Perhaps she should not have told G what was on her mind, it would probably be better.
Chise felt herself being lifted off the bench, a bit scared at what was going on. Chise looked around her, a bit frantic until she saw that G had picked her up as if she were a bride of some sort. Chise stopped crying for the time being but felt her cheeks heat up in embarrassment at the situation. "G-G, please p-put me down I-I can walk!" she said, trying to cling to him and not cling to him at the same time, afraid he might drop her. She was probably really heavy and didn't want to make him carry her out of the gym. What would the other patrons think if they saw a grown man carrying a teenager out of the gym like a bride?
Chise watched G pick up her bag and leave the gym with her in his arms. "W-Wait no...I-I want to go back in and train I...I have to get stronger," she tried pleading with G as her waterworks have stopped for now and her breathing was a bit more regulated. Medicine? The only medicine she had was for her narcolepsy, she didn't think hyperventilating was a symptom of narcolepsy. "s-stress...probably," she admitted to him, she didn't know what else it could be. Anxiety? Nerves?
"W-Wait...where are we going G? C-Can I at least walk p-please, you don't have t-to carry me anymore," she asked, hoping he would listen to her and put her down. Some might think this was a bit taboo for a mine to be carrying a girl in such a manor. Something better? What could they do that was possibly better than training? She had to get stronger so she could become a hero!

She was blushing, now thats a start "Yea? On what planet can you walk? I saw how you looked. Come on, get your stuff" he told her
Chise tried to plead that that they could train, but she couldnt convince G. She was an emotional wreck just like him. When he asked if she had medicine or if she knew the cause of this. She said stress. Yea.. stress. Stress is a killer, no way he'd risk training her under stress. "Stress. Ok, training done for the day. You and I need to chill and do a fun relaxing activity to calm the nerves. Also dont worry, I wont drop you. If I could carry a giant bee woman. I could carry you as well" G said and helped Chise get her stuff
He wanted to take her home... his home. Maybe let her chill and relax there. Its close to UA anyway. Or maybe take her to a cafe in Tokyo? Or maybe he'd see how his house in Tokyo was doing? He was rennovating it. Or maybe... "Chise. If you could go anywhere in Tokyo. Where would you go?"
It was time to make Chise happy. Maybe fulfill a wish and buy her something. After all, he bought Akane a gift. Chise could have the honour of choosing hers

Chise softly pouted as her continued to carry her, she wasn't a baby, she could walk on her own. Where were they even going? Were they going back to the park to train? She wondered if his punching bag was still there from the last time...she would think he wouldn't have forgotten about it for this long now. When she heard training was done for the day, she was about to object until she heard him say they needed to do something relaxing to calm her nerves. But she wanted to train, couldn't they just do that again? It was relaxing to a point! Chise sighed, knowing there was no way to convince him otherwise.
Wait...giant bee woman...did she mean his teacher? "Do you know Tsutsuji-sensei? W-Why were you carrying her? Is she alright?" she asked, quite confused how the two could have met but a little worried that she might have gotten hurt at some point. Maybe G was there to help her in that time, she couldn't think of any other reason why he would carry her. Maybe now was not the right time to talk about something like that, G seemed to not put to much thought into it.
Huh? Anywhere she wanted to go? She really didn't like to go to many places, if anything she would much rather stay home and bake than go out somewhere. "A-Anywhere?" she asked, trying to think of an answer for him. "M-Maybe that new bakery that opened up downtown...but they're closed on the weekends," Chise said with a small frown. She didn't really know where else she would want to go. "A sweets factory? One of those themed cafes? I don't really like to go much of anywhere," she said with a shaky smile and a sheepish chuckle. She was bad at this. "W-Where do you want to go G?" she asked him, hoping he might give some better answers than her.

"Yea, she said she was Tsutsuji,I call her Yellow Jacket or Yellow for short. I met her just recently. She was chasing some purse snatcher who ran into me. I beat him up. We went to take the snatcher to the authorities and give back the stolen purse. When we got out of public view I carried her because she strained herself. Its simple as that. I'm a gentleman and I carry a lady" he then looked at Chise "Dont think you're a baby because I carry you. Consider yourself a lady. Someone worth carrying around" he wanted to give her some confidence. Being carried doesnt make you a baby or pathetic. Means you're special. Like a princess.
G understood her concern. But.. wait.. "Wait wait wait. You know Yellow? How do you know a giant bee woman?"
After that they talked where she wanted to go. He really wanted her happy. But it seemed she was indecisive. He gently put her on the ground, hoping she wasnt weakly and dizzy as before. They still didnt leave the gym, but they were at the entrance "Gurl. I understand you wanna be strong. But I dont wanna stain you. If you think you had enough rest and you're not sicky, weak or sleepy. We could do sit ups and train more if it makes you happy. But, I just wanted to do something good for you. Something less straining and more relaxing" he fell quiet for a while before coming up with an idea "How about next time. You, me and Akane hang out. Would that make you feel better? Forget those negative memories of a misunderstanding. And forge new memories"

How did she know Tsutsuji-sensei? Well that was obvious...well to Chise at least. "Ah Tsutsuji-sensei is my homeroom teacher at U.A. She is the teacher for the General Studies class," Chise said with a smile. "She's really kind, and smart, but she is kind of hard to read sometimes. It's really cute when she is happy, she has a small smile on her face and an orange blush on her cheeks. I love her. It's surprising that you know Tsutsuji-sensei as well. Now we both know her!" Chise told G a bit about her homeroom teacher.
A small sigh of relief left the violet eyed girl's lips as the white haired man put her down on the ground. She did a small squat as to gain her bearings once more, no shaky legs for her. "Y-You're not going to strain me...I'm a bit calmer now. I just worry about you...is it so wrong to want to worry about someone you care about?" she said looking up at G with hopeful eyes. Chise wanted to find a way to be able to train and have fun. Perhaps a compromise is in order. "How about we make a deal," the peach haired girl spoke up, "Why don't we train for another hour or two and then we can go somewhere fun...how does that sound?" she asked with a smile, hoping G would accept her offer.

She's Chise's teacher?! UA teacher?! Homeroom teacher?! General Studies Teacher?!?! G thinks if she told him that, but for life of it, he couldnt remember. She probably did, but it completely slipped his mind "She is quite nice. She's very nice" he proceeded to listen to Chise how Yellow is hard to read, cute when happy, and has an orange blush. "Now thats a lovely sight to see" he couldnt help his inner nerd. He loves bugs. Of course, he was biased in liking Yellow. G chuckled "We both know her."
After he let her down, she kept saying how he wont strain her and how calmer she is now. He was touched that she cared this much about him. "You're....too kind. I can see you have hero material."
This kindness, this selflessness. She had real virtues, unlike the rest of them. He could see that Yellow influenced this young girl very well, he could see Yellow having many virtues as well. Maybe she was the only true hero he met. Thinking about it. His respect for her went up.
And then suddenly, Chise came up with a solution to their dilemma. He listened to her and decided "Thats a great idea. I like it! All right then! Lets do some sit ups."

Chise smiled up at G, hearing him say that she had hero material made her heart skip a beat. To be recognized as a hero by her teacher made her all the more happy to train. She never liked to see those she cared for sad or angry, she wanted to do anything in her power to make sure they were happy once more. Perhaps that was what G was trying to do for Chise just a little before. He really was a nice person and not just some scary looking fun.
Chise was happy once G accepted her compromise, getting to train but also getting to have fun made the day that much more enjoyable...and she could forget the little display of emotions that happened in the gym. "S-Should we go back into the gym to do sit-ups or should we do them somewhere else? It might be easier to do them in the gym on a mat or something...if that's how they work at a gym. I did some training at home, like some sit-ups and pushups to help prepare me for training today," Chise told G with a smile. She hoped he would continue to be proud of her, she wanted to get stronger for not only herself, but for those around her as well.

She was so different now then before. He can feel the happiness radiating from her. Now thats more like it.
"Of course we'll do it at the gym.... Also, wait. You said you did sit ups yourself?" he was surprised to hear that his pupil trained even without him. Damn, was he proud of her right about now
G led her back to the gym and asked "So, tell me. Were they hard? How much did you do it in 1 sitting? What was your max record?" He kept asking for some details so he could try and adjust the training for her properly.

Chise looked back up at G with a smile before heading back into the gym with her teacher, She avoided any of the unwanted looks and glances because of the little stunt she had done only a little bit ago. She kept her head down until they reached the spot where they needed, wanting to avoid the other patrons as much as possible. They probably thought she was childish for acting in such a way, and they were probably right. She didn't want to think about that any more. She just wanted to get back to training like how they were supposed to today.
The redhead set her bag down in another open cubby before sitting on one of the mats provided, listening to G as he asked her about her previous self-workout. "Hmm? Oh yeah. I wanted to be a bit prepared before we came to the gym so I decided to do some sit-ups and push ups before today. I was more successful with the sit-ups though, push ups are kinda hard," she said with a soft chuckle before getting her water bottle out of her bag once more. One sitting? Did that mean a certain time frame or just how many she did before she stopped? "Well, I think I did about 20 or so before I took a break, sit-ups that is. Pushups I could barely do 5 without my arms wanting to give out," she told G truthfully. She had to start somewhere, maybe she'd be able to do more sit-ups and push ups as she continued to train with G.

G listened to his student. So she did sit ups and push ups as well. Well, there was no point doing it now, it would feel redundant for G. He should help her with stuff she cant do home. Do something special instead of something average. G looked at the weights they used and remembered an excercise. He walked over to his 5kg weights and took em and walked over to a bench "This here is to excercise and train up your forearms. First step is that you start out by placing the weights on one side of a flat bench. Step two is to kneel down on both of your knees so that your body is facing the flat bench. Step three is that you gotta use your arms to grab the weights with a supinated grip aka palms up and bring them up so that your forearms are resting against the flat bench. Your wrists should be hanging over the edge. Step four, start out by curling your wrist upwards and exhaling. Step five, slowly lower your wrists back down to the starting position while inhaling. Step six is that your forearms should be stationary as your wrist is the only movement needed to perform this exercise. Step seven. Just do it" G explained what she should do and showed her each step with using himself as an exmple It may have sounded complicated, but he hoped that when he showed each step that it would make it simpler for her. It was some stuff he was looking up online before coming here. He went with the version that used weights and not a barbell like a real man. Chise was too delicate for that

Oh so she wasn't going to be doing sit-ups again? She didn't mind doing sit-ups, sure they were a bit tiring but she had to do them to get stronger. Chise sit on the mat and watched as G explained a different exercise for her to do. So it was basically lifting weights again but this time she was doing them while keeping her arms outstretched on the bench. That didn't seem to difficult, especially with G showing her how to do it exactly. The words were a little confusing but she didn't mind, that was just G. "Alrighty," she said getting the same weights from before, except these ones were purple. She knelt next to G with her weights in her hands, stretching her arms out and imitating him as he lifted his weights. It was a little troublesome at first, struggling to get both weights up at the same times but after a few minutes, she was getting the hang of it, taking her time and going slow, making sure she was doing it correctly. "Am I doing this correctly G?" the spunky redhead asked, turning to look at G as she continued her exercise just as he said.
Chise's mind began to wander once more, thinking about what all they would do when they finish this exercise, what other exercises they would do, where they would go afterwards, how long they would spend at that mysterious destination, things that perhaps she shouldn't think about until later. Hopefully she could take a break or two as she kept exercising her limp noodle arms as G called them, she might need a small water break but she was sure G would let her.
