 She was busy. She had so many jobs, so many tasks. She had also uprooted her own life. She needed to go home, but where? Where was her home now? What if Sato didn't allow her? Could she find an apartment? Would she waste money on a hotel until she could find one? Would she live with Seki? His house was noisy, and she wouldn't be able to use her quirk in his home. There was so little options, and so much that could go wrong. "My name is-" Strangers. All it took was a name, their identity that make them strangers no longer. "Tsuna Bones." of course. After it had happened she wasn't sure she could trust anyone. She spoke without a pause, the name falling from her. Maybe this girl was harmless, or maybe she too, was caught in a web of lies like Big Sister. Se tsuna and Kasey had their powers, and with it, she would begin to tell only half truths. She didn't even trust herself. "Nature is freeing." Kasey spoke again, using her allies name as her own. How long would she remember it? Forever. She had many names she went by. The only names she could remember, were her own. "At night, there's no one around. Ponds, forest or parks, it's just relaxing." she would speak again, joy in her voice. Her eyes closed as a smile was drawn on her face. She happily floated beside the girl. . . even if she didn't trust a single mortal. ~ 254 ~ |

"Tsuna hmm? What a pretty name. Quite uncommon, yes, but it sounds rather delicate like that of a flower," Nari mused, thinking of what other beauties the rosette's name could encompass. The brunette supposed since the other offered her name it was only fair to give out a name in return. "You may call me Brooke, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Miss Tsuna," the snake woman said with a soft smile, a hint of pink coming to her cheeks as she continued to float in the somewhat murky pond water with the other. She wondered how long she had been floating there, if anyone had passed and saw them both floating in the public pond, how many sketches she could have drawn were it not for her going into the water. The brunette's mind filled with small thoughts, none of which posed any real concern to her, just the occasional tiny thought bubble that popped into her head.
The girl with green eyes listened as the other described her take on nature, seeing it as a haven almost for the pinkette. A place where you didn't have to conform to the rules placed by society, a place where anything goes and you are the master of your own fate. A place where roles are discarded and the only thing besides you is the beauty of the flora and fauna surrounding your person. Nature really was a special sight to behold. "Yes, this is rather relaxing. Better than most pastimes I would say," the brunette chimed in, adding her own comment to the conversation. "If only life could be like this always," the snake girl mused, closing her eyes once more, taking in the quiet of the surroundings around her. |

She opened her eyes to stare into the starry sky. Her smile faded into an expressionless look. While she enjoyed it, she was not faced with the question of when it was time to leave. "We must head to Sato's before he goes to sleep. Or less we'll be back on the streets again." Setsuna suggested such an idea to her. Only to have Kasey nod to herself. "Well time flies when you are having fun, as they say." she would speak to the girl, only for her to think about her way out. She needed to find a place to stay, for at least the night. She could move back into an apartment, sure, but not this late at night. And she did not wish to head to a hotel either. They just never felt right. "Should I tell you my number, or should I write it down?" she would ask, wondering if she had paper she could write on, or if she had a memory that could retain the series of numbers she was about to repeat. While she wished to stay, there was other matters to tend to. Perhaps she would finish the conversation with Brooke another night. ~ 201 ~ |

The brunette heard the other note of the elapsed time they had spent floating and talking with one another, not even thinking they had spent that much time lazing around in the pool to begin with. "Yes I suppose it does. Time is a cruel mistress when it wishes to be," the green eyed girl said. She felt the water move around a bit more than before, promoting the brunette to stop floating, seeing as the other had as well. Perhaps it was time to call it quits for the night, head home and make some tea for herself.
The snake woman was surprised the other still wanted to give her contact information to her, asking if she would rather her write it down or have Nari memorize the number. The green eyed girl looked at the rosette woman and spoke, "You can just tell me right here. It might be a bit of a hassle for me to go back up and get my journal and write it down. No one likes a wet notebook now, the pages will get ruined." She had quite a memory, so she was sure she could remember a simple phone number, if she couldn't then there must be a serous issue with her. The pressing question now was would the girl give her a fake contact number or would she truly give out her own contact info, she would have to wait and see if fate would play into her hands. |

] It had all seemed so strange, but still, she was someone who kept her word. She was not going to offer something without delivering it. "Four-six-two, Six-six-three-seven." she would tell the girl. In her own mind she envisioned her phone. The keypad where the letters were, were where she got the idea. It was not a random number to her, but one of choice. "Call me when you get back to shore, so I can save your number as well." she would tell her before beginning to slowly swim back to her own shore. There, when her phone rang, she would save it under the name Brook. If there was not much else to say or do, she would dry off what she could and make her way to her boss's home. There was no reason for her to stay any more than needed. Besides, she was sure she could get whatever else she needed, and it wasn't like she couldn't text the girl she met to arrange their next meeting. "It was very nice meeting you!" And perhaps the next arrangement would be just as pleasant. That was of course, assuming she even desired to tell the girl of her next visit to the lakes. /possible end? ~ 206 ~ |

462-6637, the number of the pretty rosette woman she shared a dip in the pond with. It wasn't that hard to remember, she would put that into her phone once she got back to her belongings on the shore. The brunette turned to the woman, hearing her request to call her number once she had gotten to her phone. With a soft smile and a nod, the green eyed girl replied to the woman before making it back to her side of the pond where she had left her notebook and clothing.
Nari dried her hands on the skirt she had before reaching into one of it's pockets, retrieving her phone from inside. Nari went to her contacts and added the pink haired woman's number before calling it, soon hearing a jingle come from Tsuna's phone as she called. Once the other had received her call and ended it, Nari smiled knowing the woman across the pond now had her contact info in return, not playing a trick on her whatsoever.
The sage eyed girl tried drying off in the warm night air before attempting to dress once more, her clothes sticking to her damp skin. It was unavoidable as she had not brought a towel or a change of clothes, but she would be fine for a walk back home. The brunette's attention was turned back towards the rosette across the pond, hearing her mention that it was nice meeting Nari tonight. "It was nice to meet you as well, I hope to hear from you soon~" she said with a soft smile before picking up her belongings. With a small wave, the snake woman turned and made her way out of the park. She had never expected to run into an encounter like this, it was oddly nice to have a civil conversation with someone for a change. She hoped to meet this mysterious Tsuna again, perhaps one day soon their paths would cross again, who knows what else the brunette would learn from her new...friend~ |
